The breakfast was poor , it was more like a deli breakfast, I had to ask for my coffee three times, when it came it was poor coffee, sausages were dry and tough ( deli standard) very disappointing- the juice was also cheap it wasn’t freshly squeezed. For almost 300 a night we expected better quality.

I placed cigarette ends I had collected rather than discarded during the day into the bin in my room and got a warning about smoking in my room. I don't know whether I was more upset about getting the warning (no matter how friendly the tone was) about a possible fine, or the fact that they thought I would be stupid enough to get caught if I did do it! A real bummer. Almost ruined my stay. Having said that, I would stay again.

I never complain or leave a bad review but how can this be a 4 star hotel!! -tables were dirty in the restaurant and for breakfast -4/5 flies flying around landing on our dinner -I was giving completely burnt toast! -Musty smell off carpet

The rooms seem to be an afterthought. Small, Outdated furniture and decor, ripped wallpaper, old doors , outdated bathroom. Paper thin walls so everything on the corridor is heard. Set alarm for 9 but need not have bothered as a cleaner decided to wake us at 8 by clinking glasses, brushing against skirtings and hoovering in the room opposite. Why? Why? Why? If the room was empty, there would be no need to clean it at that time and it would have been too early for someone to have left. The ladies in another room were also forced out into the corridor to see what in the hell was going on. I'd just come from a trip around Ireland and stayed in amazing hotels in Donegal, Mayo and Galway This place was more expensive than any of the others and the least impressive by a long way. I could accept being woken by revellers but not by staff I left my email address with the lady at reception who said the manager would be in touch. As expected no one has reached out. Avoid

A number of guests, including his partner were ill during the night. They all had the chicken. This ruined the event for them as they left early and she was sick during the night. Furthermore, their shower only had cold water, and this was the same for their friends in the adjoining room.

Very much style over substance. Food looked great but was very middling. Soundproofing nonexistent. Check in was just signing of a registration card, no information on breakfast or WiFi was provided. All looked beautiful but really not much going on when you actually had a look at it
