Everything was phenomenal ✨️ 🙌 absolutely loved the location, rooms, jacuzzi, and kitchen facilities. The view from the first bedroom is breathtaking, and my family and i had the most comfortable sleep. It's definitely worth the money. We'll definitely come and stay at Roam Taupo anytime I visit taupo.

The walk from the car park to the room can be a bit difficult, especially if you're carrying bigger luggage 🧳. Overall, no complaints.

It is a great place, the lake views are awesome and it is nice to be soo close to the lake and town. It's warm, comfortable, nice kitchen and having a spa is also a bonus.

The walk down and up from the road can be a bit much for some people, especially with heavy suitcases, for it wasn't an issue at all.

The bathroom sink water takes longer to go down. Maybe getting blocked or something. Please clean it. Thanks

We had a fantastic stay at Roam. The location is excellent, with beautiful views that made it a lovely place to relax and unwind. The accommodation was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and very well presented. It felt comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed for our stay. We genuinely couldn't fault a thing and would happily stay here again in the future. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

I liked the spa and the layout of the house it was really nicely placed out and decorated.

I didn't like how the different units weren't fully separated, like the small trees and screen not fully blocking off the other unit.

Location is lovely - but beware the stairs. If you have mobility issues. You can access the property from the lakeside but it is a longer get journey.

Quality of kitchen pots / pans and fittings etc could be better. Nice now but will wear fairly quickly.

The view was amazing and the space was nice. It was also really close to shops and places to eat.

If you got the lower units, it would be a little inconvenient with luggage’s and elderly. There were 4 units, but on our first night, it was a little difficult to park our car as another guest had parked at a weird spot. The bed linen did not feel fresh/clean.

Absolute lakefront location. Great views. Very comfortable unit with all amenities provided, including a hot tub and luxurious shower. Pleasant walk to town and local amenities. Great comms from the host. Access was well managed with key entry. Highly recommend a stay at this venue, and will definately consider a return visit.

Multiple steps to and from the parking was somewhat downplayed in the description, but it's quite a slog with heavy luggage back up. Fortunately there is a service road with parking about 200m away which makes the exercise bearable. The unit could benefit from an outside retractable line for wet swimwear and towels especially if the unit is fully occupied.

Neues, modernes Appartement direkt am Lake Taupo. Schöne große Terrasse, Schönes Badezimmer mit sehr großer bodentiefer Dusche, gut ausgestattete Küche, insgesamt sehr gut. Ganz besonders war die positive Erfahrung beim umgehenden Austausch von Bratpfannen, die kaputt gegangen sind.

Ich würde nicht sagen, nicht gefallen, aber man sollte es wissen: Der Jacuzzi steht etwas lieblos hinter dem Appartement. Es ist etwas sehr einsehbar von Gehweg und ab morgens um 6 sind die Jogger bereits zu hören. Es ist auch sehr nah zur direkten Nachbarschaft.

We didn't expect bunk bed as we are all are adults. One person has to sleep on living room on the couch.

Love all! Just a note we didn’t realise was the stairs with heavy suitcases but sorted our departure via walking along lake to car park. Would have been easier on way in as well if we had done that!!

Location and newish home - was really good !

Only downside is lack of privacy at the front of the property to the neighbour. There were a few potted plants but could have done with a little more privacy.

Location, facilities (hot tub and free access to kayaks), located right on the lake (if you have accessibility problems definitely check this as unit 1 & 2 have some stairs to get down to the units). Place was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This was our favourite place that we stayed during our entire 3 week tour in New Zealand.

N/a literally the only thing I could suggest would be the addition of a lamp in the living room for the evening :)

Firstly the view was great and the place was lovely also the host came and put our beds together for no extra cost just time out of her busy life which was most appreciated, we found that it was just lovely watching people walk by the massive windows in the rooms,also everything you needed to be comfortable.

Stunning brand new unit, super comfortable and beautifully presented. Those views are absolutely amazing.

The only reason why I didn’t give it a 10 was because of those treacherous stairs! I knew there were stairs involved, but I definitely underestimated how steep it would be. Getting to the unit and back with a one year old and all our stuff in the rain was not easy.

Lovely spot right on the lake, very modern and clean. Excellent large shower. Grandchildren loved the spa.

Being right on the lake front people do stare into the lounge unfortunately so you do feel you need to shut the curtains for privacy…… but that was the only issue!

The property is stunning, modern and chic. I absolutely loved the decor, everything about this place has been carefully thought out and designed. I especially loved the bathroom, the shower was amazing! The facilities were great and the views from the front of the property are breathtaking. You cannot fault this property!

We had to rearrange the back bedroom when we arrived as we had asked for it to be set up as a double and when we arrived it was laid out as two single beds. Not great for an adult couple. This wasn’t made clear enough that I would need to give lots of notice about how I required the beds when on the photograph it was a double bed in that bedroom. I did message before our arrival in response to a message from the property which said I would have to request the room to be set up as a double, but this request was unfortunately not met. When we moved the beds around so we could sleep next to each other, there was the previous guest’s rubbish and crumbs behind the bed which was not the best of starts to the stay, however the beauty of the property and location made up for the not so great start! So I would not rate our stay down for this :)

We enjoyed a beautiful lake view in a stylish compact apartment. It was lovely to have a soak in the spa on a crisp Taupo evening.

What a view waking up each morning to just looking over the lake was amazing. The whole unit was beautiful and the shower it was brilliant

The accomodation was incredible beautiful view of the lake fantastic location very clean and new. The complimentary toiletries were great quality the beds were very comfortable and you never got sick of the view we will highly recommend to anyone to stay at Roam Taupo. We appreciated all the things this place had to offer the spa was a little touch of luxury we enjoyed that too.

A luxurious yet cozy stay offering spectacular views of Lake Taupo! This is the perfect place to unwind with your loved ones. The deck overlooking the pristine blue waters of the Lake is such a treat to your eyes. They have a hot tub, kayaks and a bbq setup for recreation. There are 4 similar units with 2 units situated at the Lake front, and 2 at the rear side, where the common car park is. It’s a fairly new property, the lower units are accessible by a ramp and a few steps, other than the path from the parking to the unit, everything was perfect. They have a well equipped, fully functional kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a nice and spacious bathroom with a washer and dryer. Two comfortable bedrooms with the first one having 3 single beds, 2 below and one at the loft and the second bedroom offering a spectacular view of the Lake. We were very fortunate to witness the Aurora Australia at the doorstep. It was a truly memorable stay here and would love to come again in the future!

Squeaky clean with fantastic views and amenities. Loved being straight on the lake. Really quiet too since the road is up above.

Amazing location. Clean and tidy. Our American visitors couldn't believe the view. Main bedroom and bathroom great, second bedroom unusual. However, there is no privacy from the other half of the rental on the balcony or in the spa pool. Stove top inefficient, and perhaps more glasses wouldn't go a miss.

Its fabulous location with the waters of Lake Taupo almost kissing its doorstep (at the back) makes this place worth locking down on for your next stay in Taupo. The deck is where you can sit and take in the spectacular vista, or just have a cup of tea and a nibble or work away at your next novel or project, on a notebook or a computer, or better still do all of it at once! Or can you can drop it all, and go for a quick swim in the waters or a run along the lake. Inside, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen and lounge area is where you'd want to spend most of your time for the view. Those with kids, their kids will love the climb up to the bunk-bed in one of the rooms, while the adults in the house can pamper their jaded bodies in the jacuzzi pool outside. Absolutely loved our stay here, and will come back again for a longer stay.

Perhaps nothing, but probably it would be great if one can score a deal on the price :). And yeah, accessing the place with heavy luggage can be quite tricky and intense for some as it is down a steep path (there are steps though and the section is guardrailed).

The location is wonderful. Communication and customer service could not be faulted. The steps down to the townhouse were clearly explained, but if you arrived on a dark wet night, you would need to take care. It was a great time in Taupo.

Code to door was wrong and needed to contact host. Need to number/allocate parking as other guests stole all parks.

Literally right on the lake waterfront; very clean and quite modern; good WiFi.

The apartment was back to back with another identical apartment, which resulted in some unwanted noise.

View on Taupo Lake, can even access the lake from our terrace. Great location, close to downtown.

Stunning location on the edge of Lake Taupo. Brand new house with quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Loved using the kayak, so easy with the property being so close to the lake. An abundance of restaurants in Taupo which is an easy 30 minute walk away on the lake side path.

The access is difficult, down many steps and slopes. The owners recognised this as an issue and did offer assistance, to be planned in advance. Lack of interior design touches. The second bedroom was just a white box, no pictures, wall hangings or view. The other rooms had minimal decor and touches.

We loved our stay right on the lake. The location of the house is just amazing. Loved being right by the water. It had a great deck and really comfortable outdoor furniture. The house is small but is well appointed lots of thought gone into having everything you need. The bathroom was great and the beds were good.

These were not big issues but good to know if staying: You share a deck with your neighbour which gives you no privacy.(apart from some potted plants) The top properties accesses the lake front by coming past the bedroom windows & they use the gate by the deck, during our stay they had young children. There is no aircon unit in the second bedroom and the one in the main bedroom is so loud we could not use it at night.

Stunning property, amazing location, lovely interior. Amazing to have a kayak and spa pool. We had a fabulous time and would love to return for longer.

The hosts were great at communicating and responded very quickly. The location was great and the house is great. The house has everything you need and the kayaks and life jackets are easily accessible to take to the lake. I loved that the cot was set up and ready when we arrived, lots of towels and a great place for family to stay. Was also nice and quiet at night.

The spa was cloudy and had quite a bit of sand and because of that we didn’t use. The bed in the main room sheets and under sheets felt damp and made it quite uncomfortable.

A very nice flat right on the lake. There was also a 2-seater kayak. The steps are a bit of a hassle with a lot of luggage, but if you know that, you only take the essentials down with you. 😉

Our food is not included in the room rate. The location of the accommodation is superb.
