We hadden dit appartement geboekt maar door urgente renovatie werden we last minute naar een ander groter appartement overgeplaatst. De locatie was goed.

Het appartement was niet schoongemaakt voordat wij erin kwamen. Het bed was niet verschoond, de douche lag vol met haar, er lagen vieze handdoeken op de grons, vuilnis lag er nog, het huis was stoffig, ga zo maar door. Na dit te melden bij de eigenaar kregen wij geen reactie.

Locatie was top

Het was heel erg vies, alsof er nooit schoongemaakt wordt. Er was niet gestofzuigd en er lagen overal haren: in de douche, op het bed, zelfs in de koelkast! Ook overal vlekken en stof. Daardoor niet prettig om te verblijven. Bericht gestuurd aan eigenaar via booking maar geen reactie.

Non molto lontano dal centro

La posizione dell'appartamento geolocalizzata su booking che risulta essere a valle, non corrisponde all'esatta posizione dell'appartamento che risulta essere sulla collina Per questo abbiamo avuto qualche problema nel trovarlo. L'appartamento è risultato poco accogliente per i seguenti motivi: - la camera da letto presenta una profonda crepa sul soffitto. - Il letto è senza poggiatesta ed incassato in un armadio senza anta e quindi nei movimenti si rischia di sbattere o alla parete o all'armadio. Inoltre le lenzuola presentavano delle macchie e non coprivano interamente il materasso . - La camera da pranzo presentava complementi di arredi appoggiati come se fosse un ripostiglio. - lo scarico del lavandino della cucina presentava resti di cibo e sul lavandino stesso era appoggiato un canavaccio umido maleodorante. - Il bagno è senza porta e con presenza di odore di umido e chiuso, probabilmente emesso dalla lavatrice e asciugatrice. Sul pavimento del bagno vicino la lavatrice c'erano peli e capelli. Inoltre i vetri doccia erano pieni di calcare e lo scarico e' risultato otturato dalla presenza di capelli e altro che abbiamo dovuto togliere per fare defluire l'acqua. Consigliamo di rivedere arredamento e soprattutto pulizia della cucina e del bagno. Grazie Monica

As the name suggests, the views from the sitting room were wonderful - though a fjord rather than the ocean! And the location was good, with frequent bus services passing the door direct to the city centre and to the excellent Sunnmøre museum. The airport bus drops you around 500 metres away.

The apartment's decor was rather tired, and the bathroom was rather exposed to the street despite the blind. The big issue was the fact that the inside of the microwave oven was filthy, and some of the kitchen equipment was dirty, a problem that seems to be a frequent one when an apartment has no dish washer. Also, the owner strangely offered an airport collection service which he was unable to provide.

People upstairs were noisy for several hours. Bathroom window shade doesn’t cover entire window and only a curtain for a door. Kitchen faucet wasn’t attached so it wobbled all around. Hoped for early check in and host said it is usually possible but not guaranteed. I arrived at 1:30 and the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. We left and asked host what time we could expect it to be ready but never heard back. We just stayed out in the city until after 5:00.

The location is very close to public transport and only a short walk to the city centre. The views were amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We also liked little luxuries like having a fridge and microwave so we could prepare food ourselves.

The check-in process was very quick and clear, the location is in a short walk from the central part of the city and the city viewpoint, all the suggestions from the host were helpful

I guess the location was okey. It was not too far away from the city center, and relatively close to Aksla Mountain.

-washing machine and broken drainage system- We arrived and we heard the loud noise of the washing machine. During our stay we wanted to do our laundry but the machine makes big weird noises, we thought it was going to explode (it wasn’t even on the highest RPM setting …), the entire apartment was shaking. But that is not all, the drainage system is broken so all the water from the washing machine and the shower flooded the bathroom. We did inform the owner of the leaks, but he never got back to us. He just sent us some more advertising for nearby restaurants and his friends doing tours. -not cleaned after previous customers- The apartment was dirtier when we arrived than when we left because in order for us to stay we had to do a good cleaning session ourselves. The dishes were dirty, the tables and sink had food rests on/in it, there was a condom wrapper in the bedsheets,… it felt like the apartment didn’t get cleaned after the last people. -noisy location- The location was okey because we were kind of close to the city center but you need to take in consideration the two big roads that surround the apartment. We had other issues with the noise, we could hear the voices and the TV from the apartment above. -needs a lot of improvement- The apartment itself has potential to be an okey rental place… but there has to be some changes in order to be more comfortable and clean. There is no door between the kitchen and the bathroom, only a curtain… and the ceiling is cracking and paint comes off of it… the isolation could be better and the cables could be changed in order to be safer, especially in the kitchen with water.

Very convenient, had everything you would want for a solo stay of a week. Very comfy bed!

Beautiful view from the living room window. There was an electricity breakdown during our stay, we reported this to the host and he responded quickly by contacting the electricity service company and gave us a quick update on the issue.

More cups (there were only 2 in the cupboard ) and a door / curtain to the bathroom might have been useful.

Cozy. Near town centre . Walking distance from most attractions. The kitchen appliances were provided.

There were no towels set up. We had to take it out from the washing machine. The bathroom doesn't have a door. It's drain was clogged.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very cozy Apartment. It was so nice to have space around us for a few days because there are different rooms in this apartment. Everything was there regarding our needs. We could make our own food in the well equipped kitchen. It was also nice to have a separate lounge and dining area where we could sit a while and relax and have our dinner after tiring walking days in Ålesund. The owner send all the necessary info regarding check in code etc in advance so there was so worries. The apartment is only 900m from the Central Busstop and Ferry Port, so we managed without problems to walk with our wheel-suitcases. Kiwi Supermarket is just 100m away, so this was very convenient to buy our groceries. Thank you so much for our pleasant stay, Per-Kristian. We will recommend your place to our friends. Nice flat, conveniently located, cozy and rather spacious. The host provided very useful instructions and also a good guide of nearby places.

The cleaner didn't come after the previous guests, so we had no clean bedding and towels and the shower needed a good cleaning. As the host was pretty responsive, once he became aware of the situation he provided a reasonable partial refund for that inconvenience.

We loved the location and the view of the apartment. It is very warm and comfortable. Excellent communication with the host. We would definitely stay there again.

When we arrived we noticed the flat has not been cleaned. The floors still had dirt. So I tried to vacuum them but the vacuum was completely full and not emptied. There was hair on the table. The shower wasn’t cleaned either. Also, the owner never responded to my questions.

The apartment views were great. Nice and spacious. Easy to get in and check out. Wifi was solid.

The washer/drier was still running with the bed liner when I got there (i.e the mattress was just exposed...). Shower drain was not great.

No iron - or maybe we just didn’t find it.

Washing machine , washing powder on site. (Unfortunately the machine was in use, when we arrived. Been asked to empty the machine and to fold the linen of the formed guests.) Friendly information from host.

No privacy- no door between toilet and kitchen. A no go! Shabby house entrance. Not welcoming done beds. Much different to website. Furnishings without style and taste, thrown together crockery, not even 2 of the same glasses. View was overlooking a petrol station.

It was perfect, with a magnificent view. It would've been good to stay longer.

I liked that the view from the room was so beautiful and the room was well-equipped! The owner was so nice when we lost the way to the apartment. That was a nice stay :)

The address shown in the site was wrong, but the correct one was shown in the picture. Also, the curtain in the bathroom was too thin, which might be seen from the street..

Lovely view. Very comfortable bed. Roomy enough for 2 people. Kitchen well equiped for cooking.

A bit difficult to find as I hadn’t printed out the photo of the apartment building beforehand. However Per- Kristen replied very promptly when I messaged him after being unable to find the address. There is only a sheer curtain between the bathroom/toilet and the kitchen which we found very unsatisfactory. There isn’t really room for a door, but a much n heavier curtain would be OK.

Nice and cozy place near the center of Alesund, with great views from both rooms. Well equipped, with everything you need for a few days stay. Heating efficient, despite the cold weather in the apartment was comfortable. Separate living room and bedroom make living there very comfortable. Good wifi. We sent very nice time in this place, I highly recommend it.

Before arrival, ask the owner for the exact address, because the one from Booking does not give a good location, so we looked for the right building for about 20 minutes. You should look for parking in the area, e.g. thanks to the Easy Park app. The kitchen is very small, so it's hard to cook any larger meals.
