Very convenient location and very well equipped.

A personal preference but I found the bed too soft.

Great cozy and comfortable place. Although slightly out of town, but still convenient to reach every place around New Plymouth. Everything is spotless clean. :)

The location was perfect for our business trip. The welcome and help by our hosts was lovely. The place was stunning - exceptionally clean and with every facility we could have needed, plus. The bed was extremely comfortable (I overslept!) The whole place was charming and the exterior was equally as beautiful.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful little house. The home is absolutely lovely - tastefully decorated in harmonious colors and exceptionally well and thoughtfully equipped. In addition, the garden and the wonderfully designed outdoor area make it even more special, not to mention the stunning view of Mount Taranaki. We lacked nothing. The area is very peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a hike around Taranaki or a visit to New Plymouth. There is plenty to explore here, and New Plymouth is also culturally very interesting. It is certainly a place where one could happily spend a much longer time, enjoying the beauty of the region. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt und das schöne kleine Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus ist absolut reizend - geschmackvoll in harmonischen Farben eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut und durchdacht ausgestattet. Darüber hinaus machen der Garten und der wunderschön gestaltete Außenbereich es zu etwas ganz Besonderem, ganz zu schweigen von der atemberaubenden Aussicht auf den Mount Taranaki. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und eignet sich perfekt zum Entspannen nach einer Wanderung rund um Taranaki oder einem Besuch in New Plymouth. Hier gibt es viel zu entdecken, und auch kulturell ist New Plymouth sehr interessant. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Ort, an dem man gerne länger verweilen und die Schönheit der Region genießen könnte.

I loved the whole place, was so beautiful, would like to thank the owners I never saw them but thank you guys so much, I picked the perfect weekend to finally summit mount taranaki along with the perfect location, nice, beautiful, cosy and relaxing, I would love to rebook again as there is so much more to explore in your beautiful neighborhood New Plymouth, The Aviator is an outstanding 10 out of 10, thank you so much 😊

Wonderful location base to explore the local area. The hostess kindly left us some home made lemon curd. Sadly unable to use it as we’re unable to fly internationally with it.

It was lovely & quiet, super tidy & just an overall really nice place to stay. The comfiest bed I've ever slept on (away from home) & just felt the host provided absolutely everything we could think of. Would happily book another stay.

The Location was perfect, great views, very quiet with the sound of sheep, birds, very relaxing. and everything you needed at the location. See pictures of the views, the mountain, and the land around the Accommodation. very cool

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in diesem hochwertig und mit allem Komfort ausgestatteten kleinen Haus. Auch der Außenbereich war sehr gepflegt. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral.

Eine durchweg perfekte Unterkunft, es ist wirklich Alles durchdacht, vorhanden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Moderne Geräte, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten, bequemes Bett, super Dusche. TV mit Netflix & Co. Die Villa liegt zwar auf dem Gelände der Besitzer ist aber völlig separat und umgeben von Grün. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten Tisch und Grill. Waschmaschine, Trockner etc. für den längeren Aufenthalt. Gute Straßenanbindung - nur 500 Meter zur Staatsstraße 3. Wenn es das Wetter zulässt auch Blick zum Mt. Taranaki durch das Küchenfenster oder natürlich draußen. Gegenüber weiden ein paar Schafe und es gibt viele Vögel um das Haus. Vielen Dank an Wendy und Familie für solch eine unschlagbare Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt.

Amazing villa with stunning views of Mt Taranaki. Everything was so beautifully designed it felt very spacious. Lovely to have some little treats as well as some breakfast basics. Really clean and comfortable. We didn’t get to meet the hosts but communication was excellent and our questions were quickly answered. Great stay.

Beautifully set-up, everything we needed

Perfect place to stay, it was so well appointed. The garden was beautiful and the view of the mountain was stunning. The host went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable.

The accommodation was lovely. It has modern finishes and was neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen and a special treat of busicuits and cookies in the tea and coffee station (especially appreciated by our kids). Perfect for a quick stop in New Plymouth. And conveniently positioned just outside of town. Wendy was lovely to deal with. She answered queries promptly and was happy to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

Clean and peaceful

This is our second stay here, and we would have no hesitation in staying here again. It feels like home away from home with the added bonus of a spectacular view of Mount Taranaki from the kitchen window! The property is spotlessly clean and well presented. The full kitchen, with a dish drawer, is awesome, and the bed is really comfortable. It is close to everything while also being away from the hustle! We love what you've done with the front garden!

I had some trouble with the door initially - but that was me, not anything at the property - Wendy came down straight away and sorted it for me. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely and quiet. Had a rural outlook. Very nice.

The Aviator was excellent in all respects: it was beautifully put together with comfortable furniture, everything one could ask for in the kitchen, lovely shower room with plenty of towels, and an incredibly comfy bed (we didn't use the laundry facilities but admired the neat design). And the bonus was an incredible view of Mt Taranaki in the morning.

What a lovely, exceptionally well-appointed home away from home. Quiet and private with all the facilities you need. So glad I found it!

Front door with pin code is a little bit fiddly to get unlocked, but not a big deal.

This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :)

Very clean and nice single house. Excellent facilities. Nice terrace to sit and to have meals al fresco. Although a few kilometers from the airport we did not hear any noise. Neighbours were other single houses, sheep and cows.

Wendy was an excellent host, she contacted me quickly as I'd left a charger behind and organized collection which was greatly appreciated. Accommodation is lovely - very modern, clean, comfortable. It is well appointed, things like spare pillows and throws, the selection of coffee pods and snacks, and nice toiletries made it feel it luxurious yet welcoming and relaxing. We enjoyed the covered deck by the gardens. It is a very quiet location and we all slept well. If you need somewhere close to the airport we highly recommend The Aviator. Even then, it is a short easy drive into the city. We would definitely stay again.

This is an exceptional property immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. High end bedding and lovely furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped for any possible need. Beautiful serene garden and in a quiet bucolic setting. We could stay here long term.

Great location for an early morning flight out of New Plymouth. Clean, Well equipped. Everything you could wish for in a short term accommodation. Only regret was staying For 1 night. I’d recommend 2-3 nights

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. The house itself was comfortable and well appointed, the stubby holders were a nice little touch. You can also see the magnificent snow capped mountain from the kitchen window. We loved our atay, and sad we were only there for 2 nights.

Definitely our go-to place to stay in New Plymouth! Quiet, modern, cosy, and well stocked with everything you need when staying away from home. It’s about 10 minutes drive from central New Plymouth so you’ll need a car, but the drive itself is pretty direct and easy to navigate. Thanks for being so accommodating for our last minute stay!

Everything was very neat and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked

We found the accommodation hard to spot as it was dark and raining very hard . Maybe a bigger sign with an illuminated arrow pointing down the lane way .

The property was modern and well appointed. It was really quiet and very private. The drive into the city centre was quick and easy. Bell Block centre is also very close. We definitely recommend the pizza/pasta Italian restaurant! We would certainly stay here again and absolutely recommend the property.

The place is amazingly peaceful, we loved the garden with all the birds close to the windows and the BBQ under the porch. The owners took care of every detail. Everything that you need is already there ready for use. We'll com back for sure.

We loved the location. It's so peaceful and tranquil. Also, it's not far from the town/ beach. We actually had a family bike ride into New Plymouth while staying here 🙂. We felt very relaxed here and would definitely be returning.

The ranch slider windows of the lounge and bedroom looked out on a very pleasant planting feature. On the other side planted saplings provided a pleasant outlook.
