Gute Lage in einer ruhigen Nebengasse im Zentrum von Bologna. In der Nähe des Parkhauses bzw. Bahnhofs. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter mit guten Angaben zur Anreise und Schlüsselübergabe.

Property was conveniently located with a parking station a very short walk away. The apartment was clean and tidy and had all we needed.

Die Lage mitten im Herzen von Bologna ist unschlagbar! Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und einen sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter!

The only good thing was the location . Otherwise it was a decent stay.

Would have been nice if we we were told of the stairs to The entrance was under renovation before hand . Instead of being told a day before we were supposed to arrive . Plus the coffee mugs weren't not properly cleaned and left to use . Lacked proper ventilation .

Die Eigentümer waren per Handy jederzeit schnell erreichbar und haben die Schlüsselübergane gut beschrieben. Die zwei Zimmer waren liebevoll für uns hergerichtet.

Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

La ubicación, la limpieza, la comodidad...la cama era muy cómoda, un colchón muy bueno. Massimo, el dueño, fue muy amable y atento. Nos ayudó en todo y nos guardó las mochilas antes de la hora del check in para que pudiéramos ir a hacer turismo más cómodas.

La conexión Wifi es débil, cuesta coger la señal. Nos pudimos conectar al final, pero costó al principio.

The location was amazing. Cafes, bars, restaurants and a laundromat all nearby. There was building works being carried out at the apartment entry that we were forewarned about. We were grateful of an earlier check in as it was very warm.

There was no kitchen cooking utensils. There was 2 kitchen chairs and 3 of us staying.

Perfekte Lage zwischen Piazza Maggiore und Hauptbahnhof. Toller Altbau (Grad werden dort Wohnungen renoviert). Der Host war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für uns war die Ausstattung ausreichend, aber diese ist ziemlich spärlich.

We contact the host several times to request for a babycot - such was confirmed. Upon arrival - babycot was not present. However it was provided few hours later (after we call), but it smells like mold and without matress (only bottom cover, which is not sufficient) !

Quite basic and cheap feeling when you get in. Polystyrene on the ceiling, everything very cheap feeling. Owner trying to ask for best reviews which is a no go for me.

The unit was clean, comfortable and centrally located. Aircon was a big plus in the Italian summer! All major attractions are within a 1,1km walk. Massimo was very helpful.

Bardzo przyjemna okolica, czulismy się bezpiecznie i spokojnie. Blisko do Małej Wenecji i starego miasta. Uwielbiam takie kamienice,czułam się jak we włoskim filmie:) śniadanko w barze w samym starym mieście, super. Kontakt z właścicielem sprawny, miły, wszystko wyjaśni, że wszystkim pomoże. Polecam i mam nadzieję że jeszcze kiedyś wrócę do Bolonii i Mama's House!

Great location, clean and comfortable.

Location was decent and it was cheap, but we learned there were reasons for this and you get what you pay for.

We were warned that there would be "dust" on the stairs leading up to the 3rd floor apartment. This was false advertising! There was poorly taped down paper on all the steps that was loose and a trip hazard. Not safe! The air conditioner worked for one room, but didn't extend to the other room so our kids would have roasted. We asked for a fan (host didn't know what that was, ended up having someone drop one off at 10pm!). No kitchen space.

Ottima posizione in pieno centro a Bologna, a pochi passi da Piazza Maggiore, perfetta per visitare la città in totale comodità. Il nostro appartamento si trovava al secondo piano, accogliente e funzionale, perfetto per 5 persone (noi eravamo 4 amiche e siamo state ancora più comode!). Ottima la pulizia, letti comodi, molto apprezzata la presenza della macchinetta del caffè con le cialde!!!! Per finire, host estremamente gentile e disponibile. Penso che questo appartamento diventerà il nostro punto di riferimento per future vacanze a Bologna, anche con la mia famiglia, considerando che anche i cagnolini sono ben accetti! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

Location is really central but on a quiet street and only 10 minute walk from the railway station. Apartment was spotless, beds were comfortable, air-con was essential and very effective in 37 degree heat. Shower was powerful, plenty of towels provided and tea and coffee were appreciated. Communication with the host was exceptionally good, very easy and quick to respond. Property represented good value for money and would use again for a short stay.

Not the fault of the property (and they did email us about this just before our arrival) but the hallway and landing were being seriously renovated. We arrived after dark and had to use phone torches to find our way up to third floor as could not find any light switches. (Did find them in the morning). Once completed I am sure it will look great. Would have awarded 9 but there are no kitchen facilities in the attic/penthouse apartment (just a kettle). Spoons, bowls and plates would have been useful so we could have had breakfast/supper in the apartment. Wine glasses were provided but a corkscrew would also be helpful for future guests. The photos seemed to show a kitchen but when I looked more closely these photos relate to the other apartment run by Mama’s House.

Nice central location and yet very quiet at night. Good spot for walking to all the sights.

Inside the building is under renovation at the moment. It will be nice when it’s finished but for now they’re busy plastering & painting all the way up the stairs. We were only there for 1 night so it didn’t affect us at all. Room is in the attic so you’ve many stairs to climb.

The communication with the renter and their approach to our needs was wonderful as well as the location.

Localization, cleanliness, olives and spices available. Fast check in without problems.

Great central location. Apartment was comfortable and host was communicative and accommodating.

There is presently renovations going on in the front hallway and stairs ( the host was very apologetic about this) that made a lot of dust and obstacles to get around. The apartment itself was clean and quiet.

Loved the host, Massimo was so thoughtful and helpful all along leading upto the check-in and even post check out. MaMa's house is truly like going to your mom's house, it is spacious, it is well set up with tea/ coffee, pots, pans, oil, salt and basic condiments and the bathroom , kitchenette and bedroom are absolutely wonderful. My only regret was that I was only staying for a night

Was allowed to check in early 1 hour. Not too far from main square. Grocery store close, bathroom updated. Clear instructions with pictures to enter building and apartment.

Was told to excuse light dust on stairs when entering the building, and in reality it was all under full blown construction. The refrigerator did not keep anything cold. Air conditioning was in the main room only, the room with large bed and twin was extremely hot the entire stay. A/c did not reach that area of the apartment - hard to sleep at night. A fan would “help” the situation at best. Small and cramped, not worth the value we paid. Upstairs neighbors woke us up early stomping feet for hours. Stayed in others parts of Italy for 4 weeks and this is by far the most disappointing accommodation for the money we paid. Check in is 3:30pm (even though we got in a bit early) but check out was 9:30am. If I paid a lot less I would have not have had higher expectations.

Great location and very clean. Host was responsive but unable to resolve our issues.

Stairs under significant construction made getting in and out of the unit very difficult. Honestly people shouldn’t be staying there during the renovation. We were in the “attic” room and no one turned on the AC prior to our arrival and it was HOT to the point we were unable to stay in the room. It took the AC many hours to get the room somewhat cool. We were unable to use the back bedroom because of the heat.

Excellent location, super easy check in process. The room is exactly as shown in pictures, just fine for our family of three (one double bed, one single). The host was very helpful, their instructions were very clear and response time was fast as well. You also get to enjoy a lovely free breakfast (pastry and coffee) in a cafe nearby, which if it's included in your booking.

Posizione ottima. Si trova in pieno centro, tutte le attrazioni principali sono raggiungibili a piedi. Stanza bella e pulita.

I rumori sulla strada non si sentono. Però appena qualcuno entra nel palazzo aprendo la porta o che parlano nel corridoio o scale si sente tutto.

L'hôtel que nous avons trouvé après être partis de là.

1. Il n'y a aucune insonorisation. Les voisins sont extrêmement bruyants et la porte d'entrée se trouve juste derrière le lit. Impossible de dormir sans bouchons. 2. Les lits n'étaient pas du tout confortables, je n'ai pas dormi avant 1h du matin et j'ai eu très mal à la nuque et au dos après avoir dormi seulement une ou deux heures. 3. Les draps étaient sales et il n'y avait pas de linge pour se sécher les mains dans la salle de bains. 4. Il n'y avait aucun chauffage. Il faisait 16° dans la journée et encore plus froid la nuit. Nous avons dormi habillés et avons eu très peur pour notre santé. 5. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la douche tant il faisait froid car nous n'osions pas nous déshabiller dans la salle de bains. 6. Lorsque nous avons voulu cuisiner, le courant a lâché. Nous n'avions plus d'électricité et avons écrit à notre personne de contact qui n'a pas répondu. C'est seulement après avoir appelé booking.com qui a contacté la personne de contact que nous avons eu une réponse, sauf que mon téléphone s'est éteint... car sans courant, je n'ai pas pu le charger. 7. Cerise sur le gâteau, la personne de contact nous a traités de menteurs quand nous avons signalé le problème. Il nous a dit que tout allait bien, que le logement n'est pas cher pour la ville, que le chauffage est enclenché et certifié et qu'il ne faisait pas 16° (heureusement nous avons pris une photo d'un thermomètre dans l'appartement), que c'est normal de ne pas avoir d'électricité quand on utilise plus d'un appareil en même temps et que si on l'avait averti tout de suite il serait venu (alors que nous l'avons averti tout de suite et qu'il a fallu attendre l'intervention de booking.com pour avoir une réponse). Nous avons bien entendu, après une nuit glaciale, pas d'électricité ni de réponse pendant plusieurs heures, dû réserver quelque chose ailleurs.

The location was fabulous. Very close to main street and square. Easy to walk everywhere. Lots of great cafes and shops and sights nearby. 15 minutes to station. The host was responsive and helpful. Comfortable bed.

The kitchen was not well set up for cooking. It was quite noisy at times.

The neighbours (seems to be long term residents rather than temporary guests) are extremely loud, banging on the floor/ceiling and kids screaming, with little sound insulation, including during "quiet hours", and the host's response was "what can I do", "We've all been children once". The host somehow expects you to clean up after yourself, including taking out rubbish. She sent me a photo of a bunch of my hair on the tiled floor (which would be easily picked up by vacuum), shaming me "you should have cleaned". The cash payment for city tax is unforgettable. The host expects you to work out how much to pay by formula rather than giving you a sum to pay, and it's cash left on the table on checkout - no verification, no change, just expects the exact amount of cash (based on a simple formula) on the table (or perhaps they are counting on you leaving extra?) Shower doors are mouldy around the edges. Sheet only, no duvet cover.

The apartment was lovely and comfortable, conveniently located near the city center. Our stay was very pleasant. Bologna is an amazing city with exquisite cuisine, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Sehr gute Lage in der Innenstadt, aber trotzdem ruhig. In der Nähe gute Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und Essen. Die Einrichtung war spärlich, aber stilvoll.

Erst nach der Buchung wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Apartment im 3. Stock liegt - ohne Aufzug. Das war aus der Beschreibung leider nicht zu entnehmen.
