Everything: the views, the food and the room. The staff is very nice. I would 100% recommend for a few days. We didn’t do much as the tours are a bit expensive but the view was enough!

Es un pequeño pedazo de paraíso en plena montaña, desde donde se puede ver toda la Sierra Nevada hasta el mar Caribe. La subida es un poco difícil pero vale completamente la pena, el lugar es imperdible.

Es caro, creo que tan sólo una pequeña porción de la población colombiana podrá disfrutar de esta maravilla.

Tutto, il soggiorno da Sintropia è stato semplicemente fantastico, sicuramente un’esperienza da provare. È vero che è una struttura un po’ più difficile da raggiungere (anche se sarà loro premura inviare qualunque tipo di informazione per raggiungerli), ma una volta arrivati in cima, il panorama è incredibile. Abbiamo anche cenato due sere presso il loro ristorante. Piatti buonissimi e abbondanti. Colazioni magnifiche con una vista che difficilmente dimenticherò. Grazie Sintropia ❤️

Richtig tolle und familiäre Atmosphäre, tolle Gespräche mit anderen Gästen und den Besitzern, große Bereitschaft des Hosts alle Wünsche möglich zu machen, „traumhafter Blick“ beschreibt es nicht ganz, vielleicht die beste Aussicht, die ich je hatte, leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen, eigener Kaffee - auch toll als Mitbringsel — insgesamt würde ich nur für die Unterkunft nochmal nach Kolumbien fliegen

We loved everything about this property! Highly recommended!!😍 Unfortunately, it was raining the day we arrived but even then, we enjoyed our stay immediately and it was even more special to wake up with this view the next morning! The staff was really kind and the food and coffee great. Just keep in mind that you have to walk uphill and also take their warnings about the way up from Minca seriously.

Das Sintropia ist etwas ganz Besonderes und ein Erlebnis fürs Leben! Die Anlage ist wie aus einem Film und einfach wunderschön und paradiesisch. Man lebt wirklich sehr abgelegen im Dschungel und sie machen alles selbst. Es ist kein Luxushotel und weil man wirklich im Wald wohnt sind die Zimmer natürlich den Insekten usw ausgesetzt, aber Mücken sind zb. wirklich kein Problem weil sie super Netze über dem Bett haben und generell nicht viele Mücken vor Ort sind. Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht, das Wasser ist toll und kommt direkt aus einer Quelle, wobei es selten Warmwasser gibt - aber immer eine tolle Erfrischung! Das Personal kann nur Spanisch ist aber wirklich sehr bemüht. Auch das Essen ist himmlisch! Es gibt einen Koch der jeden Tag bis zu drei Mahlzeiten frisch zubereitet. Es gibt Obst aus der Umgebung, selbstgemachte Café und leckere Säfte. Hier auch eher kein Überfluss, aber man kann sich jederzeit Bananen aus dem Garten nehmen. Der Weg rauf zum Hotel ist wirklich ein Erlebnis, aber die Organisation ist super! Aus Minca wird man mit einem 4x4 Jeep geholt und die letzten 10 min. wandert man - die Koffer werden mit dem Moped gebracht. Das Hotel bietet die gesamte Organisation an, man muss es nur selbst ausmachen. Generell sind sie hier super organisiert!

Es ist einfach ein kleines Abenteuet und eine paradiesische Idylle! Aber natürlich muss man wissen dass man mitten in der Natur lebt, inklusive Tieren, Insekten, kalter Quelle und holpriger Anreise - das ist kein Minuspunkt man muss sich nur darauf einstellen. Dann ist es traumhaft!

Todo en este lugar es increíble, las vistas, el clima, el personal, el café, un ambiente increíble. Tener en cuenta que la llegada al lugar requiere de transporte 2 veces, y luego caminar, pero vale la pena.

Como recomendación tal vez tener un poco más de opciones de bebidas o snacks, ya que por la ubicación del lugar es complicado conseguir.

A beautiful location, surrounded by nature. It has wonderful flora and fauna. We saw hummingbirds, a parrot and toucan. The staff are really attentive - Marie, Luis, Jorge and Cneth looked after us so well. The rooms are really spacious -beautiful cabins and our room with views of the sea and mountains was fantastic for a family. We loved the walk up but it was uphill all the way - about 90 minutes from Minca. Getting a jeep is also easy. Fantastic food and we did the cacao tour at Finnca La Candelabria, which was interesting and came complete with hot chocolate and a face mask!

We loved our stay here, the room was HUGE for just 2 of us and the balcony had incredible views, a very tranquil spot for a couple of nights stay. Staff super friendly too and incredible wildlife and plants

Food was fine and did the job but could be abit more seasoned. Need to walk up a big hill to get here so if mobility problems could be hard

Paradiesische Lage, weit weg vom Lärm von Minca, tolle Wanderung zu zwei einsamen Wasserfällen. Die ganze Kaffee Farm ist wunderschön angelegt, mit tollen Sitzecken, wunderschöne Pflanzen, tolle Unterkünfte mit fabelhafter Aussicht. Absolute Empfehlung, das Essen war gut und das bei der abgeschiedenen Lage , super liebes Team, super sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für Alles !

This is an amazing place to stay, high up in the hills above Santa Marta. You can only access it by 4x4 which takes a good 20/25 mins up a rough path (for 100 COP per one way trip) to the accommodation, but when you arrive it is worth it for the peace, beauty and views. Hummingbirds flying around, a friendly parrot that shouts ‘Hola’ and even a toucan that comes to visit as well as the general buzz of 100’s of other insects and birds. Lots of hammocks to relax and soak it all up in too. It’s an amazing place to escape to and away from the slightly chaotic backpack and moped busy village of Minca. Accommodation is fabulous - big spacious and clean bedrooms and bathrooms with balconies and mosquito nets. Home cooked breakfast, lunch and supper all available buy you need to pre-order the latter 2 if required. Friendly staff too, but very limited English spoken.

Maybe a little more guidance or communication towards the activities available from here would have been nice, but not really an issue.

Exceptionnel ! Un endroit magnifique, paradisiaque ! Les repas sont excellents, petit déjeuner au top. Allez-y les yeux fermés. Ne pas oublier les 10 minutes de marche pour aller à la finca, mais tout est bien organisé. Ils nous montent les valises avec une moto et des services de 4x4 pour nous déposer juste avant les 10 minutes de montée. À notre départ, on a pu laisser nos valises pour visiter la finca voisine de cacao et café, et ils nous ont descendu les valises à notre taxi, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Was mich direkt überrascht hat: Trotz der abgeschiedenen Lage mitten in der Natur war das Internet erstaunlich stabil. Schon vor der Anreise bekommt man ein ausführliches Infopaket mit allen wichtigen Informationen zur Anfahrt, zu Aktivitäten und zum Essensangebot – das fand ich wirklich hilfreich. Die Finca liegt etwa 4 km oberhalb von Minca und ist nur per Jeep, Mototaxi oder zu Fuß erreichbar. Das letzte Stück ab dem Eingang muss man auf jeden Fall laufen. Man sollte also einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein. Bei schwerem Gepäck wird aber geholfen, und für mich hat sich der Aufstieg definitiv gelohnt. Die Lage ist außerdem ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in der Region. Z.B. zu Wasserfällen, Kaffee- und Kakao-Fincas oder zum Vogelbeobachten. Besonders gefallen haben mir die Ruhe und die Aussicht. Ich habe viel Zeit in der Hängematte auf meiner Terrasse oder in der gemütlichen Chill-Area verbracht. Perfekt zum Lesen, Abschalten oder einfach zum Genießen der Natur. Auch das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt, und das gesamte Team war unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Natur, Ruhe und eine entspannte Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Absolutely stunning. The location is remote. The views are spectacular. The food is great and the people (including other guests) all very lovely. We had a wonderful 2 nights and wished we were staying longer.

C’est clairement le meilleur logement de notre voyage en Colombie. La vue est splendide (nous avons pris une cabane privée pour 2), la finca est magnifique, nous sommes vraiment entourés d’une nature merveilleuse. Le personnel est aux petits soins, le propriétaire très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, tout comme les dîners et déjeuners que vous pouvez prendre sur place.

I loved the hosts, Mari and Luís! They make the place feel like home and Mari's cooking is so good! She also effortlessly adapted my dishes for lactose intolerance without me having to explain or ask. They provide free filtered water, fruit and coffee. The rooms are provided with intact mosquito nets. The location is remote, but they helped me reach the place and were very responsive when I reached out on whatsapp, so it was no issue at all. Their coffee plants are spread across the premise and integrated with the natural habitat, true syntrophy.

Nous n avons pas pu y aller. Impossible d accès. J'ai prévenu la propriétaire que nous allons arriver vers 20h. Et elle me dit de garer la moto en bas a côté d une boulangerie et ensuite de monter à pieds environ 10min. Gros mensonge!! Il y a au moins pour 1h de marche en montée ( avec les sacs ados dos) sur une cote tres raide, nous avons essayé de monter avec la moto mais le sentier est tres dangereux ( même a moto n a pas reussi a monter tellement que c est raide! Et c est en plus tres loin) bref nous avons eu peur. Un voisin est venu a notre secours , ils ont appelés la propriétaire qui nous a proposé de venir nous chercher mais il fallait qu on lui paye le déplacement! Nous avons du trouver un autre logement tard dans la nuit !Bref une honte!!! Pourquoi dire que l accès est facile et de courte durée ?!? Alors que c est loin et dangereux pour y accéder !

This place is so special. The view from the rooms and various lookout points is so beautiful. It’s the perfect place to relax for a few days. The room was large and very comfortable with hammocks on the balcony. The cooking for lunch and dinner was so delicious, with fresh / healthy ingredients, huge portions at a very reasonable price (~40k per person). There is free coffee available all day. There is so much wildlife around the property to spot - including many hummingbirds. The property is 4km above the centre of Minca (~25 min drive) - you can organise a moto / 4 x 4 to collect you easily (costing 20k per journey but it does feel far so this felt like a fair price). This drive up is worth it for the views and the tranquility of being in the middle of the jungle.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is incomparable. So far, it's been the most beautiful place I've been to (and I've traveled a lot).

I honestly loved everything. Just be aware that the location is very remote and high up the mountain. It's best to arrange a taxi through the hotel ans travel during the day time.

C'est le paradis là-haut, ca a été un véritable crève coeur de devoir partir...la maison, la végétation, les animaux, perroquets et toucan à domicile, personnel aux petits soins, plats délicieux et équilibrés, rando dans la forêt tropicale. Ce séjour nous a rendu très heureux. Merci à tous nos hôtes !

Das Hotel liegt hoch oben am Berg. Ohne 4x4 Taxi oder Mofataxis kommt man dort nicht hin. Dafür wird man aber entschädigt mit der Traumlage. Sehr schöne Sonnenuntergänge, super freundliches Personal, gute Küche (Fürhstück und Abendessen), familiäre Atmosphäre, traumhafte Aussicht, usw. Trinkwasser steht auch zur Verfügung. Auch der Tukan ist der Hammer.

Die geführte Tour zu einem Badewasserfall war sehr streng. Klar, der Wasserfall war schön, aber die vielen Höhenmeter in der Hitze waren herausfordernd. Würden wir nicht mehr machen.

Die Lodge ist wunderschön. Das gesamt Areal wie auch auch die Unterkünfte sind sehr gepflegt und laden zum Entspannen und Genießen ein. Das Zimmer und Bad sind großzügig geschnitten. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer bzw. dem Balkon ist fantastisch. Das Essen vor Ort ist sehr gut und zu einem fairen Preis. Da die Lodge ziemlich abseits liegt, benötigt man ab Minca ein Motortaxi oder Jeep. Die Extrakosten dafür sind recht hoch, lassen sich aber deutlich minimieren, wenn man sich die Fahrt mit anderen Gästen teilt. Großartig ist dabei, dass man sich über das Hotel direkt mit anderen Gästen in Verbindung setzen kann, wenn man sich eine Fahrt teilen möchte. Ein letzter genialer Punkt: man kann vor Ort per Paypal zahlen ohne zusätzliche Kosten! Alles in allem die tollste Unterkunft die ich auf meiner Reise hatte.

Het was een erg prettig verblijf. Zowel het personeel, de omgeving en de kamer waren naar wens. Het is een klim met een jeep de berg op (hiervoor waarschuwen ze je ook netjes) en deze kan je delen via een service. Het uitzicht is prachtig, het eten is gevarieerd (en hielden rekening met vegan), kamers zijn schoon. Een fijne plek om uit de drukte te kunnen. Ze hebben ook een fijne wandeling over het terrein. Waar ook wat fruit te plukken is.

Ik kan het niet bedenken.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in dem Bergen von Minca. Bei schönem Wetter - vor allem Nachts - mit einmaligen Ausblick. Sowohl das inkludierte Frühstück, wie auch das optional. angebotene Abendessen waren sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Der Kaffee aus eigenem Anbau hat uns so gut geschmeckt, dass wir mehrere Packungen mitgenommen haben. Personal ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das absolute Highlight waren aber neben den wunderschön angelegten Garten natürlich der Tucan Silvester und die beiden lachenden Papageien. Alles in allem ein idyllisches Stück vom Paradies und wir waren froh um die Distanz zu dem mit Backpacker überlaufenen Ortskern.

Da es während unseres Aufenthalts leider sehr neblig und teilweise nasskalt war, hätten wir einen Kamin im Zimmer gut gebrauchen können, um es noch gemütlicher zu haben - aber dies ist jammern auf sehr sehr hohem Niveau. ;-)

The walk from the 4x4 drop off to the property can be a kicker after a long day but worth it for the views and sunsets!

Sintropia was in a stunning mountain jungle location. We enjoyed seeing all the birds and meeting Sylvester the toucan. It was quiet and peaceful. Mari and Luis were very friendly and helpful.

Window blinds on the side were broken which obscured a beautiful view. Clips could be provided to keep them up.

Lokalizacja na wzgórzu w środku dżungli i z widokiem na morze cudowna. Obsługa bardzo pomocna i miła. Oswonone dwie papugi były super. Zdecydowanie polecam!

The difficulty for to get to the entrance, plus climbing the last 250 meters to the entrance. The extra costs of 240.000 COP for each time for going up and down to the hotel. Over a really bumpy road for 30 min each time. You can’t bring big luggage. Be prepared for the biting of the mosquitoes (gegen)

Incroyable endroit en nature. Très apaisant. Le personnel est adorable et la nourriture est plus qu’excellente.

Il faut 1h15 de marche pour se rendre au village de Minca. Si vous n’êtes pas du genre à passer la journée à l’hôtel, il faut le considérer. Pour remonter, il vous coûtera 30 000 COP pour un moto-taxi.

Tout était sublime. Le lieu, l'environnement, l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. Nous conseillons vivement et regrettons de devoir partir.

We left Sintropia feeling extremely relaxed - and we really hope we’ll be able to visit again in the future. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at. It is located in a gorgeous and secluded location, high up in the mountaintops. While the trek up might be slightly tiring on a hot day (there are 4x4 jeep and mototaxi available too), you are rewarded with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and ocean. It made us appreciate the beauty of nature even more and the sunsets are 10/10. Everything you needed is there - the food, coffee and juices are delicious and healthy, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. There is no expectations to sell you anything, you’re just there to relax. It’s probably the best place to stay in Minca and we’d highly recommend to anyone who is looking to recharge and reconnect with life.

minca Sintropia ist einfach toll. Ich war 3 Tage dort. Tolle Lage, tolle Gastgeber, tolles Essen, einfach alles ganz ganz toll. Ein Aufenthalt dort ist unbedingt zu empfehlen :-) Ich werde bestimmt dort wieder hinfahren.

In Sintropia stimmt einfach jedes Detail. Die gesamte Anlage ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe gestaltet, die Zimmer sind stilvoll, gemütlich und laden sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein. Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight: abwechslungsreich, frisch und sogar besser als in vielen Restaurants, die wir auf unserer Reise besucht haben. Und der Kaffee ist einfach unschlagbar! Jeden Morgen konnten wir beim Frühstück Papageien und Kolibris beobachten. Das Gelände selbst ist atemberaubend schön und bietet so viel zu entdecken, dass wir es während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts kein einziges Mal verlassen haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das wunderbare Personal: herzlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Für uns war Sintropia ganz klar das schönste Hotel unserer Kolumbienreise und ein Ort, an den wir jederzeit sofort zurückkehren würden.

Ein unglaublich schöner Ort da oben mit Worten schwer zu beschreiben. Eine Oase der Ruhe man hört nichts ausser Vogelgezwitscher. Konnten uns nicht satt sehen an der wundervollen Natur mit diesem Ausblick. Ein weiteres Highlight war ein zutraulicher Tucan der zu uns auf den Tisch der Veranda geflogen ist und dann auch ins Zimmer gegangen ist. Wir haben nur gestaunt. Es war alles perfekt sassen abends am lagerfeuer mit netten Leuten. Essen war grandios. Der Kaffee wird dort abgebaut schmeckt fantastisch. Toller Aufenthalt

Very peaceful environment and beautiful sunsets. Lots of wildlife to see and the meals made by the staff are great / affordable. Activities are close by - walkable or can easily hire transportation.

Rooms above the kitchen can be a little noisy due to the going-ons. Would recommend a cabin if it’s available.

Perfekt um zur Ruhe zu kommen, den Regenwald zu erleben und dazu noch sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Das gefilterte Trinkwasser kommt direkt aus einer Quelle und schmeckt richtig gut. Highlight: Die zwei lachenden Papageien und der Tukan Silvestre :)

Das Moskitonetz hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Allerdings gab es in unserem Zimmer tatsächlich kein Problem mit Moskitos

To miejsce jest tak świetne że ocena, którą chcielibyśmy wystawić nie mieściłaby się w skali ocen na booking. Kilka dni w Minca Sintropia to jak przenieść się na chwilę do raju. Trudno opisać, trzeba to po prostu zobaczyć. Top1 miejsce do pobytu w jakim byliśmy ever.

Die Location ist der absolute Hammer! Die Unterkünfte und der Blick sind etwas ganz bespnderes. Jede Mahlzeit war wirklich sehr lecker, sogar leckerer als in manchen Restaurants in Santa Marta. Man legt hier wirklich Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, Engagement und Qualität. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Das Personal immer sehr nett unf hilfsbereit.

¡Sintropia es un lugar maravilloso! En nuestro viaje a Colombia era uno de los luagres que deseábamos conocer en Minca, y sin dudas fue un gran acierto. Es un lugar para conectar con la tranquilidad, el descanso y la naturaleza. Es una belleza lo lindo y cuidado que está todo, desde los espacios naturales hasta las habitaciones. Todo super pensado y en coherencia con el cuidado del medio ambiente, la sustentabilidad y el turismo responsable. Luis, Mary y todo el personal son súper amables y atentos. Cabe destacar que los desayunos y las opciones de comida fueron siempre deliciosas, variadas y nutritivas! Realmente recomiendo tomarse unos días para simplemente estar allí y disfrutar de la finca. La llegada a la finca es un poco desafiante pero hermosa, recomiendo ir en jeep.

The view is stunning and we loved watching the sunset from the balcony and the sunset platform. The staff is super friendly and help you out with anything you need. The room was spacious, and the bed is big and comfortable. One of the highlights was their own coffee: super delicious and free :) We would definitely come back.

It’s a safe heaven for the soul and a charger for your brain. They envisioned a sustainable and genuine all round experience and they got it all. The atmosphere is unique, views astonishing and a fine style is part of the game.

Mari and Luis are so friendly and lovely as hosts. The food is dope, the grounds are lovely, it was the highlight of my Colombia trip.

der preis ist deutlich zu hoch für die ausstattung. es ist doch sehr ökig und rustikal, das sieht man auf den bildern nicht ganz so. es gibt nur ein abendessen, keine auswahl.

El lugar es hermoso y perfecto para descansar. La comida es fresca y saludable.

No se puede hacer mucho ruido.
