Extremadamente limpio (daba gusto llegar a la habitación), el aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien, el baño limpísimo y grande, el staff del hotel muy amable, la comida del restaurante muy rica. Al lado de la corniche y también de un gran carrefour. Altamente recomendable.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026Der Rezeptionsmanager hat mir umgehend ein anderes Zimmer mit Ausblick offeriert. Das zuvor Gebuchte schaute ohne Tageslicht auf einen Gebäudeschacht. Ein unglaublich netter Herr hatte mir zum nächsten Morgen mein Auto mit größter Liebe und Sorgfalt per Hand gewaschen 🙏 Nach einer Wüstentour unbedingt nötig.

Only one issue - a very loud noise outside our room on both nights. It was resolved on the first night when we contacted the staff but it persisted on the second night and disrupted our sleep.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Super friendly staff, always ready to help! Andrew very kindly arranged a fantastic two trips for me to Amarna, Beni Hassan and Tuna el-Gebel, which were truly unforgettable.
Kept having issues with the safe in my room. It was fixed both times, but I hope they will look into what's going on and fix it permanently, since it was a bit inconvenient.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025Voor Egypte zeer moderne en luxueuze kamer met alle voorzieningen (zelfs een badjas en slippers). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel dat goed Engels spreekt. Dichtbij station maar tevens bij de Corniche del Nile. Beste falafel.ooit in Egypte!
Misschien paar meer Westerse opties voorzien bij ontbijt? En echte koffie ipv Nescafé

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Das Hotel ist eine volle Empfehlung für eine Reise nach Al Minya. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind komfortabel und sauber.
Leider ist die Internet Verbindung sehr langsam und bricht öfters ab. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut, was besonders Nachts als störend empfunden werden kann... Aber das ist Meckern auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. ;-)

There is no Nile view window or terrace. There are no budget-friendly packages for site seeing; the current ones are mainly designed for foreigners.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2023After booking the hotel, I contacted them right away to begin planning my trip; whichever number listed here (it was correct) set me up with the manager Andrew. Andrew communicated quickly within his business hours (time delay because of time zones) and thoroughly. When I met him at the hotel he was no less help! Frankly, Andrew and his staff were the nicest hotel staff in my whole month of Egypt and there was no hustling when I was coming and going throughout my stay; they were kind and professional asking me how my day went and if they could recommend anything. I contacted them early in order to arrange a driver to visit the sites around the city and Andrew set me up with George who was a wonderful driver and helped me navigate my way around the sites; George even brought me to several pyramids tourists don't typically visit! My only wish about this stay is that Minya were a greater tourist destination!
Minia is an odd place (by western tourist standards) westerners don't tend to visit. I was there for Eid, though, and everyone was happy, very friendly, and welcoming to what seemed to the only American in the city those few days. In short, I would make Minya a larger tourist location!

Reviewed Dec 5, 2022it was very comfortable, up to date and quiet and the staff especially Andrew in reception was amazing and helpful. They were very attentive and Andrew help me with all my tour plans and booked them for me, very helpful.
The breakfast was a little underwhelming. They need a machine that makes espresso and different kinds of coffee. Most hotels have those now. Nescafé isn’t coffee to many westerners. Also, more food selection maybe fruit, yogurt and juice. Real orange juice would be nice. However, the food from the restaurant was very good. I enjoyed it.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2022Ahmed at the front desk was brilliant and spoke good English. Gave us advice on where to go and when. The hotel room was super modern, very clean with Netflix facility included. Food options were pretty good but I'm a picky eater. Overall, a very good service.
It's a narrow street so not ideal if you're driving. Views aren't majestic but you can just keep your curtains closed. I was happy overall.
