On a tout aimé, seul petit bémol, c est le côté accessible en pousette, plusieurs escaliers, pas simple avec bébé et pousette , mais le personnel nous a aidé.

The AC didn’t work it was pushing out warm air and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and had to pay for parking 10 min walk away even though on booking.com it states parking available

Ontzettend gastvrije ontvangst door hotel receptionist met duidelijke uitleg (naar keuze in het Frans of Engels). Wij kozen voor uitleg in het Frans en hij gaf zelf ook nog wat extra uitleg in het Engels en later nog een paar goede restaurant tips. De ligging van het hotel is meer dan perfect. Wanneer je naar buiten stapt kun je gelijk op een terras gaan genieten van de levendige oude haven van La Rochelle. Het prima ontbijt werd keurig op de afgesproken tijd op de kamer geserveerd.

Helemaal niets.

De ligging, midden in het levendige oude centrum. Parkeren bij Place de Verdun. Vandaar rijdt een gratis city-busje tot vlakbij het hotel. Vriendelijk personeel, schoon, goede airco, goede douche, wc apart, ook fijn maar wel klein.

Uitzicht op de binnenplaats. Geen daglicht te zien( we hadden kamer 3). Douchekleedje vol met chloorvlekken

De locatie was prima, aan de haven in het centrum. De badkamer was klein maar voldeed.

Wat tegen viel was dat er geen lift was en onze kamer op de 2de verdieping was. Het personeel hielp niet mee.

Beaucoup de bruit venant de la chambre au dessus de nous. La vue côté cour vraiment pas terrible. Les marches très hautes pour aller dans les toilettes et la salle de bain.

La situation dans la ville, les conseils du personnel concernant les restaurants que nous avons suivis et appréciés. Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre est très copieux et très bon.

Nous sommes tombés malheureusement sur des voisins de chambre très bruyants en pleine nuit et nous sommes rendus compte que l’isolation sonore n’était pas efficace.

Nearest parking was 700m away and not able to drop off luggage first.

The breakfast was a real delight, fresh. tasty, and more than enough for us.

Pas de parking et pas d'ascenseur (centre ville oblige !). Petit déjeuner un peu cher pour ce que c'était, et pas facile de déjeuner à 4 avec une si petite table et 2 chaises, il fallait se relayer 🙃 à refaire nous prendrions le déjeuner sur le port.

The staff was very lovely and accommodating. The location couldn't have been better. There was no elevator but the building is a heritage building. We knew this and got some exercise carrying our suitcases. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again next time we visit La Rochelle.

Très bien situé, sur le port Une chambre qui donnait sur une petite cour, au calme.

Il était indiqué sue le site qu’il y avait un parking, dans l’hôtel, ce n’est pas le cas. Nous avons dû nous garer dans un parking public payant à environ 15 mn à pieds.

nous avons passé 1 nuit dans cet hotel, tres agréable vis à vis de l accueil et des chambres bien rénovées tres propre, bref parfait pour nous,avec la vue pour la chambre qui donne sur le port vraiment agréable

Brilliant location in the heart of La Rochelle. Great views. Friendly staff and good size room. Room was quiet despite the central location.

The aircon only worked intermittently so at times the room was very warm.

The location is fantastic. Staff are very friendly. Good size room. Most excellent breakgast braught to the room is a worthwhile addition.

It has a lot.of stairs to get to the reception and to get to.the rooms and no lift as far as I could see. The entrance is in the pedestrian area. So not great if you have loads of luggage. But the staff are super helpful and had offered to help is with out bags. We were ok without help but other people might not like this at all.

Anna et Vincent ont été au top, l’avant séjour, l’accueil, les recommandations… tout parfait !

Les marches ! 🤣 mais c’est le prix à payer pour être sur le vieux port avec une vue aussi incroyable !

Everything was great, location was perfect and breakfast was lovely. Staff were extremely helpful and curteous. Bed and pillows comfy.

Room was a little cramped (room 17) and shower was tight, but still all manageable and hadn’t put me off from visiting again!

L’emplacement est fantastique, à deux pas des centres touristiques. La vue est superbe, la décoration soignée, moderne, et plutôt luxueuse, la literie vraiment très confortable, l’accueil charmant et serviable.

Un porte serviette pour le séchage des serviettes de toilette serait bienvenue.

L’emplacement et la propreté.

On était 4 et un jeu de clé pour 4 c’est pas possible surtout quand l’hôtel n’est pas tjs ouvert, et qu’il faut obligatoirement une clé pour entrer. Soit on doit sonner à un interphone, soit la personne déjà entrée doit descendre ouvrir. Le rapport qualité prix : je pense que c’est parce que l’on est passé par Booking mais le prix affiché devant l’hôtel indiquait un max 189€ pour une chambre vue cour et au delà vue port. On a payé plus que 189€ la nuit et on avait pas vu port.

Het bed! Echt fantastisch. En natuurlijk de lokatie. Je stapt uit de voordeur en je staat pal voor de haven tussen de restaurantjes. En toch heerlijk rustig slapen ‘s nachts. Frans ontbijt op de kamer voor €10 was ook prima. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, die ook goed Engels spreken.

Je kunt niet met de auto voor de deur komen om je koffers uit te laden. 10 minuutjes lopen vanaf Parking Sud (garage) of 7 minuten vanaf Ouest (niet overdekt, hoe gaat dat ‘s nachts?). Maar het meest vervelende: twee trappen op om bij receptie van hotel te komen en daarna weer twee trappen voor onze kamer.

Location was amazing. Right above the cafes at the old port. Good sound insulation so no problem with late night noise. We had adjoining rooms with an internal door which was great for a family stay.

Very steep stairs and no lift so if you have big bags it would be tricky. No fridge in the room.

- Le sol est sale - Pas de serviette pour les mains. - les 2 coussins sur 4 sont bizarres faitent du plastique. - chambre soit disant "medium" est minuscule. - le mec à l'accueil est gentille mais sent l'alcool. - Pas de salle pour la petit déjeuner. Ils proposent le petit dej à 11 balles servi dans la chambre sauf que en bas dans le bar il y a un similaire à 6-7 €.

This is a 2 star hotel and completely met our expectations. The location is superb, I would recommend booking a room at the back of the hotel so you are not disturbed by noise at night. The rooms at the back are much cheaper as well. The front rooms have a magnificant view, but you see that view as soon as you walk out the door. The staff were friendly and helpful. We only had the breakfast once but it was very good (Cold items only)

There are lots of steep stairs, two flights to get to reception. You are warned about this when booking, so this was not a problem. I think many of the hotels along the port front would be the same. If you are coming by car it is best to park in the Old Port underground park and then walk a flat and smooth path along the port front to the hotel, again this is the recommendation by the hotel. This is easier than trying to drop off bags close to the hotel or parking in the Verdun Park

Receptionist was incredibly rude. Air conditioner didn’t work correctly. Bathroom was so small had to leave door open. 3 flights of very steep steps to get to room.

Geen mogelijkheid om met de auto vlakbij te komen. Je moet laden en lossen in een andere straat. De auto moet je parkeren in een parking op een 10tal minuutjes stappen. Je moet ook met een trap naar boven voor de ingang en dan nog eens naar de kamer. Geen lift.

The location was spot on. The room was small and “cozy” with a small window, overlooking the court yard. It was air conditioned and had everything that was needed for one night stay though.

Stairs and parking were challenging. We’ve received so many emails ahead of our stay about the parking that they recommend, just to find out it is closed due to the International Film Festival. They could have updated us about this, so we don’t have to drive around place aimlessly.

It had aircon! A god send during a heatwave. And the location was great.
