Very hearty breakfast. Very generous portions. Great service. Very friendly host. Room was a great size.

Water pressure was inconsistent. Other guests wouldn’t lock the front door.

Very poor water pressure in the shower and sink and water is color brown for some reason. Breakfast was average and a long wait to be our turn. Towel needs to be wash deeply and properly ‘cause stained all over our towels.

A charming, beautiful home and suite. The in-suite spa bath was an unexpected surprise! Facilities were on-point, convenient access to all the activities on the Bonavista peninsula (but prob not walking distance to the downtown area). The cooked breakfast was fabulous!

The check in was easy, room was comfortable, clean, breakfast was good. The information providec about ameneties was helpful.

The location, though close to town, is further outside than we expected and on a main thoroughfare.

You can hear the other guests moving around the home at times. Everyone was very quiet while I was there. But if you had noisy guests at the same time this could be a problem. One suggestion.. It would be nice of the doors had a runner along the bottom to keep the hall light from coming in under the door.

It was bright and welcoming and easy to get in.

It was not really within walking distance with no sidewalks. The people upstairs were so loud we were up half the night pounding around.

The bed sheets were ripped, the shower and sink drains very slowly. The breakfast situation was a bit awkward. It was raining so there's minimal indoor seating and other older couples weren't very inviting to sit with them. We ended up opting out of the breakfast but the staff was amazing.

Breakfast was ok. Amanda was excellent, your lucky to have her.

Maybe two options for breakfast. Not a deal breaker though

The location was good, easy to get to and walk around to visit Bonavista. The room was very clean and was a good size. The rooms are well arranged in the house, you dont hear the others once you're inside your room.

On the website they write that you will be asked what you want for breakfast, it was not the case. We didnt get any choice. The only time we saw an employee was during breakfast, even for checking in they send you a code and you dont meet any staff. The bed was very hard and we got unlucky by getting a room where the window led to the street, meaning we couldn't keep it open at night because of the sounds. The water gallon is filled with tap water(it was yellow and tasted like tap water) . We know that it is safe to drink, but it is quite a surprise when you expect filtered water.

Apparently in the local news there was a boil water advisory for the town and there was no notification by the B&B weather it was applicable to the place or not

The door to our room didn’t close very tight and whenever another door in the house was opened and closed our door rattled. The air conditioner was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep.

Our room was very comfortable with a sitting area and an en suite bathroom. The whole house was decorated beautifully and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful and tasted great. Appreciated the hook in the bath - so many places overlook things like that. Very easy check in. Would have appreciated a microwave but it was really fabulous.

Our toilet was plugged prior to our arrival. When it overflowed after the first flush, we had to use one of the bathroom towels to soak up the water. That left us with only one towel for showering the next morning. We plunged it four times in the course of our stay. My husband cracked his head getting out of bed as the dormer was too low. We moved the bed to the centre if the room to avoid another injury. Our room was as lovely, spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely and so was Pauline.

The inn is a nice facility but is located somewhat outside of “downtown”. Room was fine, place comfortable, we did not stay for breakfast,but met the cook, who seemed to know what she was doing

House and rooms are beautiful and super clean. Room is larger than average. Breakfast on site is nice.

Soundproofing is slightly below average. We found the bed to be uncomfortable. Better communication about the breakfast would have been useful.

No central air and the portable units were not on when we arrived. Took hours to cool down. Main part of the house doesn’t have AC. Our breakfast was all cold. Cold potato, bacon and pancakes.

We got a late start for arrival due to getting on a ferry at a destination previously. It created a nighttime drive arriving to Landcaster Inn at 2 am. Amanda was gracious and encouraged us to come at anytime when I thought it might be too late to check in. She communicated all that was needed for us to enter. The breakfast and setting was lovely with other lovely guests and we got to see landmarks in the area after all. The room and bed was very comfortable.

We were disappointed that we were not able to choose an 8 am breakfast time instead of the 9 am slot Because no 8:00 slots were open we had to miss breakfast in order to keep an appointment in Appleton. There was not an offer to send us on our way with some food and no reduction in our cost for the stay. The Inn is well kept but in a very plain part of the community. Amada was very trusting in allowing for self-check in.

The floor can be squeaky and the walls are thin. I had to wear ear plugs when there were guests above my room.

We booked a double room. Room is clean and has all the necessary items needed (AC, toiletries, etc), very accessible to Dungeon National Park, Bonavista Lighthouse, Mockbeggar Plantation and Matthew's Legacy. Breakfasts were hefty. And coffee is readily available. The evening drink station is well provided with the necessary drinks for the tired souls who comes back from their adventures. And the staff (Amanda) and also to the other lady (I did not get her name, helping out as well) you made us feel at home. Love your coffee!

The limited channels on the TV. Our stay coincides with the FIFA World Cup. This is not really a big issue.

Good location. Clean and comfortable and spacious room. It was well furnished. The bathroom was also very well appointed and clean.

The breakfast was not what we expect in an intimate bed and breakfast place or what is promised on the website. The first day the person cooking breakfast said only scrambled eggs were available. There was no cereal or rolls; only white bread. The second day, a different cook offered fried and scammed eggs as options. We never knew who the hosts were and never met anyone at checkin or checkout.

The hot water can be consumed in a quick time, my partner experienced a cold shower after a few minutes of the shower as we were trying to fill the tub at the same time. Then, it takes a long time to recover.

Our bedroom was comfortable, cozy and perfect! Everything was crisp and clean. The common areas were beautiful and conducive to sitting and relaxing with the new friends we met or sitting quietly with a good book.
