Location was as expected. Bed was comfy, nice towels, good shower.

The bedroom is in the loft, and after recent warm weather, was very hot to sleep in (even with windows open). A top sheet to allow us to sleep without the downie would have made things more comfortable. I don't understand why we were not allowed to use the kitchen for anything other than tea and coffee. Bizarre and unnecessary.

A bit tricky to find.

Would have scored 10, but a centre light in the room would be helpful & naff pillows! Other than that a very nice place to stay in Kildare. A secure unit behind electronic doors, key code to enter. Our own entrance into communal lounge/kitchen, stairs to Arkle room. Key found on covered entrance way as we drove in. Courtyard area with space for parking, table & seating area. Arkle is a spacious room, built into roof space with roof windows. The shower ensuite is gorgeous & again loads of room. Comfortable bed, although the pillows were flat, so needed 2 & even then waking & having to rotate them for some support. Milk, Tea & coffee available in the kitchen. No food prep allowed, despite having a large cooker & extractor??? Felt very relaxed & comfortable :)

Meid ei aidanud ka see, et majutaja oli saatnud majutuse aadressi ehk iiri asukoha koodi, mis kahjuks eksis samamoodi nagu Google Maps vale asukoha näitamisega. Lõpuks, pärast korduvat suhtlust majutajaga ja tund aega otsimist, õnnestus leida sissepääsutee majutuse juurde. Nüüd selgus, miks Google Maps ei suutnud majutuse asukohta õigesti näidata - kuna majutuse maja pole peatänava poolt nähtav ja asub teiste majade taga, sisehoovis. We only stayed one night and only needed somewhere to sleep, so I can't comment on facilities, but it was a lovely place to stay. Nice and private, spaceous and well decorated.

There was 2 bedrooms in our cottage, we only used 1 so had a shared kitchen and living area with other guests.

Excellent location, beautiful interior and extremely comfortable beds with gorgeous bedding. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The owner was lovely and made us feel extremely welcome. Would recommend in a heartbeat

Such a beautiful place to stay, quiet and safe, close to Kildare town. This was my second year staying here and I wished I could have stayed longer. A little oasis of calm with a lovely nod to some greats of Irish horse racing.

The bedroom and bathroom were nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were on a cycling trip and were pleased that we could leave our bicycles outside safely.

We had a few problems with check in as Rachel did not appear to have received notice of our reservation which had been made the day before so had not sent us the directions to get into The Stables. Also, we were disappointed that we could not really use the kitchen except to make tea/coffee.

Rachel was such a great help from the start to finish .. always available to help. Beautiful spot Would definitely recommend.

Advice to follow GPS led me into a housing estate whereas the property is accessed from the main road

Beautifully decorated, cosy, quiet accommodation close to the centre of town. A shared living and kitchen space was spacious and had all accessories including a little electric stove which added to the whole experience of a relaxed and welcoming space.

The decor is very stylish and in keeping with a conversion from stables. The furniture and lighting is lovely and everything was very comfortable. It was also lovely and warm.

I woud have liked to have use of the kitchen, particularly if I was staying more than one day. I thought the fire was a stove burner but is in fact an electric feature.

Location near the town. Good parking, secure. Spacious room. Large bed. Excellent shower.

Accomodation was very comfortable and clean. Bed was big, room was warm, decor was tastelful and inviting. The room was very quiet and there was plenty of secure parking on site. Location is a short walk into Kildae town centre and very close to a supermarket should you need anything. Communication with the host was always prompt and clear. I'd be happy to stay again!

Some of the photos relate to other units in the accomodation so check if the unit has all the faclities you need.

Loved the property. This place has the coolest entrance ever! Room were fabulously finished. Very comfortable. Owners communication was brilliant also.

The only downside was not being permitted to use the kitchen/cooking facilities.

Beautiful, spacious accomodation, with everything you need. Great shower and bathroom, full length mirror, big TV, comfy bed, great kitchen facilities, fire in the lounge to curl up by. Lovely host, couldn't have been more helpful. Perfect location. Short walk into town, petrol station and supermarket close by. Off street parking. Have stayed in far more expensive accomodation that wasn't nearly as nice. Bargain. If you need a stay close to Kildare or surrounding area, highly recommend.

The accommodation was spotless. There was access to the kitchen area we didnt use it but it was there for use. Very convenient.

The room was cold on arrival but not a major fault.

The images don’t suggest you are sharing the kitchen, sitting room. We were in a room completely separate from the sitting room/fire and two other couples were staying in that building. Technically you have access to this area but it feels like you are intruding on their space if you enter - very uncomfortable and disappointing given what we expected from the images.

Property built to a very high standard,great character

The Stables are really beautiful and peaceful too.

Absolutely stunning, cosy welcoming house, lovingly decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in "Shergar" and it was a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed which truth be told we were loathe to leave, The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a great shower. We only stayed for one night but would be delighted to return again.

We did arrive late in the evening and it was difficult to locate the entrance at night.

As two 80 year olds we were concerned with the distance from the Town but we found no difficulty in walking in and out on 5 occasions. The Tack Room was excellent. Rachel was very attentive to our needs, including plasters when my wife had a small cut finger. Rachel also offered to take us in and out of Town if required.

The only blip was getting access but this was because Booking.com provided a mistaken mobile number for myself. Thankfully a young Attendant in the nearby MACE Shop was able to make contact with Rachel and saved the day for us.

It was so cosy and absolutely spotless. The room was gorgeous with everything you needed. Everything in this property was so clean and done to a high standard.

This is a hidden gem. We loved the decor of the accommodation and all the tea and coffee facilities. There was even milk provided in the fridge.

The view out the window of sheagar room wasn’t a nice view

The room was wonderfully decorated, spacious and cosy. The position is perfect and free parking is available

The light gets in too much and the room upstairs is too warm during the summer. The duvet had a stain and the moquette as well, which is a shame in such a nice and new place. It’s not clear how the rooms are assigned to customers: we have been told to get a room but then other customers arrived before us and according to them they let to choose the room with the garden so we had to move in the room upstairs (not so comfort when you have heavy luggage). All rooms should be priced the same, considering that it’s a sort of first come first served.

The property is gorgeous. It's been done to a high standard and the room was very clean. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the staff were available via mobile for any questions.

There was nothing we didn't like about the property. We would suggest a little more information ahead of your stay informing you of how to get into the property, location etc and if you are in the room beside the communal area details on how to access it.

The room was clean and comfortable, secure parking and walking distance to the town centre.

If there had been fresh coffee and maybe some pastries to start the day off, that would have been a nice touch, but all in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
