Ich hatte einen sehr herzlichen empfang & eine freundliche Gastgeberin. Der Aufenthalt war sehr familiär und entschleunigend, es wurde jeden Abend von der Gastgeberin frisch gekocht und zusammen gegessen. Ich bin mit dem Motorrad hier und konnte die gegend erkunden und die Gastgeberin empfahl mir ein paar echt klasse Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sie spricht gut englisch und war immer darauf bedacht mir den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍🏻

Located in remote village. Very quiet. Basic room but cozy. Nice, friendly host.

Nhung and her family are very friendly. The food is tasty and the surrounding area is very beautiful. Would recommend if you are coming here to be able to ride a scooter, as a bit far from Moc Chau city and surrounding waterfalls (Moc Chau city is also far from these sites) but that does help make it a peaceful retreat!

The property was beautiful and the room was really comfortable! The dinner was amazing and also the breakfast and special coffee :) We had an amazing time around the fire with the other guests and also fantastic karaoke!! So many laughs and I would absolutely stay again

A very enjoyable stay. Delicious food, a lovely family run homestay. Perfect for me as I wanted a quiet place in a village with lots of walks nearby. Very helpful with anything I needed. Highly recommended!

My friends and I stayed at retreat home in moc Chau for 3 nights. We started out with exceptional text communication from the host, Nhung to help us arrive late at night, inviting us to meet her husband Dung at the hotel he manages in town, in which he made us tea and personally drove us to the village where the homestay is! He is so lovely and chatted to us the whole drive (he is a very safe driver, even through heavy fog, making sure to wipe the car windscreen lots to be safe). When we arrived to Home we met Nhung, who is the most lovely and kind lady, she gave us tea and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. We slept in beds with lovely fluffy blankets and it was such a cute little house! Breakfast is delicious - the omelettes were so delicious, pancakes were yum and the drip coffee is some of the best we’ve tasted! The vibe here is so relaxing and we had a much needed rewind in nature, we felt so safe and comfortable in Nhung’s care. We explored the tea plantations and watched the sunset which was amazing. We had the most lovely family dinners with Nhung and her son, THE BEST FOOD we’ve had in the whole of Vietnam so far!!! Nhung is an incredible cook, and both nights she made a whole feast of different dishes which we loved. I highly recommend coming here for an experience which will stay with you for a lifetime, we will never forget Nhung and Dung and their hospitality and kindness. We hope one day we can come back here and visit them again. Thankyou Nhung we will miss you ❤️❤️❤️

Host super nice and thoughtful

Great host who made us beautiful food and coffee and was very helpful through our stay. You are treated like one of the family. Good walks through the countryside, with small villages to visit with views of mountains and tea and rice fields.

It can be a little difficult to get to from Moc Chau town. A moped is best, as there are not many taxis

I loved it here! The host is so SO wonderful, and it’s obvious that she’s passionate about what she does. I stayed on a Friday night and a group of folks were celebrating with some karaoke. She invited me to join them, which was very considerate. And she also apologized for the noise and made sure the other guests respected the curfew. Again, a very considerate thing to do. I got a private room on the ground floor and it had wonderful lighting, lots of blankets and a bed that was firm but overly so.

Nothing at all. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Vietnam.

In the middle of tea plant farms, super local location, far from touristic spots which makes you relax Super friendly host! It was truly a homestay. We got to have dinner with family and talk about different things.

My stay here was the most wonderful vacation I've ever had. The location was quiet, clean, extremely safe, refreshing and easily accessible to all other attractions. The host was genuine, warm and open-minded. I love her heartfelt care for the guest, freshly homemade and delicious meals with vegetables from the nearby gardens, thoughtful and lovely stories about local lives and openness to all diverse guests from all over the world. It is the place where you can be safe and sound, comforted and looked after just like another home on your road.

A bit far from the center

We had such a lovely time staying here. Nhung and Dung were amazing hosts that made us feel part of their family. It's such a peaceful location and we really enjoyed getting into village life. Nhung is an excellent cook and we loved sharing their family meals with them. The views from the local 'tea hill' are breathtaking. The location is remote but that's part of the charm.

Beautiful nature, fresh air and delicious homemade food makes the best rest. The host was the best I ever met in all of homestays in Vietnam, she was very hospitable and friendly, we had a lot of conversations during our dinners. If you want a quiet beautiful place to rest and enjoy nature and good food, highly recommend this Retreat House.

This place is located in a quite remote area from Moc Chau town, but if you have a mororbike, it's not a problem

We have been warmly welcomed and spend nice time with the family during our dinner. The place is located in a peaceful and non touristic village. Will definitely come back if we will have a chance.

Lovely property with the friendliest family. We had such a great time with Nhung & Vhung. Delicious authentic dinner and rice wine, with very open and interesting conversation. Made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our stay.

Is a little out of the way, but not a big deal as they can order taxis or rent you motorbikes

The owners are super nice and helpful. They were always ready to help with anything I needed and greeted me with open arms after a long drive.

It's a little farther away from civilization than I expected. That can be a good thing. However, the village is super small.

My Host was so nice. I was sick and she and her son help me so much, so i was able to be on my motorbike the next day. Very friendly and lovely person. Always smiling. Thank you so much again!

We are so glad we chose this homestay for our trip to Moc Chau. The hosts are so friendly and made us feel very welcome, like a home away from home. The house itself is beautiful and the surroundings very peaceful. We enjoyed the food at dinner time and also the coffee and breakfast in the morning... Nhung makes delicious pancakes! She also made me ginger and lemongrass tea when I was feeling unwell. We also enjoyed a wonderful trek through the surrounding villages with Dung. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hosts are incredibly nice and kind. They were very helpful in giving us directions to the accommodation, advice on where to rent a scooter and they waited for us to get there very late at night. They welcomed us into their homes with open arms and treated us to a few lovely, homemade goodies and a warm fire. The location is gorgeous. It's a shame we were only there for one night. We would totally recommend this place if you want to get away from the noise and the crowds.

Beautiful house with very welcoming warm family. They were trying their best for us to feel comfy. Food was just amazing and trying sugar cane amd corn prepared in fire was very interesting.

The location is a bit uncomfortable, especially if you dont have your private car.

We are truly welcome here. On the first day we arrived, we had delicious chicken hotpot and grilled food over an open fire. The scenery here is so poetic and fresh. We enjoyed delicious food and were shown beautiful places in Moc Chau and were also treated to a party before leaving. Thank you very much Mr Dung and Mrs Nhung for giving us a wonderful vacation and see you again in the near future.

The staff were very nice and the view was beautiful.

The room was much much below our expectations. The bathroom was flooded, the toilet was completely broken, there were lots of insects in the whole room - even some dead mosquitoes on the floor. There was no air conditioner and the fan was so so noisy all night, and even though there was a fan in the room, it was very hot and humid

The breakfast was very tasty. I liked the local food there. The homestay was far enough from the center. It was quite convenient to reach there while we can enjoy fresh air, spectacular mountainous scenery and the forest tranquility. It was an excellent experience with my beloveds.

I wished there could be more rooms so that I could bring my big family there in the future. However, I understand that they have just started the business. I hope in the next 2 or 3 years, they can extend the homestay to have more rooms and facilities for family tourists like us.

Accommodation in a very nice place, quiet and beautiful. The rooms are clean and have a nice view. The food is delicious. The family that hosted us was very pleasant and kind, we had a nice evening together. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, we will definitely come back and stay longer. For every recommendation.

We were welcomed with a delicious family diner and interesting chit-chat. The room was very nice and follow-up breakfast very tasty. We can only recommend the host couple and the place, we would come again.

Everything was perfect!

I saw the Retreat Home Ban Doi Moc Chau on Booking.com. So I booked it to stay one night, it is very happy to stay here My room faces to the farm and I can see the fishing pool in from my room as well. It is clean and comfortable I ate dinner with the family, it was the best enjoyable moment because there were many guests staying on the same table with me I love my stay in the homestay It is good place for my time in Moc Chau

What a lovely place to stay for 3 days. Yum and Sum are the friendliest hosts. I really enjoyed the family dinners together. Good value accommodation in a peaceful setting. If you are looking for a homestay experience I can recommend this place. You still have privacy and time for yourself. Fun to see the real Vietnam without other tourists. Good place to relax, trail run and explore by motorbike.

It’s a bit of a drive out of Moc Chau but it also makes it more special

Mr. and Mrs. Tran are absolutely wonderful hosts. I felt entirely at home here. I came to Moc Chau for the Vietnam Trail Series 42K race, and this was my first time in Vietnam, so I really didn’t know what I was doing or what to expect. I knew that I needed somewhere quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Retreat Home was perfect. I spent my week here walking and running through the beautiful mountains and tea plantations, reading on the patio attached to my room, and eating the delicious food home-cooked by Mrs. Tran (The grilled pork with lemongrass, onion, ginger, and pepper was incredible.) It was the perfect place for me to prepare for the race, both physically and mentally. The room was clean and quiet and had everything I needed to feel comfortable. If you like nature, tasty authentic Vietnamese cuisine, peaceful environment (they even put on relaxing Vietnamese music during mealtime) and friendly hosts, this is the place for you! Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Tran!

It was a bit far from town, but this really is not a problem, as you can rent a moto or call a cab for a good price.

Great place in the heart of Moc Chau. Surrounded by green hills of tea plantations. I visited this place for mountain running competition. I love nature and silence, so I stopped here. Not far from the hotel there are various trekking routes, beautiful nature, so if you like hiking or mountain running, then this is a good place. Most of all I liked the caring attitude of the owner Ms. Tran. I felt at home, like at my mother :) The rooms are not big, but clean and comfortable, everything you need is there. Nothing prevented me from resting. Besides, I can say about the menu prepared by Ms. Tran, here everyone can find a dish to their liking. Everything is very tasty. The hotel has a BBQ, a small playground where children can play, convenient parking for cars and sun loungers on the second floor overlooking the valley. Usually I stay only in expensive five star hotels, but this time I did not have time to book and chose Retreat Home, to my surprise everything was fine with a high level of quality.
