My girlfriend reached out to the hosts privately to organize a surprise for my birthday, and they specifically prepared a birthday card, pastel de nata and small port wine bottles upon our arrival. Very small remarks: - noisy sometimes and maybe the windows could be renewed (easier to open, better insonorisation) - a bit of black spots on the joints of the shower - personal preference: single mattress although double mattress was barely noticeable.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026O apartamento é confortável para um casal. A cama é confortável, estava tudo limpo e a localização é excelente, permitindo conhecer grande parte do centro histórico a pé. Outro ponto muito positivo foi a atenção dos anfitriões, eles entraram em contato diversas vezes para saber como estava nossa estadia, perguntaram se precisávamos de ajuda e deram ótimas recomendações da cidade. Esse cuidado fez toda a diferença e nos sentimos muito bem recebidos.
O apartamento não corresponde exatamente às fotos do anúncio. Alguns móveis e a disposição dos ambientes são diferentes, o que cria uma expectativa um pouco diferente da realidade. O chuveiro também poderia ser melhor. Outro ponto é a região ao redor do prédio: havia muitas pessoas em situação de rua e usuários de drogas na esquina e na entrada do edifício, o que nos fez sentir um pouco inseguros, principalmente à noite. Além disso, para quem está de carro, é difícil encontrar estacionamento próximo e normalmente é preciso parar mais longe e caminhar até o apartamento.

Die Nachbarschaft ist etwas zwielichtig, in der Nacht kann es schon mal lauter werden…

It is an excellent location: Across the road from São Bento station, walking distance from Ribeira & Gaia. Compliments to Jade for excellent service. She arrived within 5 minutes of us phoning her when we arrived at the apartment.

A rua do apartamento infelizmente é habitada por MUITOS moradores de rua usuários de drogas, o que me chocou muito e nos deixou inseguros inclusive no dia de ir embora na manhã pois estava tendo uma briga. O anúncio diz ter vaga, no entanto são vagas públicas na rua e novamente, moradores pedindo e te coagindo dinheiro para não estragar seu carro. Muito inseguro para sair cedo ou chegar tarde/ao anoitecer.

The apartment itself is wonderful, just that the vibe near Sao Bento at night can be unfriendly to alone travelers, especially women.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Très bon séjour dans ce logement. Il est parfaitement adapté pour une semaine, avec tout le nécessaire sur place pour se sentir comme à la maison. Le logement est bien équipé, fonctionnel et agréable à vivre. Un vrai plus pour le personnel qui gère l’établissement : ils sont vraiment aux petits soins, disponibles et attentifs, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus appréciable.
Le seul petit point à noter concerne l’accessibilité : l’entrée et la porte peuvent être un peu difficiles au début, ainsi que les escaliers, mais cela fait aussi partie du charme des logements typiques du Portugal.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Alles was op loopafstand. Het ligt zeer centraal gelegen naast het centraal station, maar je merkt door de steeg waar het aan lag niet dat je in het drukke centrum zit.
De airco was net stuk gegaan. Daardoor was het toch best benauwd binnen. Kan uiteraard gebeuren. Er was wel een ventilator, maar dat hielp niet bij het benauwde gevoel. Communicatie hierover verliep vlot en er was even weinig aan te doen. Savonds kon je ook niet de ramen open zetten i.v.m. kans op muggen.

Endroit très bien situé. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Porto. Nous n’hésitons pas à recommander cet endroit pour votre séjour à Porto.
Il manquait un sèche linge .. mais nos hôtes ont rapidement fourni un support pour sécher le linge. Petite note: le grille-pain pourrait être amélioré.

La via in cui si trova, soprattutto la sera, risulta molto buia e frequentata da persone poco raccomandabili (zona di spaccio e presenza di homeless). In futuro potrebbe anche essere riqualificata, ma al momento la situazione non è delle migliori. Viaggiando da sola, non mi sono sentita tranquilla: una ragazza del posto, incontrata in stazione mentre acquistavo un tour, mi ha messa in guardia appena ha sentito l’indirizzo, sconsigliandomi di rientrare da sola dopo le 21:30 (informazione confermata anche da una guida locale). Ritengo che questo sia un aspetto importante che la struttura dovrebbe segnalare agli ospiti, soprattutto a chi viaggia in solitaria. Non essendone a conoscenza, avrei potuto rientrare anche più tardi, con possibili rischi. Questa situazione ha inciso sulla qualità del mio soggiorno, rendendolo meno rilassante e facendomi dormire poco serenamente. Un altro aspetto da considerare è che la struttura non dispone di ascensore: sono presenti diverse scale, che possono risultare scomode per chi ha difficoltà a camminare o viaggia con valigie pesanti. Infine, suggerirei di organizzare meglio la colazione, magari su prenotazione o con una gestione più attenta, per evitare sprechi.

A bit tricky to find the way. It's actually just opposite the metro station, with a steep slope and a slight turn, you'll arrive. But we lost our way and circled the neighbourhood.

Salle de bain usagée pommeau scotché, fixation branlante, réglage de la température de l’eau trop difficile, traces de moisissures. Mauvaise fixation du robinet du lavabo. Fenêtres qu’on ne peut pas maintenir en position ouverte

Plusieurs petits défauts (fenêtres difficiles à ouvrir/fermer), eau chaude difficile à régler, quelques équipements pas assez bien fixés (robinet, porte manteau), cuisine équipée avec des ustensiles basiques.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Se encuentra en una ubicación excelente para visitar Oporto caminando, además está muy cerca de una parada de bus y de la estación. La cama era muy cómoda y grande, y en general no se escuchan ruidos y se puede descansar bien. Super amables los anfitriones.
Se encuentra en un callejón sin salida que frecuenta gente con malas pintas, da un poco de mal rollo. Además la ventana al ser un bajo no la puedes abrir porque da directamente a la calle, así que es una habitación oscura y sin vistas. Nos permitieron dejar nuestro equipaje tras el check out de forma gratuita en otro edificio en la habitación de limpieza, nos dijeron que ahí solo tienen acceso ellos con código, pero cuando fuimos a dejar el equipaje estaba abierta la puerta, y cuando fuimos a recogerlo igual, y había maletas de otras personas...

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Un très bel appartement dans un quartier bien placé dans la ville, à quelques pas de la Cathédrale d'un côté et de la gare de l'autre. Il y avait le nécessaire dans l'appartement et les hôtes étaient très disponibles. Une très bonne expérience, merci !
Pas de bémol, meme si jaurais aimé accéder plus tot à l'appartement afin de me poser. Cependant les hôtes proposaient de garder les affaires !

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026Appartement spacieux, bien équipé, très propre et très bien placé. A côté de tous commerces ou restaurants et d'une station de métro, cependant on peut tout faire à pied. Le propriétaire très à l'écoute, nous a envoyé plusieurs messages pendant notre séjour pour savoir si nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Très facile pour récupérer les clés.
RAS si ce n'est l'appartement au 3ème sans ascenseur...😫après une bonne journée de marche, les trois étages sont difficiles à grimper !!!😉

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026The location was excellent, very close to the train station and within easy walking distance to the bridge, the river and other main attractions. Despite Porto’s hills, getting around was easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The heating worked very well, the kitchen had everything we needed and the internet connection was strong. The entrance and check-in process were simple and convenient.
There is no elevator, which might be challenging for some guests, but it was not a major issue for us
