Die Lage war gut, um die verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten und anderes in der Stadt zufuß zu besuchen, dennoch ist das Riad sehr ruhig gelegen. Eine Oase! Amina hat frische und geschmackvole Frühstücke zubereitet, und Aziz war stets um unser Wohlergehen besorgt! Großes Lob an die beiden!

Außen- und Innenpool sind mehr als kleine Erfrischungsbecken zu bezeichnen, wie allerdings in Riads meist üblich.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The staff and owners were absolutely wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The riad itself is beautiful, very recent, extremely comfortable, and decorated with so much taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and really charming. The breakfast was also a highlight - absolutely delicious and one of the best we had. We truly loved staying here and would definitely come back!

We can’t thank enough the hospitality and professionalism of both AZIZ and AMINAH — they truly spoiled us throughout our stay. AZIZ was everything: concierge, city advisor, and a real genie who could make anything happen whenever you asked. His recommendations, kindness, and attention to detail made our Marrakesh experience smooth and unforgettable. AMINAH is the sweetest housekeeper we have ever met and also an excellent chef. If you want any special food, she will happily prepare it for you with so much care and love. This riad truly runs on these two superheroes. They made our stay extra extraordinary and created memories we will never forget. Thank you both for making us feel at home in Marrakesh.

Great Riad to stay at your holidays. Quiet atmosphere, good architecture and details. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. Shoutout to my friend Aziz who was amazing. Also Amina was very kind and an amazing cook. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better.

Appena si entra nel riad, l'odore accattivante dei fiori d'arancio ci trasporta in un altro mondo. Lo stile raffinato e l'atmosfera rilassante sono l'inizio del benessere e la promessa di una bella vacanza in una città magica. Colazione buonissima e fatta sul momento. Yogurt, spremuta di arancio, macedonia, crêpe, bagrir o msemen, frittata... Stazione taxi, ristoranti roof top tutto a 5 mn a piedi. Il riad propone un infinità di servizi: corsi di cucina, massaggi, escursioni... Tutto è possibile, basta chiedere. Non ho abbastanza parole per definire la gentilezza di Amina che ringrazio ancora. Aziz, anche lui, è stato di grande aiuto. Si sono presi cura di noi. Loro sono il valore aggiunto del riad.

Minste dat de andere gasten in hun kamer kwamen of iets deden hoorde je dat. Enkele slapeloze nachten gehad omdat de buren gwn aan het praten wagen tegen elkaar in de kamer of iets later binnen kwamen in de Riad.

Die Unterkunft war so, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Amina und Aziz haben uns einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bereitet und bei allen Anfragen unterstützt. Das Riad liegt sehr gut, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Sehr stylisch und clean eingerichtet. Das Personal (Aziz und Amina) machen einen wunderbaren Job.

The staff Amina and Aziz were wonderful. It was exceptionally clean and quiet. My sister and I stayed for 4 days from 19th March 2026 and had a great time. The breakfasts are super tasty.

Nothing at all

Gorgeous sanctuary within the busy medina, peaceful and quiet with beautifully designed spaces to relax in. The hosts (Aziz and Amina) who looked after us during our stay couldn’t have been kinder, we felt very welcomed and catered for. Amina’s breakfasts were to die for and Aziz helped us with local knowledge, like finding a SIM card, booking a hammam, taxis to the airport and places to go for dinner. It made our stay all the more enjoyable. Thank you to both. 🥰

The house rules don’t allow guests to have a key to the Riad main entrance. Aziz is always on hand to let us in but we felt that it was a shame he had to stay nearby at all times in case we wanted to come and go regularly.

Super mooi verblijf en hele fijne lieve mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan. Ook een heerlijk ontbijt elke dag, kamers zijn mooi en netjes en de locatie is top. Zeker een aanrader!

Our stay at this riad in Marrakech was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The atmosphere of the riad was beautiful and peaceful, offering a perfect escape from the busy streets of the medina. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated with lovely traditional details that made the experience feel authentic. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with recommendations, directions, or anything else we needed. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming setting, which made every morning a great start to the day. The rooftop terrace was also a highlight — a perfect place to relax. We would definitely recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech and would happily stay here again.

Ik werd fantastisch opgevangen door Aziz en voelde me direct thuis. Ik kreeg uitleg over de stad en wat ik vooral wel en niet moest doen. De Riad is zoals omschreven en zoals je op de foto’s ziet, het is echt prachtig. Kamers zijn netjes en schoon. Elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt, vers klaargemaakt door Amina. De binnenplaats is mooi en rustgevend maar ik heb het meest genoten van het dakterras. Echt een aanrader waar je geen spijt van krijgt. Ik verbleef er 3 nachten maar had nog langer willen blijven.

Mon séjour dans cet établissement a été le pire vécu à ce jour. À mon arrivée, j’ai découvert une chambre sale (photos à l’appui), avec une douche cassée, impossible de se laver dignement, et une fenêtre dont la poignée était brisée – il fallait forcer sur une tige métallique pour pouvoir l’ouvrir. Le lobby étant encore plus sale que la chambre. Mais le plus choquant reste la tentative d’arnaque et l’attitude du propriétaire. Ce dernier m’a exigé un paiement en dirhams marocains (MAD) avec un taux de change anormalement élevé, bien au-delà du taux officiel. Pourtant, il est clairement indiqué dans les conditions de réservation que le taux du jour doit être appliqué. Lorsque j’ai tenté de discuter calmement de ce point, le propriétaire est devenu agressif et menaçant. Cela m’a mis dans une situation très inconfortable, anxiogène, et m’a réellement fait craindre pour ma sécurité ainsi que celle de ma compagne. Cela a profondément gâché notre séjour. Pour couronner le tout, il a ensuite demandé à un de ses employés de me contacter, et ce dernier m’a confié que le propriétaire envisageait de lui retirer une partie de son salaire à cause de notre désaccord, alors qu’il n’était en rien responsable. Une situation aussi injuste qu’inhumaine. Je déconseille vivement cet établissement, non seulement pour son insalubrité et son manque d’entretien, mais aussi pour les comportements abusifs et menaçants de son gérant. Booking devrait sérieusement reconsidérer la présence de ce logement sur sa plateforme.

Das Riad Babel ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und befindet sich in einem eher ruhigeren aber dennoch zentralen Teil der Medina. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren sehr, sehr sauber. Das eigentliche Highlight des Riad ist aber das Personal. Amina und Aziz sind super herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die beiden berücksichtigen individuelle Bedürfnisse (z.B. beim Frühstück) und helfen bei allen Anliegen rund um den Aufenthalt (z.B. Restaurant-Tipps, Aufenthalt im Hamam).

We had a great stay at this resort in Marrakech. Everything was excellent — the place was very clean, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Mr.Aziz and ms Amina, who made our stay even more enjoyable with their kindness and professionalism.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Marrakech.

Riad Babel is a wonderful place to stay in Marrakesh! This small guesthouse is a simple and very beautiful place that welcomes those who look for comfort and tranquility in the medina. Aziz was the perfect host! We arrived late in the afternoon, in an unusually rainy day, and he gave us all the support needed with our luggage from the transport to Riad Babel. The tea and biscuits offered with joy were the best way to start the vacations! During our 4 days in Marrakesh, Aziz was always ready to support any information our shared needs.

Beautiful quiet and peaceful Riad. Very well located - we could walk easily everywhere. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were also calm and cozy. Our hosts, Amini & Aziz were very welcoming and helpful and a special mention must go to the amazing breakfasts Amini whipped up for us each day!!

Beautiful riad! Location was great, in a quieter area of the medina but really close to the nicer souks/spa area and a short walk from all key attractions as well as popular restaurants in the new town. Aziz and Amina were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Aziz gave us great advice on what to see, helped with everything from taxis and walking routes to late check out and printing our boarding passes. Always there to greet us smiling, he made a great difference to our stay. Amina was also fantastic and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning, adapted to our requests. Again, always incredibly kind to us. Rooftop is lovely for basking in the afternoon sun and taking time out from the hustle and bustle. Courtyard is also super pretty and well kept. A really great spot to consider for a Riad experience in the heart of Marrakech.

The staff (Aziz and Amina) were exceptional. Great hosts!! Aziz was really informative and made navigating the hustle and bustle of marrakech very easy. The breakfasts were absolutely divine and when we fell ill we felt safe and well looked after. Decor on the property was gorgeous

On the first day it was difficult to find the property. Perhaps a sign or something would make this a bit easier. Construction near the property was disturbing but no fault of Riad Babel. Any extras outside of the room must be paid in cash which isn’t a problem but it did catch us off guard. Aziz was really helpful with pointing out best places to get extra cash out for dinner/exertions.

Especially the staff was wonderful! They made our visit really special and nice.

Vi hade en helt fantastisk upplevelse! Personalen var så trevlig och hjälpsam – särskilt Amina och Edris som verkligen gjorde vår vistelse extra speciell. 💛 Frukosten var supergod och middagen var otroligt smakrik. Miljön var dessutom så fin och avkopplande. Vi längtar redan tillbaka! 🌸

Rummet med balkong var helt fantastiskt – ljust och mysigt! Det andra rummet var lite trångt, och avloppsbrunnen i duschen verkade tyvärr vara lite igensatt. Det var också lite störande ljud från gränden på kvällen, men i övrigt trivdes vi verkligen och hade en jättefin vistelse. 🌿

The most amazing Riad in the heart of Marrakesh. The riad itself was stunning, always clean and smelt beautiful. However the staff are what makes this place so special, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They are the heart and soul of the riad and make this place what it is! We stayed at Riad Babel for several nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place in Marrakesh. The riad is beautifully minimalistic, calm and very clean – a perfect contrast to the busy streets just outside. From the warm welcome with mint tea and sweets to the peaceful courtyard and small pool, everything was designed to make guests feel at home. The rooms are cozy, well-equipped and thoughtfully maintained. The breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying: traditional Moroccan bread, jams, eggs made to order, fresh orange juice and coffee. A special thank you to Driss and Amina for their kindness, patience and generosity – we truly appreciated your help and presence. You made our stay not only comfortable, but memorable. We would absolutely return and recommend Riad Babel to anyone looking for hospitality, quiet, and charm in the Medina.

People comment on the location feeling dodgy, you may feel this on the initial walk, but after one or two times, you’ll be happy and content this is a safe and kind environment

We loved everything about this Riad! Driss and Amina were so nice and made sure we had the best time. We felt right at home, also because the rooms look amazing and the location is great - they even have a lovely rooftop! We can not think of anything negative and are looking forward to come back soon.

Worst esperience of my life. I go to Marrakech since 25 years and never met such an unpolite and crazy owner. We had a very bad stay because the room was stinking form the bathroom. He completely stalkered us creating fake stories about us to justify his bad hospitality. He forced the very nice employees to write a fake message talking bad about us. On the top he asked us to pay a different tariff from what agreed on booking. I was basically forced to jump my last dinner in Marrakech to deal with him because he asked 40 euro more. The smell in the room ruined our stay and the shower was full of water. At the end is still sending private messages saying we have mental problems. Horrible I will report this also to the police. For last a part from my bad experience the riad is located very inside 10 mins walking from the Main Street so no comfortable and the terrace is completely out of usage. Rooms with nice furnitures but tight and not unique. Not raccomanded at all

Everything! Our host was so welcoming. The room was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. Our breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to have homemade dishes. It was so quiet - a true oasis!

we have just gotten back from the most beautiful stay in marrakech, this peaceful raid was in the perfect place close to the centre. the rooms were calming with different areas of the raid to chill. Idris and the lady completed the stay. they were so welcoming and accommodate to your every need, going above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect stay. such lovely people and they really made our trip so great! I would recommend having lunch or dinner one day of your stay as the lady home cooks traditional marrakesh food and it’s delicious! overall our stay here was perfect, no faults and we will definitely be back!

The Riad was in a great location. Close to many sights and places of interest. Admittedly the walk from where we were dropped off was a little unnerving in the dark but we were met by the lovely Driss who runs the Riad and he assured us that the area was safe. We saw no trouble and the locals were extremely friendly and we soon got used to walking it on our own. The Riad itself is a little oasis. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Anina who also works there made us feel so welcome and provided us each day with a delicious breakfast. Both Driss and Anina are the main reasons I’ve scored this Riad so high. They could not do enough for us over the duration of the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. They are an enormous asset of this delightful Riad 😌

We had an incredible time at Riad Babel! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Medina. While the vibrant energy of the Medina is right at your doorstep, once you step inside, the Riad feels like a serene and beautiful sanctuary. Amina and Idriss were fantastic! They were warm, friendly, and so helpful. It was a true pleasure meeting them. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fresh Moroccan baked goods, fruits, teas, and coffees. While we missed out on Amina's iconic homemade tagines (something we’re definitely looking forward to on our next visit!), the hospitality more than made up for it. Idriss, our host, was superb — he offered great recommendations, arranged all of our transport, and was always available to help with anything we needed. Babel itself was stunning. The modern and unique design, the peaceful atmosphere, and the spotless spaces — especially the lovely rooftop — made it an ideal place to relax. We highly recommend staying here, and we can't wait to come back (hopefully soon)!

Beautifully decorated, great sized riad. The staff Idriss and Amina are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. Great location, quiet neighbour but very close to lovely restaurants, shops, cafes and hammams nearby. We originally booked with another riad and that was terrible so booked Riad Babel last minute who were so flexible about everything. Rushing around we didn't really have time for lunch, Amina whipped us up a last minute delicious meal, it was a bit pricey but very very good.

Only a small item but good to be aware of, the riad is in charge of payment so we ended up paying around £23 more than the advertised amount due to different conversion rates which is not a lot and the riad is well worth it but was surprised when we were leaving. Don't let this put you off, it's just good to know.
