Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt und habe mich sofort sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ahmed, seine Familie und Lucky waren unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und immer für ein nettes Gespräch zu haben. Die Atmosphäre war sehr herzlich und familiär. Auch das Essen und der Chai waren richtig lecker. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich wie zu Hause und nicht wie in einer anonymen Unterkunft. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Struttura a conduzione familiare molto carina. Lo staff è ultra gentile, disponibile per qualsiasi cosa,sempre pronto ad aiutarti e a darti consigli preziosi sulle successive destinazioni. La camera era okay, silenziosa e spaziosa. Il giorno che sono arrivata Lucky mi ha portato a fare un giro al mercato e poi abbiamo mangiato dell’ottimo cibo con ingredienti freschi comprati il giorno stesso tutti insieme in casa. Assolutamente consigliato se ci si vuole sentire come a casa propria

I never checked in . As I was travelling with my pet and before reaching I enquired about the parking arrangements and Location. Initially they mentioned it’s 100 Mtrs from the stay . However on reaching my nightmare started . Reaching the property with a car is winning a war in itself . The lanes are too narrow and as it moves inside the community area , parked motorcycles and cycle occupy whatever little space the lanes has . My car got stuck right and the staffs were definitely not helpful , except directing me over the call for directions. They never mentioned the issues of car moving inside a lanes . Somehow I was able to reach the parking and realised the distance from the two is way more than 100 Mtrs . Carrying my pet , my luggage and leaving my car parked over night seemed like a nightmare. So , I decided too take the risk of moving out from there. I was so frustrated and seeing the condition of my pet I did not even bother to cancel my booking but simply leave .

Location, neighbourhood and staff .

Recomendable, te adentras en una familia india muy acogedora y simpática. Nos acompañaron al Mercado para poder comprar a precios locales, nos enseñaron cada especia y paseamos el pueblo. Muy recomendable la comida, eliges lo que quieres con un poco de tiempo porque compran fresco exactamente lo que van a cocinar para ti. Una experiencia muy positiva.

Es como estar en tu casa. Ahmed y su compañero Lucky están muy pendientes de ti, te aconsejan y ayudan en todo momento. Ha sido una suerte encontrarlo. El desayuno es una delicia. La habitación era amplia y el colchón exquisito. Es un oasis en la old city de Bikaner. Pese a que cogíamos un tren por la noche y nuestro check out era por la mañana, nos han dejado que hagamos uso de la habitación todo el día hasta irnos, un gran detalle.

It was very friendly, the bee was comfortable and the Aircon powerful. My niece and I felt very welcome.

We did find some of the instructions of what we must do and where we must go and how our guides were going to be bad to be a bit relentless. Also, the small room is not to be booked. It has no aircon and the bathroom is outside. We were able to upgrade and it was the right choice but I did feel the prices went up a bit when doing so.

The little prince guesthouse is an absolute gem for travelers wanting a chill and friendly stay in bikaner ! The owner and his employees are fantastic and extremely kind. Mr Lucky was an excellent driver and guide with fantastic stories and a lot of knowledge on the area. You can eat food there and it is absolutely delicious, made fresh everyday. I cannot recommend this hotel enough ! It made our stay in bikaner even more special. Cet hotel est absolument fantastique, les chambres sont très propres et confortables et le propriétaire comme les autres personnes y travaillant ont été absolument adorables et extrêmement gentils. Monsieur Lucky a été un excellent guide et conducteur avec beaucoup d'anecdotes sur la région. La nourriture est préparée sur commande chaque jour et est absolument délicieuse. Je recommande chaudement cette maison d'hôtes pour ceux cherchant une expérience agréable, tranquille et souhaitant discuter avec les locaux.

Ahmed, sa famille et lucky nous ont bien accueilli chaleureusement dans leur guest house. Ils étaient aux petits soins avec nous pour nous dire que faire et où aller ainsi que comment se comporter dans le vieux centre. On s'est sentie comme chez nous et c'est le but des guest house. Encore merci

Euh non c'était comme on s'y attendait. Juste qu'il y a beaucoup trop d'interrupteurs. On s'y perd. Et le lieu peut être un peu difficile à retrouver une fois la nuit tombée. Le tuktuk a mis du temps à trouver le bon chemin praticable. Utilisez vos gps et google maps ;)

Ahmed und Lucky haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen "feel like home!" and we did! Beide waren äusserst gastfreundlich, haben jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Lucky hat uns Architekturinteressierte auf seinem nagelneuen Motorrad zu den schönsten Orten gefahren und noch mehr empfohlen. Das Essen, das Luckys Frau spontan, frisch für uns kochte war sehr lecker. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt beim Rampuria Haveli, nah zu den Altstadtgassen und den wunderschönen Jain Tempeln und nicht weit vom Fort. Herzlichen Dank für alles!! Immer wieder!

The hosts were fantastic. They were very loving and caring. They picked me up from the train station and organised a tour for me the following day all around Bikaner for very good price. The home cooked food was delicious. Honestly the staff treated me like family and made me feel very safe and welcomed

Ahmed was a wonderful host. Kind and thoughtful and really looked after us. I wasn’t well when we arrived and he made sure I had everything I needed. The food was delicious, all home cooked and Ahmed took us round to see the havelis and to buy spices. Ahmed has a lovely family and it is a place of warmth and generosity. We will remember it always.

There was nothing we didn’t like about Little Prince Homestay

I had a wonderful stay with Ahmed and his family. They were very welcoming and made me feel at home from the first moment. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The location is excellent and close to everything you might need. You can even order food directly at the accommodation without needing to go out, which was very convenient. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again

The main big room was quite spacious and decorative. The staff were quite friendly and were always keen to have a chat. The food was especially good and they were very good at catering to a gluten free diet - including one night where they even made us a Bajra Roti. They also organised a tuk tuk driver (Lucky) who lives on the property which was helpful for a train station pickup and tours around the city.

We couldn't get the hot water from the shower to work so we just ended up having cold showers - the owner said we just had to turn a switch on and wait five minutes, but that didn't seem to work for us. An amazing home stay with a lovely family. Ahmed is a lovely gentleman who is extremely kind and giving with only the guests health and wellbeing in mind. The property is a lovely home courtyard with homely rooms and a great seating area to chat throughout the day.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Little Prince homestay. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt und die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Ausstattung entspricht genau den Bildern. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber Ahmed und Lucky. Beide sorgen dafür, dass man sich direkt willkommen und Zuhause fühlt. Ein echtes Highlight ist auch das Essen von Ahmeds Frau. Es ist super lecker und wird immer frisch gekocht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit Familienanschluss. Ein großes Zimmer im indischen Stil und guten sanitären Einrichtungen. Alle gewünschten Informationen gibt es vom Gastgeber. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut Ich kann einen Aufenthalt empfehlen.

C'est un petit paradis dans la ville de Bikaner. Ahmed et sa famille sont incroyables ! Les chambres sont bien, la nourriture est excellente, et ils ont un guide disponible pour toutes les activités intéressantes dans la ville. Ils sont venus me chercher à la gare de bus tôt le matin et c'est un plus. Merci à eux je reviendrai avec plaisir et je recommande à tout le monde 🙂

Ho soggiornato in questa homestay per una notte e nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva. La struttura è semplice, ma accogliente e adatta a chi cerca un ambiente familiare. Il punto di forza è il personale: cordiale, sorridente e sempre disponibile ad aiutare per qualsiasi esigenza. Ci siamo sentiti ben accolti fin dal primo momento. Anche la cena e la colazione sono state buone, con piatti gustosi, preparati dalla moglie del titolare. Un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

La stanza era un po’ rumorosa: si sentivano chiaramente le persone parlare fuori, soprattutto la sera. Il materasso un po’ troppo rigido per i miei gusti.

25. FEB.2026 Im kleinen Prinz bei Ahmed und Lack hatten wir eine perfekte Zeit. Schon wenn man von der Straße in den kleinen Innenhof tritt ist klar dass man eine perfekte Oase gefunden hat und die Zimmer haben auch unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Auch das Essen ist gut. Aber das beste ist die Filfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit wie in der eigenen Familie. Mein Ladegerät von Cochlear Implantat ging in der Nacht kaputt womit ich taub war. Noch in der Nacht sind sie los und haben tatsächlich Ersatz aufgetrieben, weil Handy Ladegeräte nicht funktionieren. 10 Sterne von uns 3. Robert, Rosi, u. Brigitte.

Host is really kind

I had a really good relaxing time at Little Prince - it is run by a local family, very friendly and helpful; it is in a quiet spot in the old city, plenty of little markets around the area and walking distance to main attractions. I ate at the guesthouse most times and the food was excellent - fresh and light (even the Indian classics). Decor was mostly brand new and the inner court had a nice area to relax. Bikaner itself was a great place to spend a few days in between trips - it is quiet but has plenty to offer

אחמד ולאקי המקסימים עזרו לנו בכל מה שהיינו צריכים, הגענו בערב ואכלנו אצלם, האוכל טעים מאוד, החדר היה מאוד נקי ועם מזגן מצויין, בחוץ פינת ישיבה כיפית, יום למחרת לאקי לקח אותנו בטוקטוק לסיור בכל המקומות שרצינו ושגם הם המליצו. אחמד גם עזר לנו לברר שהאוטובוס שלנו בוטל ולאקי עזר לנו להגיע לרכבת ואפילו נלחם בשבילנו על מושב. בקיצור, מומלץ מאוד!

Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e attento ai nostri bisogni. Sapendo che uno di noi non stava bene, ci ha cambiato la camera dandocene una con bagno privato senza alcun sovrapprezzo. La camera era spaziosa e pulita. Si mangia nel tranquillo cortile interno, lontano dai rumori della strada, dove c’è anche l’occasione di chiacchierare con lo staff e con il proprietario, che parlano molto bene l’inglese. Our stay was simply exceptionnal. The family is very nice, and helpful, always available and close to their guests. The common sitting area makes it easy to spend some time and relax with them and the other travellers. The rooms are pretty cosy, decorated with an amazing collection of original photographs. Ahmed the owner will be thrilled to show you some of his favourite pictures, as well as some beautiful books from his collection ! But best of all, he provided incredible help to get some monney back from a tourist travel scam in Dehli. A very big thank you to him and his family.

The staff was very, very hospitable, welcomed us into their guesthouse as if it were our home. Clean and comfortable room with good AC. Ahmed and Lucky arranged a day of sightseeing got us and help us book our onwards transport. We would love to come again. Would highly recommend!

I had a blissful stay in 'Little Prince' with Ahmed, his wife, little son, mother and Lucky. They made you feel right at home and made sure everything went according to plan. Lucky provided a nice day plan and guided me with visits to the main sights. Got an excellent dinner and breakfast there. Even though my stay in Bikaner was short (1 night), I felt like a 'little prince'. Definitely a place to feel at ease. Highly recommended! Shanti shanti!

I had a great stay at Little prince! The hospitality was excellent as soon as I arrived. They offer a tuk tuk pick up service from the train station which is nice. The place was very well located and easily accessible. The family was super friendly and helpful during my stay. My room was quite large and super clean. It was on the ground floor like all of the rooms. The food was tasty and homemade. I highly recommend this place!

Didn't realised we would be here during Ramadan, but this means life starts very early way before sunrise (people waking up and cooking, mosque's speakers, people going around in the streets waking the dogs who barks at them), better sleep with ear plugs

I had the best time staying at the Little Prince guesthouse. It has a very relaxed, homely vibe with a nice social area where it’s easy to meet other guests. I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveler. They also helped me arrange a trip to the rat temple and other attractions outside the city. The location of the guesthouse is amazing, right in the middle of the old city, but I also slept well at night. The food is really yummy - so you could actually chill here all day without leaving if you want to! Will definitely stay again if I ever come back to Bikaner.

Great guesthouse to stay in whilst in Bikaner. Great communal area to have Chai and dinner. The rooms are great. Ahmed and lucky are very good hosts and helped us with everything we needed whilst in Bikaner and were great to ask questions about other places we look to visit. Ahmed and lucky are very knowledgeable and it was great to meet them.

The homestay is in a prime location within the city, the rooms are homey and Ahmed is always up for a great chat. The food is great, and Ahmed allowed me to park my bike securely in the courtyard. I highly recommend this homestay, it has a really welcoming vibe especially as a solo traveller, with a great courtyard for meeting new people. If I'm ever in Bikaner again, I'll definitely be back.

Amazing staff

Small family compound with very helpful and hospitable owner and family. Nothing was too much trouble. I did all my washing and was given help getting hold of items from the shops. Staff had a tuctuc and basically ran me around town and the sites for a modest charge. I didn’t eat outside the compound, all my meals were cooked with fresh ingredients to order and were of a high quality. A great stay and I thoroughly recommend at the price point.

Really nice place to stay in Bikaner - for me the highlight is the lovely courtyard to hang out with Ahmed and lucky and other guests, and the amazing food. The room was simple but perfectly fine for a couple of nights, everything seemed clean. The guys are really helpful with things to do around and arranging transportation. Also liked the fluffy friendly cats :)

Location is tricky to locate on maps and I found the gangs of barking dogs at night intimidating, but nice to be in a very local unpretentious area

The food is on the expensive side. Sometimes I felt they were pushing us a bit to use their own rickshaw driver, I haven’t been able to check if their rickshaw prices are market conform.

Situated in a fascinating neighborhood where you will get to experience the daily life of the locals, up close and personal, while you explore the labyrinthine streets. The havelis are a few minutes walk away as well as interesting markets. You can get to mingle with the family, watch how your delicious meal is cooked from fresh and try your hand at making your own naan. The family and staff are very welcoming and the property is clean and the beds very comfy. Be sure to book a very reasonably priced tour with Lucky, one of the staff members. You will find good, honest people here that won't try to sell you things you don't want, and you will leave with great memories.

I just cannot undestand the good reviews.

Many things about my experience here made it a non pleasant stay: -I stayed at the "deluxe" double room in January 2024, the only one with it's own bathroom, and the room was not clean at all. Water from the sink was non existant, so I had to brush my teeth in the shower. Hot shower is not working as such, is just a hoze and a bucket you have to use. Ok this is common in India, but it was cold in Bikaner and at least you should let the guests know this situation, not trick them saying the room has hot shower. IT DOESNT. -The walls had big holes so no cold insulation at night and you can hear everything that is going on in the garden. - Breakfast was simply tasteless and overpriced. The morning I was having breakfast next to the owner, found hairs in the food. He saw that on my plate and say: "it's from the cat you know, they are everywhere" (clearly they were human hairs). -I did not find the owner a pleasant person to be around. He doesnt exactly push you to book tours with him, but tries to talk to you and sell you overpriced things. He wanted to charge 6000 rp (like 60/70 euros) for a night on a desert safari, when I found out by myself other places where charging. 3500 rp. - I do not recommend the neighbourhood. The place is located in a rather difficult to find and dark street. For what I payed for this room, there's much cheaper and better In Bikaner

Very nice and helpful owner. He came to take me at the station because it was 1am. The area is calm, and the place is nice.

Wow!!! This word can’t even come close the the great experience we had staying at Little Prince. What great hospitality from Ahmed and Lucky!! Can’t say enough about the stay. We are so happy to have found this gem. My family thanks you for for such a great experience!! Can’t wait to come back.

There was nothing bad to say.

The host and staff were really welcoming and we felt quite comfortable. We had a great night sleep and even extended for another night. Good location, very well priced. We can really recommend the food and chai that they offer. Ask staff for recommendations for activities, they’re very helpful.

Best place in Bikaner

Couldn't ask for a better host who went above and beyond to help his guests. He waited up until 4 am for me to arrive (my bus was delayed). Very cozy accommodation in a quiet side street. Beds were comfortable and shower was lovely and hot.

Here you can find the real Indian welcome of a big family! Ahmed and Lucky are ready to help you with anything you need and Rihanna and Parvin's cooking is great! The rooms are cozy and very nice and the place is really clean! Highly recommended!

Sometimes in traveling, one comes across a quiet gem that catches you for surprise and makes for a lasting life memory. Ahmed (the owner), Lucky, and their families have succeeded in creating such a place - epitomizing hospitality. Situated in a quiet corner of the old town, this haveli is serene, clean, and welcoming - with rooms that are perfectly sized, comfortable, and well furnished. The beds are remarkably comfortably, and I slept better in them than in my own bed at home. Ahmed's side work in antiquities additionally makes for remarkable decorations and books that can easily steal your attention on a slow night or morning. Ahmed and Lucky's wives run the kitchen and create delicious, fresh dishes which ensured that I had little desire to eat anywhere else! It was so fresh, we'd often put in our dinner orders in mid-afternoon so the ingredients could be picked up from the market the same day. Service was on par with some of the best hotels - with seamless communication to arrange transportation, track travel details, and ensure all was the best it could be. Throughout my stay, Ahmed and Lucky were constantly finding ways to improve my experience and regularly checked that I had everything I needed (even checking on me after I had departed for further locations in my trip). The crowning jewel of the experience was the conversations. Ahmed has created an environment that attracts an excellent variety of travelers and dedicates his evenings to bringing them together and building spontaneous community. Ahmed and Lucky are engaging and candid on their own as well - providing a unique opportunity to learn about the lives and views of Bikaners. Lastly, I must give a special shout out to Lucky's side work as TukTuk driver and guide during the day. He is excellent at both, and provides the rare add-on service of a candid crash course in Indian street knowledge and market practices (if you ask).

Little prince house is in the perfect position in Bikar, really close to the station and all the services but not too mutch so is quiet in the night. The place is really clean and comfortable, there is all you need here. Even the food is really good. Most important thing: here you can share your time with a beautiful family, they really make you feel at home. They are going to give you good advice about how to move in Rajastan and all you need.
