The interior is gorgeous! The loam walls in combination with the soft colour choices give such a peaceful impression. The host is very kind and helpful, the street is nice and quiet and it’s easy to get to the city center. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

It is really clean and nice

L'appartamento è molto accogliente, pulito e silenzioso. Fa parte di un complesso di più appartamenti ricavati all'interno dell'abitazione del proprietario ed è situato in una zona moderna e tranquilla, a circa 35 minuti di tram dalla stazione centrale di Amsterdam. Il proprietario è stato gentile e sempre disponibile. La camera e il bagno sono spaziosi, arredati con mobili nuovi, funzionali e ben tenuti. Nel complesso, la struttura è curata e rappresenta un'ottima soluzione per soggiornare nei dintorni di Amsterdam.

L'unico aspetto negativo è che il bagno è privo sia di aerazione naturale sia di un sistema di ventilazione meccanica. Inoltre, l'appartamento non è completamente indipendente, poiché è stato ricavato all'interno dell'abitazione del proprietario. La posizione, pur trovandosi in una zona tranquilla e moderna, risulta piuttosto distante dal centro di Amsterdam. Raggiungerlo a piedi richiede circa un'ora e mezza di cammino, per cui il mezzo più pratico è il tram, la cui fermata si trova comunque a circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento. Anche i principali servizi, come supermercati, bar e negozi, sono raggiungibili solo con una passeggiata di circa 20 minuti. Nel complesso, si tratta di un appartamento curato, pulito e confortevole. Tuttavia, la distanza dal centro e dai principali servizi, insieme al fatto che l'alloggio non sia completamente autonomo ma inserito nell'abitazione del proprietario, sono aspetti che personalmente mi porterebbero a scegliere una sistemazione diversa per un futuro soggiorno ad Amsterdam.

Eine sehr schöne in ruhiger Lage. Würde sofort wiederkommen. Frank war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und bei jeder Anfrage schnell erreichbar.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hosts were informative and friendly. The tram stop is at the end of the street, for easy transportation throughout the city. There is a wonderful restaurant at the other end of the street.

Ładna łazienka w miarę przestronna. Okolica spokojna, ulica przypomina aleję z pięknymi drzewami, szerokie chodniki. Niedaleko jezioro. Dobry dojazd do centrum tramwajem, kursującym dość często, blisko do przystanku tramwajowego.

Bardzo mały pokój, 2 małe stoliczki. Na szerokich chodnikach mieszkańcy ustawiają stoły, gdzie w weekendy biesiadują dość głośno do późnych godzin wieczornych.

日本からの投稿です。3泊させていただきました。 お部屋は大変可愛くて、大変気に入りました。 オーナーさんが手作りで作られているお部屋のようです。とても愛情がこもっていることがわかります。 冷蔵庫あり、コーヒーや紅茶も自由に飲むことができます。お菓子なども用意されていました。 オーナーさんも、良い距離感を保ってくださって、大変リラックスして過ごすことができました。 チェックアウトの時間より早めに到着しましたが、 お部屋を準備してくださっていました。 チェックアウト後はスーツケースを預かっていただき、ホテルに戻ると、スーツケースを下の階に下ろしていただき、玄関側に置いてくださっていました。お優しい心遣いを感じました。 私はこのお家をとても気に入りました。またいつかアムステルダムに来ることがあれば宿泊したいです。

良くなかった点は何もありません。

Meiner Freundin und ich hat der Aufenthalt bei Frank sehr gefallen. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, familiären Umgebung nahe am Wasser und ist sehr gut mit dem Tram erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist sehr gross und man kann die Freude von Frank, ein Gastgeber zu sein, in der stilvollen Einrichtung spüren. Auch dank seiner offenen Art haben wir uns direkt wohl gefühlt und wussten mit seinen Tipps, wo wir guten Apfelkuchen essen können!

Very cute house, built and decorated with love to details and nature. Friendly owners, caring and accurate. Location is beautiful, although a bit far from business and recreational places, but readily accessible by team.

Frank was one of the best hosts we've had - proactive, informative, responsive, kind and understanding! Very clear and easy communication. Great location - 15 minutes by tram from Central Station. Quiet and peaceful residential area. Comfortable and cosy room that includes a mini fridge as well as a spacious private bathroom. Everything was very clean.

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns sogar zwei Stunden eher aufgenommen hat. Kaffeemaschine funktioniert und auch Dusche und WLan. Jederzeit wieder.

The owner/host (Frank) was warm and very welcoming. Proximity to tram 26 (a few minutes walk) which took less than 15 minutes to get to downtown Central train station.

Shower water pressure could have been better but was adequate. Window was left open since there’s no a/c (not really needed in April) but noise from neighbouring homes could be heard until after midnight.

The place was very welcoming and the larger bedroom came with a massive bathroom, it felt more like living in a home rather than a hotel. Frank also gave us a lot of complimentary food and items such as the 2-legged plugs which we really needed. He also provided us information regarding transportation.

The beds were slightly smaller than expected but it was manageable.

Fantastic room, very warm and comfortable. The whole B&B is made with natural materials and furnished with taste without compromising comfort or functionality. Frank is the best host and the room was perfectly clean. You should stay here, dont let the distance from the centre discourage you, the nearby tram 26 takes you in the city within 15 mins or so

Saubere, gemütliche Unterkunft. Nahverkehr in die Stadt schnell erreichbar. Ideal für jemanden, der mit dem Auto anreist und gerne ruhig übernachtet.

The house is amazing, it smells like a walk in nature mixed with floral and herbal notes. Everything is well taken care of, the rooms are cosy and the bathrooms are spacious. The owners are welcoming and helpful. You should also visit their website for extra tips.

What a beautiful and comfortable room! The owner Frank put a lot of thought and care into the design of the room, including very comfortable beds and chairs, a huge gorgeous ornate mirror, a stylish bathroom with a nice shower, and good coffee! We also appreciated having access to a microwave and washer/dryer in an adjacent utility room. Frank was so kind to make room for our rental bikes in his garage and even gave us maps and suggestions for rides in the area. The location on Steigereiland was very convenient in that the tram to the Central Station (where all connections can be made) is only a 5 minute walk from the house, and there is a good Turkish deli/market on the corner, and an absolutely delicious nice restaurant very nearby. A larger market and other stores are only one stop away.

Дуже затишне житло. Кімната маленька - але світла, тепла і зі свіжим повітрям, натуральні матеріали стін і білизни. Неймовірно гарні мозаїки з кахлів на підвіконнях і у ванній. Кавоварка, кава, чай, міні-бар. Гарний і особливо оформлений будинок на тихій вулиці з красивими житловими будинками, поруч трамвайна зупинка, 13 хвилин трамваєм до центру Амстердама. Дуже привітні господарі, Франк підказав нам також недорогу підземну парковку поблизу.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und gut verbunden. Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zimmer klein aber gut ausgestattet, Bett sehr bequem und alles war sehr sauber. Sehr empfehlenswert

Déco ambiance vintage. Literie très confortable et super douche à l'italienne. Petit frigo, bouilloire et machine à café dans la chambre. Franck est très sympa et attentif au confort de ses pensionnaires.

Petit bémol : pas de petit déjeuner. Mais petits snacks et boisons dans le frigo de la chambre.

Hemos viajado en familia y puedo decir que ha sido una experiencia fantástica, Frank y su familia han sido unos estupendos anfitriones, nos han dado mucha información interesante, las habitaciones han estado geniales, el barrio es muy tranquilo y tiene una magnífica comunicación con Amsterdam. Sin duda, volvería a elegir el mismo lugar.

Loved the quirkiness of the place. The bed, pillows, and quilt were so comfortable I wanted to take them home with me. Great location easy with the tram. Frank was very helpful and friendly.

The room was spacious with a large private bathroom. The coffee maker and hot water kettle were a nice touch. The host was thoughtful by providing reading materials and snacks. The B&B was about 450m from the tram line and about 15 minutes to the central station. This is the perfect location if you're looking for a quiet residential stay with easy access to the city center. The restaurant at the end of the street was lovely. There is a beautiful park in the neighborhood I recommend visiting.

Our host Frank was such a delightful human, every interaction made us feel welcome and at peace. I will absolutely come back and hopefully book here again. Our room was impeccable and the bathroom was really nice and clean. We've had enough of everything we could possibly need. As a person that usually prefers the least amount of contact possible, I was surprisingly happy with the warm welcome and general communication. Whatever advice we could possibly need, Frank (our host) was there to advise us and we were really happy with suggestions. I would recommend to anyone to stay here if they prefer more chill parts of the city and a comfort of a room that actually feels like home (vs. a hotel room).

Frank was a lovely host! Made us feel very welcome and the colour changing lights were a nice touch to feel cosy. We enjoyed the location as it was very easy to get a tram to centraal, we are usually people who walk everywhere but the tram was no issue :)

The water in the shower didn’t get very hot but this might just be a one-off thing!

Frank is a great host and the house and area are lovely. The best thing is the location, it's just a short hop on the tram to the centre but it's such a quiet area.

Maybe need the option of a thin duvet when it's hot

This place was fabulous. Located on a quiet, tree lined street, it fit our needs exactly. Very warm, comfortable beds. Clean facilities, and the owner Frank was very informative and helpful.

Nothing….but it is located about 15 minutes outside the city center. A tram stop is very close by, and very easy to get into central Amsterdam.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to an amazing restaurant and the water. Beautiful walking trails, close to transportation, 12 mins to the center of Amsterdam. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The room was large, newly remodeled with lots of closet space, and the bathroom was very large.

The host Frank was very friendly and the room is great. The house has a cool vibe, being made from clay and straw. The locations is easily accessible by tram with a 15 minute journey from the central station.

The neighbourhood is very peaceful, safe, outside the centre but easily accessible at all hours by tram or bike. The room is clean, very cozy and beds are amazing. We had everything we needed (towels, shampoo, laundry detergent,..) Also, the family was so friendly and helpful and nice to chat with. We really loved the view from the apartment, the street looks like a shot from a movie. There is a little coffee machine in the room so we made coffee every morning.

You will have to go to the city for breakfast or bring something you can put in the mini fridge to eat (yogurt etc.).

Room is a little small

The owner Frank is a great host, he waited for us to arrive out of the check in hours and did not complained at all. The room was clean and ready, he offered us coffe, tea and snacks for free.the room has his own bathroom with shower. Blankets, towels, everything was perfect. Te place is really quiet and pacefull, is very near from the tram 26, which comes directly from Amsterdam centraal. Very recomended place!

A very nice and cosy room (not for 'love birds' :-)) in a residential area, very close to the center of Amsterdam. Tram 26 will take you in a few stops to the Central Station. The place has a very nice bathroom section. It's all at a good price/value ratio, especially comparing to the extremely high prices you pay for poor rooms in the center of town. The location of the BnB is fantastic; on the outskirts of Amsterdam. There it is quite remote and peaceful next to the sea while you still have a great connection to Amsterdam Cetraal via the tram (it's aprox. a 20min direct ride). The owners were very nice and you could tell that they really cared about you having a pleasant stay. The room itself was great aswell. It was nicely (dutch) themed, very clean and had everything you needed. All in all, a great stay with really nothing to complaint about. :)
