Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage und es ist sehr ruhig in Grotto Bay . Melissa hat uns wunderbar betreut und super Tipps gegeben und unabhängig vom Wetter kommt nie Langeweile auf. Der heiße Pool ist super. Wir hatten richtig Spaß. Die Lage zwischen Kapstadt und West Coast NP ist perfekt.

The property was incredible, so many beautiful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The space was beautifully decorated with fantastic amenities and so close to the beach. Grotto Bay was just gorgeous and will absolutely be coming back!

Very comfortable stay for my family , well equipped and loads of entertainment to keep us and my teenage sons happy - from the pool table to the dart board . Enjoyed the hot tub too (once I managed to get the temperature right ) .

Everything, the house was perfect. It came with everything from wood to milk and games galore as well as blow ups for the pool.

The stay was too short, thats the only problem that we had.

Everything. Probably one of the best houses we’ve stayed at with a group of friends. The house caters to all needs ie pool, hot tub, pool table , table tennis. The kitchen was also stocked with spices, teas, coffees etc. Melissa was also the nicest host we’ve ever had. Little voice notes to explain everything, she was so friendly, helpful etc. We will definitely go back.

If we had to say something, would be the upstairs bathroom is an ensuite so 4 guests share it via your room, but wasn’t a problem for us. And we had some guests in the roof of the house flapping around and making noise, but again, you in a nature reserve.

House spacious, many kitchen facilities, thoughtful gifts of wine and rusks, beautiful outdoor setting.

We were there during heat wave. Rooms need at least one fan each. Braai was very low down, so awkward. Rooms very bright without blackout curtains.

Well equipped, clean with a personal touch. Owners are friendly and they walk the extra mile to make us feel at home.

Our host was warm, responsive, and made us feel so welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back. This house has everything you need for a great family holiday. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. I felt spoilt with an ice machine, hot tub and misting fan. We spent family time enjoying the pool, table tennis and appreciated the variety of tv apps. Melissa made contact ahead of the stay to ensure we had all the info we needed ahead of time. On day 1 we had an issue with the dishwasher and Melissa sent a cleaner to assist us so that we did not have to lift a finger. She even had a new dishwasher installed. James, the cleaner was just so humble and helpful and went over and above expectations to make our stay memorable to make up for the broken dishwasher. Melissa takes so much pride in providing exceptional service and you will feel the love in the home with all the finer details, from bath salts to nice smelling aromatherapy oils.

From the moment I saw the advert on Booking.com, I knew this would be the perfect place to bring my teachers for some well-deserved rest and relaxation after a hard year. The house, the view, and the peaceful surroundings are simply wow. Everything exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and recharge. The quietness and the views are truly special. The hospitality was outstanding — we felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone and will most certainly book again.

Truly a retreat to recharge your soul… the hosts really make every effort for everyone to feel at home and you really do feel at home. We were only there for one night but it felt like we had been away for a good two or 3 days!

From the moment we arrived, this home exceeded every expectation — it truly deserves Michelin-star status when it comes to vacation stays! Our host, Mellisa, was absolutely phenomenal — attentive, thoughtful, and one step ahead of every possible need. Whatever you may want (and even things you don’t know you need yet), she’s already thought of and provided. The house itself is immaculate — sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything from quality cutlery and spices to top-notch appliances. The attention to detail is incredible. The main highlights? The warm pool, the relaxing hot tub, and that breathtaking ocean view — complete serenity from sunrise to sunset. The bedrooms are spacious with big, comfortable beds, and there’s no shortage of fun with a pool table, board games, and plenty of entertainment for everyone. You truly don’t need to bring a thing. The kitchen is fully stocked, there’s an endless supply of braai wood, complimentary coffee and tea, and even a thoughtful welcome tray of treats waiting for you on arrival. The property is private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature and beautiful birdlife. And to top it all off, meeting Wynard was such a joy — an amazing, kind soul who added even more warmth to our stay. This is one of those rare, soul-refreshing homes that you should stay in at least once in your lifetime — and then return again and again. A true gem and a little slice of heaven. This house has absolutely everything, you virtually only need to pack your clothes and food. There are games, puzzles, ping pong, pool. They have thought of everything, there is even foil and cling film, tea and coffee, seperate bins for recycling!

Everything about the house is perfect , you find everything you need for your stay we had a cold weather during our stay and the fire place made the house warm through out and we felt very cosy. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy The entertainment in the house was the favourite of the stay ❤️

The house is very well equipt with everything you need. Bedding was comfortable. Place was very clean and ordered. More than enough wood. Beautiful garden and pool. Lots of games that kept everyone entertained. One night stat is definitely not enough. There is absolutely nothing to fault. We cannot wait for our next stay.

Amazing stay at this lovely location. The property is well equipped with everything you can imagine. From table tennis, a pool table, darts, plenty of board games and a swimming pool - you won't get bored. It's only a 5 min walk to the beach and the property comes with beach items you may carry along (beach umbrella, chairs, cooler box, volleyball set). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice big kitchen and outside fire/braai area. Its the perfect place for a fun and relaxing getaway.
