We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot thank the team enough. The staff went completely above and beyond, showing us incredible kindness, care, and assistance throughout our entire time there. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea was beautiful and our calligraphy lesson had quickly become a highlight of our stay. Thank you Alice for your patience and the laughs. Das Hotel ist in einem ursprünglichen Hutong und hat seinen eigenen Charm. Das Personal spricht gut englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Hervorzuheben ist der Nachmittags Snack zwischen 14.00 und 21.00 Uhr. Wer ein besonderes Übernachtungserlebnis haben möchte ist hier richtig. Weiter liegt die Unterkunft sehr zentral und die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit der U Bahn gut erreichbar. Auch gibt es ausreichend Restaurants und Street food fußläufig.

The staff were exceptional in terms of kindness, hospitality and effort levels. We also really enjoyed the location of the hotel (right on the hutong hub). The offering of breakfast, afternoon tea & snacks as well as 24 hr drinks (ie: coffee, tea & water) was a bonus. We loved the ambience and hotel amenities. Great value and would definitely recommend this facility and return again.

This isn’t the fault of the hotel, but the location of our room was next to the main entrance. As a result, we could often hear a lot of the travellers talking and getting ready to exit first thing in the morning. This was a bit disturbing when it was very early.

The ladies of the reception were lovely. They helped us to organize our trip to the great wall and to different restaurants. Each morning we were introduced to a typical great Chinese breakfast with wantan soup and porridge. In the afternoon we sat on the roof terrace with the afternoon tea and amazing Chinese snacks. The hotel itself is localized in the middle of old hutongs containing shops and restaurants. The bar just at the entrance was great for coming home after along day for good drinks and bar snacks as well. And a shop in the adjacent hutong provided jade rings and iron cast tea pots. Thank you for making our stay so unforgetable. 感謝您讓我們的住宿體驗如此難忘。

Das kleine Hotel liegt direkt neben einer Shopping Straße zwischen vielen kleinen Häusschen. Es ist ruhig, gemütlich und sehr traditionell. Die Zimmer gemütlich, tolles Bad. Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Am Nachmittag gibt es Afternoon Tea, sogar mit Zimmerservice. Danke an das ganze Team für die schöne Zeit.

This is an amazing old building converted beautifully to a hotel. The rooms & terrace are wonderful. The staff are hugely helpful & attentive in arranging tickets & so responsive on WeChat when we got slightly stuck on occasions e.g. being dropped at the wrong gate for Tianenem Square. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - some of the best we experienced in China. Like a proper concierge service. The breakfast food was the most delicious I’ve had in a long time with an excellent selection. The room was lovely - the only problem is the shower is broken on every setting and definitely needs to be replaced - they are letting themselves down unnecessarily.

The team (I think due to the weather) had an issue with the laundry service which did affect our check out and I think they were trying to handle the situation diplomatically when I would have appreciated an honest, “it’s a screw up and it will be ready by x time”. We had to come back for our laundry at 14:00 but it was still damp. The team did try to help us get back on track for our show and train times but difficult given traffic. It is what it is but we would still stay again.

Stylish hotel with Chinese character decor throughout, stunning and beautiful in every corner. Spotless rooms, comfy beds and all the facilities you need! Located in the heart of Nanluoguxiang, just 3 subway stops from Beijing's main sights. But the best part is the staff, they are attentive, fluent in English and incredibly detail-oriented. Afternoon tea and tasty breakfast included. We'll definitely stay here again every time we're in Beijing. Absolutely love this place and I would highly recommend it!

Appena arrivati ci siamo subito resi conto che qualcosa non tornava e che la struttura è diversa dalle foto presenti sul sito, cosa assolutamente confermata dopo essere entrati in camera. Le foto sul sito sono decisamente modificate: la camera è in uno scantinato, buia, con presenza di muffa e umidità su tutte le pareti, cattivo odore, lenzuola sporche, sporcizia ovunque, insetti e praticamente senza finestre (mio figlio per la prima volta in decine di viaggi non voleva stare in camera). Abbiamo fatto presente la questione alla struttura: tra l'altro il prezzo pagato (oltre 1000 CNY - circa 140 euro per una notte per una camera doppia) è decisamente alto per gli standard cinesi. Ci hanno di fatto dato ragione e che ci avrebbero fatto sapere, sentita la proprietà, se possibile un rimborso perché comunque a loro dire le altre camere erano tutte occupate. Alla sera ci hanno detto che sarebbe stato possibile un piccolo rimborso (circa 30 euro) solo se cancellavamo la nostra prenotazione. Ci siamo rifiutati: praticamente non volevamo che lasciassimo la nostra recensione e non volevano pagare le commissioni a Booking. Ho sentito altri ospiti in struttura e hanno confermato il nostro pensiero. Non è finita, dopo la mezzanotte, prima di andare a letto, mi è arrivata una mail di Booking.com che diceva che la prenotazione è stata cancellata dalla struttura in quanto non ci eravamo presentati. La mattina seguente durante la scadente colazione, ho fatto presente quanto accaduto e siamo stati trattati a male parole Non è finita qui, dopo aver lasciato l'hotel mi è arrivato un avviso sul telefono di un ulteriore addebito senza motivo da parte della struttura di oltre 40 euro. Nella vacanza siamo stati in altre 10 strutture in varie città della Cina e siamo stati trattati benissimo e gli alloggi erano fantastici a prezzi decisamente inferiori. Inoltre colazione pessima, nessun accorgimento o pensiero verso il cliente come avuto in tutte gli altri posti.

Каждый день нас радовали послеобеденным чаем с вкусняшками местными и напитками, дамплинг суп ( с пельмешками) просто потрясающий! Мы жили в двухуровневом номере, вкусный зеленый чай заваривали, все было комфортно и чисто.

Не было холодильника в номере, но был холодильник с пивом бесплатным в зоне завтрака, так что ничего страшного)

La posizione è davvero speciale, e pur trovandosi in una zona vivace e animata, la struttura è un piccolo angolo di tranquillità, con tantissime piante che rendono l’atmosfera davvero piacevole. Le ragazze dello staff sono state sempre molto gentili, disponibili e attente a ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo anche il tè del pomeriggio, accompagnato da tante piccole prelibatezze, perfetto per rilassarsi e sentirsi accolti al rientro dopo una giornata in giro per la città. La nostra camera era accogliente, avrebbe bisogno solo di qualche piccolo intervento di manutenzione, ma nel complesso la struttura è davvero molto curata e piacevole, con un’atmosfera caratteristica e ricca di charme. Un soggiorno che consigliamo sicuramente a chi vuole vivere Pechino in un ambiente autentico, tranquillo e caratteristico.

Eine große Einkaufsstraße ist schnell erreichbar und auch die Anbindung an die U-Bahn ist sehr gut. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Personal. Außerdem gibt es einige kleine Extras, wie einen kostenlosen Wäscheservice und einen kleinen Snack am Nachmittag. Die Qualität des Wäscheservices könnte allerdings besser sein.

Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und wenig modern. Einige Bereiche wurden nur teilweise bzw. nicht besonders hochwertig renoviert. An manchen Wänden sind deutliche Alters- und Feuchtigkeitsspuren zu sehen. Auch einige Türen lassen sich nur mit Mühe öffnen und schließen. Auf dem Gelände könnte zudem mehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet werden.

Lezai Lanluo Courtyard Hotel is set within an authentic Beijing hutong, beautifully integrated into the traditional residential buildings and their courtyards. The rooms themselves have been created from the original dwellings and are connected by outdoor corridors, walkways and, in some cases, even paths across the rooftops. There are no elevators, and some rooms can be a little challenging to access — but this is part of the experience and, in my opinion, one of the things that makes the hotel so special and authentic. Some rooms have their own private terrace, while all guests can enjoy a lovely shared rooftop terrace with beautiful views over the surrounding hutong rooftops. It is a wonderful place to sit and take in the atmosphere of old Beijing. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, including excellent air conditioning. A particularly thoughtful touch is the small lounge available to guests 24 hours a day, where you can help yourself to complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks. The laundry service is also free of charge, which is extremely convenient, especially for longer stays. The location is excellent: the hotel is very close to a traditional commercial street and only a couple of metro stops away from the main attractions. Despite its central and convenient location, the surrounding area is remarkably quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but pleasant, served by the staff in a small breakfast room. And above all, the staff are exceptional. Everyone we met was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive, always ready to solve even the smallest request with genuine warmth and a smile. We had such a great experience. We arrived very early in the morning and despite not having booked an early check-in the hotel staff tried everything possible to get our room ready as early as possible. We could check-in at 11 am and did not have to pay extra. The room as clean and had a little outdoor area which was very nice. The hotel is located perfectly in the middle of the old Hutongs. All drinks, such as water, soft drinks and beer are included and the hotel serves very good breakfast and afternoon tea with snacks. They also offered breakfast to us on our first day and prepared breakfast to go when we had to head to the airport early in the morning. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us set up all of the necessary apps needed in China. They also helped us book a driver that took us to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs and offered to get tickets to the Tiananmen Square. Furthermore, they helped us get a table at a very popular restaurant (peking chamber) so that we wouldn’t have to wait 3.5 hours in line. Laundry service at the hotel is free of charge also.

Hotel położony jest w bardzo wygodnym miejscu. Personel jest bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny. Po południu dostępna jest za darmo kawa, piwo, napoje gazowane i owoce. Great breakfast, 5 sorts of delicious dumplings "eat as much as you can", dumpling or noodle soup. In case you are a coffee addict you can have various ground coffee types including caffe latte, cappuccino, etc. There is free afternoon tea & fruits served 2-9 p.m. and you can also help yourself to more coffee and canned soft drinks or beer round the clock. And you can treat yourself to all these either in the breakfast room on the ground floor or on the spacious terrace upstairs. You can also enjoy a view from your private terrace if you choose to stay in an upstairs room. We actually booked a simplier room on the ground floor but in the course of our stay we were offered a free upgrade to an upstairs room with a terrace just because it was available;) And here we come to the best part of our stay - the people. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, caring and - last not least - highly efficient. No matter if you needed some help with hailing a taxi, insider tip concerning good places to eat or just wanted to know how much time was needed to get to the train station - the ladies at the reception were always eager to help and they really did help efficiently. English spoken (not just "online translator used";) ) The hotel is small, cosy, located on the middle od a hu tong, 30 mts off its main street - close enough to enjoy it whenever you feel like it and far enough not to be disturbed by its buzz when you want your rest. The hotel is also conveniently localised for main tourist attractions, 20-30 min driver from Tiananmen Square.

Sometimes toilets get blocked too easily, however the staff sees to the problem eagerly. Little space for luggage and clothes in the downstairs rooms.

Рядом в 5 метрах торговая улица, очень интересно по ней прогуляться вечером, при этом сам отель за углом и шума от улицы нет. В 10 минутах ходьбы метро, что для Пекина необходимо. Сам номер очень очень понравился, брала с терассой + вайб. Сотрудники милые и обходительные. Завтрак был включён, просто, но вкусно. В доступе целый день чай и кофе. На первой этаже есть бар с вкусными напитками. Очень советую этот отель!

A charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Hutongs. Alice and her friendly team could not have been more helpful. They assisted with theatre bookings, day tours and welcomed us home every day with afternoon tea and delicious snacks. The Drum and Bell towers are close by; Forbidden City is not far away.

The property was beautifully decorated and clean. Each of the rooms were unique and comfy. Our room came with a balcony and we loved sitting there as well as the rooftop! The service was great, our suitcases were moved to our rooms for us and they gave us gifts at the end of our stay. The location is off of a lively street with food and shops.

The location can be hard to get to with car.

What the highlight was the service by the staff. They were very accomodating and helped us a lot. The Great Wall were closed but they helped us book after at the last minute announcement that a section was being opened in the afternoon. Really good.

The Manager Alice was very helpful arranging cars and trips etc.

We couldn’t have had a better stay at this lovely buying hotel. We felt so comfortable and cared for. The staff went above and beyond to assure our comfort and we would definitely stay here again. If you get a chance to stay here, you will be so happy!

They were without question the loveliest people we encountered on our trip — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring from check-in to check-out. This was genuinely one of my favorite hotel stays ever, anywhere. If you're visiting Beijing, do yourself a favor and stay here. I highly, highly recommend!

Fabulous service and wonderful place to stay. Close to excellent restaurants and Hutong area

Lezai was a cute boutique hotel right in the heart to the Hutongs. Just step out the door, no taxis just lots of action and restaurants and stores. The hotel had a great breakfast to start the day which was a treat, but the best was the staff, especially Alice who would help out for hailing rides and making reservations and went way beyond to make us feel at home. And if Alice wasn’t around Anny took over. What a wonderful way to start our China trip.

My stay at Le Zai Beijing was absolutely wonderful and I’d highly recommend it. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional Chinese courtyard style with thoughtful decor details, spotless and full of ancient charm, making for a comfortable stay. Afternoon tea is served in the courtyard with refreshing pastries. It’s peaceful and relaxing to sit and unwind there. Breakfast features authentic local Beijing food with a good variety of tasty, mild and hearty options. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive. Staff share directions in advance and promptly assist with any requests with great kindness. It boasts an unbeatable location tucked in Nanluoguxiang Hutong, close to the subway. You can walk to the Drum Tower and Shichahai easily. Quiet despite being near bustling tourist spots, it’s very convenient for sightseeing.

This is an absolute hidden gem in the Beijing hutongs. Gorgeous vibe, full of charm and amazingly helpful staff. To top it off a fabulous location to walk to shops, restaurants, sightseeing and subway. Can't fault it. Lovely rooftop area for drinks, terrific breakfast and afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place where I would happily stay again. The hotel is beautifully designed in traditional hutong style, tucked away in a quiet alley just steps from a lively street with plenty of cafés and shops. The atmosphere is peaceful, charming, and beautiful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a great selection of both Chinese and European dishes. The highlight of this hotel is its amazing staff, who were always kind, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to Alice for her excellent English and all her support during our stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Beijing Lezai Nanluo Courtyard Hotel. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the beautiful Nanluoguxiang area, with easy access to the metro and many of Beijing's main attractions. The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. Every afternoon the hotel also served complimentary fruits, coffee, tea, and other drinks, which was a very nice touch after a day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They arranged our early morning airport transfer, assisted us with laundry, and made sure every request was taken care of with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel truly at home. We highly recommend Beijing Lezai Nanluo Courtyard Hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. It was an outstanding experience, and we would be delighted to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Beijing Lezai. The hotel was amazing- beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast and the service and kindness from the staff was outstanding! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay and were helpful with everything from laundry, tickets, luggage and transport. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Beijing and warmly recommend the hotel to other travelers.
