The vibe of this place is very cozy and quiet which is perfect if you want to relax. Rustic and earthy are my words to describe this place. Nothing luxurious, simple treehouse with staff and owners that are very lovely, helpful and friendly. Plus all the stuff you need to survive is in the place. 100% recommended! If you're looking for a place to stay like home. This is the right place for you.

Sehr nette einfache Unterkunft. Es gibt ein sehr leckeres veganes Restaurant in Laufreichweite und Trinkwasser zum abfüllen vor Ort. Wir haben das günstigste Zimmer gemietet. Im Zimmer hatten wir sogar zwei Ventilatoren und trotz der Hitze gut geschlafen (wir waren in der Nebensaison vor Ort). Das Bad ist einfach aber vollkommend ausreichend. Es gibt viele nette Sitzgelegenheiten und Hängematten im Innenhof / vor dem kleinen Strand. Wie haben einen Roller vor Ort gemietet. Am Nachmittag hatten wir ein technisches Problem mit dem Roller (konnte niemand was dafür, war normaler Verschleiß). In weniger als einer halben Stunde hatten wir einen neuen Roller und waren wieder unterwegs! Super Service. Beide Roller waren soweit sicher (Bremsen haben funktioniert, Reifen waren nicht abgefahren).

Falta de mantenimiento, viejo y descuidado en concreto la casita individual donde nos hospedamos:las escaleras de acceso, wc...Mucho calor a pesar de que teníamos no 1 sino 2 ventiladores. No había servicio de comidas, a pesar de que constaba en las características del alojamiento, no nos informaron albrespecto. Falta de amabilidad y hospitalidad por parte del personal que nos atendió. Alquilé moto en el mismo alojamiento y me cobró más de lo que tenía anunciado en una pizarra en la recepción. Me di cuenta por casualidad, pero si me devolvieron la diferencia. La moto tenía soporte mòbil roto, pedí un soporte y me dijo que no tenían, que tenía que comprarlo y así lo hice pero no me devolvieron la totalidad ni siquiera parte de lo que me costó. Cascos viejos, viseras rotas, hebilla para atar casco roto, bailaba en la cabeza...

La casa del arbol me gustó mucho

Los dueños son encantadores y me ayudaron mucho en todo, viajo sola y esto se agradece un montón. Tienes la playa a un paso literal.

Podría mejorarse la limpieza. En el jardín viven perros y ladran por las noches.

Emplacement idéal pour faire la visite de l’île ! Nous n’avons pas entendu les avions il y en a 1 a 9h et un autre a 3pm mais j’avais entendu ! Il propose un petit déjeuner sympa les pieds dans l’eau. Tout était superbe nous dominions magnifiquement bien !

Great escape on its own. Was very pleased with the space, away from the city and surrounds. Has own private mud beach which has the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets. It’s the closest thing to living ina natural space ( bamboo hut). At first I was apprehensive about not having air con because Philippines is so hot but the fans provided worked just fine. There’s well trained friendly dogs in the property and just a great find in general.

The location passes a cemetery and the bathroom is a bit squishy you have to work around it. They’re not deal breakers and would totally go again :)

Located right at the sea with lots of dugs and pups! Hammocks, seats right at the sea and all needed services (laundry, breakfast, scooter rental) provided. The staff are super helpful and accommodating! Well connected to cafes, restaurants and places to visit, right next to the biggest city and airport, but still hidden away and very peaceful.

The lady is incredibly nice. And the view from the tree house is really amazing and that is what you pay for. The hammock on the balcony, amazing. There is also semi warm water which is hard to find and everything was very clean. You also have a lot of room.

The main thing for me were the dogs. I adore dogs but they have a bunch and they were barking all night, if you are a light sleeper, you won't sleep here. And I always wear earplugs. Still heard them. So I think it would be a good idea for the property to mention they have dogs, also for people who are scared of them. The other thing is, this is a tree house like a literal tree house, very beginners do it yourself look so don't expect luxury. You really pay for the view, it is right on the water. So if you are not going to be here a lot like me, it's not worth it. And the beach is not the best. But it does have it's own bathroom, which I can imagine is a challenge to make in a tree house so points for that. It was a fun experience but since I stayed for 6 days, I would probably choose something cheaper next time.

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement qui est juste à côté de la mer, très calme. L’ambiance de ce lieu est très appréciable, ça a été un coup de cœur pour nous. L’hôte a été charmante, elle nous a conseillé des lieux à visiter et nous a même upgradé sans frais en plus car nous restions longtemps ! Cet endroit restera gravé dans notre mémoire, c’était les plus beaux moments de notre voyage aux Philippines. Et les chiens sont très mignons, ils font partis du lieu.

Peut être le petit manque de place dans les logements mais c’est un détail

Traumhafte Lage. Wer es ruhig haben will, der ist hier absolut richtig. Die beiden Besitzer sind überaus freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und liebenswert. Ich kann dieses Resort nur empfehlen. Aufgrund der ruhigen Lage ist es allerdings angebracht sich einen Roller zu mieten.

Located in a quiet place. Well situated from Mambajao, white island and Mantigue. The owners Maria and Alfred are very helpful and give good advices for visiting Camiguin We recommend !

Las vistas privadas a la playa son increíbles, la ubicación es genial todo pilla muy cerca. Tienen varios perros con los que nosotros jugamos, perfecto para relajarse y cerca del aeropuerto, nosotros fuimos andando desde el aeropuerto por su cercanía ( no se escuchan los aviones una vez en el hotel )

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and everything was conveniently located at the property. They were always available to help if needed. Motorbikes were available to rent from the property and their breakfast pancakes were delicious. Close to a vegan restaurant just a short walk down the road. The bed was comfortable and the showers had warm water. Very very beautiful and felt very safe + secure. Very cute and friendly dogs! Overall we had a lovely stay here and would definitely come again!

Maybe could have done with mosquito nets in the rooms as there were gaps for them to get in. The property was quite loud at night with power tools, dogs etc etc.

Un petit coin de paradis sur l’île de Camiguin. Logement au bord de l’eau avec une vue imprenable. Les hôtes étaient d’une hospitalité et d’une gentillesse sans faille. Ils nous ont accueilli plus en tant qu’amis qu’en tant que clients.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is very good, just at the beach. The room was small but i just stayed one night so for me that was no problem.

Great place to stay in Camiguin if you just want to relax for a few days. It is situated a bit from the town center but is within walking distance to the airport and the main road (even though it makes sense to get a scooter - which they rent out for 350 pesos a day). The landscape around the accomodation is beautiful and the huts themselves are beautiful - I recommend getting the bungalow with a hammock overlooking the ocean - enjoying the breeze from the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing in was so peaceful. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious.

When I arrived the staff seemed a little bit "off" - not unfriendly but definitely more reserved than I've been used to in the Philippines. They seemed to open up a bit more the second day of my stay - so perhaps it was just me overthinking.

Lovely owner, we have been stuck by the typhon and she let us stay 3more nights ! So pleasant to be next to the sea and listen to the waves. Close to everything. Cheap scooter rental Food is also delicious! There are like 5 dogs, so cute and friendly

Maria was a fantastic host, she couldn't do enough for us to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast available was lovely. Maria organised a tour for us whilst we were there and any transport we needed. Other services are available too and everything at a great price. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was not an issue but the location isn't walkable to the nearest town so tuktuk or scooter needed.

I loved how well you could hear the waves at night, the location was really quiet - i spent lots of time reading in the hammock by my room. The staff was so kind, they arranged a day trip to White Island and Mantigue Island for me as well. The room is really basic, but that's to be expected. The dogs were so cute and mostly kept to themselves.

There was no restaurant on site, but the staff can order food for you to be delivered. The bathroom could be a bit better.

Die Lage ist super! Ich bin einfach vom Flughafen hingelaufen und habe direkt die Umgebung kennengelernt. Der Strand geht relativ flach rein, aber dann läuft man eben ein paar Schritte mehr, bevor es ans Schwimmen geht :) Maria hat mir super Reisetipps gegeben und Aufmerksam meinen Erzählungen zugehört. Das vegane Restaurant nebenan war für mich ein großes Plus. Auch der hauseigene Scooterverleih ist sehr komfortable und das gute Stück hat mich überall hingebracht.

Das Zimmer und Bad hatte einen schwachen Eigengeruch. Ich bin aber auch relativ Empfindlich.

I had the room 'chase' and that was the real tree house room. It was so nicely made. Comfortable, practical and cozy with a spacious attached bathroom. Towels and all toiletries supplied. It was also a kettle in the room and a bottle of insect spray. The room was right by the sea. I loved the spacious furnished balcony which also had a hammock. The sea breeze kept the mosquitos away. There's a large green garden with tables and chairs. Free drinking water dispenser. Cold beers for sale, ( but check the stock, as they ran out one day and it's a looong way to town.) The WiFi was excellent everywhere. If you have read about Camiguin and are worried about the 'can't do thing'), then don't worry here ( but bring what you need)

The hot shower didn't work! I plugged it in, but no electricity came on on the water heater! This place is only 900m from town if you could walk along the beach, but you can't. You got to go 3.5 km around the airport. Cheap transport is available 1.4 km away on the main road. The hotel can call for transport for you, but that is exorbitant expensive according to their price list, so I ended up walking to the main road all the time. You are pretty much stuck for food options out here. They do breakfast, (very limited options), but other meals are coming from a restaurant that has expensive and mediocre food with very limited variety. My order of overload Nachos turned out to be a few Nachos with french fries and cheese!!!! ....and they always overcharged according to the prices on the, menu....but then on my last day, the menu had all changed, and I actually had a really good burger.

Warning: this hotel is a tourist trap. Terrible rooms, rats scurrying on the balcony, rat nets in the room, and gnawed-out floorboards.

Petit havre de paix, idéal pour être au calme et se reposer. Il n’empêche que le centre et toutes les commodités sont à 5-10 minutes en scooter, très accessibles donc. La propriétaire est très agréable, nous avons pu discuter avec elle, nous a loué des scooter à un bon prix et nous a réservé le tuktuk pour repartir. Nous avons beaucoup aimé Camiguin et notre séjour à Borbon’s treehouse!

My stay was an absolute delight! I love how eco-friendly the place is, and the location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach. The food they serve is really good and homemade. They source the ingredients from local produce as well - sort’ve like farm to table. The staff were warm and hospitable, and the main town is only about 10–15 minutes away. They have multiple dogs that have beautiful stories behind them.

The place is directly at the sea and you can hear the waves in the Treehouse while falling asleep. It's just such an amazing place to relax and unwind. It's quiet and peaceful but very central. You can also rent motorbikes there and refill water for free. We will definitely come back here if we go to Camiguin again!

Location. Bed very comfortable. If you like dogs you'll like this. Owner was absent but staff remaining did their best. Our of town very quiet on its own stretch of beach. I like Camiguin, which has a different vibe altogether.

No food except super basic breakfast. Caretakers Did their best in owners absence. Shower was a dribbling kind of affair needs some more pressure and upgrade. Needs a brush to keep the floor clean would be useful.

Absolutely loved the bamboo constructed eco friendly beach front huts. It's very conveniently located to the airport. Though if you go by Ferry like I did from Balingoan port you will get down at Benoni port in Camiguin. Lot of locals help with bike rental. The Borbons tree house is 20kms from Benoni port and worth the ride all along coast. Roads in Camiguin ply close to the ocean and in some places climb into the forest. Great host and loads of open space inside the tree house complex. They do offer food and laundry service along with bike rental.

Nothing to complain about if you love budget stay and are looking for value for money.

The place is a very cozy spot right in front of the beach. Accommodation is quite basic but you have everything you'll need for a great stay. And they have a very cute and lovable German shepherd named Chase. :)

Probably they should provide a complimentary bottle of Off lotion for every room, for extra protection against mosquitoes.

The view was amazing by day and during low tide at night you could see the foothills of the Milky Way. The shower was hot and water pressure was fine!

We drove to this place after sundown with no reservations and wow was it worth it. Alfred and Maria are the sweetest hosts you could ask for and offer the full bed and breakfast service.. We woke up to the beautiful blue ocean waves coming right up to the porch and we went swimming out on the black sand beach with no issues. The property is a quiet little enclosed campground with tables, lounge chairs, hammocks, and a swing perfect for having a drink and watching the sea all day. If you're looking for a unique, peaceful, private place to stay in paradise then this room is an experience you won't forget

Awesome lodgement with direct sea access within a local and safe community. Very nice hosts and staff. Close to the island's main town.

The location. It’s beachfront and near the airport. Pet friendly. They have a lot of dogs.

The location is at the beach which is the highlight of the place. It is not really for swimming but it‘s nice to have the feet in the sea. We stayed at two different rooms at the place and the owner allowed us to move to a bigger room one day earlier than booked because another guest had to cancel, which was very friendly.

Beach could have been cleaner (plastic was lying around). It was our first place to stay at Camiguin and after the first night we had breakfast there. The food and drinks were very mediocre and one omelette had multiple hairs in it but at that point we didn’t want to complain since we asked for breakfast last minute. The owner wanted us to pay the breakfast at check out, till that point she hadn’t informed us about prices. There is a menu card, but it doesn’t say specifically a price. She charged us 930 pesos )around 16 euros) for two omelettes, a few slices of old toast bread, two mango shakes and a coffee. This price is a straight rip off for this island and we had a bad feeling about this place after leaving.

If you are expecting a 5 star resort, then you are in the wrong place. If you want to be in nature, feel the sea breeze, enjoy the community around the Century tree, then you will have a fantastic time here!

Very relaxing atmosphere right by the sea. Unfortunately it was raining heavily throughout our time in Camiguin. But we didn't mind staying in at all as the property has a large green area with trees, and is right on the beach so perfect to relax. Maria and her family, who run the guesthouse, made our stay very pleasant. They were all very kind, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and functional, one of the few places with a hot water shower. In the room there were also toiletries and useful items like a kettle, cutlery, hangers, and a lamp

We had a rodent visitor, though it never got into the room, but we could hear it scuttling up and down the walls over our heads during the nights. The room smelt of damp, but this was likely also due to the heavy raining.

We got the cabin built on the tree with the sea view, we were 3 meters from the sea and it was relaxing, we were able to rent a scooter from the place and the staff were friendly and helpful

There was no AC and hot water but the fan was ok and there was bucket and kettle, so we could improvise hot water, the real issue was that we found the next morning the our soap has been eaten while we slept, we asked the staff what is it and that said there is a rat, later we also saw the rat in the bathroom.. we hope the staff will handle this issue, because without this incident the stay in the treehousee was amazing
