Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Beautiful home and the photos do not do it justice. Very modern inside, really comfortable beds, sofas and excellent showers. The bedrooms are all a good size and three bathrooms/showers is great if you're travelling in a big group. Kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked breakfast each day and dinner one of the nights. The place was spotless. The area is quite remote which is what we wanted, very peaceful and beautiful views. But it's a short drive to Falcarragh town and only 10 mins to the beach and about 25 mins to Ards Friary/forest park. We met Charlie and Catherine before checking out and they're lovely people. Couldn't recommend this place enough and we hope to be back again!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2025In the midst of beautiful mountains, very close to beach. The apartment is very spacious with plenty of room of dining, sitting, and a big kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious as well. The hosts provided us with fresh milk and bread, and other basic cooking items. Each bathroom was equipped with brush, toothpaste, and other toiletries. Very close to both the Wild Atlantic Way and the Glenveagh National Park.

For larger groups an extra large saucepan or wok would be a huge bonus especially when trying to cook but otherwise everything was wonderful

For a party that weren't couples some rooms with single beds would give the property more versatility. Added picture of outside of house is important for finding it. Picture is of front of house with Donegal Flag in Garden.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2024The hosts were excellent, they gave us all the information we needed in plenty of time so as we didn't have to wait outside. The location is fantastic for Glenavy National Park, Falcarragh beaches and more. The house is one of the best I've stayed in anywhere, with all mod cons a welcome basket of all the basics including bread, milk, teabags and coffee, toiletries etc. The hosts also left out Info of all surrounding walks, amenities and restaurants etc. Could not fault a thing.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2024Excellent host. He met us personally even though it was already late. Conducted detailed instructions on the house and household appliances. As a sign of hospitality, he left us milk, bread, and butter. In the kitchen there was tea, coffee, olive oil, salt, sugar, and two types of syrup.
There is no washing machine in the house, but during the two days we spent in the house we didn’t need it.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2023A great house just outside Falcarragh. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable like home from home. Lovely kitchen and lounge area with 8 seater table and reclining sofas in sitting area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. Nice, modern and very clean. Kitchen plenty of cutlery and crockery too. Hosts had tea bread and milk for us on arrival. We felt very welcome. We would come back again.

The house is spacious and has all the mod cons including a TV and wiki package that the kids were delighted with. Charlie and Catherine were very welcoming. A perfect weekend for us and we hope to be back again in the future.

Charlie was friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house was clean and spacious, and the amenities were top-notch. Charlie was extremely friendly and personable, and he made me feel right at home. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and provided great recommendations for things to see and do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
