Excellent facilities, clean and cosy with a beautiful garden, outdoor area and view oc the ocean. Deb also had the heating on knowing I was arriving late.

The accommodation included a whole home away from home with everything we needed to prepare light meals, including a dishwasher 😯 Everything was clean and tidy with a view from our bedroom of the ocean. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. Despite the hosts living upstairs we barely noticed them. The garden was beautifully kept and parking the car was easy.

The only additional facility that could be provided would be laundry facilities though there is an automatic laundromat a few blocks down the road with large, heavy duty washers and dryers.

Really nice and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Location was great. Kitchen was well equipped and the views were stunning. Great to have an off street car park.

Beautiful property, real home away from home. Fabulous presentation both inside and out, and wonderful owners who truely go out of their way to make sure you have all you need.

Debbie and Scott were exceptional hosts—friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with anything I needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. Having travelled extensively and stayed in many excellent hotels, I can honestly say this apartment ranks among the very best. It had everything you could possibly need, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The ocean views were stunning, the private gardens were beautifully maintained, and the neighbourhood was peaceful, safe, and quiet. It was also just a pleasant 5–10 minute walk to the coastal walkway and beach. I was genuinely impressed with every aspect of the property and would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Apartment had everything we needed, a well equiped kitchen, nice coach and clean showers. Hosts were very very friendly and went out of their way to adapt to our schedule! Loved it.

Our stay was 10/10. Location was perfect for us as we had family living down the road. Beautiful garden and view of the ocean. Lovely and warm.

Amazing space, with everything you need.

Were very amazed by the overall feel of it. By far the biggest place ever stayed (for 1 night). It was as if we had a house for ourselves - a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a bedroom. Of course with the l view that welcome us in the morning (it was dark and we couldn’t see anything as we arrived at around 7pm). Warmers were in the unit so it comes as a real comfort for both of us. Instructions were quite clear. Strongly recommend to stay here if you’re at New Plymouth.

The only 2 things probably was just the kettle, even after 2 washes there were still floating particles. Hangers were a little dated as the hook cannot hold the weight of a jacket + pants. But that aside, the overall comfort and view is worth it all. Recommend to have motion sensor lights from the front to the back where the unit is located as it was dark without lighting.

Everything about the apartment is perfect. Deb has thought of everything a guest would need and more. It is fully self contained and there are extra goodies in the pantry. Importantly it is spacious. The garden is well manicured and planted with an array of colourful flowering plants as well as foliage plants. I could go on but rest assured that you will not be disappointed. This is the best accommodation we have had during our 3 week stay in NZ.

This was a charming place to stay. Every comfort was provided, it was warm and homely, and had a view of the sea.

My only comment would be that traditional cotton towels would be preferable to the synthetic (?) ones provided.

Un appartement parfait en tous points de vue : le jardin fleuri, la large terrasse abritée, l'intérieur joliment décoré et en parfait état, la vue sur l'océan à 1 km à vol d'oiseau depuis la fenêtre de la chambre, l'espace intérieur très confortable et les grandes baies vitrées donnant sur le jardin et l'océan au loin, le très grand écran TV, la cuisine américaine bien équipée, le calme du quartier de cette banlieue résidentielle à 20 km de New Plymouth. Et aussi, l'attention portée par la propriétaire au bien-être et au confort de ses hôtes. Quelle que soit la météo, on se sent comme chez soi dans cet appartement et même une journée de pluie sans discontinuer ne gâche pas le séjour. Pour nous, 5 nuits sur place, c'était top.

An amazing property. It far excelled a ten in the rate category, having a fully equipped kitchen with every utensil you could think of. The garden surrounding the property was glorious with a vast number of beautiful flowers, and comfortable outside, cushioned chairs to relax on. New Plymouth is also a great centre and our nearly 5 hours in Pukekura Park with Free entry and disabled parking well inside the park provided a valuable addition to our short 3-day stay.

Un alojamiento muy bien cuidado, las vistas son impresionantes desde la habitación o el salón. Agradables espacios para disfrutar de un momento de relax, con un bonito jardín. No le falta ningún detalle, hay de todo para una estancia agradable, con leche y cereales y fruta…Incluso lavavajillas! Deb en todo momento estaba disponible para resolver cualquier duda en informarnos de actividades a realizar por la zona. El parking esta en la puerta del alojamiento por lo que facilita el transporte de maletas.

Absolute perfection! The hosts have thought of everything, from cold water in the fridge to shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I could not fault a single thing on this stay. The bed was very comfy after a long day sight seeing, there was plenty of space and parking at the door. The garden was picturesque and hosts very accomodating.

Wir waren wirklich überrascht, wie toll diese Unterkunft war - von der Lage, den Räumlichkeiten, der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit her. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Unterkünften, in denen wir bisher waren, unübertroffen. Deb und Scott sind super nette Gastgeber und haben unsere Erwartungen und Ansprüche weit übertroffen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und wenn mehr als 10 Punkte vergeben werden könnten, hätte "The Lily Inn" diese verdient.

Fantastic location, beautiful garden with a sea view in the distance. Big windows. Accommodation new looking and immaculate. Beds super comfy and easy to locate with easy parking and access.
