Alles war sauber und schön. Unkomplizierter Check-In mit Schlüsselbox. Gastgeberin Ann sehr nett. Gutes Bett, zentrale Lage, ruhig.
Lovely touch with fresh bread, milk and tea and coffee available.
Lovely cosy apartment, close to all amenities.. everything you need there. Ann lives close by & is very helpful..
Very clean, cosy accommodation with adequate parking outside. Everything in walking distance.
No complaints
Nichts Negatives aufgefallen
Clean & comfortable Everything needed for a relaxing stay was provided

Very nice bread left for us.
The location , the cleanliness , and what was there for me on arrival
Great location, very easy to find with self check in. Clean and everything you need for a short stay. Lovely touch with bread and milk left out for us.
location
A brilliant little unit with a large well equipped kitchen and a comfy bed. Perfect for a stay in the amazing Killaloe.
Lovely apartment, very smooth check in procedure, owner checked in to make sure all was OK, ideal location.
Good value for money. Handy parking and close to everything in Killaloe. Clean and comfortable.
The only real negative was noise coming from the apartment underneath. Poor sound insulation meant that I was woken at about 12.30 a.m. by the conversation of a couple staying downstairs as well as their dog yapping. Later, after falling back to sleep, I was woken by the pair of them snoring loudly in unison.
Nice basic little apartment.
The brown bread & eggs, lovely touch
Bedroom very tight/small, manageable at the same time
N/A self catering. Although bread, milk and eggs were at the property in arrival as well as coffee/milk/sugar etc. We were there to visit family so very little time was spent on the apartment.
One problem. I slept on the window side of the bed. The street light shone into the top bedside. Maybe a extra foot on the curtain rail might help to pull the curtain further across.
From start to finish.. Leaba on the lake was better than any hotel! Such a homely experience. Brown bread, jam, eggs and everything was laid out.. something you would never get from a hotel. Lovely and clean and cosy. Myself and my husband loved it.. and we will be returning and recommending it to all friends and family! Thank you!

The fresh bread and eggs on arrival were an unexpected bonus, the property was comfortable, warm and had excellent facilities, the property is within close walking distance of the Lake, but not on the lake as the name would suggest
If you were to sleep next to the window the light from the street light shines on the pillow
It was home from home, well done to the host

Compact and comfortable. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the comfy bed and furnishings. On arrival we found eggs and beautiful bread. The light filled kitchen with a view up to the green hills was lovely. Killaloe is a great location for day trips to other towns like Limerick and Ennis.
Except for the Irish weather it was great
The fresh bread and eggs left for us was an amazing homie, touch. The apartment is amazing. We would like to go back and stay longer at this apartment.
Everything was amazing!
It was a very clean and well resourced appartment
It was located a bit too far from pubs and restaurants
Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa.
We loved this perfect little apartment in a pretty little town, with rich history and great bars and restaurants. The place was well equipped, friendly, and stylish. Lots of material in the flat gave us the information we needed to plan our days.
Great to have breakfast stuff provided especially the home made Irish bread! And interesting to be almost on the site of the palace of Brian Boru the High King of Ireland. Killaloe was a good place to be.
Great spot, all facilities and more.
Apartment was lovely and everything was great.Ann the host was lovely and very helpful.she had left lovely brown bread and eggs in apartment.Dog friendly as well
I could not complain about anything.
The property was well equipped and clean
The name of the property give me the impression that it was on or near a lake. However, this was not so.
Location ideal, spotlessly clean, lovely brown bread.
Excellent venue
Nothing to not like , everything was wat we wanted ,and an extra one or two homely touchs added to the stay
We loved Leaba on the lake. Ann was so welcoming, relaxed and warm. We were so chuffed to find a pan of homemade brown bread and eggs waiting for us in the kitchen area along with fresh milk, butter, jams ,tea ,coffee....what can I say...fab. The bed was very comfortable, quiet at night .
Nothing
Very comfortable and had everything we needed
Property is close to everything Bed lovely and comfortable Ann has left lovely brown bread eggs etc Plenty of parking Would recommend staying here
All was good
The location was close to the center, peaceful and the house was perfectly clean. The owner, dear Ann welcomed us upon we have entered the key code and even helped us to carry our luggage. A freshly baked delicious bread with chocolate and eggs on the table, even fresh milk in the fridge were waiting for us. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place to everyone. thank you Ann.
Apartment close to the river. Nice village
Everything was ok
The apartment was compact but well equipped and quiet. Good shower and dishwasher, even a slow cooker. Also within walking distance of shops, pubs, pharmacy, etc. In many ways a small home from home. Also nice that the host left out essential supplies and offered useful tips on what to see / where to go.
The title of the property and the pictures of the lake are a little deceptive. The property is at the end of a housing estate on a hill about 500m walk to the lake. It didn't really bother us nor did the street parking but maybe the description can be refined to reduce the risk of disappointment.
Really comfortable mini home, soda bread baked, small touches of kindness
The property is very compact and has everything you need including a real fire.
There was nothing to dislike about the place.
Lovely stay in Leaba On The Lake. Everything we needed was there on arrival, including dog bowls for our puppy. The stove makes it very hard to leave in the evenings! Ann is a great host, and we will definitely be back!

It was clean and comfortable. Lovely home cooked bread was great.

Lovely place, when we arrived there was tea, coffee, a loaf of brown bread, butter, milk and much much more, really nice hostesses.

I debated leaving this review as I recognise this rental is someone’s business and income source. However- when I make a booking I rely on others leaving honest reviews so I think it’s important that I detail the experience we had. We were unable to stay at this property because of the condition it was in. There was black mould in the bedroom and shower areas and the overall state of cleanliness was very poor. Dirty dishes in the cupboard and nothing to wash them with, dirty floors etc. We initially decided to try put up with it as we were only staying two nights. But we were increasingly uncomfortable the more we uncovered - and we made the decision to leave the property after approx 2 hours (sleeping in a mouldy bedroom was not acceptable to me). It was a terrible inconvenience for us to have to find alternative accommodation, but we really felt we had no choice. I messaged the owner when we were leaving but didn’t actually get a response until the following day when booking.com stepped in.
What a great community! Everything was conveniently located and easy to enjoy our time without having to drive at all. Ann is welcoming and accommodating. She asked questions and gave us great ideas of how we might most enjoy our stay. What a great host!
The apartment was gorgeous with loads of parking outside. Ann made us feel very welcome with freshly made bread on the kitchen counter when we checked in. Such a fab surprise plus it tasted amazing.
The apartment was easy to find and check in, in a great location close to supermarkets. The kitchen was well equipped and it was quiet.

I liked everything about the property …..except that it’s a little small …..but that’s just me. Other than that it is lovely
Maybe that the entrance is a dual entrance. Also that the toilet is off the living area and not off the bedroom.
Very comfortable and Anne was lovely.
Owner was very communicative- apartment was very well set up with owner providing home cooked soda bread, eggs, milk & coffee which was very appreciated. Supermarket 5mins away we only stayed one night but highly recommended
We were so happy to stay at this apartment. We loved the personal touch, the home made soda bread, fresh milk in the fridge, coffee and lots of cooking condiments. Ann is a wonderful host and I highly recommend the place
Warm welcome, lots of thoughtful provisions provided, milk, bread, biscuits. A lovely town in beautiful surroundings.
Wonderful, very cozy apartment with an excellent kitchen. When we just got in, we found treats, left for us. The hostess was very kind, she came in the evening and turned on the heating.
Thank you very much Ann, just ideal.
Ann’s apartment was wonderful! Great location with great facilities. Ann was a lovely host and even baked us soda bread!
Nothing
Apartment was immaculately clean, full of supplies for cooking if you choose. The host Ann even left us a full loaf of freshly baked hommade bread.
Beautiful apartment, clean and so comfortable. Everything was in it you could possibly need. Ann was a lovely host, and the beautiful homemade bread and other goodies were a lovely, much appreciated treat. The bed was super comfy, with lovely linen. It was a great shower with complimentary toiletries. Perfect location for discovering Killaloe/Ballina. I can't wait to stay at Ann's place again.
It was perfect!
Comfortable bed and nice shower.

Perfect place for a break away. Accommodation had all the home comforts. Teas, coffees, cereal, toiletries etc. there was even a home made soda bread left for us on our arrival. (Thank you Ann). Clean and comfortable and just a short walk to all the lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. We could even bring our little dog with us.
