Comfortable room, strong AC, good Wi-Fi, and amazing hospitality. A truly authentic experience in Bikaner. Highly recommended!

Difficult to reach the place by car, so better to take tuk-tuk.

La camera e' perfetta,spaziosa,col letto confortevole,un bagno che funziona,acqua calda,aria condizionata,un piccolo balconcino..poi ci sono diversi spazi extra,sia all'aperto che all'interno,dove bersi un chai,leggere e rilassarsi sentendosi un antico abitante di queste splendide haveli..un piccolo luogo dove sognare. Entrambi i titolari sono persone interessanti!!

La difficolta' a ritrovare l'haveli,perche' i rickshawvallah non sanno l'inglese,Bikaner non e' turistica ,e meno male!dunque la comunicazione si riduce a gesti,foto,scambi.Divertente in fondo,ma consiglio di stampare un cartoncino con nome,indirizzo,telefono e una mini mappa per orientarsi old style.

Il mio soggiorno presso The Prince Haveli è stato straordinario! Fin dal mio arrivo sono stata accolta con grande cordialità e professionalità dal personale, sempre disponibile e pronto a rendere ogni momento speciale con consigli preziosi e interessanti. La posizione è eccellente: vicina ai principali punti di interesse, ma immersa in una zona tranquilla, perfetta per rilassarsi. La struttura è semplicemente incantevole: una vera haveli tradizionale, con il fascino autentico delle antiche case del Rajasthan. Gli spazi, l’architettura e i dettagli conservano un’atmosfera d’altri tempi, permettendo di vivere un’esperienza molto più autentica rispetto a un normale soggiorno in hotel. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort necessari, senza però perdere il carattere e l’identità della struttura. Un luogo davvero speciale, che consiglio a chi vuole immergersi nell’atmosfera di Bikaner e vivere un’esperienza autentica, accogliente e ricca di fascino.

La struttura è bellissima e suggestiva, una antica Haveli dipinta e decorata e riadattata a hotel, gestita in modo magnifico, con gentilezza, ospitalità e discrezione rare. Qualsiasi vostro bisogno sarà soddisfatto nel modo più pronto e disponibile possibile, dal prenotare treni all’organizzare visite, a consigli su come proseguire e organizzare il viaggio, in totale libertà e discrezione. Anche il cibo casalingo e genuino servito in struttura è buonissimo e sano!

The owners of the historical haveli were highly responsive and supportive - whenever a question/request/concern was raised, they addressed it promptly and effectively. They ensured the stay to be as smooth as possible. In addition, both the owners and the staff were warm and welcoming.

Le rapport qualité prix est bon. Le prince Haveli se situe dans une maison de 200 ans d'âge, donc ça n'a rien à voir avec un hôtel moderne, par contre, c'est une expérience exceptionnelle. On a choisi un petit déjeuner à 300 roupies par personne, qui correspondrait plus ou moins un buffet, car on pouvait demander à volonté ce qui nous faisait plaisir, café, thé, toast, beurre confiture fruits de saison... Le gérant est vraiment très sympa et très serviable.

Il y a quelques contrepartie, les escaliers sont très verticaux donc pas forcément accessible pour des gens qui se déplacent difficilement. La clim est de type window donc un peu plus bruyante qu'un split. Comme l'hôtel est situé dans la vieille ville, il n'est accessible qu'en tuk tuk.

C'est un établissement magnifique où j'ai été très bien accueilli. Il est situé dans un très bon secteur. Les propriétaires font tout pour que votre séjour se déroule au mieux. En conclusion chez the prince haveli vous serez comme chez vous et reçu comme des princes!

It’s not every day you get to stay in a 250 year old Haveli so this was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and lovely looking and I always appreciate a good internet connection. The little patio outside our room was a great spot to chill in the afternoon away from the mad streets of Bikaner!

Be prepared that there are a lot of steep steps in a Haveli such as this one!

Ancienne haveli authentique et bien située au centre de la vieille ville. Chambre à l'étage supérieur, avec une terrasse et salle de bain privative. J'ai été très bien accueillie et fait de belles rencontres autour d'un chaï dans le salon commun. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir lors d'un prochain voyage.

Je n'ai pas réussi à faire fonctionner l'eau chaude mais comme il faisait chaud, ce n'était pas trop gênant.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable pour une nuit dans ce très vieil haveli, bien situé au sein de la vieille ville. Il vous faudra prendre un tuk tuk pour rejoindre les restaurants (se trouvant principalement vers le fort). Nous avions une grande chambre triple. Pas d'eau chaude pour la douche mais au vu du prix cela ne nous a pas posé de problème. N'emmenez pas de grosse valise car vous ne pourrez pas la monter en raison de l'étroitesse de l'escalier.

Questa haveli è un piccolo gioiello nel cuore di Bikaner. Ogni dettaglio della struttura racconta una storia e permette di godersi momenti di relax e riflessione. Bilal e lo staff sono molto disponibili e fanno sentire gli ospiti a casa. Molto apprezzata la gentilezza di Mohammed e la vasta conoscenza di Bilal della cultura indiana. Super consigliato!

Had a comfortable and pleasant stay at THE PRINCE HAVELI HOTEL. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic amenities. The staff was polite, helpful, and quick to respond to requests. The location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions. Overall, a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Old Heritage Vibes Bikaner is basically known for its cultural roots and this heritage property is basically based on cultural theme which provied you nostalgia feeling like back into 1900’s era

Vieil Haveli de 250 ans, le seul où vous pouvez dormir dans les centaines d'Havelis de Bikaner. Tout est d'origine sauf la Salle de bains. Très bon accueil, très bonne cuisine, très bonne literie (grande chambre pour 3 au 1er étage). Attention, ce sont des chambres au décor très ancien : rien à voir avec des chambre standards aux normes occidentales. Nuits très calmes, très reposantes. Dernier point : nous sommes arrivés du train très tôt (6:00 du matin) et nous avons pourtant été accueillis : merci pour l'hospitalité.

Les escaliers sont très petits et très raides : très compliqué vous avez mal aux genoux et une grosse valise. Mais c'est dû au type de la maison. Ce n'est pas vraiment un défaut, mais a prendre en compte.

Das Pronce Haveli ist ein absolutes Unikat und MUSS in Bikaner. Es verbindet die Geschichte von 250 Jahren mit viel Liebe zum Detail! Mich faszinieren die typischen Zimmer mit Balkonen oder Fenstern und ihre Einrichtung. Der Inhaber und das Personal lassen einem absolut zu Hause fühlen und die traditionale Küche ist sehr, sehr gut.. Das Haveli ist sehr zentral gelegen und der Inhaber auch ein Reiseführer mit bestem Wissen. Wenn ich wiederkomme, weiss ich, dass ich wieder dort sein werde! Lieben Dank für alles!

Ich weiss gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Wir sind über sehr viele positive Rezensionen auf dieses Hotel gestoßen und es hat sich als wahre Enttäuschung herausgestellt. Ich kann mir nicht erklären wie diese positiven Bewertungen zustande gekommen sind. Angefangen hatte es damit, dass wir gar nicht mit Auto bis zum Hotel gekommen sind und wir gezwungen waren uns von einem Tuctuc Fahrer abholen zu lassen welcher am Ende auch noch sehr viel Geld dafür verlangt hatte, was wir nicht gezahlt haben. Weiter ging es als wir im Hotel ankamen, kam mir das so vor als seien wir nicht willkommen gewesen. Der Mann Bilal ist sehr unfreundlich und hochnäsig. Die Zimmer waren teilweise mit löchern in der Decke und am Boden versehen. Das Bad ist wirklich sehr klein geduscht haben wir nicht. Wir hatten weder Handtücher noch Toilettenpapier oder gar seife in unserem Zimmer erst nach mehrmaligen nachfragen haben wir schließlich die gewünschten Gegenstände erhalten.Kommen wir zur Lage: die Lage dieses Hotels kann ungünstiger nicht sein. Es gibt ein Restaurant in der Nähe, welches ausschließlich eine Karte auf hindisch anbietet und nicht frisch kocht. Es ist ein kleiner Markt ansonsten nichts nur dreckige Gassen und undfreundliche Leute. Der Hotelbesitzer selbst bietet Thali an, welches ebenfalls nicht frisch gekocht wird. Es ist in meinen Augen kein wirkliches Hote eher ein altes Gebäude welches Restaurierungsbedürftig ist. Ich würde wirklich niemandem empfehlen dort zu verweilen. Finger weg und nicht auf die guten Bewertungen verlassen. Nach dieser Nacht wollte ich Bikaner nur noch verlassen und werde nie wieder hierher zurückkehren, schade eigentlich. Wir sind in eine Falle geraten, da sich dieses "Hotel" auch nicht kostenlos stornieren lassen hat.

Des petites réparations à prévoir et ce sera parfait ! Ce n'est pas que je n'ai pas aimé mais il faut préciser que les marches sont hautes et raides dans le Haveli !

The location/ the building is probably the best in the whole of Bikaner. Its a type of building you wish you would stay at least once whilst in this area of India. The people that work there are nice and helpfull, would definitly stay here again.

De kamer die we kregen vonden we echt niet acceptabel, heel klein en geen sfeer. Tegen bijbetaling een betere kamer gekregen met eigen terras en uitzicht over de stad. Geen ontbijt beschikbaar.

Très belle haveli, authentique. L'emplacement est idéal et Mohammed est raiment aux petits soins pour ses clients.

Tolle Unterkunft in einem über 200 Jahre alten Haveli. Ich habe schon in vielen Hotels übernachtet, aber in so einem alten Haveli zu übernachten ist unglaublich. Der Gastgeber Mohammed ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch. Er hat uns sogar beim Weitertransfer geholfen und alles hat super geklappt. Wer einmal in einem echten Haveli übernachten möchte, sollte dies hier buchen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und wir haben toll geschlafen.

My room was super spacious and had incredible windows overlooking the internal courtyard and the rooftop. The host Mohammed was also very lovely and did his best to ensure I had a very comfortable stay.

Not much tbh, it’s good value for money and their hospitality makes it worth it.

Ce n’ai pas une Haveli, mets une vieille Maison qui a plus de 200 ans, d’après le propriétaire, vu qu’il y a vraiment besoin d’être rénové car elle est vraiment dans son jus il ne faut pas chercher le confort, la propreté est quand même très limite, je doute que les draps soient changés entre deux clients pour le petit déjeuner, il faut se contenter de quatre toasts, beurre et confiture. Pas de repas possible. Concernant la disponibilité de Mohamed, il passe plus de temps à dormir, cas renseigner ses clients il m’a juste rendu service à m’amener retirer de l’argent, car soi-disant que sa machine à carte ne fonctionnait pas et merci à lui de nous avoir prêté une chambre qui s’était libérée à 6h du matin quand on est arrivé mais pour le reste il est très peu présent et il a préféré retourner se coucher que nous dire au revoir .

There was no hot water.dirty blanket with hairs on it. No wifi. No front desk. I payed high price for all the inconvenience. I went there because of great reviews about place and my last experience in hotel in India turned out to be worst.

Anche se la struttura è molto bella, dovrebbe essere decisamente restaurata, è decadente, non molto pulita, non siamo riusciti a fare ne la doccia calda ne la colazione. La posizione è nella città vecchia, un posto abbastanza trafficato.

Vous serez dans un authentique haveli, juste assez aménagé pour le confort des voyageurs, c'est très authentique. C'est un plaisir de se perdre dans ces couloirs étroits.

Située au cœur de la vieille ville, l'endroit reste très bruyant. Il serait nécessaire de nettoyer le ventilateur qui croule sous une épaisse couche de poussière.

It was great to experience staying a beautiful haveli. My room was comfortable and a nice size. Atik and Mohammed were very friendly and welcoming, they helped me with anything and everything I needed.

I liked everything but if you need a strong wifi connection in your room I would recommend not staying on a higher floor.

I liked to stay in this beautiful haveli, so much jistory and atmosfere. Mohammed was so nice and helpfull with everything, giving an axyra blanlet because it was so cold that tome, booking bus and train tickets. Simple but.nice food

L’hotel è un haveli storico nel pieno centro della città vecchia. È molto accogliente il cortile all’ingresso, cosí come i vari terrazzini ai piani superiori. Le stanze sono confortevoli e con una bella vista sulla città vecchia. In generale la struttura conserva il fascino della sua storicità. Ma il valore aggiunto è Bilal, che con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità sa farti sentire a casa. Consigliamo caldamente anche la cena, deliziosa e molto genuina.

First, the main person, Mr Atik, was rude while communicating the basic details of the property. The property is an old haveli, with no cleanliness or maintenance. The things in the property were either broken or covered with dirt. It is difficult to approach the property; the roads are narrow and filled with filth. The property arranges for a pick up as you can't reach there by car, but they charge the customer for it. The sheets and towels( just one in a room) provided were stinky and stained. We had a booking for 2 nights, but we somehow slept the night we reached and then managed to move to another hotel; however, we paid for 2 nights.

Très belle demeure à l’architecture ancienne. Mohammed est quelqu’un de fantastique ! Toujours prêt à vous aider pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. J’ai passé un très bon moment.

Mohammed is a 20 out of 10 We felt like home literally, we had dinner with him in a nice restaurant and we keep contact with during our Rajastán tour. The haveli is super authentic and located in the heart of Old Bikaner, it is the perfect location for anyone who wants to dive into authenticity ! See you next time Batcha !

Prince Haveli is located in a beautiful traditional Haveli in Bikaner, one of the few open to the tourists, which makes it an authentic experience. Apart from the facility, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they change your stay to make it unforgettable! Mohammed was lovely and made sure that all my needs were answered, making chai at any time of the day or even taking me all the way to my seat in the train! Atik went above and beyond, helping me plan the rest of my trip in Rajasthan, taking me around the city and just welcoming me to Bikaner and India in a fantastic way! I cannot recommend this place enough! A huge thank you.

La stanza che mi è stata assegnata non era quella mostrata nelle foto alla prenotazione. La biancheria del letto non era pulita. Le scale sono molto ripide e strette non è semplice trasportare le valigie.

Ho prenotato tre camere con bagno privato. Uno però era all'esterno. La struttura è raggiungibile solo con tuk tuk. Ci sono scale ripide e strette per accedere alle varie camere che sono su tre livelli. Abbiamo cenato con il thali, non vario ma buono.

Non c'era acqua calda, non abbiamo potuto fare la doccia. Due camere avevano le lenzuola pulite, quella con bagno esterno invece aveva il piumone sporco.

We spent three nights at this lovely haveli and had a great stay . Very beautiful and original details in this super haveli that made you feel as if you were back in the 70’s. Mohammed who runs the haveli was super sweet and very welcoming and went out of his way to make our stay a pleasurable one .

We spent two nights at Prince Haveli on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2025 and had a wonderful stay . The Haveli is really lovely with all original artwork on walls and beautiful Indian decor. The staff is exceptional, especially Mohammed the manager and very welcoming and will do their best to acccomodate guests. Rooms are clean and well kept . We will definitely be back when in Bilkaner.

Hotel in posizione ottimale! Il Proprietario parla Italiano e questo è un plus di non poco conto. Al rientro dalla nostra cena siamo rimasti a chiacchierare un po’. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli sull’India. Inoltre ci ha detto che lui organizza tour, quindi nel caso qualcuno volesse andare in India lui è un buon riferimento.

Sebbene il piano in cui era la stanza fosse solamente nostro e all’ultimo, averei gradito che alla porta ci fosse il lucchetto anche esterno. Solo internamente è possibile chiudersi dentro la notte. Durante il giorno la porta si chiude, ma senza lucchetto.

We are actually staying in a 250 year old Haveli..(the building is older than many of the palaces in Rajastan)..and very close to Rampuria Haveli Even though the building is old it was well maintained by the staff with neat and clean rooms Its manager Mr Mohamed was very kind..he even prepared us tasty food..(there are no good food joints in that area) and he arranged tuk tuk for pickup and drop from the railway station at a very cheap price

Lovely stay in an authentic haveli. Beautifully decorated. Comfy bed, hot water always available and great location. The owners are lovely and super helpful. I ate dinner there one night which was also fantastic. For the price you can’t beat it.

It’s a bit noisy at night due to being in the old town but there is little they can do about outside noise without affecting the authenticity of the haveli decoration.

Property is centrally located in the old city of Bikaner. Walking distance to all the markets and Rampuria Haveli. Good experience to enjoy the 250 year old heritage. As the stairs for access to the floors inside Haveli are narrow and steep, people may find it difficult for stay. Manisha

Being in the old city with narrow lanes, 4 wheeler cannot enter. Would have appreciated proactive information on the approach to the property to avoid last moment crisis. Alternative parking facility is needed. Atleast drinking water should be complimentary. Manisha

Super accueil que je recommande notamment de Mohammed. Des personnes toujours disponibles et aimables, on est un peu comme chez soi. Le charme d’un ancien haveli conservé dans un quartier vivant avec de nombreux commerces de proximité.

Traditional lodgings, with a very helpful host. Food was tasty although limited in scope. The host sourced beer for us, with little mark-up.

Location was near other havelis, but not much tourist infrastructure was close. The fort was a tuk-tuk drive away. The rooms were at the top of some steep stairs, so it was difficult to get our cases up by ourselves.
