Fantastic location right in the heart of Kinsale. We were upgraded to the postmaster suite, which was huge and beautifully outfitted with period furniture.
Although we expected it to be an antique, the room was also a bit tired in places (e.g., it could do with new carpet and upholstery). There was a lot of street noise overnight, but that was to be expected in an older building during a weekend in central Kinsale.

Everything else
Staff were excellent and responded promptly to an issue we had. Nice breakfast
Book a room at the back of the hotel- street noise and issue at weekends. Over priced for what it is- more a B&B than hotel
Très bel hôtel dans le centre de kinsale. Dans un style New England. La chambre était belle et spacieuse mais la salle de bain nécessiterait un rafraîchissement Rien qui ne gâche l'expérience néanmoins.
Convenient location
Decor very tired and heating was not working in bathroom. The window frame in bedroom was damaged leading to a large draught in room during a very cold spell.
Nice central location and helpful staff
It is a satellite hotel to the Blue Haven just up the road, there were no reception services at the hotel everything is managed at the Blue Haven not in house. Requiring visits up and down the road. The rooms and bathrooms feel old and in need of refurbishment
Nice and comfortable
Check in process confusing.
Lovely comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast.
Shower in the bath is an issue- hard to prevent water spilling out onto the floor.
Location
Creaking floorboards
The full Irish breakfast was the best I have ever tasted. Staff in the dining room were friendly and efficient
The room decor was very tired and needed a refurb. the drawers were missing handles so it wasn't possible to open one of them. The bathroom window was painted shut so not possible to open it. The bathroom radiator didn't work. The sink taps had to be turned twice before any water came out. The shower which was above the bath leaked and wet the floor. the tiles above the bath were full of mould (due to lack of ventilation as the window wouldn't open)

Location
Not the cleanest. We were also assured on booking we would have two single beds but were given a large double
Location, facilities and comfort.
Location to attractions.
The room was hot even with radiators turned down. The room was very small.
Die Lage war super
Die Ausstattung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen . Und der Teppich war sehr fleckig. Bett unbequem . Der Boden hat sehr geknarzt und vom Flur und von der Straße war es sehr hellhörig und laut .
The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The location was amazing. The person who checked us in was very friendly and sweet.
The noise from the street was really loud and the light from the street lights was really bright.
Loved the vibe and location and hospitality.
Excellent location in the center of town. Nice café. The bathroom has a bath with shower and plenty of hot water. Elevator, so didn't have to struggle upstairs with luggage.
We arrived on a Wednesday, the day that the weekly market uses the car park across the street from the hotel. It took a while to find another place to park, and then get our luggage to the hotel. Tourist Information was great. The woman there told us where the closest free carpark was where we could leave our car for our stay.
Suite with very tall ceilings, large windows looking out to street, spacious seating areas with couches, & complimentary chocolates. Downstairs breakfast area and coffee shop with tasty offerings. Small staff were pleasant.
Large bed was two twins pushed together that was not overly comfortable. Reception is up a flight of staffs and staff not always onsite. Appears to be incorporated with another hotel ownership group with another property down the street.
So ziemlich alles
Die Unterkunft hat leider keinen eigenen Parkplatz und die nächsten freien Parkplätze sind einige Gehminuten entfernt.
We were welcomed warmly by Judy and she gave us a stunning room. It was so big with two digas and a view to the bay. The bed was extremely comfortable. It made visiting Kinsale a joy knowing we could come back and relax there.
The location & friendly staff.

Quality of room Location in centre of town Lift to floor
No assigned car parking - public parking is available at a cost of but limited to 2 hours during day Bed had a foot board- tall people beware
La amplitud de la habitación se merece un 10
Las vistas de la habitación eran muy deficientes. Daban a la parte trasera y a la escalera de incendios.
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Kinsale, the staff here and at the Blue Haven, it's sister and bigger hotel are very helpful. Breakfast was good, even though the breakfast area was a bit run down and basic.
We collected the key from the Blue Haven hotel as there was no member of staff available after 5.30pm - which means there is no help or assistance with suitcases or baggage, as parking outside is a real problem this becomes a real issue if you have to carry a number of suitcases and suit carriers some distance as we did. The room was pretty basic particularly the bathroom, it had a very poor shower in the bath with an old fashioned shower curtain. I tried to open two of the drawers in the bedroom and the handle simply came off in my hand. However the real problem, which isn't the fault of the hotel is the noise, we had a room [ No 11 ] at the front of the hotel and we had a very noisy neighbour in Room 10. He was talking loudly until the early hours and then decided to continue this conversation with someone on his phone outside directly below our room - this was at 2.45am and it went on until 3,30pm until he came back up to his room and finally went to bed. You couldn't close the window at the front so all the noise of traffic and this guy's noisy conversation travel up into the room. We had very little sleep but as there is no member of staff on duty you can't complain to anyone.
Great location. Fantastic breakfast
There was no air conditioning and it was quite warm. The room was a bit cluttered. which didn’t help. We could not contact anyone after hours even though there was supposed to be someone contactable. With windows open the street noise was bad. Alarms going off and crowd noise. Location was good. Parking is an issue.
Location. Our host reserved seats for us at the sister hotel for dinner and the Wednesday night show! It was so much fun and dinner was delicious as was the hotel lounge/reseraurant.
Our room faced the back of the property--nothing to really look at
Fantastic location, nicely furnished quiet room.
Our bed probably needs replacing (room 33) but our friends said theirs was the best bed ever!!
The location; HC accessible; WIFI & clean
No staff at location. You had to go to a 2nd location (sister hotel) for assistance & check in. This was not clear at time of booking & was problematic when you have nowhere to park, need to unload items & are traveling with a person with mobility issues
The room was beautifully decorated, good facilities, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and perfect. The location was terrific and as promised, there was plenty of parking out the back of the hotel.
Nothing I can think of.
location was perfect, lovely breakfast.
A lovely large room with a comfortable bed. Pretty good location in the coastal town and a downstairs cafe .

It’s a good location and the coffee was nice
The bedroom was so hot and the window didn’t open. There was an old fan that was too noisy to use.

Lovely stay for a quick night in kinsale. The reception was fantastic! Beds were very comfortable
Excellent location
Room we stayed in was nothing like the images we viewed, it was basic, paid €233 for one night stay which did not include breakfast, not value for money.
Very friendly receptionist (Jude)
Nothing
A good place to stay with reasonably spacious rooms.
We arrived late in the evening so had no interaction with any staff members. Great location, and easy parking just across the road.
The room faced the main street so extremely noisy from 6am with delivery trucks etc.
Ideal location on the harbour. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Extensive breakfast options. All staff were very pleasant.
A great little town. The hotel was right in town. Close to shops, restaurants and walks.
Staff were fantastic - gave great recommendations for restaurants in Kinsale, and even for courses at restaurants. Location was perfect.
Very Central
A lot of noise from the street outside late at night
Location
I have stayed here a few times before the location is excellent, right in the centre of town. When we arrived there was no one at reception and a lovely guy that was cleaning saw us and he rang and got someone to check us in. Staff were friendly and helpful
The decor is a bit tired , the mattress was quite soft, the floors were squeaky. It's an old building so that is to be expected. The shower pressure is very weak. The quests in the room next door came back at 3am and woke us up as they were talking loudly. Not much the hotel can do about it but it's just that you can hear everything!
Beautiful room , great location , friendly and very helpful staff
The room was amazing and big and clean ! Coffee facilities were great Staff were lovely breakfast was delicious Location is great Second time we have stayed here ! We would recommend to all !

Very clean and comfortable room.
Check in after 4pm. It was loud at 6am when they were loading up at the grocery store.

Late check in
Location
No iron in room, when asked for same took 70 mins to arrive.
Our whole experience at The Old Bank was incredible from beginning to end. I booked the trip for my Mam's birthday and the staff pulled out all the stops for us. A special thank you to Jude the reservations manager for taking such good care and for her attention to detail during our stay, my Mam felt like a Queen after the fantastic treatment we received. We greatly appreciated all the flexibility especially as we arrived later than expected due to the weather. We are already looking forward to our next stay. The beds were fantastic and even though the room was front facing we heard no noise from the road outside. A special thank you to Agata the duty manager in their sister hotel the Blue Haven where we dined. The food and service was impeccable, we were blown away by all of it during our midweek stay. Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
Having to leave! We wished we could have stayed longer. This place is definitely worth staying 2+ nights in.
The shower was poor
Perfectly placed in the heart of town. We loved having coffee right downstairs each morning and the room was wonderfully spacious.
Lovely location and room, staff were very friendly
Room a little cold at the start but heated up very quickly
The location is so central and the room was very comfortable.
Old worldly vibe, and wonderful friendly staff at the sister hotel who aided us in check-in
Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Location couldn't be better. Bonus of free parking across the street in December
Small fridge in room would be nice
Location, building, staff
Absolutely nothing
Shower in bath. Bedroom carpet was very stained.
We loved the location and the room
The heating was up high
