Malheureusement nous sommes tombés lors du passage de la tempête tropicale et le paradis s'est transformé en enfer. Fuites dans les bungalows et le jardin était une rivière et de la boue. La guesthouse n'y est pour rien malheureusement

It was all going well (nice garden, practical kitchen…) until…

… we were awakened at 3am by two burglars stealing in our room. I managed to make them leave but they had already taken a part of our money and an eletric razor. It was quite a traumatic experience and I don’t recommand it to anyone. Being burgled in the middle of the night is by far the worst event that happened to me in all my trips. We felt the onwer too indifferent regarding the situation (his wife was way more supportive) and we had to move to another resort to feel safe again. We learnt by locals that same events had already happened in the same area. Yet, very few means were put into place in this cottage… If you want to stay here and avoid the same experience, I’ll give you two tips : 1. Lock your door (and hope the burglar can’t force it) 2. Hide your money in different places (it’s all they’re after) And if you’re not looking for a « I’ve been burgled in the middle of the night » experience, I‘ll give you a third tip… 3. FIND A SAFER PLACE!!!!!

Very quite and beautiful

Wen I got there I was told I did not pay for air-conditioned witch was not true.had to show them 2 time that I can rent the room again for same price with air conditioning. And my key and all the other visitor have the same key.so it's not safe to leave any valuable in the room

the location, its very private

The connection, theres no data in the area. There was a frequent blackout during my stay and its pretty annoying. Other than that, its perfect.

C’était le meilleur logement que nous ayons eu aux Philippines en 4 semaines, et pour un prix très raisonnable. Il est cosy, spacieux, bien agencé et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. De plus, l’eau du robinet est potable, ce qui est un excellent point. Fritz et sa famille ont été très réactifs à toutes nos demandes. Le logement se trouve à 20 minutes à pied de l’aéroport et à 10 minutes à pied de la route principale, pour le reste, il vaux mieux avoir un scooter.

Se portaron con nosotros fatal. De entrada perdimos dos días de alojamiento porque por el temporal nos cancelaron el ferry, les pedí que me lo devolvieran ya que eran causas ajenas a mi, ellos pasaron la pelota a booking, y booking les responsabilizó a ellos y ellos no quisieron devolverme nada. El primer día cuando llegamos que era de noche, no había nadie para recibirnos, estaba todo a oscuras, tuve que llamar a la casa de otra persona alojada allí para que me indicará donde tenía que hacer el Check-in. Que tampoco sabía nada, finalmente me acompaño al final de la parcela que es donde ellos viven. Me pareció increíble que pasarán así de nosotros y no me dieran ninguna indicación. La casa estaba llena de mosquitos, entraban lagartijas, y me dijo que no me daba el mando del aire acondicionado porque no estaba incluido, que tendría que pagar más para ello, después de haber pagado dos noches sin utilizarlo. Después de intentar hablar con el para solucionarlo me responde en su idioma el cual no entiendo, de una forma muy maleducada porque no le interesaba. Cuando responde la mujer es muy agradable por mensaje , pero todo es por el dinero, él es un maleducado. Es una pena porque los filipinos son muy majos en general pero este se nota que no lo es. Tampoco nos limpiaron la habitación. No recomiendo este alojamiento para nada me llevo un mal recuerdo de este lugar.

The area surrounding the rooms/unit are well kept. The grass and plants are really green. There's a lot of flowers and birds around. It is also near some touristy spot, airport and the capital

Cute spacious rooms in a lovely garden. Peaceful, mostly just noises of the jungle. Helpful owner.

Our main issue was that the A/C struggled to cool down the whole cottage, so the bedroom was cool but the kitchen/ dining area was warm. A fan would solve this but when we asked they didn't have any spare. The WiFi is a bit in and out plus there's quite a few bugs but I think both of those just come with being on a little tropical island. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs and eye mask as it gets rather bright and loud with animals by sunrise.

Best place to stay on the island! Large room, Aircon, fully equipped kitchen. Set in the most beautiful surroundings, the garden is amazing. Close to airport, convenience store and restaurants. Fritz and Lita are superb hosts! We will definitely be back!

Very cozy and has everything you need for a good stay in Camiguin. Owners were super friendly and location was great

Fritz and Lita are very accommodating and nice.The complex and the garden are a little paradise. To be mobile you should rent a motorbike. The kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator and two burner gas cooker.... a large bath with enough water and super shower head.

Such a spacious room! Had everything you need, internet was great. The garden is just glorious, so beautiful to wake up to in the morning… felt very private even with rooms either side. Fritz is a great host, not intrusive but there if you need him. Can do laundry on site too. Oh and….. you can drink the tap water…. Unbelievable , their water comes from a spring so is safe to drink! After 1 year travelling around Asia this is a first, what a luxury!!

The pots and pans could do with an update, but they are functional enough. Some floor tiles are loose so tripping over them in the night is possible, not a big deal though. Not much around, couple of small stores and about 10mins on a bike to get to a few more restaurants, so having a kitchen is a plus!

Beautiful cottages. The bungalows are a bit newer and have AC. I also stayed in the slightly cheaper/older studio when I extended my stay. Great little kitchen, working fridge and nice hot water. Loved being able to cook something and make a rice snack. Fairly reliable internet - but sometimes in the bungalow it dropped out as they are using an extender. Overall great place to stay and super roomy which I liked.

In the bungalow there is some trees near the roof i think that bang against it when windy. Also the plumbing may need to be cleaned up as the shower at issues draining at times. In the 2nd studio room all is okay except the bed could be a bit comfier. Owners could consider providing little nespresso coffee packs in the rooms for the price they charge - would be a great add on to the kitchen.

Beautiful bungalows with air conditioning in a lovely, well-maintained resort. Everything is clean, very quiet, and you can rent scooters at an affordable price. However, what truly makes this place special are the two hosts. Words can hardly do them justice, but here’s an example: my friend had a food poisoning incident, and Lita got up in the middle of the night to cook rice for her, went into town to get medication for us, and genuinely took extraordinary care of us. Such wonderful people and a beautiful place to stay!

Lita and Fritz , the owners of ACACIA'S Cottages are very friendly people , you feel Like home because they take Care to the guests , always friendly and asking the guests if everything OK , or if you need somethimg You have privacy because the resort is very big but they have only 5 big and nice rooms with complete Kitchen and nice terrace , the garden is beautyfull , the bungalows are surrounded with a Lot of nice plants and flowers , if you are looking for a tropical paradise with a nice garden and you love flowers , this is the right place for you , its a quiet and safe place even the dog is very friendly he visit the guests in the morning to say hello You need some information about camiguin , interesting places to visit or good restaurants to eat or you like rent motorbyke in a good condition just ask Lita Or Fritz

There is indeed a garden

Very dirty, the whole place is just in a deteriorated state. kitchen was barely usable, pans burnt to shreds, toaster unsafe, kettle literally fell apart. Biting ants everywhere, spiders big. Hosts not present, we only knew he was there because of the loud music coming from his house at the back. No privacy - no windows, just mosquito guards over holes in the wall, no curtains.

Very nice, clean and comfortable room with an amazing garden. Great location to explore the island and fairly quiet at night. Our hosts were very kind and helpful.

We were surprised to find a bathroom with no door.

A beautiful place, a well-equipped studio, in a very nice garden. The host are very kind and welcoming, Fritz and Lita, and Lita’s daughter Catlyn. They also have 2 dogs that sometimes come to spend some time with you on the balcony. The location is great, it’s near everything. You’ll just need a scooter to go around. I highly enjoyed staying here, it’s quiet and peaceful. I kept extending my stay !

I loved the location of the property. It was set in a beautiful quiet garden away from hustle and bustle but still close enough that it was a 5-10 minute drive to a lot of attractions/ restaurants. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had a good functioning shower and kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!

The bed frame was made from bamboo and was a bit creaky/ rickety.

The space was amazing ! Very large cottage, super clean and the AC was quiet and worked really well. The kitchen was very convenient - we cooked breakfast and dinner every night. The small outdoor space was great in the mornings to relax and enjoy a coffee. The hosts were very responsive when we needed things and their dogs kept us company the whole trip. Would love to come back again.

You’ll definitely need/want a motorbike for this island as it’s not right in town. The wifi is really only good towards the front/outside of the cottage and the power did go out for a day. They warn you of all these things though and you’re out doing things all day anyways so we didn’t notice much.

Loved our stay here. Having a kitchen is really useful, and the surroundings are lovely.

The WiFi didn’t work in the hut we were staying in - not sure if it was an issue with the entire property or just our cottage.

This is a lovely property in all respects. The hosts have invested a huge amount of time and effort in the gardens and cottages. The very large garden is especially nice with mature trees, flowers and fruits. The setting is very peaceful. Just a couple of minutes off the highway and is very close to the town of Mumbajao. There are two standalone cottages and one block of three (side by side) for a total of five. The aircon is cold, the kitchen is useful and the bathroom is spacious. All the fixtures and fittings are new. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will certainly be back.

The cottage didnt provide breakfast but has kitchen and kitchen utensils that can be used for cooking breakfast.

Ibelieved they should change the bed, as it is so noisy when Im moving as well as the blanket and beddings are not good enough for me and my husband.

Cottages are on a beautiful garden-like property ensuring privacy to each cottage. Gated, well-luminated in night, has a motorbike garage, close to airport, town, hot spring... The cottage has everything, really comfortable, good bamboo bed and all essential amenities you need like dishes, towels, washing machine and drying area. One of the best and fastest Wifi on the island as well. The landlord family is really friendly and helpful. I love it here and it is by far the best cottage we stayed in Camiguin. This is my go-to place to stay on the island.
