La atención de Tomas siempre contesto consultas y dispuesto a solucionar algun inconveniente. Comoda casa para 4 personas dentro de un condominio lo que da mayor sensación de seguridad.

solo como comentario ya que es comprensible por tratarse un poblado en medio del desierto, la baja de tensión electrica y caida del wifi.

I LOVED my stay at Casa Adobe! The facility was basic, no meals provided, no TV etc. but it had parking for my rental car which would have been impossible at one of the many hotels and hostels 'downtown'. All my basic needs (water, snacks, paper towels, matches etc. ) were easily available from stores within a 2 minute walk and for grocery purchases, restaurants, tourist sites in town .... the downtown area was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk. The host, Tomas. was super helpful- excellent English speaker which helped me out immensely(!!) - and the facilities had everything I needed for a 2 week stay. I would book here again without hesitation - great value, great location and perfect host!

I had rented a Toyota Hilux 4WD vehicle, manual transmission, to allow me to explore the back roads in the Atacama Desert - it was a fairly large vehicle and it had been several years since I drove a manual transmission vehicle. The access to the parking spaces at Casa Adobe was fairly tight and on a couple of occasions I had to be VERY careful exiting the property so that I didn't hit one of the other vehicles parked along the access route. Once, a visitor to a neighbour's property completely blocked me in but Tomas, my host, responded to my message for help immediately and he contacted a resident property manager who cleared my path in under 15 minutes. The parking was a great feature of the property but a smaller vehicle would have made my life a little easier! :-)

Quiet, safe location with everything you need. Quite spacious. Good communication with the owner. Place to park. Not far from town centre, about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive.

Some windows didn't lock but area seamed safe

Pros: a decent abode appropriate for the local climate in a safe environment; a friendly and helpful staff; quiet sector in town.

Cons: (1) the toilet with mediocre function is not acceptable (toilet flush and seat cover need to be repaired/replaced); (2) the newly hired aid didn't change/wash the bed linen -> the blanket & duvet were full of human hair & other residues. The staff whom we met immediately apologized and tried to rectify the problem though.
