Gracious 3 Bdrm House in Chartwell

Homely. Clean. Lovely welcome gift. Comfortable.

Outside light didn’t work on arrival made it difficult to see lock combination.

Very clean, had everything we needed. Very quiet area, beds and pillows were so comfy. Also got fruit and bikkies from the host ☺️

No issues with anything

Clean, comfortable

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved our time here. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hosts were friendly and great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

It was clean, cosy , easy to find, great location , and suited our needs ,will highly recommend ,

It was clean, comfortable and in a handy location.

Nothing. Everything was more than expected.

It feels like home away from home

We had a wonderful stay at Mei’s home and couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Mei was excellent with communication from start to finish and showed genuine care to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The home itself had everything we needed — well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The location was fantastic, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. What truly stood out was the beautiful wairua within the home; it felt warm, peaceful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Mei and her lovely three-bedroom home to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for place to stay. Thank you Mei, we will definitely look forward to staying again in the future.

we were there for work purposes the house was perfect for the 3 guys we had staying there

Very homely, tidy, it had more than you needed thank you

Comfortable charming house with everything we needed. Great experience.

Loved everything about it. Clean, comfortable and a little of everything you might need. Location was perfect for my needs. Host left a lovely welcome message with fruit and chocolate biscuits. Very nice personal touch.

Only a small thing but annoying at the time. The sharp knives were so blunt they were almost unusable. The vegetable peeler was so blunt it was unusable. The addition of a pair of scissors would be handy.

Amazing location and beautiful home!

It had everything we needed and was presented well. Excellent value

Even being picky I can't think of anything that's worth mentioning

Beautiful & comfortable accommodation x

Although breakfast is not included, Mei, our host, greeted us with a thoughtful note and some delicious treats, instantly making us feel at home. The proximity to Chartwell Mall was a significant advantage, making it easy for us to explore the local eateries—the tranquility of the neighbourhood added to the beauty of our stay.

Great location. Tidy and clean. Everything you need for a long weekend stay.

Loved that the home was local to our event, looked exactly like the pictures online and was spacious for us to relax and play games.

Nothing it was exactly what we needed

Position, space, facilities, communication

The home is clean and tidy with the mall, just a 5 minute walk down the road. The beds are comfortable, and the communication with the host was amazing.

Lovely home, very comfortable and spacious, will definitely stay again 😁

More towels and loo paper will be 👌

Conveniently located to shops

Property at the end of street, a little dangerous backing out

Near to Mall walking distance and the house come with parking.

nothing

We had a very comfortable stay. Close to supermarket and shopping centre. House had plenty of room for the five of us and well equipped kitchen. Easy to find and parking for two cars. Nice to have the separate loo. Cosy with the heat pump.

A note in the house with the wifi password would be helpful, plus instructions for the drier. But these were very minor issues and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place with good location and everything we needed was provided by the host. The property was clean and the beds were comfy too. We had a really great time staying at the property. Thank you so much Mei for your warm hospitality❤️

Tidy and clean. Nice owner. Love the biscuits, fruit and chocolate. Owner was quick to respond

Only 2 bath towels for 4 adults for 2 days but owner came and bought some more over.

The lounge furniture was uncomfortable

The hosts are lovely and helpful. The location is great - close to the Chartwell Mall which was really handy!

Lovely big house. Clean and tidy. Everything we needed. Host was easy to contact and very open to the changes we had. Great location near shops and close to hobbiton, glow worm caves, Maori village etc. Great base for 6 nights

Good location. Had everything we needed. Host Mei was lovely!

It was central to where we wanted to be and had plenty of room

The chairs in sitting room were very uncomfortable. The TV was very basic. No sky or on demand. Beds hard. Minimal linen/towels. As we were there for several days this was not helpful. Refurbished older house done on the cheap.

Good Location. Very polite and responsive host. Thank you Mei. Roomy home. Games available. Big Fridge and cooking facilities available. Separate toilet and Shower. Comfortable beds. Great washing machine, dryer and clothesline. Fruit bowl on arrival. Wi-Fi available.

Unfortunately, it was a bit dated. Air conditioning only in living roomy and only 1 additional fan available. We had ants in the kitchen and noticed a few tiny cockroaches in a few of the rooms. (House just needs a spray) Damp smell coming from in the built-ins (so we chose not to use them). Shower needs replacing as there is a lot of mould. Wasn't that bad but

The location is great (closed to countdown and the shopping center). The host was very helpful. The most important thing the kids like is the board game they provide. The communication with the host is also very easy and smooth.

The house was very clean and tidy with a beautiful decor . The owner was very welcoming upon arrival very professional. The accommodation was exceptional, very close to the Chartwell shopping center. There's nothing bad to say about this Gracious beautiful house or the owner

Nicely presented, clean, fully fenced. Comfortable beds.

Had some ant attacks but not the fault of the owners. A strainer would have been nice and extra towels (that arrived promptly when requested)

the house was very cosy and the host had excellent communication.

nothing :)

Tidy, modern appliances and exceptionally clean. Had a charm due to the attention to detail eg decor. Host went over and beyond to help us when our hire car wouldn't start. Highly recommended.

Couldn't fault it. Everything was provided.

We had a wonderful time at this home. The small details that were added to make you feel welcome were really cute. Very clean and tidy and great communication throughout. We were very happy

Great home. Clean and fresh. Well maintained and chocolate biscuits 😋

Very close to Chartwell Shopping Mall.

Some heating in the bedrooms would have been nice, though there are electric blankets on the beds.

This property was so clean and tidy, I couldn’t fault it. I was very impressed
