Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Beautiful holiday accommodation situated close to Marloth entrance, Spar, Crocodile Bridge Gate to Kruger etc. Modern and stylish with everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved feeding pellets we bought from Spar to the local wildlife.
Nothing we didn't like specifically - just a suggestion to add a lekker braai tongs for meat (the shell shape ones are always a good idea) And perhaps another hook or two for towels in the bathrooms The rest was perfect.

Infelizmente, nossa experiência na hospedagem ficou aquém do esperado em alguns pontos importantes relacionados ao conforto e à estrutura da casa. Das três diárias, em duas tivemos problemas com água quente, resultando em banhos frios após dias longos e cansativos no parque. No primeiro dia, fomos informados de que o problema decorria de uma interrupção no fornecimento de água em toda a região, o que compreendemos perfeitamente. Já no segundo dia, a justificativa foi uma chave desligada e somente no terceiro dia um eletricista foi acionado. Ainda assim, não ficou claro como funciona o sistema de reserva de água quente, pois, após o segundo banho, a água voltava a ficar fria. Depois de um dia inteiro de passeio, chegar à acomodação sem conseguir tomar um banho quente e confortável é bastante frustrante. Outro ponto que comprometeu a experiência foi a qualidade das toalhas. Após o primeiro uso, algumas já apresentavam um odor desagradável, transmitindo a sensação de higienização inadequada, o que nos levou a utilizar as toalhas destinadas à piscina. Também sentimos falta de maior privacidade nos banheiros. A ausência de portas pode funcionar para alguns perfis de hóspedes, mas nem sempre as pessoas que viajam juntas possuem intimidade suficiente para abrir mão desse momento mais reservado e confortável. Em relação à estrutura da cozinha, a casa dispõe de lava-louças, porém a quantidade de utensílios não parece suficiente para que o equipamento seja realmente funcional no dia a dia. A impressão é de que ele acaba sendo mais útil para otimizar a limpeza da casa do que para trazer praticidade aos hóspedes. Honestamente, acreditamos que uma máquina de lavar roupas agregaria muito mais conforto e utilidade à estadia.

There was an electricity issue throughout the area for the weekend, thus the solar was kicked in. However, the solar power only lasted till 6am, spent our entire weekend in the cold. We had to shower in cold water for both days. To make matters worse, it was a cold weekend and we could only charge our phones at the the local restaurant but it was useless because there wasn’t any network.

I hated the spiders, but that’s a me thing 🫢 so definitely bring insecticide.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025The attention to detail won me over. So comfortable, lovely bedding, super clean, just beautiful. They thought of everything to make your stay easy, comfortable and effortless. I am not sure if cleaning services are available, but if it is, I missed the option, at least the dishwasher worked perfectly. There was no plug for the hairdryer. (just a friendly heads up). Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2025Everything was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. There are aircons throughout. The braai area was lovely with a dining table on the patio. The animals visited regularly. We would recommend this place.
There is not enough space for clothing, but it has a minimalist layout. There are no bathroom doors, but it works for a couple or small family of 4.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2025Everything about this home is amazing. It is very tastefully furnished, and everything - from the towels, to bedding, to glassware - is of the best quality. There is air-con in every room, which was a godsend, and large windows that allow for great views over the garden and watering hole that attracted kudu, warthogs, mongeese, and buck throughout the day. The pool and braai area is also just lovely. We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back, or to recommend.
We loved everything. Would have liked a broom to clean up after ourselves, and a clothes line to hang up wet towels and laundry. Other than that, everything was perfect.

(we stayed in 4 different places) From the host (she was just lovely and so accommodating) to the facilities, there is nothing short in this unit, to the beds - oh my, so comfy, to the cleanliness - a big bonus was the domestic who came to clean our unit, also very friendly and helpful. Everything was of top quality.. We highly recommend Leopard's Khaya @ Marloth Park. WE WILL BE BACK!!

The accommodation itself is wonderfully designed, seamlessly integrating rustic charm with modern amenities. The house is cozy and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The large windows allowed us to wake up to breathtaking views of the bush, and the spacious deck provided a perfect spot for morning coffee while listening to the symphony of birds. The pictures don't do it justice. In conclusion, this bush getaway is a slice of paradise that I cannot recommend highly enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a family adventure, or a peaceful solo escape, this place offers it all. We left feeling rejuvenated and inspired by the natural beauty we were fortunate enough to experience. We will definitely be returning!
