Reviewed Dec 22, 2025Firstly, the check-in time was at 12, but I arrived at 1, and the room still wasn't ready, so I had to wait for 15-20 minutes. 2ndly when I went to room, gyeser wasnt working. Although they asked to shift in another room, the next day they asked to reshift in the previous room and that time my schedule was very hectic as I came for important work. And after I shifted, realized that the bathroom door couldnt be closed. Also the bedsheet and blanket was dark in colour and it seemed dirty.

The curtains. Get some nice colors and fabric. Homegenized milk has to go; makes the tea utterly distasteful.

If you are a solo traveller , you will have a good time connecting with the other people in this cozy place. Will surely pay a visit next time when I plan to come to guwahati.

The kitchen wasn’t yet operational but the staff were quite friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and very well cleaned. I had a nice and comfortable stay here.

If you are planning to come at Kahapara, Guwahati, I will suggest that this place is very beautiful and safe for living, with your friends and with your family. Reviewed Dec 7, 2023I have stayed in a lot of travel hostels over the years and I must say Mezenga is one of the best in terms of budget, cleanliness, hygiene and quality. It has a quiet ambience, helping, considerate and well behaved staff. Dorm is spacious, beds are clean and basic amenities are available. The location of hostel is a bit far from the city centre but there are conveyance readily available to reach the place. Locality is good, safe and there is a market around the corner, hence a lot of food options are available at a walkable distance. I would highly recommed a stay at this place to others.

Reviewed Nov 19, 2023The location of the hostel is great because it has seamless traffic free connection to airport and Interstate bus terminus. It also strategically located for going to meghalaya basically it is just 2 km away from Shillong taxi stand. The manager Arun is a very intelligent guy and he has interests in International relations and Geography. We had a great conversation..so I would recommend it to everyone who are travelling to Guwahati
Some construction is going on on the upper floors..so some noise ...so It will end few months later I guess

Reviewed Nov 13, 2023Everything was good.. I went there to stay for a night, cz next day I had an Interview to attend at IIBM,ghy It was a wonderful stay there. Everything was clean and includes the amenities- Geyser, RO water, self cooking facility... And theres that guy(i forgot to ask his name), he is very friendly.
One thing I dint like about the stay is that, In the night there were mosquitos, and No GoodnightOil, AllOut was provided.. 🥲
