Location
I booked originally the lighthouse hotel but due to renovations I was moved to another location different hotel within the chain BoBo. I booked classic room 23m2 with city view and was promised the rooms are the same at the alternative hotel. I got room 1213 a small room max 17m2 without space to open my luggage or to move around in the room.
Location
Construction, AC, hot water
Hello everyone. My wife and I stayed for 1 night including breakfast. We paid 1,700 NIS. And at a time when there weren't many people, the rooms were not clean and broken! And this was after we moved to a different room because the previous one was really broken! Even the TV didn't work properly! And the breakfast wasn't served hot and fresh! There are cheaper and much better hotels than this!!!!.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Our Stay at Your Hotel I am writing to express my deep disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. My visit was meant to be a special occasion as I was celebrating my 50th birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I had hoped for. Upon our arrival, after a two-hour drive, we had difficulty finding parking. However, the real frustration began at the reception, where we were left waiting for almost two hours without any response. This was an unacceptable start to what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. We had specifically booked a room with an indoor jacuzzi, but upon arrival, we discovered that the jacuzzi was too cold to use. This was extremely disappointing, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Additionally, while I was getting dressed in my room, a hotel staff member was standing right outside, working on the pool, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I was also expecting some acknowledgment of my birthday in the room, but the only thing provided was a small bottle of soda—hardly a celebratory gesture. Furthermore, the room lacked a coffee machine, the blanket was too thin for the weather, and overall, the amenities did not meet the standards we expected. The service at the reception was another major issue. The receptionist did not speak Hebrew, making communication very difficult. Additionally, the overall service throughout our stay was extremely poor, with no effort to accommodate or acknowledge the special occasion I had been looking forward to for so long. I am truly disappointed by this experience and expect an appropriate response from your side regarding these matters. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and take steps to improve your service for future guests. Looking forward to your response.
My review is mainly about spa in this hotel, but also about hotel's reception. We booked spa to celebrate birthday in a company of friends. When we came, spa reception was empty, no one explained to us where is what and didn't give us towels, etc. until we asked for it. There is no changing room, so we were offered to undress in the toilet that is only one. Also no real shower, also only one that was combined with toilet. In toilet I saw half-alive cockroach... Massage was super light so I barely felt it. Jacuzzi was dirty, its walls were sticky, and the water was smelly. Sauna didn't have a door so you can't really use it. When we asked on hotel's reception (as there was no one on spa's reception) about open jacuzzi, we were told that it's too small and 2 people can't fit in. All of this doesn't match the description about the spa that I was given when I made reservation. Due to this bad experience, we decided to cancel the second treatment, so I went to discuss it with hotel's reception. There was a girl called Adva, and she interrupted me multiple times while I was talking and also said something like "you hear what I tell you" that is unacceptable. What is even more unacceptable for reception in such level of hotel, is that Adva corrected my Hebrew when I made a mistake... To sum up, birthday was ruined, and I would never consider Lighthouse in Tel Aviv even as a hotel. I stayed once in Brown hotel in Jerusalem, and it was a great experience. But here this treatment on hotel's reception just killed me. On a positive side, the breakfast in the hotel was great, and also hotel's manager Kirill helped us to communicate with spa (that is managed by a different company) and cancel half of planned treatments without fee.
Everything was perfect We get best service The rooms were clean and the design very beautiful Its was very good experience
Adva was very nice and helpful
Breakfast ok. Everything else just Bad
The Room , the facilities
Thank you to Noor for a pleasant checkin experience:)
Very clean, great location, minutes from the beach front and restaurants near by.
Excellent staff, offered me everything I needed! Great service very helpful, the hotel and the room is clean in amazing location. Good price for value, very recommended.
Honestly nothing.
The hotel is in a great location. But it is a bit run down. The noise coming from other rooms, such as when another guest flushed a toilet, was quite loud. I had to ask for soap. Parts of the shower fitting came loose while it was being operated. There was a water leak in the hallway, and an odour.
Clean and very well situated
The windows did not close properly and it was very windy which caused whistling through the room and at one stage windows actually shook we thought they might crack
The hotel has certainly seen better times. Some things are not working properly, it is also very dark in the rooms, bathroom and common areas. Staff members are friendly and are trying to help
The hotel is very nice, good price, excellent staff and very good breakfast
Just a little too dark
Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Premium Price Our recent stay was unfortunately well below expectations. At 3 AM, we were awakened by excessive noise from the adjacent room - a group of guests having a loud party with music at full volume. While the front desk staff did respond after several attempts to contact them, their handling of the situation was ineffective. Instead of properly addressing the disturbance, they merely made a polite request to lower the noise. Predictably, the party resumed at full volume within 10 minutes. Only after a second complaint and more forceful intervention did the situation improve, but by then it was already 4 AM before we could finally get some sleep. Additionally, we discovered a severe plumbing issue with the sink leaking significantly, causing water to flood across the floor of our room. When addressing these issues with management the following morning, we received only a basic apology with no offer of compensation or resolution for our severely disrupted night. For a hotel charging premium rates, this level of service and problem management is unacceptable. The combination of ineffective noise control, maintenance issues, and poor resolution of guest complaints makes it impossible to recommend this property. Pros: - Good location Cons: - Poor handling of noise complaints - Maintenance issues (plumbing) - Inadequate response to guest concerns - Not worth the price point
Room was freezing and be warned no heating in the room on a cold night! 1hr waiting , 2 calls , not understanding and finally told they don’t even have a portable heater and tv not working Absolutely pathetic and rude We had a similar issue before with another lighthouse - no heating in winter
The location (even with all the construction works around it) is amazing. It's near the beach, near Carmel Market, and near a lot of amazing restaurants and bars.
I have stayed at the Lighthouse in the past and I usually got better rooms (this one was a corner room with the bathroom right in front of the bed and with a glass door).
rooms clean
no
Great breakfast and sea view
Around the location is a lot of construction and a little noisy
Adva and amit are great hosts , the hotel is amazing and i am here every week
The hotel is very stylish and beautiful to look at, and, it's in a wonderful location.
The room was just uncomfortable and it was style over comfort and common sense. The wardrobe was non existent. No drawers to put anything in. In the bathroom there were no drawers or shelves or anything to even put the wash/cosmetic bag on. The basin was so small it was hard to wash hands in without getting the clothes wet. the bed was only made (despite the "please make up this room" sign after we asked). Same for towels.
First of all, that smell was very bad all across the hotel. Second, we specially booked a room with a Jacuzzi for my birthday, that didn't work at all. There were no hot water at the shower. All the room was dusty, the floor panels were broken. All night long there was a vent noise that wouldn't let us sleep. I never had such a terrible experience before. 👎🏼
Good
The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Barbara and Vladimir. Great location walking distance to the beach. Breakfast has good variety.
The room was a bit small
A magical place in the middle of Tel Aviv. I was pleasantly surprised.
The nice staff. the dining room and the location.
Room was great except that the bed was too Big for the room - making it hard to get from one side of the room to the other.
The amazing staff ! Especially shoval for being such an amazing help !
The ability to actually attend to all my needs especially in a changing weather!
It was a quiet room and very relaxing Lovely breakfast!
Breakfast was fine.
Very poor maintenance, sleazy atmosphere. It was absolutely bad experience.
Our stay at this hotel was awful, and the service we received was unacceptable. Upon returning from an evening out, we entered our room to find the bathroom floor and the area near the entrance completely flooded with water. It seemed like a leak or burst from the wall, yet despite urgently requesting assistance, it took the hotel staff an hour (!) to respond. I had to call and go down to the reception multiple times, only for a staff member who barely spoke any Hebrew or English would finally show up. He attempted to clean the floor with a mop, leaving water behind and failing to address the source of the issue. When I asked him what caused the flooding and if it could happen again in the morning, he started blaming us, suggesting it was because we had somehow showered incorrectly and let the water leak out. Ridiculous. Only after my fourth trip down to the reception did a different staff member come up to the room and ask the original employee to clean again. Even then, it was poorly done, and it wasn't until a more competent employee arrived that we were finally somewhat reassured. This whole ordeal of going back and forth to the lobby, insisting they see the problem with their own eyes after a botched clean-up, was both exhausting and infuriating. The general state of cleanliness in the room was also appalling – stained sheets, filthy and broken floors, cracked walls, and a crumbling ceiling in the bathroom. Everything may look "clean at a glance," but a closer look reveals dirt and neglect everywhere. On the plus side, the location is convenient, and the food was ok, but the overall atmosphere in the hotel is dark and depressing. The rooms, corridors, and floors are painted in dark colors, seemingly more to hide flaws than to create any real ambiance. Avoid at all costs – save yourself, your peace of mind, and your wallet.
. The location is the best
I was here few years ago, it’s not the same. Disappointed

The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. There was a large variety and very nicely served. However, the color "black" was the theme color in the hallways and elevator areas which seemed to be a bit depressing. There is a lack of lighting in these areas in my opinion. The staff could have been nicer and more response to the guests. I never got a "Good Morning" from them in the lobby and there actions were plain and routine. Even the staff in the dining room, while helpful, were not very talkative or especially nice. They sweep the floor in the dining room while the guests are eating. The outside balcony area could be cleaner. In all, a nice stay but could have been more polite and responsive. The room was reasonable but not that unique. The view was nice, if you stand by the window all day. There is a disco in the building and this might bother you at 2 in the morning.
The color "black".
The service , was excellent specially guy name tamir that make our stay a wonderful and pleasant with a smile on his face and happily to assist in any request
Clean and nice reception
On the positive side, the hotel’s location is great. It’s just a short walk to the beach and right near the heart of the city center. You’re surrounded by all the main attractions—restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops are all within easy reach.
Experience quite disappointing, mainly due to the state of the room. The room was far from clean, with visible dust and dirt that made it feel neglected. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which only added to the issues. There was no correct lighting in the room, which was painted in black, creating a dark and uninviting atmosphere. Additionally, some of the staff do not speak English, which made communication challenging and added to the inconvenience.
The room we stayed has a really nice sea view but there was a little problem with the bath tub, there was a water flowing from it, if you could just check it for the convin
Great location Breakfast was really good
One of our rooms smelled of cigarettes.
Location and great food The hotel has a great city vibe
The room smelled of cigarettes
It’s clean and close to beach and all the staff was nice and friendly approach
שירות נהדר שח אדוה
This hotel is run-down and noisy. There is a club nearby at the same building that causes some noise. I arrived at night and although there is a 24 hr reception, it took them almost an hour to check me in .WHAT A CHAOS. The room was OK in size with a small window to the noisy junction. The room is run-down. Needs renovations. A lot of people walking the corridors at night making a lot of noise. It feels like a youth hostel rather than a hotel. I do realise that hotels in Israel are going through a tough time nowadays because of the war and lack of tourism but this is really unacceptable.
