Für ein solch grosses Hotel dürfte auch eine Person deutsch sprechen, und die Psrkgarage ist sehr sehr teuer, 30 € im Tag

Ausgezeichneter Service und exzellentes Frühstück. Am letzten Abend waren wir im Restaurant und in der Sky Bar - beides ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Wir waren bereits mehrfach im Four Elements Hotel und immer zufrieden. Unser "Go to", wenn wir in Amsterdam sind.

- Moderne Lichtsteuerung von der Tür und vom Bett aus - Immer kostenloses frisches Wasser mit Gurke/Zitrone an der Rezeption - Relativ ruhig gelegen und man ist mit der Tram trotzdem schnell im Zentrum

- Ich hatte gegen Aufpreis explizit Seeblick reserviert und man wollte mir beim Check-in Hafenblick geben. Erst auf meine Anfrage wurde dann der Seeblick ermöglicht und ich hatte "Glück", dass noch ein Zimmer frei war. Ich möchte nicht betteln und Glück haben, um die Leistung zu erhalten, die ich gebucht und bezahlt habe. - Kein einziger Schrank oder Kommode im Zimmer. Nur ein offenes Regal und offene Kleiderbügel.

the room was nice and clean, cozy, i liked the moody lighting, the bed had a matress on the firmer side so it was really nice for me to sleep on and the bathroom was also clean and well kept... the location is also really good, a grocery store is just 3 minutes walking from the hotel with more facilities like a drugstore, pharmacy and another few grocery stores just 2 tram stops away and the tram goes straight to the central station from where you can travel basically anywhere in or outside the city

the only thing missing that i would have liked is a mini fridge in the room to keep my water bottle cool or to put a lactose free milk or other perishables in

Die Lage ist super. Das Frühstück war gut

Hotel ist gut und entspricht den Erwartungen bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Der Weg in die Stadt ist mit der S-Bahn gut zu machen, allerdings bitte keine Buchungen vornehmen. Einfach in der S-Bahn mit der Bankkarte bezahlen (scannen) - auch mit der deutschen Bankkarte. Betten waren sehr gut.

Klimaanlage war ein bisschen nervig. Das Frühstück war nicht so gut. Saft nicht genießbar, Gemüse teilweise nicht ok... Bei 20 EUR ist es noch verbesserungsfähig.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Zimmer, modern ausgestattet und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, aber verhältnismässig teuer wenn man dieses nicht im voraus gebucht hat (25 Euro).

Die nächste Tram/Bus-Haltestelle war relativ weit entfernt (ca. 7 Gehminuten).

I stay here whenever I am in Amsterdam. Easy trip to the city center by tram. Great hotel and staff are very helpful.

Het hotel is rustig gelegen aan een mooi en klein binnenhaventje. Je kan er betalend parkeren langs de straat. Het ontbijt is uitstekend en alles wordt voortdurend aangevuld.

Het sinaasappelsap bij het ontbijt was zeer waterig, jammer want de rest was prima.

Everything. The hotel is beautiful, clean and easily accessible. The rooms themselves are beautifully clean and comfortable. Staff absolutely make the hotel. Staff at the front desk were all professional and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, I cant express enough just how amazing they are going above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Liked the room, very clean and comfy, as well as the bathroom. Overall very modern facilities. I also enjoyed the infused water available at the reception area. Breakfast was a bit expensive for what they offered.

Toller Blick und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Bahnanbindung war super und alle 5 Minuten kam eine Bahn die in das Zentrum gefahren ist. Parken ist sehr teuer 29 € pro Tag.

Im Parkhaus lagen viele Scherben in die wir gefahren sind. Ich habe es dann gemeldet und es wurde weggeräumt. Ich hoffe immer noch dass unsere Reifen noch ganz sind.

It was fine for a short stay

Shower fitting was worn so shower head couldn't be positioned correctly making it virtually unusable. Shampoo bottle holder broken. Body wash pump seized. Air conditioning rattled so had to be switched off for sleep. Coffee cups far too small Bottled water not replaced

Clean rooms and confy, tidy. Nice bathroom. Nice skybar and caring staff.

Parking. Hotel charges 29.50e a day (which is not so less than the regular city fee for 24hrs). Unfortunately there is no option to park your car inside just for a few hours in case you need the car during the day to have an outdoor trip, so you end up paying hotel daily fees + the parking fees during your trip.

Lovely roof top cocktail bar with live music. Friend I t helpful staff. Good location for events at Gaasper Park as bus goes from close.

Freundliches Personal. Zusätzliche Überraschung für Geburtstag buchbar. Schöne Lage. Auto kann in der Tiefgarage stehen, muss aber gesondert bezahlt werden. Kurzer Fußweg zur Straßenbahn mit der man dann in ca. 15 Minuten am Amsterdamer Hauptbahnhof ankommt, kein Parkplatz Stress in Amsterdam City!

Leider parken in der Tiefgarage nur von Nacht zu Nacht, das heißt man muss am Abreisetag um 12:00 Uhr die Tiefgarage verlassen. Somit kann nicht mehr der ganze Tag genutzt werden, es sei denn man zahlt eine volle Nacht parken zusätzlich.

Er wordt gesproken dat er kan worden geparkeerd, echter tegen een meerprijs van € 29,50. Dat hadden ze van te voren ook kunnen vertellen.

Es war sauber und die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet lediglich eine Minibar hat gefehlt.

Der Aufzug war kaputt und das Frühstück hätte besser sein können.

The size of the room, view.

I got scurbies off of the fabric from the couch. This was not cleaned properly. In addition, the automatic lights (not able to adjust manually) in the bathroom kept turning off and then on again, extremely bright, when taking a bath. This turned the intended relaxing bath into a very unrelaxing disco. Makes absolutely no sense. Will not be coming back.

Supermodernes stylisches Hotel, große geräumige Zimmer mit Blick auf einen kleinen Hafen oder das Meer. Freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück, welches man im Sommer auch auf der Terrasse genießen kann. Sehr ruhige Gegend, dicke Wände und schwere Türen, in der Nacht ist es "muksmäußchenstill". Ein paar Gehminuten von der Straßenbahn-Endstation Ijburg entfernt, die Linie 26 verkehrt sehr regelmäßig auch bis zum späten Abend. Die Lage ist gut, jedoch nicht zentrumsnah. Mit der Straßenbahn fährt man ca. 15 Minuten bis zum Bahnhof Centraal, mit Geh- und Wartezeit muss daher ca. 25-30 Minuten pro Fahrt einrechnen.

Rund um das Hotel ist sehr wenig los, es gibt auch nur 1-2 Lokale, wo man abends was Essen gehen kann und diese schließen früh. Auch die wunderschöne Roof-Top Bar im Hotel und die schöne Terrasse vor dem Hotel wird wenig besucht. Die Lage ist gut, jedoch sehr ruhig und nicht zentrumsnah, tagsüber mal schnell zurück ins Hotel dauert einfach zu lange. Wir haben das Hotel gebucht, da es im Zentrum schwierig war etwas vergleichbares zu einem vernünftigen Preis zu finden.

We gingen voor de eenvoudige bereikbaarheid naar het centrum (tram 26) maar werden ook aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit van het hotel.

Die Lage, Schalldämmung der Zimmer, Betten waren sehr gut.

Während meines Aufenthals stand nur ein Aufzug zur Verfügung. Für ein 10 geschossiges Hotel befanden sich 2 Kaffeemaschienen im Frühstücksraum. Diese benötigten ihre tägliche Wartung immer am morgen. Ein zweiten Kaffe holen überlegt man sich dann doch. Recht unpersönlicher Betreuung der Gäste.

Die Lage ist toll, die Ungebung ruhig und die Zimmergröße und Sauberkeit IM Zimmer in Ordnung.

Wenn ich irgendwo auf der Welt ein Hotel mit Balkon buche, gehe ich davon aus dass dieser auch benutzt werden darf und sauber ist. In diesem Fall lag eine leere Zigarettenschachtel (ironischerweise) auf dem Balkon gleich an der Tür und es war alles voller Insekten an den Wänden des Balkons. Zudem wurde man unfreundlich vom Personal an der Rezeption darauf hingewiesen, dass dies ein Nichtraucherhotel wäre. Alles schön und gut, aber bieten sie nicht ein teures Balkon-Zimmer an auf wessen Balkon man dann nicht rauchen kann. Ich bin normalerweise sehr fair mit Bewertungen, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhälntnis ist hier in und an sich ein absoluter Treppenwitz, dass man in AMSTERDAM ein Hotel bucht mit Balkon und dann nicht dort DRAUSSEN rauchen darf ist leider völlig absurd und realitätsfern. Zusätzlich unfreundlich und uninteressierte- teils schlafende Mitarbeiter um 1 Uhr nachts wenn man noch eine Frage hat. In Zukunft wäre es angebracht vor der Buchung groß und deutlich klarzumachen dass man nicht auf dem integrierten Balkon rauchen darf. Für meinen Teil war es das mit diesem Hotel, denn sehr wohl ist die Gegend mit Strand gleich daneben schön, doch ist es völlig enttäuschend für diesen Preis. Es war mein 8. Mal in Amsterdam, und das erste Mal dass nicht gehalten wird, was versprochen wurde

Esthetically this place was lovely. Looked fancy. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. It was clean. Close to trams and only 15 minutes to central station. Close to supermarkets. It stops there though

1) We stayed for nearly 3 weeks and it wasn't cheap to do so. We originally got a top floor room overlooking the water. Sunset at night. Lovely view. The air conditioning didn't work. There are heaps of complaints in prior reviews about this. But instead of believing us, they made us sit in the room for an hour because we hadn't turned it on correctly and it should work. It didn't. The tradesman came to fix it. They made us sit in the extremely hot room again for an hour before we assured them it wasn't working. They asked us to wait another hour. What was that going to do? It still did not work but we were feeling quite ill at this point as it was quite a hot day.. They changed our room to 6th floor. We lost our view. The air con actually worked on 6th floor though. We were about 3 or 4 days into our stay at this point and hadn't slept well due to lack of air circulating. 2) another day where the electricity went out in our row of rooms. Top to bottom row I believe.We happened to be in that row. Not all rooms were effected, only a few. After it being out for a few hours, we checked in to see what was happening. Having medication I need kept refrigerated, they advised us again to move rooms. Luckily the power came back on before we had to move again. 3) Laundry. There is none. Their system starts at €39 euro per item. We assume it was per item as reception did not know and advised us they assume it was per item. Either way, very expensive. The closest laundromat is 5 kilometres away. Not great for a long stay 4) Our room was cleaned every day. Even when the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN was clearly on. They knocked regardless ignoring the red do not disturb light which we confirmed was on every time they did it. There was not a single day we were not disturbed. One occasion I was sick and in bed unclothed, another day my husband and I were being intimate, another day we were sleeping. Just really inconvenient.

The air-conditioning unit kept coming on during the night and we couldn't turn it off, its not intrusive but did wake us up a couple of times. Apart from that it was great and would stay again

Keine Infos, kein Stadtplan, sehr laut beim Frühstück ( Gruppe mit Asiaten) dadurch keinen Platz gefunden . Sonnenschirme defekt, überall Spinnweben, Personal teils sehr freundlich

Sehr gutes Frühstück, leider ohne Eierbecher. Dafür hatte es eine intetrssante Pancake-Maschine.

In unserem Zimmer war leider der Zugang zum Balkon defekt. Der Balkon im Ersatzzimmer hatte auf dem Balkon weder Tisch noch Sitzgelegenheit und war ungepflegt. Lohnt sich nicht, mit Balkon zu buchen.

Die stilvollen Zimmer

Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Four Elements. Das Personal war freundlich, das Hotel gepflegt und die Lage sehr schön. Schade war nur, dass wir trotz Buchung eines Superiorzimmers mit Seeblick lediglich ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Seeblick erhalten haben. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Beim Frühstück waren die angebotenen Bohnen am Buffet leider bereits aufgebraucht und wurden trotz unserer Nachfrage nicht nachgefüllt. Bei dem Preis des Frühstücks hätten wir uns hier etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit und einen vollständigen Service gewünscht.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Restaurantes in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück, aber keine 20 Euro wert.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht! In der Küche ein Top-Service und gutes Frühstück.

Wir mussten zweimal das Zimmer wechseln. Im ersten Zimmer funktionierte kein TV und Internet, im nächsten Zimmer tropfte die Dusche permanent und Klimaanlage war defekt. Im dritten Zimmer waren lediglich die Zahnputzbecher und Dekokissen dreckig. Das Hotel achtet viel auf Style, aber wenig Instandhaltung.

Les moustiques en nombre dès que la fenêtre est partiellement ouverte. Depuis mon précédent séjour, j'ai trouvé l'hôtel un peu défraîchi.Les lattes de bois du parquet usées ainsi qu'un mur.. Pas de réel contact avec le personnel.

Location and staff

One of rooms (superior twin) was small. Other room had loud noise from bar above until late.

The location was great as it was nice to come back to a quiet area out of the main city area. The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the area. Only a short 5-10 walk from the tram to centraal station in Amsterdam (20 minutes). Great options for breakfast.

Would have appreciated a bar fridge or mini fridge in the room as we could not refrigerate any water/drinks or food. The air conditioning also needed some maintenance as it would turn on automatically after we turned it off.

We had a pleasant two-night stay during our vacation. The accommodation was comfortable with a lovely view, and although it was a little outside the city center, it was well connected by public transport with shops conveniently nearby. Highly recommended!

Good location, close to tram. Nice room. Private underground parking, just make sure your car/van less than 2m high 😀. It was ok for my vw transporter.

Very comfortable room, spacious bathroom. The breakfast has many options to choose from. It was nice to have breakfast on the terrace with a view of the harbour. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff was a little unfriendly, some plain rude. We booked a room with lake view, but got a room on the side of the hotel with only a little bit of the lake to see.

The room , the view , the bed , were all very nice. Had everything you need. The bathroom was nice, compact but good. . All in all a good experience , i would stay again.

The air system in the toilet was not working. The net curtains were awful. Full of stains and dead insects. Really needs replacing or removing, also windows need cleaning to represent the light and view the harbour view deserves.
