L'appartement n'était vraiment pas ce à quoi on s'attendait. Pas du tout comme sur les photos. Manque d'espace.

We stayed in gigi apartment. The views of Eiger and the town are spectacular. The new feel of the room as they have been renovated. The reception and staff in the main hotel are very kind and efficient with their service and responding to our queries. There is an equipped kitchenette with all the basic features you will need. Washing machine, dryer and laundry soap are all free for use at anytime before 10pm which helped a lot.

It is self serviced unit, make sure you bring your own coffee/tea, milk, the very basic cooking ingredients like cooking oil/butter. It is up on quite a steep hill plus there are at least 10 steps to get to the apartment but if you are fit enough or have a car you are fine.

המיקום משגע. כל כך יפה. נוף נשקף מכל החלונות. יש עלייה קצרה מעט קשוחה ברגל למי שלא מגיע עם אוטו. אלא מתחנת הרכבת . אבל לגמרי שווה את המאמץ. מטבח מאובזר היטב. סלון נעים אמבטיה נקייה. מרפסת עם נוף נהדר. יש מספיק מקום בחדר השינה גם לתלייה של בגדים וגם לבגדים מקופלים.

המיטה הייתה ממש לא נוחה. המזרון קפיצים היה לא מאוזן ובחלקו ממש שקוע. חבל מאוד , זה קלקל את כל החוויה. ממש כדאי לעשות בקרה על הדברים האלה. ואחרי זמן מה לדאוג לתחלופה ראויה אם מזרון נשחק ככה. השינה שלנו הייתה לא טובה.

The Glen was a little slice of heaven. We really enjoyed our time there. The location to public transport was incredible.

The location and the views were the biggest highlights of our stay. The property is within walking distance of Grindelwald Terminal, which makes it very convenient for accessing the cable cars and exploring the surrounding area. The views from the property were absolutely amazing and made the stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities we needed. The staff were also friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with throughout our stay.

One thing to keep in mind, especially if you are travelling with heavy luggage, is that the property is located uphill from the terminal. While it is walkable, pulling suitcases uphill can be a bit challenging. There is also no lift in the property, so depending on which floor your room is on, you should be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. That said, the elevated location is also what gives the property its wonderful views

No breakfast, the kitchenette with the fridge and stove was beneficial. The washer and dryer were a great service.

We were directed to reception to pick with the lockbox code to access the door fob at the property, which could have been messaged. From the reception, there was a 20 minute walk to the room and we were exhausted, so they charged 15 francs for the shuttle to take us to the room. In the room was a pass for free city bus.

整體來說還是很舒適的！而且非常感謝飯店裡面的櫃檯人員，每個人都很友善，很願意推薦登山步道跟玩樂項目！

浴室有點小，刷牙漱口的洗臉盆跟鏡子的距離很窄所以很容易撞到，需要小心。此外我們預定的房型剛好有樓梯到樓中樓的床，所以離天花板很近，家人有撞到。樓梯也可能相對危險需要注意。

Appartamento spazioso, ben tenuto, con bellissimo balcone e posto auto. Vista molto bella. Non in centro, ma comodissimo per gli impianti.

Mi avevano promesso cuccia e ciotola per il mio cane, ma una volta arrivati in camera non abbiamo trovato niente per lei. Viaggiamo spesso con il nostro cane e questa è la prima volta che capita una cosa del genere, siamo rimasti molto delusi. Inoltre CHF30 in più a notte per un cane che non ha utilizzato nulla dell'hotel mi sembra davvero esagerato. L'hotel è lontano dal paese, per noi è andata bene così, ma in generale lo staff dovrebbe avvertire che gli ospiti possono trovare dei negozi al terminal lì vicino anche perché lasciano SOLO 2 capsule di caffè, perciò si è obbligati a trovare un supermarket se si desidera bere del caffè in stanza. Magari lasciare una confezione intera di capsule farebbe sentire più coccolati gli ospiti.

Die Lage oberhalb der Bahnstation Grindelwald Grund ist optimal für den Transfer ins Skigebiet. Balkon mit Aussicht auf die Eigernordwand. Es ist nicht weit zur Bahnstation und auch zur Drehscheibe "Terminal" mit direkter Verbindung nach Lauterbrunnen, Männlichen und Eigergletscher/Jungfraujoch. Ziemlich grosse Distanz zum Ortszentrum. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Check-in und Check-out waren sehr einfach (Checkliste per Mail).

Die Platzverhältnisse im Appartement waren inakzeptabel - Abmessungen Dusche inkl. Duschwanne ca. 80cm x 220cm. Ständig stösst man sich irgendwo an. Zum Schlafraum gelangt man über eine sehr schmale, steile "Hühnertreppe". Wegen der Dachschräge und der niederen Deckenhöhe stösst man sich den Kopf beim Aufstehen und Zubettgehen. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist nicht für richtiges Kochen ausgelegt, wichtige Utensilien fehlen, z.B. auch Geschirrspüler. Es hatte keinen Kleiderschrank, sondern nur einen Garderobenständer. Die Matratzen waren dünn und sehr unbequem. Kein Kabelnetz-TV mit öffentlichen Sendern, sondern nur Internet-TV mit 1000 unnützen Privatsendern. Vor Ort keine Unterlagen zum Ort, zur Infrastruktur, zum ÖV etc. verfügbar (z.B. Anleitung TV, ÖV-Fahrpläne etc.). Insgesamt schlechtes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wenn in Grindelwald-Grund Schnee liegt, läuft man in nur 5min nur Piste. Falls kein Schnee läge, stellen wir uns den Weg zum Terminal mit Skiern eher beschwerlich vor (liegt an einer steilen Straße).

In der Beschreibung ist ein Skiraum angegeben, es ist allerdings nur eine Waschküche ohne Skiständer, Bank etc. und lässt sich deshalb kaum als Skiraum bezeichnen.

Très bel appartement, propre et bien décoré. Proche de la station de train et de la fin de piste.

Dépôt de garantie de 500.- CHF par appartement à faire + plusieurs mails annonçants déjà avant l’arrivée que des frais de 100-150.- seraient déduits si l’appartement n’était pas rendu dans la façon souhaitée (vaisselle lavée, poubelle sortie, cuisine propre etc.).

Our experience was below expectations. Unfortunately, the bedsheet was not clean and there was an unpleasant smell. The listing mentioned ironing facilities, but we couldn’t find any. When we asked about it, we were told they were in the facilities room, but all the cabinets there were locked and couldn’t be accessed. Compared to our previous stay at another property in Grindelwald, the price here felt quite high for the quality and service provided.

Het "appartement" was meer een kleine hotelkamer met een keukentje. Het is erg gehorig. Je hoort steeds de deuren hard dichtvallen. Lukt bijna niet om dit stil te doen, vooral de entree. Dit is vervelend. Matras is aan vervanging toe. De badkamer was zo klein dat haren fohnen niet lukt met de deur dicht. Badkamer is oncomfortabel klein. De stoeltjes op het terras zien er leuk uit, maar na een hele dag op pad zitten ze erg oncomfortabel.

Everything was lovely about the place.good facilities, very clean great location near to Grindlewald Terminal station.To top it off the view of the Eiger mountain from our balcony was amazing.

The only small issue for us was a little poor communication with the host. Also the exact position of the place was a little misleading. Should be made clear its near Grindlewald Terminal not Grindlewald itself. This however should not put anyone off from staying here as we would highly recommend it.

Het was allemaal wel erg krap, vooral het wasbakken in de douche. Je kon er je tanden nauwelijks in poetsen dan zat je met je hoofd tegen de spiegel.

The employees are not very cooperative. (Immediately after booked the hotel from booking I got a call from the hotel inform me they don't accept booking through bookin.com because they experienced a fraud in booking payments, which I found very strange. The self check in instructions where not clear. While booking I chosed a hotel apartment. When i arrived I was informed that my booking is for an apartment is not in the Hotel. I was given an apartment about 7 minutes driving from the hotel in a very dark area uphill. I was given the wrong location for the apartment. I had to search in the dark mountain's narrow roads. I could not find it. I went back to the hotel to seek assistance. The hotel employee came with us. And she was lost herself. After more than one hour, she was able to locate the apartment. And asked us to take her home and come back to the apartment. The toilet was so small you can't even wash your face in it. (check the attached photos). It was a very bad start and unpleasant experience.

Very well equipped for a small apartment. Made it feel not small at all! All communication with reception staff, before and during our stay, was friendly and helpful. Easygoing place - free laundry facilities. View was awesome 👍

We had a fantastic weekend in Grindelwald! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and in a quiet area with stunning views. Check-in and check-out were very smooth, everything was just perfect!

I needed a quick getaway to disconnect, and this apartment was just perfect. It’s so cozy, and the location is absolutely breathtaking, exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Totally recommended!

My partner and I spontaneously decided on a ski day in Grindelwald thanks to the amazing weather, and we were so lucky to find this apartment! Everything was perfect, especially the easy access to the ski lift at Grund Station. The apartment has everything you need—we totally recommend it!

Make the washing machine free, I did not have coins!

1.The Glen Chalet property chalet is up a very steep service road. In winter with snow unless you have snow chains you will not be able to park your vehicle at the chalet. You will need to carry by hand all ur luggage approx 75m.Attempting to traverse the access road without chains is very dangerous. This is not referenced in the booking info. 2.The Grindi apt in the Glen chalet is on the 3rd floor. This is not referenced in the booking info.There is no lift. 3.The Grindi apt in the glen chalet is very small with limited height in the bedroom area . For max 2 small persons.

My partner and I stayed in the apartment for a couple of nights. We enjoyed that the apartment is in a very quiet and peaceful spot, just what we were looking for. It is clean and cozy and beautifully decorated, with a lot of thought put into every detail. It really felt like home. We totally recommend it!

The original property that we booked was awful. It was matchbox size and anyone could barely shower or use the bathroom. There was reeking smell of smoke and to make it worse, there were property maintenance including paints and treatments next to the room. When asked the staff, they said I have sensitive nose. They were asking me to leave the property and were okay refunding 90% of my payment and find another accomodation after I’ve arrive there (their audacity). I was forced to pay additional amount to upgrade as I had no other choice. The location isn’t great either.

Booking this property was a nightmare. They don’t payment through booking.com directly. Later they ask you to deposit additional amount in their bank account. Their check out instructions sound like warnings!

The kitchen, room, and bathroom were all relatively new. Cooking ware, utensils and such were all provided and were in near new conditions. The closeness to Grindelwald Terminal (gondolas to Jungfraujoch and Mannelichen) was good.

The room was very small and same for the bathroom. The shower barely fit one person and the sink in the bathroom was completely underneath the mirror cabinet, making it difficult to use. The shower water switched from cold to hot to cold very frequently. The laundry machine was located in a weird room on the first floor and was confusing to operate. The property was also located fairly far away from the center of town (where Grindelwald, First etc are located), though is only a 5-10min walk from Grindelwald Terminal and Grund station. It is also on a VERY steep hill though the views are great.

Excellent location near the Grindelwald Terminal. We enjoyed the spacious apartment with balconies on both sides offering great views of the town and mountains.

Huge security deposit taken before check in and in addition, too many rules regarding the cleaning of the apartment before checkout with constant threats of security deposit deductions.
