Hot water on the shower ran out fast on the morning of checkout. But was amazing the other days.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Sitting on the back deck listening to birdsong was a nice, relaxing start to our stay. The beds were comfy with great linens and the towels were super fluffy. The apartment is very clean and spacious with everything we needed. It was in the perfect location for our trip and as a bonus we could even charge our EV. Chris and Lesley were lovely hosts and we enjoyed chatting and meeting their dog.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2025Prior to arrivial the host was very prompt with messaging and accomodating. Chris was very friendly, he met us on arrival and showed us around. They had kindly left bread, milk and butter for us. The apartment was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfy and the shower was the best! Getting into town and out again was easy with an Uber. Thank you so much Chris and Lesley for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend

I needed a heater for my room which was provided when I asked. The hosts are very friendly, kind and accommodating. Stunning outlook. We will stay again.
The tv wifi dropped off often. Which made watching tv difficult.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2025Good spot close to waitomo and hobbiton. Chris was excellent and a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome.
Its a bit chilly in winter times which i think is fine with heated blankets and air pump, but with a baby it might have been a bit too cold but thats on us, we should have asked for a panel heater.

They messaged to say if we needed help finding the property to just ring and also got a message to say we could check in early. We were greeted by our lovely hosts, had Easter eggs hot, crossed Buns milk butter waiting for us. Had everything we needed and were so acomodating in everyday. The facilities were amazing!!! The scenery superb. Totally recommend this accommodation.

The loaf of vogels, milk, butter and condiments were a lovely touch. The back deck was amongst native bush which had an array of birds to listen to day and night. We would absolutely book here again.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2025The two bedrooms - both large - was perfect for our circumstances. Beds so comfortable and everything you could possibly need was there, including a dishwasher! Our host Chris was so kind. Not only was there a loaf of bread waiting for us, but it was actually Vogels!!

Lovely area by the pool, apartment has wrap around deck looking out to bush and a few sheep. High ceilings and floor size and good lighting makes a very spacious apartment. Rural Location - south of Hamilton meaning you can take in best of both worlds ( close to Raglan and also Hamilton City)

Reviewed Jun 17, 2024The property is spacious and was perfect for our requirements. The kitchen is well laid out and rooms were comfortable. The location is a little far away but worth the extra travel. The hosts were excellent and communication was great.
There is nothing not to like. Everything was great. Location is a bit out of the way but still not too far from our work venue. Overall an excellent solution for us and we hope to stay again in the future.

Arrived in a thunderstorm & extremely windy, unfortunately a large branch blocked the driveway.Owner contacted & came with a chainsaw straight away to allow me out. Greatful for a carport to store my car away from the wind. Condiments in the kitchen fabulous. Good quality linen used. Thank you for a lovely stay.
