Chic Private Studio 5 mins from Airport and shops

The studio is VERY well stocked. We actually needed nothing. Very good location, and a lovely surprise with 2 free coffee cards for the Cafe around the corner. Will stay here again for sure 😀

The road noise was a bit disturbing and the pillow a little flat for a side sleeper. Otherwise excellent

Spacieux et très confortable, dispose de tout ce dont on peux avoir besoin, gentillesse de l’hôte également. Un grand merci nous avons pu nous reposer avant notre journée de voyage le lendemain 😎

Quiet despite road outside, close to restaurants, shop etc. Liz came and introduced herself which was lovely. Apartment was fully stocked, we were pleasantly surprised! We were able to bring our small dog also and yard was fully fenced. We will definitely stay again when back in Christchurch!

Le logement est à proximité d'un boulevard avec les arrêts de bus. Il est facile de se rendre à l'aéroport (15 min) ou au centre ville de Christchurch (30min) en bus. Il y a aussi un supermarché, une laverie, un coffee shop et d'autres petits commerces à moins de 5 min à pied. Le logement est dans un quartier résidentiel donc c'est assez calme malgré l'axe routier très fréquenté. L'hôte est très sympa et est passé nous saluer pendant notre séjour. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pour notre premier nuit en Nouvelle Zélande après plus de 30h de voyage.

La literie est trop moelleuse mais je crois que c'est une particularité anglo-saxonne (vu dans les autres logements pendant mon voyage) Il y a une porte dans la petite cuisine qui est fermée mais qui donne sur un autre logement, il est possible d'entendre un peu les bruits des autres personnes mais rien de très gênant. L'axe routier peut être gênant pour les personnes sensibles mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles c'est Ok.

Spacious, spotlessly clean and oh, so comfortable! The little kitchinette was generously supported with condiments, jams etc such a nice touch.

Cant say i didnt like anything. Didnt meet any other guests or the hostess.

Off-street parking secure and easy to access. Accessing the lock box to gain entry to the room was easy and hassle free. Room was comforted for our arrival; curtains drawn, heat pump on, cold water in fridge. Thank you! Lots of amenities & extras provided - hosts have thought of everything! Faultless. Fully fenced section & big garden space - great for pets! Host is very responsive on messaging function through booking.com app

The place was perfect for our needs for the night. A cosy wee place, close to the airport, extremely neat and tidy.

The property had everything my partner and I needed for our stay. We were in Christchurch to attend a family event and catch up with family and having a good accommodation to come home to each day was great. The location was great being so close to the airport and the shops just down the road.

Perfect breakfast selection - top, top, top! (Hot and cold food and drinks etc) Cozy and paying attention to detail (showering equipment, nice bed, different towels, mirrors etc.) nicely closed curtains, very quick and welcoming support etc)

Very good everything - only probably a bit difficult to park if already to cars are parked, and carrying luggage to the accomodation with the pebbles outside

We konden hier met 3 personen overnachten en dat was prettig. De bedden en de douche waren goed. Het ontbijt lag al klaar en was voldoende en gevarieerd. Buiten was ook voldoende gelegenheid om lekker te zitten.

De accomodatie ligt dicht bij een doorgaande weg en je hoorde continue de auto's langs rijden. We moesten met oordoppen slapen wat geen probleem is maar overdag kon je het geluid niet uitzetten. Als je overdag op pad bent is het dus geen probleem.

We liked the comfort and cleanliness of the studio. Liz was always on hand to help and it was great being able to take our wee dog as well.

Loved it !! Lovely lady let us move in early then the checking time, loved the treats for my gf who needed a sugar boost because she is diabetic and needed something when we hadn’t been to the supermarket

Property was spacious, homely and clean. Conveniently located near the airport and there were plenty of amenities. Liz was very generous and even let us borrow her charger.

This lady goes the extra mile with breakfast, treats, even for the pooch lol such a cute wee place to stay, thank you for your hospitality.

No kitchen sink, couldn't get the aircon to work, felt a little stuffy as it was warm. We brought our fan which helped.

I come to Christchurch regularly and this has been the best dog-friendly place I stayed at. The place is clean, spacious and comfortable and has a nice fenced garden. The host is lovely and helpful. I’ll definitely stay again. :)

Really well set up and comfortable studio. Everything provided in the room was very thoughtful and made me feel right at home straight away.

Slightly noisy from main street traffic, but it was minor in that only heard closer to early in the morning.

The host was very friendly and flexible with drop-off times.

It was only an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight, but I appreciated the little time I had there to rest and relax. The location is convenient to the airport.

Great selection and options for breakfast. Easy walk to shops, supermarket and food. Close drive to airport, shopping malls, and Antartica centre. Lots of space for my dog to run around in the well fenced yard. Single bed kindly provided for my child traveling with me. Lovely, friendly host Liz, who was available to assist if needed :)

Spacious studio unit attached to the main house. The unit has two narrow steps between the kitchen and living and bathroom areas. Very good off street parking. Great location with a mall across the road, and is centrally located to all arterial routes and airport. Really appreciated the host, Liz greeting us on arrival and the unit being warm and cosy on arrival. The numerous 'treats' that Liz provided in the unit were thoughtfully considered.

Would have preferred to have had a sink in the kitchen rather than having to use a small bathroom toilet basin. Others have commented on this in their reviews also. Liz did offer to do our dishes but we were comfortable washing dishes in the plastic bowl provided.

We had a 2 night stop over before flying home @ 6am. It was great value for short stay the shops, Cafe and Tavern are within walking distance Airport 5 min drive away. Liz was a fantastic host, friendly and accommodating.

This property is in a great location, close to the airport and easy to get to. It was very quiet. It is well set out, and I was very comfortable. Highly recommend for solo travellers. I felt very safe. There is off road parking available although I was in and out so left my rental vehicle parked on the road. It was quite safe. Liz is a lovely lady; she came and welcomed me, and we had a bit of a chat. I felt very comfortable with her. Breakfast was simple but yummy. Yoghurt and fruit were left for me. There were also selections of cereal and tea/coffee etc. I was going to have a cookie, but got sidetracked and realised I never had one.

I'm not really sure what could be improved on. I was only there for one night. It was a terrific stay.

Great little studio a short distance from the hotel. Host was friendly and check in was easy. The studio is small but clean, with fruits, drinks, yogurt, breakfast cereal for a very satisfying breakfast! Water temperature and pressure was good and bed was comfortable (electric blanket available when we visited in March). Check in was easy and there is a good supermarket + places to get food within a 5 min walk away. Most surprisingly, there was no noise from planes at night even though the studio is so close to the airport!

The only thing that was a little inconvenient was that there is no sink in the small kitchenette so you have to wash the cups etc you use in the bathroom sink which was on the other side of the studio and quite small. As a result although the kitchenette is very well equipped I can't imagine cooking a whole meal in it (and didn't)! The host is very nice though so I'm sure if you need to do some massive cooking + washing something can be arranged!

Wonderful,cosy place to stay. Close to everything we needed,love Bishopdale many happy childhood memories especially of the Elephant park across the road and now thanks to Liz (host) friendly local knowledge I have bought the 'Elephant Park' book😊.which by the way must be very popular as the local book shop said it keeps selling out!!
