Hotel Zentik Project & Saline Cave

La habitación era muy cómoda, la cama era suave y con almohadas extra, todo muy limpio y el baño con buena presión de agua. El espacio extra para leer o relajarse, un buen toque. La cueva con agua caliente es simplemente sensacional, me ayudó a relajarme y quitar algunas tensiones en los hombros. El personal es espectacular, muy amable y siempre atento. El no tener tv nos ayudó a descansar y relajarnos más. La heladería también es un gran toque y la alberca exterior es un espacio delicioso.

La limpieza en áreas comunes podría mejorarse, aunque entiendo que por los árboles es complicado. Al entrar, las sillas del restaurante se ven algo desgastadas pero la comida y el servicio son espectaculares.

I don't often give hotels a 10 but W-O-W. This one totally deserves it. AMAZING! Not one bad thing to say about it. If I had known this beforehand, I would've booked a longer stay. If we ever go back to Valladolid, I'm not even going to look at other options, this is the only option.

Dies ist ein besonderer Ort. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die bemühte Rezeptionistin hat uns bei Empfang die möglichen Touren ausführlich erklärt, wir waren sehr froh darüber, nicht selbst planen zu müssen und eigene geführte Touren in Rio Lagartos und Chitchen Itza für einen fairen Preis zu bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, wir haben auch sonst mehrfach im Restaurant gegessen, da das Essen außergewöhnlich ist. Es wird auch der hauseigene Meliponahonig verkauft. Die Schildkröten die in vorigen Rezensionen erwähnt wurden sind leider nicht mehr im Garten.

Das Schwimmbad fanden wir nicht so ansprechend. Wir waren in einem Erdgeschosszimmer untergebracht, das war etwas dunkel.

Un hôtel unique en son genre: au calme dans un jardin tropical, les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées, avec un coin salon, une terrasse, une grande douche, ventilateurs et air conditionné. Petits coins sympas partout dans le jardin: la piscine, les hamacs, le fish spa pour la pédicure, même une cabane à l'abri des regards pour les nudistes! Et bien sûr, la piscine souterraine chauffée unique en son genre! L'hôtel propose un glacier sur place (décoration incroyable en noir et blanc style BD) et un restaurant de qualité. Le personnel est serviable mais ne vous attendez pas à un service 5 étoiles aux normes internationales.

L'emplacement excentré (mais un taxi vous emmène au centre ville pour 50 pesos), l'absence de cafetière dans les chambres et l'impossibilité de boire un café au restaurant avant 7h30! On m'avait promis un petit déjeuner à emporter pour mon départ matinal mais personne n'était au courant à la réception. Equipements spartiates : pas de TV, pas de coffre, pas de matelas sur les transats. C'est un hôtel un peu roots/artsy qui ne conviendra pas à tout le monde.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un véritable coup de cœur au Yucatán ! Après avoir séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels au Mexique durant ce voyage, le Zenti’k Project est sans aucun doute celui qui m’a le plus marqué. J’y ai passé trois nuits, et avec le recul, j’aurais volontiers prolongé mon séjour. Tout est pensé avec goût : l’architecture, les jardins, les œuvres d’art, les espaces de détente et cette atmosphère paisible qui invite à ralentir. La célèbre piscine dans la grotte est une expérience à elle seule, mais l’ensemble de l’établissement dégage une personnalité unique. On sent qu’il ne s’agit pas simplement d’un hôtel, mais d’un lieu créé avec passion. Le restaurant mérite une mention particulière. La cuisine est tout simplement exceptionnelle : des plats raffinés, savoureux, mettant en valeur les produits locaux, avec un excellent service. Chaque repas a été un véritable plaisir. Le personnel a toujours été accueillant, souriant et disponible, contribuant à cette sensation de bien-être tout au long du séjour. Si je devais formuler un seul regret, ce serait de ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Cet hôtel est une destination en lui-même et constitue une excellente base pour découvrir Valladolid, Ek’ Balam, Chichén Itzá et les magnifiques cénotes de la région. Je recommande cet établissement sans la moindre hésitation. C’est le genre d’endroit dont on repart avec l’envie d’y revenir.

The grounds are gorgeous. The food is always delicious and the staff is attentive and eager to make your stay memorable.

There was an event that was happening in the grotto during the time of our stay. Sadly, had to pass on the grotto this trip because we didn’t want to spend the $700 mxp per person.

La "Cueva" una grotta sotterranea in stile sauna con una piscina di acqua calda, il ristorante per la colazione molto bello e la piscina fredda esterna comoda. Le camere sono normali, letto matrimoniale abbastanza comodo. Pulizia buona. In generale una buona struttura.

Camera al piano terra abbastanza afosa, va bene per una notte di passaggio.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We are genuinely shocked by the number of positive reviews, as our experience was completely different. The rooms are extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and far below what we would consider an acceptable standard. There is no proper ceiling, making the rooms unbearably noisy. Every conversation, animal sound, and movement from outside can be heard clearly, making it almost impossible to relax or sleep. The windows and doors are old and poorly sealed, with large gaps that allow insects and other animals to enter the room freely. To make matters worse, a bird had built a nest directly above our room in the roof, creating constant noise. We found mosquitoes and other insects on and around the bed, which was both disturbing and unhygienic. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of care from the staff. They were unfriendly, indifferent, and showed no interest whatsoever in addressing our concerns. We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The conditions were so unacceptable that we decided not to stay even a single night. What was most disappointing was that nobody seemed surprised by our complaints, nor did anyone make any effort to find a solution. It felt as though guest satisfaction simply does not matter here. We would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. There are far better options available. We cannot recommend this property under any circumstances.

Everything was amazing! We loved the cave with the hot water, the pool, the fish spa and the hammocks at the pool and especially the one in the room. The garlic shrimp in the hotel restaurant were amazing. Service was also great. We wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a paradise.

Breakfast, pool and the garden. The mural paintings in the garden gave this hotel a real different but lovely touch.

Es un gran lugar. Empezando por el restaurante, la comida es exquisita, precios decentes y porciones adecuadas. Me encanta el habanero y me prepararon chiles habaneros picados con limón, gran detalle. El servicio del SPA fue muy grato, total relajación. La alberca en la cueva estuvo excelente, agua caliente para relajarte previo al masaje. La habitación cómoda, buena limpieza, me encantaron las batas para ir y venir de la alberca o el spa.

This is one of the most beautiful accommodations we’ve ever stayed in Mexico, all comforts and amenities inside the rooms are provided as expected , comfy bed, good water pressure, courtesy soap and cream, big spaces, beautiful decoration, good water pressure, etc. The true value is in the architecture design that respects nature and inspires itself from the Mayan houses, the murals done by some of the best Mexican artists, the cave with heated pool, the swimming pool, the foot spa, the beautiful gardens, the swings, the massive swimming pool and the endless amounts of hammocks everywhere. We also had free breakfast that was very delicious served by very friendly staff. We absolutely fell in love with the space and will definitely come back

I love the massages there. I literally flight from Boston to spend a couple nights in Zentik before getting to my final destination in Merida. The saline cave is just amazing for relaxing and the concert that they do helps me to reconnect with myself. Do not skip the fish tank, it’s so relaxing to feel them in your feet. 🐟

The turtles are gone! I was told they took them away and that made me very sad. I hope you can bring them back if possible. Also I could add to deliver a couple of extra towels, that’s a personal choice and they give it if you ask but I feel better if they are just available when I get there. These are just personal choices I LOVE ZENTIK 🩷!

Hermoso hotel y excelente servicio. La alberca y la cueva hace que te desconectes de la ciudad o donde vengas. Relajación y una buena gastronomia en restaurante.

Si quieres ir al centro debes caminar aproximadamente 25 minutos o en coche 8 min del centro. Pero la distancia ayuda a que te desconectes de todo.

The underground pool.

The overall design of the inner yard, the cave and the dining area were very welcoming. Plus, they offered an umbrella for each room, that came in very handy when visiting the town or nearby sites in burning heat. Nice touch.

The shower had no shower head and it was full of scale. The safe in the room was uncomfortably put next to a 1 person bed, for which i had to lift up the mattress, in order to be able to open the safe door. The safe was not usable with code. I had to get the reset key from the receptionist and use that to always open and close the safe. There weren't too many places to hang our bathroom towels for drying, had to improvise a bit. The rooms overall are very simply equipped, no fridge for keeping cold water, rather rustic. And the lights are not very bright in the room, so if you are trying to perform any makeup or search something in your bag, you need to use your phone flahlshlight.

Um lugar charmoso para relaxar, com passarinhos e muita arte. Estávamos em dúvida se ir para esta cidade, mas ainda bem que escolhemos, pois foi incrível ver a cultura e descansar nesse espaço aconchegante e a equipe do hotel sempre incrível.

No deberían llamarlo Hotel Boutique. Es un hotel rústico chic por sus lugares instagrameables La calidad de las instalaciones es malo (baño, a/a, camas, etc) Es demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Hay usos de espacios que uno pensaría que son comunes (terrazas) que tiene costo adicional. Pocas actividades. Se siente saturado a pesar de tener pocas habitaciones Si quieres café, debes esperar hasta 7:30am que abra el restaurante

Es uno de los hoteles más maravillosos que he conocido. Todo es impresionante: la habitación, el exterior mezclando naturaleza y comodidad, la cueva de sal (cada noche, antes de dormir, un baño en la cueva era un pequeño paraiso relajante), la piscina, con sus tumbonas dentro y fuera del agua, el cuidado ecolológico, el spa de pececitos para los pies, los productos de baño orgánicos, el silencio, los murales, las abejitas meliponas, la amabilidad del personal, el restaurante, el delicioso desayuno... volvería a alojarme allí mil veces si pudiera
