Nice friendly staff from the moment we arrived, in the reception, the shop and then the bistro. Room set up was very nice
Pillows on the beds weren't very comfortable. Some small cleaning issues
It’s my second visit to the site and is just wonderful
Nothing
No park for the children to play. Only one you had to pay to play on.
A hidden gem so easy to travel to.
Ok
Room not like pictures
The breakfast was great
The man Snoring next door !!
Great location, fabulous food which was good value and fantastic staff and service
The motel rooms are lacking a bit of comfort and storage.
Area, friendly staff and the service was amazing.
Only 2 things I could fault. 1, dog walk was poor as the coastal path was impassible. And 2nd, please please get a hook on the patio doors in the moo tel as they were constantly slamming shut and had to use a chair to prop open all the time.
Bed
Personal mini fridge to keep things cool. Didn’t like the communal fridge for £130 a night
Great location Friendly & Helpful Staff Spotlessly Clean
There's nothing we don't like. We like the location, the facilities, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower in the ensuite is also spacious and has plenty of hot water. We like to go over to the bistro for breakfast and all the staff are happy, friendly and welcoming. We have stayed 3 there 3 times already and we'll definitely be back.
There is nothing to dislike.
Lovely place to stay, will definitely be returning.

Clean, felt new, easy to access, relaxed
If I’m being critical, sink in the moo-tel was a little awkward and small. Soap dispenser got in the way. No shampoo or soap in the shower was a small disappointment. Would have expected that.
Not much
Ants in room, emergency lighting kept us up most of the night, smelt of dogs.
Staff in bistro were really good. Meals were ok.
Dirty mats along side bed. Shower attachment couldn't be moved. Couldn't relax in room as people walking next to the window. Reception staff could have done better.
The whole place was amazing!
The decor was lovely, suited the theme. Clean and tidy.
It was noisy at night (room 11) poss from air-con unit. Bright green emergency light made it difficult to sleep.
Great modern location with brilliant facilities to entertain both adults and children
Curtains on patio doors didnt quite block out light and green emergency light bright at nights making it hard to make the room dark for sleeping children.
Excellent location. Very good rooms. Plenty of parking. Slept very well. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing.
Excellent facilities and location. Highly recommend this set up if you want peaceful, and rural. 10 minutes max from good places to eat in Aberaeron.
Nothing.
Did not leave keys in key safe as arranged. We had to sleep in our car
Themed decor was fun. The whole place was professionally run. A lot of money and effort went into creating.
Late breakfast start (08:30) would have preferred an hour earlier.
Excellent all round.
Nothing
Love the quirky cow theme. Environmental features were appreciated. Food was yummy. Service was great.
Nothing
We had an accessible room which was ideal for us, air con , which was needed in the heat, and outside use of a shared patio area with table and chairs, which was ideal for our pup. The shared kitchen area is also ideal for meals and drinks with visitors
Getting into our accommodation was awkward with a wheelchair, with double fire doors,
The staff were lovely, the room was nice.
Nothing in the shower to hold wash items etc! Personally not good as I have mobility issues with bending!
Quirky
Nothing, will definitely be back
Love everything about it. Good food, friendly staff, superb room. Quiet and comfortable. Would never leave.
Dog wash is just a shower...bring your own everything.
Location and set up of the room was excellent. Very dog friendly. Excellent air con. Everything you need. Patio table and chairs right outside your patio doors. Breakfast just a short walk away in the main building. Car parking right outside your accommodation.
Nothing
Such a lovely find and we really enjoyed our stop over here. The aircon was a godsend and the restaurant is a lovely addition too. You won’t be disappointed
Nothing
A good basic stay that met our expectations. information given prior to the visit made everything clear. The staff were great, really helpful and receptive towards us. they were courteous and extremely polite to everyone and accommodating of any changes you wished to make. The room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable enough. the air conditioning worked very well which helped us sleep. the shower could have been better, it didn't appear to have a temperature control and you needed to keep switching it on - as you would in a leisure center showers, however it did it's job of providing enough water at a temperature that I found ok. There was good choice of breakfast and it came quickly.
The shower could have been better, it didn't appear to have a temperature control and you needed to keep switching it on - as you would in a leisure center showers, however it did it's job of providing enough water at a temperature that I found ok. The weather had effected the front door to the accommodation so it was extremely difficult to get in and out of, but when we told the reception staff they said they would get that looked at immediately.
Nice rustic decor and very clean. Friendly staff and somewhere to walk the dog
Awkward to wash in sink
Really easy to find…well signposted
Nothing
Nicely decorated, food was nice at the restaurant.
We had a disabled room because it was the only dog friendly room left which was fine, but i did think the mirrors would be too high up for someone in a wheel chair and also the shower is stuck to the wall it could do with a hose that you can bring down as its spraying the whole of the bathroom rather than the body and hard to get soap off yourself. The patio areas could do with a fence around so you can leave the door open for dogs as there are other dogs around and the patio area is an open space makes it hard to keep an eye on your dog.
Close amenities.
Would have liked chairs in room.
Good location, between new quay and aberaeron
Nothing. I liked it. Maybe the bedding in the room could be newer, it was quite worn out.
Everything!
The location was great, room was comfortable and clean and the food I tried in the bistro was excellent. It was also very dog friendly. Loved the air-conditioning.
Became quite noisy on the Friday night when it was more full. Doors banging, loud noises etc till done 11pm Dogs were offlead in campsite area on a couple of occasions I walked through and they chased us.
Meeting lovely people
Needs blackout blinds
Lovely place to stay with everything you need.
Everything
Bathroom and shower
We really enjoyed the restaurant
Love the eco friendly ethos. Such a good use of recycled materials.
Breakfast was good and could have upgraded coffee etc
Very unique and great attention to detail. Very much on theme and brand 👌
Nothing
We loved that we could use a kitchen, make picnics and chill out in the dining area of the Moo-tel. This place is a great surprise; the whole site feels spacious and able to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. On rainy days, we sat in the cafe chatting to friends who were camping. The staff are great and obviously enjoy working there. Can’t praise it enough!
Nothing!
Nice place, location good for Aberaeon on the bus which comes to site.
Was on the T5 bus route so you can easily get to New Quay or Aberaeron. We chose to walk to Aberaeron via the coastal path, was amazing. Facilities are great, brilliant to have the communal area with a fridge. Comfortable bed, great shower. Bar and Restaurant onside were brilliant, food was amazing, probably the best steak we've had in a long time.
Having to leave. We will stay longer next time.
I liked the decor
The bedding was really poor and the curtains were really bad at keeping out the light! It was like full daylight in the room at 5.30am…also no shower gel in the shower,no hairdryer and a £100 a night…overpriced
Very clean. Nice decor and vibe. The whole environment was very pleasant. Nice communal area. The on-site restaurant was really good. Food was excellent and a great ambiance. Dog friendly with a dog walking field. It is a great Motel ( as advertised) . Great for 1 or 2 nights.
Found it hard to wash in the sink, the hand wash was in the way. The shower only stayed on for about 10 seconds at a time which was annoying and you couldn’t regulate the temperature. The bed was abit hard for us.
Food was good though variable portions on different days for breakfast.
Location just off main A road, HGV vehicle noise during the night due to incline of the road. Doors in the accommodation had strong closers on the, difficult for people with limited mobility to open and hold open. As a result also difficult for them to stop the doors banging closed. Accessible wet room shower, unable to control flow, on or off. Unable to direct water so caused panic as difficult to be able to see and breath. Toilet seat had plastic bits sticking out so nightdress caught on them and nearly caused fall on a couple of times. Hand basin too small as awkward cleaning teeth and washing. Room on full view as people drive in to site, and people able to walk past, have to close curtains that then cuts down the light.
The style and decor of the rooms
Too many kids LOL. Then again I am a miserable goat and it is an awesome place for kids!!!
Loved the old school shower! The communal kitchen / sitting area is an amazing addition, especially for those with young children. Loved the handmade bed, it was beautiful.
Unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress has had its day.
Stayed for 2 nights. Clean ,tidy .rooms and outside spaces. Food was good on the night we ate in the Restaurant. Staff were pleasant. We are older couples but anyone with children were well catered for as far as activities go. We saw adults and children kayaking. Play areas , play barn. There are some cows but unfortunately we didn't see them. It was easy to go and visit some different places as it was quite central.
We stayed in the Mootel and the banging of the corridor door was the only downside. Also the rooms looking onto the carpark could do with screening to give some privacy when sitting outside having a drink. The rooms on the otherside are ok as they look onto a grassed area. Would be good to have a couple of small chairs in the room so you don't have to sit on the bed. On the whole the place is very good and we would return.
Location, food from the restaurant, the choice of television channels available, the unique decoration of the rooms, comfortable bed
We could hear next door very clearly.
Quirky rooms. Nice communal area. Something a little bit different. Nice to have small table and chairs outside each room (a small 'pateo' area outside as all rooms had pateo doors. Lovely farm shop with reasonable prices and lovely produce. A relaxed vibe in the bistro with live music one evening. Didn' t need to vacate rooms until 11 which is great esp with children and invalids Friendly lady cleaning the moo-tel - helpful Gentleman behind reception two evenings kindly offered help with wheelchair. We saw the Manager in a few places on site - very friendly and sociable. Chatting with the children, helpful in the restaurant. Good, observant staff at the Crazy Cow trampolines. Very clean and safety a priority. Something different for the family in such a convenient and central location (by car) Close to Aberaeron, New Quay, Llangrannog etc. Llanerchaeron is very close and worth a visit
Staff were mostly very good. One member of staff in the restaurant was very abrupt with us Rooms requested to be close but we were in opposite corridors One of our rooms was the adapted room so awkward to go back and forth to check on my imobile Mum the other end of the corridor Ramps etc generally good but areas need improvement
When visit my Mum in Aberaeron I often stay here. It’s reasonable, comfortable, has great facilities. There’s a kettle in the room but also a shared fridge/eating space for people. It’s impeccably clean. Across the car park is reception, a farm shop and the huge pub/restaurant which is open all day. It’s always really friendly.
The showers. One temperature, with one of those buttons you have to keep on pressing.
Everything, accommodation, staff, location.
Nothing to record
Restaurant was excellent. Location very good for visiting New Quay, Aberaeron and beautiful beaches of Penybryn, Aberporth, Tresaith and Mwnt. Bus stop on site if you don't want to drive
Excellent
All good
All the staff were helpful and really friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. Patio furniture and communal kitchen were great bonuses. Great to have the restaurant open all day and a great place to meet local friends. Very dog friendly and good walks round and from the site. All areas were well maintained.
Very minor niggles re the accessible room shower which has an auto shutoff after only a few seconds and doesnt drain very efficiently. I'm not disabled but water running up to the toilet could be a problem for some.
clean friendly
no wear to put your clothes
Only booked because it was advertised with EV chargers. !!!!NOT WORKING!!!!
Fantastic
Nothing
Lovely and clean. Nice location.
Terrible bathroom. We had to move rooms from what we originally booked as we had a dog. So we were asked to stay in the accessible room. The bathroom is a wet room but the shower is fixed. So it aims at the toilet and the sink which made showering a little tricky. The shower spray doesn't even cover the shower seat which defeats the object of being accessible. Apparently this is a known issue , if we had known this prior to moving rooms I would not have agreed.
Everything was generally good, the food is also good, the menu didn't really match our personal preferences but unfair to criticise that really, the food we ordered absolutely fine with good service.
The bed wasn't super comfy but not terrible at the same time. the room was lovely, good value for money.
Location was goo. d. Breakfast was very good. Didn't have an evening meal. Staff very helpful.
N,A
Loved the decor and the room we had - the bed was so comfortable. Nice to have a little table and chairs outside the French doors to enjoy an evening drink. The breakfast at the Bistro is wonderful and the staff each morning were lovely
The only drawback with the push button shower which didn’t stay on very long and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted
Great rooms good location
Nothing
the room was themed perfectly, it was clean, had all the necessary appliances and was easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and informative and the on site activities were vast.
The curtains weren't very thick and due to the outdoor street lighting the room wasn't fully dark.
Room was well decorated and loved the rustic theme of the decor.
The bathroom was a wet room type room. Unfortunately the shower would spray water all over the place including the toilet. There was a cheap mop provided but due to the poor shower head it took a good while to mop up the floor after your shower. Then you’d have to dry your feet after every time you went back into the bathroom, or wear shoes which I did. The first night was fine but the second night I couldn’t get to sleep until about 1/1.30 due to a droning noise coming from the ceiling. I thought it was the air source heating pumps outside but after going outside about midnight they were all off. This was a droning noise above the bed as you could feel the vibration on the ceiling. Not great when you’ve travelled for work and just wanted to sleep.
Location.
Breakfast was fair only as toast was just hot bread very lightly toasted. Lunch was bland. Too much goose pooh on veranda which could easily have been hosed off.
Staff were lovely, accommodation excellent. Food was brilliant.
Nothing
Good location, nice people.
No toiletries, no hair dryer, a bit cold in the bathroom.
Had no sleep fir 2 nights beds are solid
