I travelled with my son. We had separate rooms next to each other. We do not speak Chinese, so communication was sometimes difficult. One member of staff always had a translator ready to help us. Whenever we had a question about the hotel, the local area, or places to visit, he was always happy to help. We had problems with our phones, and he helped us with phone chargers. The zip on one of our suitcases broke, and he helped us order new suitcases. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He always went above and beyond to help us. His customer service was outstanding. 5 start service ! I travelled to many different places in China, and no other hotel matched the level of customer service that he provided. He is a great asset to the hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Everything about this hotel was very good... Breakfast was surprisingly good, mainly Asian food, but good. They did have a continental breakfast available, but during my stay, no one had it. Laundry room was a big plus. Staff were helpful. Location was good for me and close to everything I needed e.g supermarket, bus stops, good local food etc.

Although not permitted on the premises people clearly smoked. Despite asking for a non smoking room the smell of smoke in the room was very obvious. I would have given this hotel a score of 10 if it was not for the smoke. It was very unpleasant. Alas I am only willing to give a 5. Finally, I hope the hotel doesn't think I'm being spiteful. I only say this in the hope the hotel addresses the smoking issue. If it was not for this of it would have been a good hotel.

Отель не в самом центре Хайкоу, мы использовали для отдыха во время длинной стыковки при перелёте, в номерах курят, соответственно запах, учитывайте при бронировании, завтрак нормальный можно и нудл суп заказать а так мини шведский стол, для коротких остановок рекомендую!

Дверь душевой туалета (она единая) заедает, девушке открыть-закрыть будет сложно, возможно локальные проблемы конкретного номера

Breakfast was ok

It disappointed me about change of name that I wasn’t informed prior to my arrival. It has caused disruption and being stressful.

I had to wait for a longest time on the receptionist as they are having issue with the machine. And the staff did raise her voice when i don’t understand her. Please impove it, write it down if you are not comfortable to speak in english. I requested the staff to help bring my luggage to my room and was ignored 🤣

В целом, отель хороший, там достаточно свежий ремонт, удобная кровать и подушки, но стоит какой-то непонятный неприятный запах. Если нужно переночевать одну ночь, то вполне прилично

Free breakfast was decent. Staff were very helpful. Room was great value for money.

Breakfast was better in the hotel than many restaurants on the street. Many variety of dishes. Bed was very comfy with 4 pillows to myself. Voice activated lights gave me a chance to practice Mandarin.

Nearby shopping mall and 35 mins to airport. Hotel has free laundry and dryer for us to use which I like.

There is a smelly smell in the toilet. I believe maybe coming from the toilet bowl or sewage system. The hotel seems old and the bed isn't as comfortable due to long usage. Apart from the smell in the toilet, the rest was okay.

Smoke and urine smell on arrival. Bed sheet itchy. These problems reduced after issues raised to housekeeping and front desk. Electronic lock failed preventing access after breakfast. Housekeeping came with physical key which did not fit keyhole. Only by luck electronic lock worked after sometime shaking the lock !

The late night staff was VERY helpful and welcoming. The room is well designed, but no minibar fridge.

There was a bad smell in the hall, the buffet had tiny ants all over the food.

Amazing! Make sure u have adress in Chinese and show it to taxi driver… really nice hotel, comfortable and good location! I will be back:) good breakfast . Pillows and blankets are the best ! I went to 100 countries and never slept in such a comfortable bed !

They don’t speak English but they use transaltor so it’s easy to communicate and they are helpful.

The hotel has excellent value for money. Friendly staff, ready to help. Breakfast, although it does not seem to be a big choice, but in fact there is enough of everything. The only negative is that there is only one girl at the reception who speaks English. But, the guides will help you.

The hotel is new.. big rooms and state of the art. Impossible to fault it.!! A good breakfast ...free ...offered including western foods. The hotel also offers free laundry and ironing facilities and a free gym!!. Good wifi too. Was very quiet too. The staff were extremely helpful but as for all of China make sure u have a non google based translation app. The young fellow on reception at 5am even used his own app to pay and organize a taxi to the airport. There are many eateries very close by and shops. About 40 rmb trip to airport. All up...highly recommended. Great facilities and offerings at a budget cost.

It was more likely difficulty rather than dislike. Reception staff doesn't speak English, so if you don't pre-download the Chinese owned apps, it might be quite hard to communicate with them. We stayed couple of night in different time. Rooms are clean but quite smelly(smoking). I thing this hotel used to allow people smoking in the room. And the bed is really firm. I mean really hard.

out room has some smell issue the staffs were prompt and tried to resolve it. One was done the other was not as it is related to smoking smell and it seems like its the norm there that some guest can smoke inside room. Best is to ask for strictly non smoking

Local hotel, clean, good value considering the price we paid. For our next visit we would choose a place closer to Qilou old street and the parks up north, but still easy enough to reach everything via short didi rides
