Probleme pour accéder ou sortir des lits. Impossible de sortir sur le coté. Un vieux poêle vient accentuer la difficulté. Manque de crochets pour les vêtements.

Super location and nice apartment

De locatie was perfect om Bergen te bezoeken.

Wij hadden de beneden verdieping. Je kon nergens comfortabel gaan zitten. Aan de ‘tafel’ zat je niet praktisch gezien het tafelblad lager was dan de hoge barkrukken. Zitten moest je op zitzakken. Er is nergens opbergruimte voorzien. Ook geen nachtkastjes dus hier gebruiken wij ook de zitzakken voor. De badkamer moest je de ventilatie continu oplaten of het begon onfris te ruiken door vocht. Bij harde regenval werden de ramen van de slaapkamer aan de binnenkant nat, wat ook geur gaf. Onvriendelijke communicatie met de eigenaar.

Posizione ottima. Arredi nuovi. Cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per preparare i pasti. Condizionatore perfettamente funzionante. Lavatrice e stendino veramente utili. Nonostante gli spazi veramente ridotti, dispone di tutto il necessario. Si consiglia per soggiorni in cui si trascorre in casa giusto il tempo per dormire, mangiare e poco altro. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzi, considerati i costi mediamente alti in Norvegia.

Un po' scomoda la doccia (ho letto però che nella maggior parte degli alloggi norvegesi sono strutturate in questo modo, per questioni di spazio). Sarebbe utile un piccolo armadio/comò per conservare i vestiti (capisco però che viste le dimensioni ridotte sarebbe difficile trovare una giusta collocazione).

Appartamento pulito e cucina ben fornita. La posizione centralissima.

Abbiamo pernottato per due giorni .Le camere nel sotto tetto erano un po' sacrificate e una era aperta sul ballatoio senza chiusure. Poi purtroppo abbiamo avuto un inconveniente, niente di serio per fortuna, ma abbiamo mandato subito un messaggio per comunicare l'intoppo e.....sto aspettando ancora una risposta.

It was close to Bergen centre.

No bedside tables. Stairs were very narrow and scary if getting up in night to go down to use bathroom. Bedrooms were up in the roof where we unfortunately kept bumping our heads on the eaves unless we slid down to foot of bed to get out of it.

A fantastic location just a short walk from the city center and a seamless, easy self-check-in with a code made the start of our stay very convenient. The apartment serves as a great base for exploring, and a major plus is the dedicated entryway space where you can leave wet clothes and shoes after coming back from outside. On the bright side, the downstairs couch is comfortably soft, which saved the day when sleeping upstairs didn't work out. This place works fine purely for a short stay if location is your absolute top priority and you don't plan on spending much time indoors.

Unfortunately, the property has quite a few drawbacks worth noting. First, we were surprised by a rather confusing rule in the check-in instructions stating a maximum guest age of 35 years old. The apartment itself is noticeably smaller in person than it appears in the photos. The upstairs bedrooms are located in a true attic space with extremely low ceilings, making it easy to bump your head on the doors, and the cramped atmosphere felt too claustrophobic to actually sleep there. The staircase leading up is extremely narrow, and the bathroom door opens directly onto the dining table, which is quite inconvenient.

La localisation (à 2minutes à pied des maisons en bois de Bryggen). Le calme malgré la proximité avec le centre et le confort des matelas. Dommage que l’appartement soit un peu sombre( lumières pas assez forte)

Les chambres à coucher mansardées (plafond très bas), la douche sans paroi. La cuisine est un peu encombrée avec beaucoup de vaisselles et ustensiles inutiles ( par ex. 17 verres à vins)

Excellent location. Very short walk to the funicular and Bryggen waterfront. And it had a washing machine.

Door handle came off in our hands upon arrival, toilet seat broken - both of which we immediately contacted the landlord to fix, especially as the toilet seat was a safety issue. He said he’d fix them after we checked out from our 4 day stay. The shower handle then came off, there was so little storage space in the kitchen that all the cutlery had been put in the cupboard above the extractor fan and was covered in grease. Probably one of the most disappointing Booking.com experiences we’ve had

Great location near Bergen town centre on a nice cobbled street. Everything within easy walking distance. Beds are very comfortable and the flat is stylish and we enjoyed a week here.

Bedrooms upstairs have a low ceiling so not ideal for tall people. Stairs are also quite narrow so might be tight for some people moving around.

It's a renovated and clean building in a really great location in the center with an easy and straightforward entry instructions.

Planned on rating it a high 9/10 because there were only minor faulty details (some handles, toilet seat etc.), but sadly the host didn't help with providing a wifi connection during our stay - because of what unforturnately we had to spend a bit extra for topping up our SIM cards.

The location was excellent; less than 5 minutes from Bryggen and the harbour.

Nothing of note, really enjoyed our stay. The router wasn't working properly at the end of our stay but wifi was not important so didn't matter too much.

Que es un poco incómodo para comer y estar. No tiene un sitio en el que sentarse cómodamente ya que tiene dos taburetes altos con una barra y la televisión en la cama.

Super położenie. Czysto i bardzo ładnie. Szybkie dojście do centrum pięknymi uliczkami Bergen.

Nie ma żadnej szafki czy wieszaka żeby wypakować ubrania z walizki. Stolik kuchenny ma za wysokie krzesła przez co podczas jedzenia niewygodnie siedzieć.

The apartment was clean and modern

There are two apartments and I was in the downstairs one. I could hear absolutely everything above me and it was infuriating. If you’re not bothered by noisy neighbours (or even just hearing them walking and talking constantly) then I would recommend this apartment, but for me it completely ruined my stay.

Fabulous location. Couldn’t afk for better. Cute little property with everything you need for a comfy stay close to Bergen.

Veldig sentralt. Leiligheten var topp moderne. Nytt bad og kjøkken.

Leiligheten er veldig trang. Går over 3 plan, adkomst via veldig trange og bratte trapper. Fikk ikke kofferten opp på soverommet i 3etg..Der var det gode senger, men alt for lavt under taket og trangt. Leiligheten er noe vanskelig å komme seg rundt i om en er dårlig til bens , høy , kraftig eller har vanskeligheter med å bøye seg. I 3 etg var det ca 185cm på det høyeste, med skråtak, så Max 50 cm langs kantene. Trolig et gammelt kryploft omgjort til sove rom. Trappen opp var bratt og smal. 1 etg kun gang og bratt smal trapp opp. 2 etg er smalt. Max 3m bred og mye areal går til trapp.

In uno stabile antico nel quartiere più centrale di Bergen sono stati ricavati due differenti appartamenti, sapientemente ristrutturati. Noi eravamo in quello più piccolo, a piano terra, che nonostante le ridotte dimensioni e’ stato perfetto per noi due. La posizione ottimale, la cucina ben equipaggiata, il letto comodo, la pulizia… Non metto 10 solo per l’assenza di qualsiasi tipo di appoggio per i vestiti in camera (no armadi, no mensole, no ganci , ad eccezione di tre nell’ingresso per le giacche). A parte questo, consigliatissimo!

El piso es pequeño. En el baño había poco espacio y la ducha no tenía mampara por lo que mojabas todo.

It was just renovated last year and a new kitchen and bathroom.

アパートメント1階。5日滞在。 チェックイン当日に寝室には大きなほこりの束があり、ベッド上部もほこりだらけで、掃除されていなかった。また、テレビが見れず問い合わせを何度もして、ようやく３日目に対処してもらえた。 返信がなかったため後に聞くと、夏休みと言われた。対応は大変良くなかった。 また、晴れの日であったにもかかわらず、寝室はとくに湿気がひどく、全体的に湿度が高く、心地良いとは言えなかった。Booking.comで「ある」と記載されたコーヒーメーカーはなく、やっと連絡がとれたオーナーに聞いたが結局、コーヒーメーカーは、無いままであった。 また、衣類をかけるハンガーや、ラック自体がなく、尋ねたところ、「数日しか滞在しないのに、衣類ラックやたんすは必要ない」と言われた。 ホコリの写真も送るよう言われ二度も送ったり、テレビが数日見れない、コーヒーメーカーはない、、について謝罪もなく不快なままでした。 食器は少なく、スープやシリアルを入れる器もない。一日のみの滞在ならまだ見過ごせるのかもしれないが、大変残念であった。

Exceptional cozy interior in a kind of duplex apartment (small stairs!) with perfect/luxury bath room (no bath, but a rain shower) and almost fully equipped kitchen (I missed a small microwave). With appliances I would expect manuals ; did not find any so I had to look up on the internet to understand how certain function work (for example: only drying). Would be nice if they are part of the apartment guidelines you receive electronically. Very cosy beds and cleanliness. Location is 400meters from the fish market harbor (tourist info) where all the vibe is.

Height of the bedrooms (located in the perfectly renovated attic, but with a door height of +/- 1.6m it was even too low for my daughter. Bumped my head to the ceiling going down the stairs. You had to crawl on the beds which might not be easy for people of certain age. So in general 'upstairs' (duplex appartement) might not be for everyone. The renovation is probably made visually 'picture perfect' ; do not expect noise insulation so our neighbors of the single room apartment probably did not like the sound of the washing machine.

Our favorite stay of our 3 week holiday. Such a great location in a somewhat quirky old building which added to the fun. Excellent communication and the host was lovely about letting us leave our bags before checking and after check out.

Tight stairways were no issue for us, but worth noting if you have mobility issues.

Location and all amenities were in place.

Street noise from electric scooters passing all hours

The apartment is in an amazing location. You can walk to Bryggen, the Fløyen funicular, the supermarket and restaurants. A fantastic cafe on the corner!! Great to have a washing machine.

There is no where to hang clothes other than the hooks at the front door for jackets. No bedside tables so we moved chairs next to the bed. Only little things that could be rectified.

We loved the location of this apartment just up the hill from the Bryggen. The flat was fresh, clean, and nicely renovated. It was perfect for a base in Bergen. The space is small and efficient.

This is not necessarily a negative but travelers should be aware that the two beds in the top floor are nestled in triangular spaces from the roof. It is cozy and there are wonderful windows in the roof upstairs for ventilation that can be blacked out. The stairs leading up are narrow but have good rails.

Nicely renovated apartment and the photos are accurate. Had everything we needed and the location was great! Communication was fantastic and information provided was so helpful - access in, parking nearby, etc. I highly recommend this apartment in Bergen.

perfect position and location

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean . It was under 25 square metres dsovery small. The downside to the apartment was there was another property above us. There was no insulation so the noise woke us early morning and and kept us awake until about 1am. We could literally hear everything!!!!! If you book an apartment make sure it is in the top floor. The two apartments were the same just so they are aware of the noise. For this reason we wouldn't recommend this apartment

great location. Walkable to Bryggen, the museum, the fish market, shopping and many restaurants. very clean. comfortable beds and very well equipped. Very nice bathroom.

The only thing that keeps this little apartment from a higher score is the stairs.. There are 2 flights of very narrow, steep stairs. Trying to get luggage up and down was quite tricky. In addition they are painted with a heavy gloss paint which makes them very slippery. We had one fall trying to get a bag down. If you are traveling light and have good knees perhaps not much of an issue for you.

The location is fantastic, quiet street, cery central. It's an old house that has been renovated beautifully, while retaining a lot of the original charm. Both the dining and lounge area were pleasant and cozy, perfect to kill some rainy hours and recover from travelling. The washer/dryer was very convenient and the bathroom is warm enough that we could easily dry more delicate fabrics overnight.

The original building comes with limitations, such as the narrow staircases and low attic bedrooms that are very apparent in the pictures. This wasn't an issue for us, but may be for people with difficulties in tight spaces or mobility issues.

The property had been newly renovated so was wonderfully new and clean. The house is old, adding to the charm of staying here. Location was excellent.

Perhaps the owners could make it clearer that the pictures and description are for two appartments in one house. We stayed downstairs which consists of a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. The other apartment may be larger with a lounge as shown in the pictures. As we stayed for five days we were hoping for a washer and dryer. There wasn’t a dryer and it was a problem getting clothes dry on a drying rack as no real place to put it. Could I also suggest the owners ask the upstairs guests to remove their shoes and be mindful of people downstairs as this is an old house with no sound proofing. Maybe guests should enquire about which apartment you want before booking?

There was no ability to unpack suitcases as there was nowhere to put clothes. To have an apartment with no bedside table , no hanging space, drawers or cupboards is very unusual and frustrating when travelling . The bedroom was a tight space to get around the bed, especially as 2 enormous bean bags were in the corner of the room. The bean bags were the only soft seating in the apartment but due to their size were constantly being moved around. An unusual choice of furniture The apartment is small in area, and the only place to sit other than the bean bags was on high stools at a bench, which is by the window at street level. Either have the blind down with no light or be seen by all who pass by The bathroom configuration with a folding shower screen caused water to spray all across the floor. Used towels to mop up to prevent slipping. The shower did not produce hot water, only warm at best. The washing machine vibrated so much that items that we had stored on top ( due to limited storage in bathroom) fell off into the toilet. The listing said washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing facilities and drying rack were among the facilities . Only the washing machine was evident. On contacting the owner we were advised it was a washer /dryer. When we asked for instructions on how to use the dryer we received no reply. We then googled the machine to find it is a washing machine only. The other items ( iron and drying rack)we were told were not there. The list of facilities that an apartment has will be a factor in deciding whether to book. It is very disappointing that the facilities that are listed are not there. There is a lack of soundproofing between the apartment and the one above, not only did we hear every foot step but we could hear the murmur of conversations as well. The apartment looked like it had recently been renovated and the vibe was for appearance rather than practicality.

Very clean Kitchen with lots of equipments Really comfortables beds. The localization is perfect, near to the center. Door opens with a code given in a very clear document sent by email the day of arrival.

Narrow stairs to have our luggage with us in the bedrooms but it is the charm of the typical houses of Bergen

House is pretty downtown, walking distance from every main Bergen sight-seen. Easy check in with a door code. House completely restructured and furniture renewed. Kitchen well furnished. All clean. Host was always available.

We are a tall family and bedrooms ceiling isn't high enough to stand up completely.

Placement, practical apartment,

Just a suggestion that maybe it would be practical to have a washer/dryer combo machine as it rained a lot one day and it's limited space to dry clothes.

Newly renovated unit with modern deco. Clean and comprehensive kitchen facilities. Air conditioning was a life savior on the hot summer day we arrived. Great location close to main attractions.

First set of narrow stairs to get to the main living and dining, and second set of narrow stairs to get up to the bedroom - we had to leave our large heavy luggages at the bottom. Low headroom at the attic bedrooms.

Location - just 5min to the floibanen and 10min to Bryggen clean and facilities is 👍

Very hard stayng in the sleeping area , with a very low root ,possibility to stand just on the centerline of the area. No space available around the beds ,“ you could only get to bed by crawilng from the end of it. Area better suitable for kids

Great location. Very modern interior. A great arrival PDF booklet was sent beforehand with useful information. A very well kitted out kitchen. Good communication with the host. Nice and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom.

It was quite small but this seems a standard size for places that we compared before booking. It was quite frustrating that there wasn't a single shelf or small set of drawers which could have really helped as 2 friends living in the same room but there were 2 big bean bags which were down the side of the bed. There seems to be different priorities in the use of space, each to their own prefernce I suppose, but we did end up having to move these bean bags into the kitchen out of the bedroom just in order to get into bed. They just got in the way. We ended up living out of our suitcases in the kitchen, with my belongings/ case on the floor and my friends on the breakfast bar. You can imagine how a shelf would have been handy. There were some hooks near the door for coats but even an additional one to hang a towel for it to dry etc would have been great. A lot of unnecessary decor candles and ornaments which look great but really got in the way and made the lack of space even more apparent. We moved some decor off the window sill just to make the most of the little space.

The apartments is located perfectly in the centre of Bryggen giving you the best starting point for your adventures in Bergen. You can tell immediately that is has been newly renovated, it’s very pretty and clean. The host was very efficient in responding to any questions. I also received very useful guide on how to check in and what the apartment has to offer. There is a French press and a coffee machine to make your morning cup, fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine if you are travelling light. We had a good time.

These are recommendation notes more than a negative feedback: From the images it looks like a two floor apartment but there are actually three floors with extremely narrow staircase. The top floor is under the roof with tilted walls and tiny door into the bedroom so be sure you don’t bump your head. There were no window shields installed yet in the bedrooms so bring your eye mask if you want to get a good sleep here during long bright summer nights. There is no storage space anywhere, no shelves, no wardrobe so we were living out of the suitcase for 6 days. Also no shelf in the shower corner where you could keep your stuff. There is no shower gel/ shampoo provided so bring your own! The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances but there are no basic ingredients such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, dish soap so you need to get your own.

This property is in an ideal location in Bergen, close to lots of restaurants, shops, and an easy walk to the train to the airport. It is freshly renovated, and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!
