Namal Apartelle - Free Scooter & GYM access

I just want to say that it is a wonderful setting and a lovely hotel; I would recommend it to any guest. I stayed for two nights and then extended my stay by another two days. Everything there was fantastic—motorbikes are free, the breakfasts are good, and massages are available daily, allowing you to shed all your stress and worries. Thanks for everything.

Het ontbijt was prima met diverse keuze mogelijkheden. Ontbijt is wel 200 meter verderop in het Resort, te bereiken via een landweg. Daar is ook het zwembad. De kamer was prima..gelukkig had ik een "upgrade" van ze gekregen. De oorspronkelijk bedoelde kamer 9 had ik echt niet geaccepteerd, dan was ik weggegaan. Kun je met goed fatsoen niet verhuren zo'n hok vol schimmelgeur en geen raam. Maar ook in in de verkregen studio kun je beter de kastjes ook maar dicht laten. De gratis scooter is een pre. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het ontbreekt aan schoonmaak in totaal Apartelle. Bovendien zat ik daar wat alleen, niet echt gezellig. Booking.com zegt "nog maar eentje verkrijgbaar" of is dat toch room 9 ? ..verder stond alles leeg. Er is geen security en er zijn weinig toeristen in de hele wijk. Lio Beach is toch vrij ver wandelen en dan is de gratis scooter handig.

Rien, absolument rien de positif

L’emplacement, c’est à l’autre bout dû monde pas du tout pratique. Personnel pas aimable, la climatisation ne marchait pas j’appelle et je leur écris pour prévenir aucune réponse donc on le temps qu’on se change on était dans un 9m2 à suer et transpirer on pouvait à peine respirer. J’ai vu une punaise de lit dans la chambre et quand je demande à quitter l’endroit et me faire rembourser on ne me répondait pas. Donc je vais à l’accueil de leur hôtel à 5 min à pied et là le monsieur s’en fiche complètement; aucune empathie, ils ont envoyé soi disant quelqu’un pour réparer la clim mais pas du tout ça n’était pas fonctionnel. J’ai dû les menacer et prévenir le département du tourisme pour abus afin qu’ils finissent par me rembourser mais c’est triste de devoir en arriver la ce sont des gens pas honnêtes ne réservez surtout pas chez eux !

Fully equipped apartment, great location, few minutes from lio beach and the airport and 5-10 minutes on bike to town square. Basic kitchen but it has everything you need to cook. Free scooter and gym access was definitely a big plus. Staff were extremely helpful and provide you with all the information and recommendations you need. Thank you

The aircon is a little dated so it does make a bit of noise, something to note of you're are a light sleeper, the staff provide ear plugs in the room however. I know power blackouts are a regular thing in Philippines but i had multiple blackouts within 20 minutes sometimes one after the other. Unfortunately can't do much about that. Very minor things. I still highly recommend this place

Located in a area that was not great for me. The Scooter was needed to go everywhere. We paid a premium price. I would have stayed closer to LIO beach. AC was noisy. I got many Mosquito bites and I have no idea how they were getting into the room.

Al principio nuestra llegada fue un poco caótica: nuestra habitación (tiny room) muy pequeña (es cierto que ya nos advirtieron antes de ir pero el problema fue que el aire acondicionado no enfriaba (nos dijeron que estaba roto) y decidimos asumir el cambio de habitación a una superior pagando unos 3000 pesos más simplemente para no morir sin tener aire acondicionado. Esta nueva habitación era naturalmente más grande y no estaba mal. El aire enfriaba muy bien. Luego nos dieron una moto con la rueda pinchada, que por suerte se dio cuenta un señor aleatorio de la calle porque si no, hubiéramos hecho un trayecto de 30 minutos con la rueda pinchada. Al comunicárselo al personal, rápidamente nos cambiaron la moto. El desayuno también está bien. Además viene con una bebida tipo Shake y eso se agradece. Por último el tener un free Massage diario también está genial y se agradece mucho porque la masajista es genial.

La mañana de nuestro check out nos dimos cuenta que nos faltaba dinero, al rededor de unos 15000 php (pesos filipinos) y 100 euros. El día anterior entraron en nuestra habitación para limpiarla mientras estábamos haciendo un island hopping y justo después de eso nos faltaba el dinero. Nadie más entró en la habitación y nada estaba revuelto, pero sacaron el dinero de un sobre que teníamos en la mochila. Al comunicarle al personal lo que nos había ocurrido intentaron contactar con la persona que entro a limpiar pero estaba en su día libre y no les contestó. Luego nos animaron a ir a la policía para poner una denuncia. Nada más. No nos ayudaron en nada más. Si quiera nos pidieron disculpas. De hecho, antes de irnos y después de haber perdido casi 300 euros, nos hicieron pagar el extra de la habitación (unos 3000 pesos). Todo está situación nos frustró mucho porque no pudimos solucionar nada y nos tuvimos que ir de el nido a coron sin nuestro dinero y sin ninguna garantía de poder recuperarlo.

Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, great menu variety and delicious food, very safe and private property, cute little dog and cat on property, scooter, pool, massage and laundry services available, well maintained and beautiful rooms and finally reasonably priced.

Loved this property, we stayed in the budget apartment however it was a good size for us as a couple, the bed was comfy, the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was amazing and so was the pool area! Was amazed to find out we had a free 30 minute massage everyday which was also amazing! Great great stay

Jag gillade allt med boendet. Personalen var så trevliga och ödmjuka, städningen var perfekt, jätte rent, frukosten var god och läget var också perfekt, nära till allt. Ett mycket stort plus är scootern man får inkluderat, lätt att ta sig till olika stränder och sevärdheter.

A decent set of apartments. The best attribute of this place is the staff (particularly Ryan, who helped us organise activities and airport transfers), breakfast and the scooter that comes with it. The rooms are okay, clean but very standard. The location is pretty good. You are a little bit away from main town, but it's a 10 min scooter ride away. It's nice if you want to escape the hectic centre and be a little closer to other areas of the island (Lio beach, ~25 min ride to Nacpan). Overall, would recommend if you are happy to be out the way a bit and are not looking for the comfort/luxury that would come with a bigger hotel/resort.

The location is a little remote, in the sticks a bit, so you are exposed to wildlife. We had a lot of ants on the bedroom wall so had to move the bed to the other side unfortunately. It was okay once we adjusted to it. Other than that, the only other critique is the shower pressure isn't great and the WiFi is intermittent. Otherwise, it is pretty much what we expected.

La habitación numero 5 era enana. Muy pequeña para 2 personas, apenas podíamos movernos. Si es para una noche bien pero estuvimos 3 y encima cancelaron tour por mal tiempo lo que hizo que estuviéramos mas tiempo en la habitación y se nos hizo muy agobiante. El desayuno bueno pero poca variedad

Beds were very comfortable Great that you get a scooter Takes 2 minutes to walk to breakfast area from Apartments. Seen a previous review saying 10minutes. No idea how it took them that long. Nice having chromecast in the room to connect up Netflix through your phone. Nice small pool and lie out area with shade. Response time from the host was great Allowed us a late check out as nobody was checking into the room on the day!

Was not a huge fan of breakfast options. 12minute drive from town but the scooters were a huge help

The bed was comfortable and we slept well once the noise settled down. The massage service was excellent – truly relaxing and the highlight of the stay. Breakfast was also good, with a decent selection and fresh options.

Apartment did not match the photos on Booking.com. The walls had visible mould, the sofa and walls were dirty, and the bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell. The noise level around the property was extremely high and we even saw a rat outside the entrance area. Overall the apartment felt poorly maintained and far below what was advertised.

Και αυτό που δεν μου άρεσε καθόλου ήταν ότι ενώ αφήσαμε κάποια λεφτά στο δωμάτιο για την καθαρίστρια ήρθε ο άνθρωπος που δούλευε στο μπαρ για να ελέγξει το δωμάτιο για τσεκ αουτ και τα έβαλε στην τσέπη του , θα έπρεπε να τα προσέχουν αυτά οι ιδιοκτήτες γιατί είναι κρίμα

L’accueil à notre arrivée a été très mauvais, sans considération ni solution face aux problèmes rencontrés. Nous avons pourtant dû rester 8 nuits dans cet appartement, malgré les conditions décrites ci-dessous. L’appartement était très sale à notre arrivée. Il est situé juste à côté d’un générateur qui se déclenche toutes les 5 minutes, rendant le séjour extrêmement bruyant, de jour comme de nuit. Le logement est très mal insonorisé, très sombre, et la salle de bain présentait de la moisissure, ce qui pose un réel problème d’hygiène. Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude durant les deux premières nuits. De plus, l’eau de la douche dégage une forte odeur de fer, ce qui est particulièrement désagréable. Durant notre séjour, des travaux ont été effectués directement dans notre chambre sans notre autorisation. J’ai pourtant expressément demandé que ces travaux soient reportés après notre départ, soit 48 heures plus tard. Malgré cette demande claire, les personnes sont revenues effectuer les travaux contre notre accord. Les travaux réalisés ont été mal exécutés, entraînant une fuite d’eau qui a coulé sur le lit et les oreillers, les trempant entièrement et rendant l’espace de couchage inutilisable. Lors des petits-déjeuners, la propriétaire échangeait avec plusieurs clients se plaignant de l’inconfort et de la qualité de leur chambre. En revanche, lorsque j’ai demandé à pouvoir parler à un responsable concernant nos problèmes, on m’a simplement orienté vers une serveuse/réceptionniste. La propriétaire ne nous a jamais adressé la parole directement, malgré la durée du séjour et la gravité des situations rencontrées. Nous avons également été témoins d’une situation où un autre client a exprimé son intention de laisser des avis négatifs sur TripAdvisor, Google et d’autres plateformes. Suite à cela, une remise de 10 % lui a été accordée et il a été changé d’appartement.

Great stay overall. The service was consistently warm and helpful, and the maids did a really good job throughout our visit. The location was okay — convenient enough for what we needed. We also loved the scooters; they made getting around easy and fun.

Comfortable and nice as well as the employees are very friendly

There were instances that the ceiling was leaking when it’s raining and a couple of power trip offs with the electricity.

The free scooter and gym (very basic gym) was nice and they replied fast to our messages on booking

We received the smallest appartment which looked nothing like on the pictures. There is also a resort where the breakfast takes place (which looked quite nice), however the appartment we got was super small, the ac very loud and the wall to the street was only a metal wall and we could hear all the noise from outside. The staff (one lady) was not very friendly and it seamed like she did not want us there at all. We booked the free massage, however nobody told us that the massage takes place in your room. So it was super weird as our room was so small and the massage on pur bed was not very confortable. I would have expected that this would at least take place in a massageroom.

Breakfasts were provided each morning which was great over the holidays, the free bike also made the amenities on the island very accessible. Any requests were completed quickly by staff

Das Apartment war im Untergeschoss und daher sehr dunkel und ohne Sicht (nur gegen einen Zaun). Auf den Bildern sieht es deutlich freundlicher und moderner aus. Das Stromkabel der Klimaanlage war äußerst wackelig, sodass sie oft ausfiel. Insgesamt funktionierten viele Steckdosen nicht. Wir hatten zwar einen Fernseher mit Chromecast im Zimmer, konnten ihn aber daher nicht nutzen.

Unlimited drinkable water, 30 minutes massage was really nice.

First of all - the AC was so loud we couldn't sleep. We asked the manager and unfortunately he didn't help. Second - if you don't have a driving license with you, they won't let you use the scooter. Absolutely nobody has ever asked us in Asia if we have a driving license... But ok, it was our fault not to have it with us. Breakfast was average. When we specifically asked to have breakfast at 7:15 (we were leaving at 7:30) and ordered the day before, we still waited for 15 minutes and almost not caught our bus to 3 days boat trip. We also asked if they can arrange a Tuktuk drive to city center and nobody came for us. We used "laundry service" and all our clothes were still damp and it smelled weird..

Die Unterkunft war sehr Sauber, gut und ruhig gelegen. Das Bett ist sehr weich, was für mein empfinden super war.

Als wir ankamen war die Klimaanlage defekt, das war im ersten Moment nicht schön! Wir haben aber sofort ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Die Tür ließ sich nicht gut schließen und uns ist der Schlüssel abgebrochen, dafür mussten wir leider auch noch bezahlen. Das hätte für mich zum guten Service dazugehört. Des Weiteren bekommt man keine frischen Handtücher, was auch nicht so schlimm ist, aber wenigstens das Bodentuch im Bad hätte man austauschen können. Das GYM ist nicht so leicht zu finden. Klimaanlage ist wirklich sehr laut, ich habe mit mit Ohropax geschlafen.

Globalement, cet hôtel peut être un bon choix, si on fait le lien entre les services proposés, et le prix. L’hôtel vous propose un scooter gratuit, presque nécessaire, au vu de la localisation, un petit déjeuner à la carte, l’accès à la piscine. Le personnel est très réactif lorsque vous les contacter via booking.

La chambre plutôt spacieuse, pourrait être encore meilleure si la propreté était améliorée, bien qu’un service de ménage, soit proposé chaque jour. Concernant la localisation de la chambre, la 8, j’ai envie de dire que c’était une catastrophe. Nous étions collés au générateur d’électricité, ce qui fait que toute la nuit en constant, un bruit de moteur atroce s’invitait dans la chambre. Malgré le signalement, l’hôtel ne peut rien faire, car l’usage du générateur reste plus que tout nécessaire à El Nido. Résultat, sur trois nuits totales, un cumul de 10 heures de sommeil, et je suis généreuse. De plus, la climatisation est également un problème : elle fait un bruit si important, que vous hésitez également à l’allumer. C’est dommage, car l’hôtel a tout pour être sympa lorsque vous êtes de passage.

The employees are great, specially Reshel, the massagist. The breakfast is really good - barista coffee, good variety, always served with fresh fruits. The offering of massage and a scooter is a differential indeed.

The room is simple and quite dark. The main challenge was communication, as you can only reach out via Booking.com. Receptionist is not always in the main hotel (basically the same person works on breakfast, reception, welcoming, etc - it is understaffed for sure). The only phone number available is from the hotel owner in Israel, so not really an option for easy communication. Also, if you stay in Namal apartelle, you will walk/use a scooter to the main hotel for breakfast/pool/etc, which is about 10 minutes walk in a non-paved area which can be muddy if it rains. They offer the scooter as it is about 10-15 min ride from the center.

Lo scooter gratuito è un ottimo servizio per la comodità e rende anche autentica l’esperienza al El Nido, ci siamo divertiti moltissimo a guidare tra i local. In palestra abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza meravigliosa: lezione privata di Kick Boxing e possibilità di utilizzo della sala Pesi. Abbiamo adorato anche il cibo del ristorante su richiesta lo chef cucina qualsiasi piatto del menu sul momento e nell’orario che preferisci. Ultimo ma non per importanza, i messaggi di Rachel sono fantastici( e anche questi gratuiti!!!). Piscina bellissima!! Se volete vivere un’esperienza a El nido con ogni tipo di comodità questo è il posto ideale!

Il condizionatore fa un po di rumore ma siamo riusciti a dormire benissimo.

Incredible breakfast, many tasty options and good quantity. Confortable bed, hot water (it was our first time in Philippines). The 30min massage is a really good point and also the motorbike. The staff and the owner are amazing.

It looks more luxury in the photos. It all right, but just to let you know. The location is not the best however the scooter is a good point.

I had first booked for only 2 nights because my plan was to look someplace else once I got to the island, I ended up staying my whole 8nights at namal because the property was safe , clean, secure and at the perfect location close to lio beach and only 4km away from town, the free scooter also made it easy to get around on the island

People must understand that when arriving to the island do not expect conveniences that are found in the city, there’s nothing to not like , actually the room was really classy and luxurious for an apartelle .

Tout s’est super bien passé, bon débit d’eau, eau chaude, bon petit déjeuner, scooter compris et fonctionnel. Massage jusqu’à dans la soirée directement dans la chambre.

Muy amplio y limpio cuando entramos. La cama es muy cómoda y el cuarto de baño también, con una ducha muy amplia. El desayuno exquisito, tiene una zona de resort donde se desayuna y hay una piscina de la cual puedes disfrutar.

La segunda mañana que despertamos, nos despertamos con una carretera de picaduras de lo que parecían chinches. Buscando entre las sábanas sí que encontramos varias arañas muy pequeñas. Por otro lado, si buscas algo cerca del nido town, este no es tu sitio. Está a unos 15 minutos en moto, pero muy cerca de Lio Beach. Y en una zona muy tranquila. En nuestro caso, teníamos incluida la moto en el precio. La primera tarde cogimos la moto que nos dejaron cuya llave estaba doblada y fuimos hasta la playa de las cabañas. Cuando aparcamos la moto, el trozo de llave que estaba doblado se quedó dentro del bombín de contacto, imposibilitando que pudiéramos volver a arrancar. Llamamos al hotel y enseguida vinieron con una moto nueva. Nuestra sorpresa fue que al marcharnos el último día, no nos quisieron devolver la fianza porque nos dijeron que la llave nueva había costado el dinero de la fianza y que la culpa era nuestra. Estuvimos discutiendo por teléfono con el dueño, el cual no se presentó personalmente, y finalmente le indicó a su trabajador que nos devolviera toda la fianza, menos 50 pesos… nos pareció un poco feo, no era por el dinero, sino por el hecho de que no consideramos que haya sido culpa nuestra que nos den una llave doblada.

Desayuno incluido buenísimo,además nos ofrecieron un masaje de 30 minutos gratis en la habitación y te dan la opción de una motocicleta gratis para moverte por la zona,a unos 7/10 minutos en tuk tuk del aeropuerto,personal muy amable y te facilita tu estancia en todo momento con su disponibilidad. Con paquetes de excursiones mas acceso a un gimnasio,con ventilador en el salón y aire acondicionado en la habitación.

The place is spacious and perfect place for work because of strong wifi. You have enough space and quiet since it’s away from the main town which is I really like. You can even go for a run going to Lio beach in the morning and have your wonderful breakfast after! I love their food by the way, and Coffee and the free scooter. It was a perfect place for is. I will definitely never forget it when I come back

Small glitch in electricity every night but not big of a deal. Im more concerned about their appliances tho. But the rest are perfect.

The apartment was a great size, nice comfortable bed and great having 20litre free bottle of water to fill our bottles. Having the free motorbike was great and also loved our free massages, free breakfast was amazing! Thank you.

The walk to the resort for breakfast was very muddy, don't wear good shoes to get there! The water pressure from the taps in the unit was quite bad, the water lines need to be purged to remove trapped air. But the shower was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast is great, it was nice to have a scooter to drive around. Everything is clean and up to date. As a guest of this studio I could use the pool of the other place they own, very nice!

Very hard to talk to staff, the property was nothing like the pictures, and the rooms were half way down the street from the pool & gym.

It's a shame that Booking is hosting this place. They don't have basic sanitary requirements, running potable water is filthy yellow.

The bed was too uncomfortable. The toilet is too small and uncomfortable. The power always goes off and on every night. The hotel is cheaply made and definitely not worth the money you pay.

We stayed here for 1 week and loved the location, 7min to Lio beach/ 15min to El Nido. Breakfast was super good (everyday French toast / oatmeal w yoghurt and fruits), looking forward to breakfast every single day! Owners are super nice and will help you out with any questions and always ready for a chat. There was some construction happening next door but most big stuff was already done so not much problems regarding noise.

The bed was too small for two average-sized Europeans. The kitchenware provided in the room was insufficient for cooking. We had an apartment next to the road, and it was a disaster — it felt like we were sleeping right on the street because the walls were so thin, the sound insulation was practically nonexistent. The nights were far from quiet, with constant motorbikes and barking dogs. The air conditioner was extremely loud and placed directly above the bed. Pictures were better than the real room.

The apartman is super clean and is like on the picture, very kind staff and the scooter is game changer!

The AC is a bit loud but my partner had no problem sleeping with it
