Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Nice room with outdoor space and a fabulous view over the harbor. We were provided with breakfast supplies for the duration of our stay which included yogurt, granola, fruit, bread, coffee and milk. Our hosts, Leigh and Ian, were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with two great recommendations for restaurants. We'd stay there again if we get back to Nelson.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Stylish accommodation with a fabulous view. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed. Lovely to have breakfast on the verandah, or read a book as the sun went down. Leigh was the perfect host.
Some fruit juice with the breakfast food would have been welcome. By chance, we had brought some with us, so not a big deal.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026We liked everything about this property, from its outstanding views, luxurious feel and the friendly & helpful owners. The location is equidistant between the town centre & main beach, & there are several places to eat within easy walking distance.
As the property is close to the waterfront, which the main road runs next to, there is some traffic noise.

The parking was not suitable for a lot of cars. Had to park on the road. Not our ideal place to leave a car. Was explained on the arrival information before we arrived.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2025The hosts Ian and Leigh were really lovely and offered lots of advice on where to visit. The house is stunning with an absolutely knockout view from the veranda. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. There is a fridge stocked with breakfast foods, tea and Nespresso machine. We ate at the Boat Shed and Nahm - literally a stroll away but remember to book a table - food and service at both was excellent. Drove to Kaiteriteri beach during the day - amazing tidal system with sandbars and access to different coves as the tide ebbs - stunning views! All in all an excellent few days.

Very awkward off-street parking. Lack of kitchen facility, meant you have to wash breakfast cutlery in the bathroom sink.
