That they draw from my international card one day before check-out without consultation, as I wanted to pay with a local card.

Location

Poor facilities, bathtub taps are broken. Balcony doors were not working and broken. Showers not operating. Late check in wait for Four hours.

Food, specially 2 States buffets , but breakfast is good.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Der Privatstrand war gut erreichbar, leider aber nicht sehr sauber Das Personal war immer sehr bemüht!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat hier nicht gepasst, vorallem, wenn man das Hotel mit dem dem Mayfair Lagoon in Bhubaneswar vergleicht, welches als 5-Sterne Hotel klassifiziert ist. Lt. Booking.com ist das Mayfair Waves auch als solches klassifiziert, aber man muss hier einige Abstriche hinnehmen. Das Zimmer war großzügig, aber leider nicht sehr sauber. Der Teppichboden sollte mal wieder gründlich gesaugt werden.... Die AC hat nicht richtig funktioniert und entweder war es zu kühl oder zu warm. Eine durchgängige Regulierung war nicht möglich.

L’emplacement . Le personnel bienveillant et aux petits soins . Les équipements 4 ventilateurs plus clim . Le petit déjeuner buffet gargantuesque d’un kilomètre pour ceux qui aiment les aller retours . La terrasse et le bruit des vagues ( chambre premium ) la parc la piscine la salle de sport avec serviettes et eau le massage payant . Des petits détails qui font la différence . Accès plage par grille fermée à 20 hrs .

Le resto et la qualité prix des repas notamment le barbecue à éviter . ATTENTION ceux qui réservent via booking sont victimes d’arnaques Chat booking . On vous demande de cliquer sur un lien pour confirmer dans les 6 heures avec son numéro de cb sinon la réservation est annulée très anxiogène . Comme d’hab booking ne peut pas régler le problème .

It’s amazing location, private beach, perfect breakfast, and service.

Rates are slightly on the higher side. Even during pick summer off season time.

Lots of mosquitoes and flying insects, in the restaurant and buffet area. Otherwise good.

Big rooms

They were doing a lot of construction in public spaces throughout most of the public areas. The price was quite high for the stay and not reflective of this situation. My booking included breakfast but it did not come through and there was a lot of difficulty navigating that, though they eventually came through. But it was stressful. They did my laundry and charged quite a lot but DID NOT WASH it, they simply IRONED IN the spots and stains when I was very clear it needed washing to have clean clothes for the next leg of my journey. Not only was this an expensive mistake but I was without clean clothes until I took it to someone else who washed them. Basically a lot of common stresses while traveling in India but at the level of hotel this is and the cost of it, it was not up to that standard in some ways. The room was beautiful, the beach and pool were beautiful though and people were nice. And it's Puri! So all of that is good.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Loved the cleanliness and elegance of the property. The private beach is clean and right at the hotel.

The food, location and hospitality of the service staff is unparalleled. The attention to detail on design and the fittings and furnishings were immaculate

The swimming pool and bar was closed and there was construction going on from 8am to 11pm almost. There was no mention of this during booking and the prices we paid at USD 250 per night++ was not warranted for a period that was no interruptive. Even with all doors and windows closed the noise was very disturbing.

The sea facing rooms were extremely beautiful. The staff's were very polite and the thing which I like most is the on time service.

This property is certainly at par with any of Mayfair property or services. Even food options were limited, Even during the permitted time buffet was removed. The place was majorly booked for marriage and the entire lawn and swimming pool area was used for the same not available for other residents to use. Mayfair should not be taking booking when they have marriage happening at their premises or atleast must disclose this before accepting booking.

Location is very good. Variety in foods, Both breakfast and dinner is very good, multiple choices and quality food.

They need slightly improvement in maintenance mainly like towels are get old. Some small things need to look.

Everything was satisfactory. Especially location of this property.

Food was good. However more attention is needed to the sweets. Those were not upto the mark.

Foul smell in the toilet. Locker and intercom wasn't there in there, later fixed but still malfunctioning. At the end it was fixed.

The place desperately needs an upgrade. The feeling is a little depressing especially in the restaurants and the entrance and common areas.

Did not have breakfast. Great location

Excellent stay. The room was good. Liked best the ambience and food. Also the staffs were very courteous. Ashok who served us was excellent in service.

Not well maintained. Lot of wood work and cementing work to be done in the exteriors and bathrooms

Location is great. Staff go out of the way to provide excellent service. Priya at the front office and service staff like Pinto , Amar and Sukanta go out of the at to serve you. Buffet breakfast was good.

Buffet dinner was pathetic.

We booked 2 nights with 5 persons including a toddler. One of the room that was given to us was room no -1105. This room when you entered in wasn’t value for money. They mentioned it was a king bed but that was a queen bed compared to the other room. One side of the bed was broken was which they took that part out and put it in that room only. The queen bed wasn’t good enough for 2 adults and one toddler. The bath-tub in the shower was completely crack and I feel so disgusted by looking at that. We didn’t use the tub though. The couch they have inside the room I feel like they just cleaned it from the visible areas. We found lots of dusts and foods from the couch. By looking at the inside of the room we felt like we made a wrong decision. Food was super good. In house service was upto the mark.

Pros: 1) The resort location is outstanding 2) There is a private beach, 10 mins walk away from your room 3) The food (buffet spread for lunch and dinner) was great, mutton was particularly very good 4) The service from every staff at the hotel and restaurant was near perfect, can't thank enough everyone at the hotel 5) There are cabs and ricks always standing below the hotel, so taking rides anywhere around the state is very easy

Cons: 1) The hotel is a three star hotel but Booking.Com claims that it is 5-star, that is incorrect information right away 2) The hotel is surely overpriced for being a three star hotel 3) Facilities are quite average, hardly anything to do for my 5 year old kid

Access to the private beach. The location from Jagannath temple. Lot of taxis and Auto at the hotel. Easy to reach main market in 7 mins.

It should have 3pm checkin and 12 noon checkout with extension for a couple of hours. We had to request a lot and got one room extended finally.

Staying at the suite I had to pay for the breakfast. Staff was not courteous.

One of the standout features of the hotel is its fantastic location, as it is situated right on the beach. Having direct access to the beach made my stay even more enjoyable, and I truly appreciated the beautiful views and the convenience of being so close to the water.

However, there were a few aspects of my stay that were less than ideal. One of the disappointments was the delayed pool access in the morning. Unfortunately, the cleaning process took longer than expected, and as a result, guests were unable to use the pool during the morning hours. It would have been more convenient if the cleaning could have been completed on time, allowing guests to enjoy the pool early in the day.  I had lunch at the hotel's Samudra restaurant, and I have to say that the service was disappointingly slow. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the expensive food prices. While I understand that pricing can vary from one establishment to another, I found the cost of the food at Mayfair Waves Puri to be quite high.

Hotel space is very congested.For welcoming and greeting guest is not good.As concerned the value of money is worst.

The staff are money grabbing in the sense that my wife was not feeling and so for breakfast she asked for tea and porridge a la carte...the staff charged for the full buffett...and the front reception staff would not adjust the difference...so 900 rupees fior one biwl of porridge and tea.

Food, staff attitude and the loacation

Stray dogs in the property and late check in in one of the rooms and lack of international food choices.

It was amazing tour. Facility was perfect more particularly the location being just touching to beach. Staff was courteous and food was delicious.

Room didnt have a great view. We were expecting sea view but didnt get it. Got it changed and got partial sea view only. Roof outside balcony had lot of pigeon poo. Breakfast was chaos and wasnt well organised at all. Had to keep on looking for waiters for them as they were not enough of them with too many customers.

Yes property and behaviour of hotel management is awesome...but view of sea is blocked by tree and park of Govt.... please try to reduce the tree Hieght for better view...Food is also awesome
