Reviewed Jan 3, 2025We were there only for few hours. Reached around 12 am at night and left by 11 am. I was on the ground floor so it was easy to access.
My key wouldn’t worked, and when I called the staff I found her a bit rude. She kept saying we are putting the key in in a wrong way (not our first time using a key) turned out it was a wrong it. At 12 midnight we were stuck outside trying the key for almost half an hour.

It was difficult to find despite the very detailed indications. You REALLY have to concentrate to find the right building and doors :D

The room I had could not be locked from the outside. The instructions on picking up the key were not fully up to date, as there was a construction fence from where the key had to be picked up so another entry had to be used.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2024'Aivan Helmi' as the Finns would say. Landed at 23.00 started looking on bookings.com Airport hotels expensive. Found this place for €53. Booked and paid for it not knowing I could check-in so late. Took a taxi and was outside in minutes. Called a number at 01.00 and the person answered and was extremely helpful. Got the key and was resting in minutes. Super clean, perfect place. All mod cons there. Even some chicken noodles in the cupboard if you were hungry. Definitely use this place again. Life saver! Can't praise this place enough. Bigger than most hotel rooms I've stayed at. It said 20 min to the train station but I did it in 15min to the platform. €4.90 A,B,C ticket straight to the centre of Helsinki. Doesn't get any better!

All the furniture is cheapest stuff from Ikea. Bed sheets, coverings are synthetic cheapest stuff which is really uncomfortable to sleep in. It just needs small change (sheets, coverings, pillows) to something more nice for body than that stuff which makes you sweat and it would be wonderful place to spend a night near HEL airport.

Several chambers in the shared apartment, very bad soundproofing inside the room so anyone coming in the apartment will wake you up even if they are the most quiet possible, unfortunate that the apartment is not at walking distance from the airport. Also the bed and blankets are quite low quality.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2023I like everything about the apartment. It is very neat and maintained. The owner is a very good man and very respectful. The location from the airport to the apartment is not far. I got all the detailed information on how to get to the apartment and also, how to collect the key from the owner. There was no stress in locating the apartment and the key. I will definitely visit here again. Flamingo and jumbo supermarket is very close. You will get subway food inside the mall. The bustop where you can enter bus to the airport is 2 to 4 minutes walk from the apartment incase you want to enter public transport which is bus 562 or 570. Best alternative is to download uber app, which will cost you 11 euros only for your trip and you can pay by card or cash. If you arrive Helsinki airport btw 11pm and 12am , don't worry, you can use uber or bus, the environment is safe and decent. I will keep recommending the place for friends and family.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2023Bed was comfy. Premises were clean. All necessary equipment was there. Close to the airport and easy to get for early flights as nearby bus operates 24h. Owner provided all necessary details via WhatsApp, well, except for actual apartment block location via maps app.
I should have read a description a bit better and realise this would be a room in airb&b style of apartments. Luckily I had food with me as well as shower necessities, otherwise it would have been very different experience.

Because it is like a shared apartment, you are up to listening to the other guests. In my case someone de used to take a shower in the middle of the night and it was suuuuper noisy. But besides that the experience was nice!!!

Reviewed Sep 29, 2023Location 16' to the airport, the bus 562 leaves you very close to the place. There's a few restaurants nearby and the street is usually quiet. We got lucky that we were alone in the apartment that time :D
As many reported, the walls are quite thin so if you might hear some noise if someone else is in the flat with you.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2023This place seemed to be ok to self made travelers. There was a mutual kitchen and a dishwasher. The place was clean and unlike in some places there was not overt struggle to find the key.
The staff kept communicating in English even after I requested Finnish. The place is in a bit of a distance from the airport. About getting there: I do not think you should pay 30 euros or so getting there. You can walk the distance, about 2 km and 45 minutes (Need map the first time). The llocal busses drive near the place but they do not accept cash. However you can byu one time tickets (4-5 euros) in the R-kiosks in the airport (If you do not have a HSL-bus card)

I didn’t have a lock on the outside of my door only to lock when I was inside the room so I was a little uncomfy leaving my stuff in the room with only a suitcase lock and other people in the two other rooms.
