Public Transport nach Galway City Centre völlig unkompliziert (1,90€ pro Person und Richtung). Sehr weiche Matratze und das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen, dafür ist es im Vergleich mit anderen B&Bs aber auch recht günstig.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026L'emplacement . Un peu à l'extérieur de la ville donc parfait . Ayant mené mon vélo je pouvais y aller tranquillement pour profiter de mes soirées. Le petit déjeuner était énormément copieux et très bon . Mme la gérante au petit soin et très aimable . Un petit plaisir de papoter tous les matins . Merci

La salle de bain est exiguë et vieillissante. L accessibilité, la taille et le réglage de la douche serait à revoir.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Sehr nette, fürsorgliche und bemühte Gastgeberin die mit ihrer Art die vielen negativen Punkte wieder etwas ausgleichen konnte. Gutes Frühstück ganz nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Ruhige Lage, obwohl nah an der Hauptstraße, ca. 10-15 min mit dem Auto bis in die City. 5 Min mit dem Auto oder 20 min zu Fuß bis zu einem ganz tollen Strand an dem nicht viel los war ( wir waren Mitte Juli da und hatten 25-28 Grad alle Tage). Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus.
Die Sauberkeit ist in allen Bereichen stark verbesserungswürdig. Viele Haare im Bad,vor allem in der Dusche. Duschkopf stark schimmelig und auch sonst war die Dusche leider gar nicht sauber. Millimeterdicker Staub wo man hinschaut. Schublade, in der die Kaffee- u. Teleutensilien standen voller Krümel und Haare und klebrig. Keine Löffel (für den vorhanden Instantkaffee) und leider auch keine Milch. Keine WC-Bürste vorhanden. Handtücher mit handtellergrossen Löchern und auch Flecken. Das Bett eine Vollkatastrophe: stark durchgelegene Matratze, das gesamte Bettgestell stark wackelig. Spannlaken viel zu klein gewählt sodass es alle paar Minuten an den Ecken hochrutschte. Gastgeberin wirklich sehr sehr nett aber nochmal wiederkommen würde ich nicht.

Her delicious and generous breakfasts, her recommendations on places to go and things to do, and everything in between... all a perfect 10! Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The host kindly shared valuable tips for our trip and places to visit, they were really useful! The B&B is really easy to find and the parking is right in front of it.
The bedroom was not the expected, you were just 2 but it was really small. The bed was not comfortable (the mattress was not good), and the shower was old and low water pressure. I believe we were just unlucky with the room that was assigned to us since the other rooms were much different but even so, not a good experience.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026l'accueil et la gentillesse , le sourire de notre hôte , la place de parking pour la moto juste devant la maison, les super petit déjeunés ( avec fraise du jardin !!) et les pancakes fait maison . quelle gentillesse ,un matin de pluie , notre hôte nous a même amenée en ville avec sa voiture perso ! il pleuvé (les joie de l'Irlande) et malgré la proximité de la ligne de bus. encore merci a elle .

Az ágy nagyon nem volt kényelmes, instabilnak is tűnt, kicsi is volt, sajnos nem sikerült jót pihenni benne. De ezen kívül minden kifogástalan volt. Főleg a vendéglátónk. :)

Le parking est juste devant le logement, privé mais exigu et "ouvert" sur la voie publique. La chambre elle_même est exigüe et peu fonctionnelle. Rien de grave mais il vaut mieux le savoir selon la durée de son séjour et le type de véhicule.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The breakfast was amazing, plenty of options and I couldn’t finish all the food :), Paula put in great effort to make sure we were looked after. Also, location was perfect for me as I’m only walking to and from ATU college the road so no need to take the car out.
WiFi in my room did buffer quite a bit but could be an issue with the location of the room rather than the WiFi itself.

La chambre était très propre, un grand lit très confortable et une salle de bain attenant très propre. Le petit déjeuner était très complet avec les spécialités irlandaises et de délicieux pancakes préparés par Paula.Bus à la porte pour rejoindre le centre ville de Galway rapidement le tout expliqué par Paula à notre arrivée. Tout était parfait !

Wir haben zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr eingecheckt und uns ab da im Zimmer aufgehalten. Gegen 22 Uhr wurde ich dann angerufen und erhielt Nachrichten, dass der Check-in nun schließt und wie lange wir noch brauchen. Auf die Antwort, dass wir uns bereits in einem Zimmer befinden, bekam ich nur mehr einen Punkt zurückgeschickt. Keine Ahnung, was ich davon halten soll. Kurz vor Mitternacht begann plötzlich jemand bei offener Zimmertüre mit Lautsprecher zu telefonieren. Das ganze Haus hatte etwas davon. Ob die Person ein Gast war oder zum Haus gehörte kann ich nicht sagen, nach der Bitte, etwas Leiser zu sein, schloss er dann aber zumindest seine Zimmertür. Einrichtungen ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles sauber!

Reviewed May 5, 2026Paula, the woman who checked us in was so nice and welcoming. She tried to assist us with dinner plans as best she could with it being a bank holiday weekend. The breakfast was made to order, plentiful and very good. The room and building was clean and serviceable.
The room we had was very small with no real place to put our luggage. The shower was minuscule and there was no place to set toiletries in the shower itself except on the floor. There were no decorations whatsoever in the room and only one outlet to plug in our charger. The location is a bit outside of the city and there were no restaurants close by.

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026The host, Paula, is absolutely adorable, friendly and very attentive to details. Cleanliness was perfect, and breakfast was fresh, abundant and delicious! Free parking is just outside the building, and the location is a 10-minute drive to the city centre.
Room size is not so big (with barely the space to open a suitcase), and shower is fixed to the wall, with water no longer properly hot at the end of the shower.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, zum Stadtzentrum fährt ein Bus fast vor der Haustür. Parkplätze sind genug kostenfrei vorhanden. Unser Zimmer war sauber, aber sehr klein. Für 1 Nacht war es okay. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr sehr nett, gibt Tipps und das Frühstück wird frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet. Die Pancakes sind mega. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.
