I am disgusted and disappointed with Booking.com for giving a very good rating to such a hopeless and lousy hotel which is a third class place which doesn't have proper approach roads to reach the hotel and is situated in a 10 ft lane with open gutters. What is the basis of your rating on this hotel and you are going to spoil your reputation if you have such hotels in your list.I recommend you to Black list this hotel.It is my worst experience of my life.

The property is very close to temple and very good staff. If you are looking for stay near temple then this is the best place to stay. Rooms are specious and fully cleaned and no one has room like this in these area. If you are looking for pay at property then don't do that. Do an advance booking because the day we came the price rised too high due to heavy demand and I saw lot of people returning from these locations wirhout getting any room. But Bobby secured the exact room and hasselfree check in without a single issue. Book them well advance before 2 weeks so that you will get rooms.

I have nothing positive to say about this place. I didn’t keep much expectations since we were coming for Shri Jagannath Swami’s darshan, but this “Hotel” was worse than the cheapest possible lodge ! Beware, Keep your expectations extremely low, in fact towards heavy negatives if you chose to stay here ! It was so unbearable that even though we booked it for 2 nights, we left the second morning itself ! Pathetic !

Ugly dirty rooms, dirty floors, stained and dirty washroom, stained toilet, smelly towels, basic things missing like water glasses, kettle etc. when asked for glasses, we got 2 glasses of different kind, still stained and dirty ! No complimentary water, had to pay for it, and the staff compelled me to pay it at the very same time, didn’t even let me drink it ! Same way, full ent was collected in advance. However on the second day itself, when we couldn’t take it anymore, we decided to leave , even though we paid full just the night before ! Terrible !

I had a very pleasant 2-day stay at Bobby Residency in Puri. The property is just a 5-minute walking distance from the Shri Jagannath Temple, which made our visit extremely convenient. Even before our arrival, the owner personally called to check our location and guided us to reach the property without any hassle. The room was spacious and clean, and the washroom was quite large with 24-hour hot water availability. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay — he even assisted us with our luggage and arranged a vehicle for our return journey to the airport. Because of the easy accessibility to the temple from the stay, we were able to take darshan three times in just two days. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-managed stay, and I would definitely recommend Bobby Residency to anyone visiting Puri for temple darshan.

Spacious room, moderately clean and wifi worked fine

No towel, a light that was on all night in the room and being asked to pay extra for cleaning (i had only been on a short stopover and was very clean and tidy) and it felt outrageous to be asked this on leaving a clean room. This felt like being ripped off. I was then pushed to 'leave a tip' for the cleaner. The price of the room and the fact that it was not even that clean when i arrived plus that in all hotels anywhere cleaning is included felt dodgy. I write this here to warn others. I did leave a cleaning tip and might have left more had this sort of pushiness not occurred...

Room is basic like a Lounge, the name of the hotel Bobby premium is really different what its actually looks like , I pay 2000 for this room which is waste of my money.. Rs 800 to 1000 is enough for this Hotel room but if you not get any other option then go for it.. The staff behaviour is good & helpful but hotel is very low quality. The Only best part is the Location is very good just 2 mint walk to The jagannath temple, this is the only thing I like 🙏

Only thing it was closer to the temple, everything else was pathetic and horrible.

There was nothing to like about this property. Washroom was like Indian train toilets, there were cockroaches in the room and they will give you one towel for your entire stay, no matter how many days you stay there. And the picture of the rooms shown to you at the time of booking is fake.

Absolutely nothing!

Dirty sheets (brown stains), bad A/C, noisy, mold in the bathroom, cockroaches everywhere, poor electricity (there was a point in which we couldn’t even pack because none of the lights worked), and inaccesible (taxis are not allowed, so you have to take a rickshaw to and from it). They also turned on and off the lights remotely whenever they pleased and for no reason. We thought our phones were charged and when we woke up they weren’t because they had turned off the power. On top of all, the manager “arranged” for a cab to pick us up from the property to take us to the airport (supposedly because it was at 6 am the taxi was going to come in front of the “hotel”), which never arrived and the manager never picked up the phone. We almost missed our flight due to it. We’ve been traveling for years and to so many countries and this is the worst place we’ve ever stayed at. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to move to another hotel and were forced to stay in this dump of a place. There are many good and affordable hotels on the main road, very close to the Jaganatha Temple, where you’ll be treated with dignity and respect. Do not believe the good reviews, we’ve learned they are all fake! Hope this helps!

Nothing good, except the staff was polite.

Location was worst, very clumsy area. Facilities were horrible, bathroom was smelly and not clean at all. There were cockroaches everywhere. Bedsheets and pillows had stains. No kitchen facility, no sealed water bottles provided. Television was not working. There was no elevator for higher floors. Overall it was completely different from the photos provided on Booking.com Would definitely advise not to book this.

We had an excellent stay at Bobby Premium. BAPI the Manager is superb. Very helpful guy and he will do everything to make you happy. Very controlled property. If you do want to stay near Temple then it is best one. Much rommended.
