La alberca estaba muy sucia desde el primer día, estaba verde, al día siguiente de la llegada, se veía que la estaban limpiando, pero siguió igual, no pudimos meternos porque no se veía nada limpia. También en la habitación se escuchaba cómo bajaba el agua del drenaje cuando los huéspedes de la habitación de arriba se bañaban o entraban al baño

Carrying luggage up two sets of stairs but the green plants around the initial set made it better!

Se fue la luz. Una sola persona para hacer todo y de todo. Cómo no hay luz, no hay agua pues todo es eléctrico. Llevamos más de 12 horas sin luz y sin servicio alguno. Sin un alma que atienda. Nadie absolutamente nadie en el hotel. Qué pésimo para los precios que manejan. Los horarios y especificaciones no concuerdan con los de la reserva, llegas y te dicen otra cosa.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Lugar tranquilo y relajante. Justo lo que buscaba con mi pareja. Jardines muy bonitos, la alberca climatizada. El jacuzzi de la habitación con la temperatura adecuada. El desayuno sencillo pero sabroso y lo necesario.
El estacionamiento es pequeño. Solo caben 4 vehículos. Pero afuera se ve tranquilo y seguro para dejar el vehículo.

Es solo un detalle, estaría bien que pusieran guarda polvos en las puertas para evitar que entren insectos y un banco para poner maletas. Pero la verdad, esto no quita lo bien que estan las instalaciones.

Esta vez nos tocó que el jacuzzi estaba frío, casi como la piscina y en el cuarto no había agua caliente, se reporto desde nuestra llegada y hasta el dia siguiente casi a la salida tuvimos agua caliente en la habitación.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026The room was spacious and comfortable bed. It was well-equipped with all the modern essentials, reliable AC, a large-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and consistent hot water. The lobby offered a bright, inviting atmosphere, and while the breakfast was a standard offering, the convenience of on-site parking added significant value to the stay.
My experience was unfortunately defined by a series of operational failures. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn that card payments were not accepted, I made a manual transfer. This lack of payment flexibility is a big problem for me; after being assured the pool would be available, the staff later recanted. I couldn't use it and was the purpose to be there. Furthermore, the hot tub was in a state of significant disrepair, visibly aged and poorly maintained, which is a clear hygiene concern. Finally, the evening experience was equally frustrating, as the bar offered no food service/snacks at 8 PM and, once again, was unable to process credit cards. These recurring issues suggest a need for urgent operational and maintenance improvements.

Poor staff. No communication. The food at breakfast was good but it was a small breakfast. They forgot to bring us juice. There was no one to ask for it. Refills seemed to be not available or required special permission from the big guy eating in the kitchen area. My husband asked for cream. He was ignored and yet others had cream. We had to ask for toilet paper when we arrived and again the second day. There was just no staff available.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Nos gustaron mucho los desayunos, el personal muy amable, la tranquilidad del lugar, muy bonito el hotel, muy buena ubicación y los servicios de SPA muy profesionales y recomendables.
Que la alberca no esta climatizada y estaba fría, no pudimos disfrutarla, el jacuzzi exterior bien falta limpieza diaria, y no hay regaderas de exterior en área alberca/jacuzzi/sauna. También nuestra habitación (suite 11) mobiliario viejo (en pared vestidor), jacuzzi descuidado, faltaba limpieza pues había hormigas, etc...pienso q si requiere mmto o remodelación, todos estos puntos los menciono por la relación calidad-precio.

Tuvimos un inconveniente con la habitacion que reservamos y nos dieron otra que no era, pero al final lo solucionaron de la mejor manera.

Staff is very professional ( no habla English, no English spoken) VIEW is tremendous, property is well maintained, massage therapist on-site ( 1 hour packages only) starting at $55; pool and jacuzzi, daily breakfastvorder from fixed menu plan ( omelettes, chillaquikes, molletes)
Pre arrival communication was practicallynon-existent; but after 3 emails ( email, phone call and text) , I decided to trybtext in Spanish and finally got a returned message. Sewer smells in room are masked with air fresheners Costs is high for Ajijic , as its 1 of a kind 🇮🇹

Hot tub was not very hot and sauna didn't work.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025The hotel has an excellent location, has a lot of restaurants around, drugstore, convenience store, etc. Parking is limited but is in a very safe neighborhood, it includes a hot breakfast and you’re able to relax in the property or going around Ajijic.
For my preference, beds are a bit hard you wake up sore.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025El hotel es muy agradable y acogedor. Ideal para salir caminando a Ajijic. El desayuno es bastante rico. En general un gran lugar para relajarse y cargar pilas.
Puntos a mejorar: Una red Wi-Fi muy inestable, el mantenimiento a detalle en las habitaciones (en general están muy bien pero con pintura descascarándose), las almohadas un poco incómodas (percepción personal). Ojalá pudieran dejar libre para los huéspedes el uso del sauna.
