Beautiful! Brand New Apt old town

This apartment is fantastic in a perfect location between Getsemani and the Old Town. You can walk everywhere, that is ideal for a day exploring the beautiful streets and colorful buildings of Cartagena and also going for a night out in Getsemani. The apartment is extremely comfortable and nicely decorated, the AC is very good (extremely important), Wifi signal worked really well, the bed super comfortable and the 2 bathrooms (one on each floor) perfect for a couple. The building has 24 security and is close to the port where you can get on a boat to explore the islands (I recommend 'Luxury Beach Club' in Isla Rosario and 'Paraiso del Sol' in Isla de Tierra Bomba).

Not specifically related to the apartment, be prepared for the heat, Cartagena is very hot!!! During the days make sure you go to the beaches and islands where temperatures are cooler... explore the old town in the early hours of the day or late afternoons / evenings.

The host was easily reached and responded to all queries. She was amazingly responsive. The location of the apartment was between the historic centre and Getsemani. There were lots of restaurants, bars and activities. The AC worked well, the balcony and the upper deck were very appreciated. We used the communal laundry facilities.

GPS was very difficult in this area because google maps uses street names that are numbers and Cartagena has actual names posted for the streets so it was very difficult to navigate.

Inside the old town, near all the important attractions. The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. A great plus is that it has 2 restrooms (upstairs and downstairs)

The pictures do not do this place justice. The apartment was SPOTLESS, cozy, and perfect for a short stay. Perks include all the kitchen and bathroom supplies. The floor-to-ceiling windows are ideal to let lots of natural light in, and the views are amazing to wake up to. The balcony is nice to relax and people watch. Lastly, the receptionist and host were very helpful and easy to communicate with. I wish I had stayed longer! Will definitely book again.

Great location. It's literally a two minute walk to Getsemani. A 5 minute walk to Plaza de La Trinidad. And a 7 to 10 minute walk to the clock tower. Do your homework, look at a map, walk around and you will see that you are in a prime location. I love to walk when I travel to a new city so for me it was excellent. Everything you need is close by, restaurants shops, all the prime touristy areas. The building is under construction, so yes there will be a little dust and noise, but to be expected for a brand new building. Everything was as advertised, 2 showers, 2 bathrooms and the AC was right over the bed for nice cool air. At night it does get noisy, music will start blaring from everywhere. BUT, if you wanted peace and quiet you should not have come to Cartagena! It is a noisy city. I slept like a baby. The bed was super comfortable, so no problem for me. The pool is a little shallow for swimming, but for taking a dip and cooling off it is perfect. I used it several times. There is plenty of space on the rooftop for pictures and city gazing. They have 24 hours security, and the neighborhood felt relatively safe. But there are some homeless and street characters outside - but this is true throughout the city. Overall a great apartment for the price.
