Great size with a beautiful balcony with views all around. Simply Stunning! Good size kitchen and bathroom. And very grateful to be able to wash and dry our clothes. Veey friendly and lovely host 👌

Very hilly for bags but grateful for the free bus and the warmth of Magdalena to drive us to the station.

The host is incredibly welcoming and kind. Fabulous location. The only thing to bear in mind is neighbours above who wake up early, if you are a light sleeper the footsteps will wake you - out of hosts control and not reflected in our review. Would stay again.

Location was beautiful and very peaceful with amazing views. The bathroom and kitchen were lovely and had everything we needed to cook basic meals. Even a dishwasher. Located down a steep hill from the village with buses running every hour. We chose to walk but should have waited for a bus with our luggage. Our host Magdalena drove us back to the train station when we were leaving which was very generous of her.

The pillows were a bit too soft

A beautiful Swiss chalet with an amazing view of the Eiger. A short but steep walk into town or right by a bus stop. The home was very spacious and had everything we needed

A really small thing for us was the pillows. There was only one each and they went very flat when lying on the.

I had an amazing stay at Endweg Homestay. The place offers excellent views that truly elevate the entire experience — waking up to those sights was a highlight of the trip. The host was exceptionally warm, helpful, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. The home itself is beautifully furnished, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. It strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style, making it feel both homely. The host also dropped us at the station on our way back which very kind and thoughtful of her. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area — I would gladly stay here again! Remember if your travelling with heavy baggage you can take bus 123 and get down at the Glacier stop, ie second stop.

Loved everything,

The host was friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to fetch us to the train terminal. The view from the apartment was superb 👌

The view is amazing ! The facilities are good!

This is our second time staying in Magdalena's place and we love it. Close to the Grindelwald center to walk but far enough away to experience the true beauty of Grindelwald. We would stay here over and over, you can't beat the view at all. We love it!

NA

Bovendien was Magdalena erg vriendelijk!

Nulla

This property is in a stunning location! We really couldn't have asked for anything better - it was truly magical! The apartment was just perfect - all the facilities you could need, very clean and superb location!

I can't think of anything that we didn't like about this place!

Apartament w pełni wyposażony, przestronny i czysty.

We had a very comfortable, relaxing week and had everything we needed in the apartment. The view was fabulous and Grindelwald is a lovely small town.

So much room, very clean, friendly helpful owner, outstanding location.

Nothing

Absolutely fantastic place. Views. Room to settle in. Good kitchen. Everything suited our needs.

Everything! One of the best little homes I've ever stayed in!

Amazing location, with spectacular views. Close to town but also just far enough away to feel like an authentic Swiss alp home stay. Surrounded by nature, simply stunning. The host was lovely, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Everything

Nothing

Everything. Superb apartment. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Magdalena was a lovely lady as well.

Nothing

Everything was perfect.

Absolutely no faults.

Many properties in Grindlewald are on steep hills. This is not. This one is an easy 5 minute walk or bus ride to town center. Easy access to buses and trains. Our host is amazing and has included every comfort. I felt very safe, and the kitchen facilities were stocked above most places I’ve stayed.

Although the apartment is a bit far from the train station and requires a bus ride to reach, it offers a fantastic view. On the day of our checkout, the host kindly drove us to the train station, which was a great help. She is an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice view and great host

Foot step from above floor

Magdalena is a superb host. Her chalet is exceptionally clean, cozy, and filled with warmth. The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the bus stop and close to both Grindelwald Terminal and Bahnhof. Truly a hidden gem!

None!

great welcome from the owners, excellent place.

Clean, cozy, and nice host

Little bit far from station, but it was not big deal since she made us get on her car when we check out

The Endweg apartment near Grindelwald station, with a beautiful view of the Eiger mountain from the window. Large bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Suitable for coming as a family. Complete all facilities. The host is very kind. She help with everything. Very good memories at here Grindelwald Switzerland, I will go back to stay here again. And finally, I would like to thank to Miss Magdalena. You are super host!!

Swiss chalet style, stunning views

No tea, coffee, milk or sugar to get started on arrival.

We loved everything! This was a true Swiss Chalet overlooking beautiful mountains, lush green fields and other Chalets. The kitchen was well equipped, instructions for directions were clear and a local bus route was a short walk away to take us up to the main village. Our hostess got back via a message straight away after we had queried a couple of things. Good wifi.

everything！

how time flies!

Look old but new inside Full facilities and the host is very nice and helpful Very good view from the window. Highly recommended.

The place was very spacious, clean and well organized. The host gave a nice warm welcome 😊

Everything! The apartment is very spacious and clean. We felt like it was our real home for a few days. Magdalena as a host is very accommodating too. We super love the whole place and ambience outside. Would definitely come back!

Clean and spacious room

Magdalena was very friendly and accommodating to us, letting us use all of the facilities, borrow her sleds to take up the mountains etc. The apartment was one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in. Unreal views, perfect location, couldn't have asked for more. Will be staying here again!

Great location in Grindelwald with a fantastic view from the living area. The apartment was dog friendly, had all the facilities we required and was very clean. It was very homely, warm and perfect for our winter break. The hosts met us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us round and answered any questions we had. They are very friendly and helpful. There is parking, a free bus up the road and the train stations aren't too far to walk to

Honestly nothing

Absolutely lovely place, has everything you need and has a really good location - easy to the the bus or quick drive to the main road (noting there is not much parking available). It's also a 15min easy walk to the Grindelwald Terminal. Magdalena was great, super responsive and easy to deal with. The house is super nice and feels like a true home (and the views out the windows are great!) There is parking (free) right in front of the property.

Nothing!

Our stay at Magdalenas apartment was absolutely delightful. We fell in love with the apartment and its incredible view. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and charm of the place. The apartment was cozy, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit. There's no need to think twice—just go ahead and book it! The combination of the lovely apartment and the incredible view is truly unbeatable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're already dreaming about our next visit. Thank you to Magdalena for making our stay so memorable! Plus. Magdalena is truly kind in dropping us off at the station

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, but make sure to bring Swiss adaptor or purchase one upon your arrival to ensure you can charge your electronic devices.

The property was cozy and spacious, offering great views of the mountains and surrounding hillsides. Magdalena was welcoming and made us feel right at home in her space. It is about a 10 minute walk from the city center, which is also serviced by a bus at a nearby hotel.

Just a little difficult to get uphill in the snow with a small suitcase. Just keep this in mind if you prefer taxi or bus

Magdalena was a perfect host . Our 1 bedroom apartment was wonderful. Cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was perfect!!

Everything!

It's a really beautiful apartment in a beautiful country. The views from the apartment are amazing. Nice, spacious and clean space. Great location for visiting nearby beauty spots. Would love to visit again, someday.

Not really a dislike but an observation - Would have liked to see some tea, coffee, salt, pepper provided. Provision of Tea/coffee would be a very nice touch and I am sure guests would really appreciate it.

Everything was amazing. I don’t have anything bad to say. When we come again we will definitely be staying here again!

One tiny tiny thing I would have preferred was some sort of robe/gown to put on. It’s a little chilly out there.

Magdalena was very kind and the accommodation was great!! Thank you so much for taking me to the station when I checked out

Endweg is a Beautiful stay! The apartment is adorable and the view is spectacular!! I highly recommend it!! It has a great kitchen with all the extras you need, and an adorable living room where the view overlooks a giant mountain and beautiful valley!

Nothing

Love the typical Switzerland home style The view outside of the house Magdalena let us feel warm & love 💕 Strongly recommended here

Absolutely no

Very homely and cosy with fabulous views, everything you need and friendly hosts. Close to everything. Real Swiss experience

Nothing

Dreamy location.. Accessible yet isolated and amidst the mountains offering spectacular and direct views. Clean, spacious, rustic and charming decor. We didn't meet the hostess until checkout but she was very friendly and responsive to messages. Would definitely consider returning.

Only Minor things- a few things in the kitchen, like the kettle need updating. Basic cooking oil, soap would have been nice. But overall it was still fantastic.

The location and views were fantastic. The property had everything you needed and was very comfortable

Leaving

Like my home!

quiet environment, satisfying equipment, and warm hospitality

none

The chalet is set a little apart from the main town of Grindelwald on a very quiet lane, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. It is perfectly set up for two people and very well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony after a long day's walking. The host, Magdalena, was very friendly and even drove us up the (very steep) hill to the train station at the end of our stay.

I can't think of a single thing that could be improved.

excellent location. the view is stunning

perfect! amazing place !

Everything was pefect! we felt like home!

very beautiful view and super friendly host. everything perfect stay. thank you again

love everything, nothing we don’t like

A beautiful Swiss appartment with a great view of the Eiger & hillside homes.

gorgeous place, super spacious and everything was thought of

The property was just perfect to get the feel of the place. The views are stunning. The home is beautifully decorated with complete kitchen and bathroom set up. The check in and check out was very easy. The host - Magdalena was very kind and always responsive. She even offered us a free drop to the train station which was a saviour for the luggage we had. Thank you for the amazing experience.

The bus accessibility from home to station isn't very frequent. Have to walk nearly a kilometre to get around 1 way. Wish the weather was good as we dint get clear views at Grindelwald First.

View of the mountains from the kitchen window was picture perfect! The apartment is very spacious. Being able to use the washing machine and dryer for free was great. There were two tvs (one in the lounge and one in the bedroom). Large modern bathroom. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook with. Reasonable walking distance to the main centre of town and the First cable car station. Guest / Visitor pass provided gives free access to buses but they don’t come that regularly. So we ended up walking most of the time. The host gave us a free lift to train/bus station at check-out which was kind. Apartment was warm enough in the cooler weather. Mattress feel was a medium. Bed was large.

There was a massive hole in the road, and barriers were put up to prevent all access, which made it impossible to even walk along the road to access the apartment. Had to figure out ourselves that we needed to walk down the grassy hill (at end of another hotel’s carpark) to reach it. Had to pay a fee for paying for the accommodation via credit card. Weren’t advised of these things in advance though. No breakfast, tea or coffee was provided (as per the booking.com description), but there is a Co-op about 10-15min walking distance away so it wasn’t an issue for us.

A cosy apartment with lovely host. Located just a few minutes walk from the train station or bus terminal. Awesome view from the apartment. 😊

A short walk from the main village but a feeling of being really out in the country, with the mountains to ourselves…and the cows. A warm comfortable stay with very welcoming hosts. Getting dropped at the station was a thoughtful touch. 😁 Really glad we chose Grindelwald as we had lots of fun on First but also enjoyed visiting nearby but smaller Lauterbrunnen.

The view, the view, the view!
