Abbiamo fatto un safari sul cammello e siamo arrivati nel mezzo del deserto dove non c’era niente e nessuno. Nice guesthouse in very good location, near to Badal Mahal, Vyas Chhatri and not far from the old city and fort. Everything reachable by foot. Good restaurants nearby too. Very confortable terrace with beautiful view towards the fort/old city and Vyas Chhatri. Very cool staff very kind and helpful, they helped us also much further to deal with one personal issue. Property was never the station so reaching and finding the property was never the issue.. The caretaker was the best part of our stay.. He kept us comforted us a lot.. Even though we only booked a room in his property still he went out of ways to asist us in ways of being a tour guide, travel agent and a transport agent. Because of his assistance we had a great time.

I have been to many hotels in India I would like to say this is one of the worse experiences. You can find many hotels with better prices, rooms, services and location. First, the staff texted me and demanded 40% of the payment upfront, completely against Booking.com’s “pay at the property” policy. I paid 5040₹ for a room that wasn’t worth more than 1000₹. While I understand it’s peak travel season, the price should at least match the quality and this not even close. The location is ok, requiring a 15-minute walk to the city center. The room was not worth and unimpressive, with no hot water available at night. The rooftop, which could have been a highlight, seemed completely empty and neglected. The staff were rudely, unhelpful and didn’t even offer to assist with carrying luggage. On top of that, the hotel doesn’t provide essential toiletries like soap or shampoo.

I managed to write medium positive 6-star review, but a few minutes later I achieved rather aggressive text messages. Reviews are there to give future tourists an honest way to compare hotels. Now I understand why some Indian hotels have very high reviews, not matching the quality… ——————————————————————————— It is very cheap, so you should not expect much. Location is on walking distance to the fort. Room is big and clean enough. But it is all a bit broken down, everything in the bathroom was leaking and the AC did not work properly.

It is all a bit weird. People are sleeping in the hallways, no one was there to properly check us in, they don’t have change if you pay. I have the feeling they mainly focus on the camel safaris (which we didn’t do with them) and the hotel is a bit on the side.

DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL, IT’S A SCAM!!! NEVER SHOW YOUR BOOKING CONFIRMATION! With the code and pin they can alter your booking. They wrote a 10 star review for themselves in my name. There's warm water in the shower although it was a bit tricky to figure out how to make it work. Unbeatable price.

I kept finding ants on the bed. When I checked in the toilet in my room hadn't been flushed and it had someone else's waste in it. No bin in the room or toilet paper. A bit noisy outside. Rooftop cafe is very expensive.

This a is very budget homestay near sunset point. The property is very clean and well maintained by Ayub and Ali bhai who never disturb you for anything and let you enjoy your peaceful time. My friend left her washing on the line and the staff packaged it up and put it on the bus to Jodhpur for her to collect, which was so so kind!! Thank you! The veg noodles are delicious too!!

The place is well located with adorable terrace access that gives you a view of Jaiselmer and fort. If you want to stay at the place i recommend to book it beforehand online rather than offline for seamless and organized experiance.

-The staff wouldn't stop asking us to make the full payment right away! Even before we put our bags down. Eventually we realised why. -The rooms is so small that 2 people could hardly fit. -The bathroom is so small that if I sit on the commode my face is literally on the bathroom sink. -Hot water is only in the morning. -The sheets and pillow cover is so filthy that I had to pull my tower to cover the pillow. -The quilt cover is extremely dirty and torn. -The rooms stinks of filthy that comes from the drain in the bathroom. Yuck! -Everythibg about this stay is disgusting. I have stayed in so many honestays across the country and abroad. I wasn't looking for some fancy setup. But definitely hygiene is something I look for. We ended up moving out the next morning despite after paying the full amount of 2 nights. -All the reviews we saw both on booking.com and Google didn't add up to the reality of how disgusting this place is.

The rooftop was my favourite place in the guest house, from there you can see the sunset and the fort of Jaisalmer. Ali can organise tours into the desert for a very reasonable price. The wifi was good and the shower had really good pressure and was hot as well. Free pick up from the train station in the late evening was very convenient. Thank you🙏🏽

The rooms have ventilation slots to the hallway and in the morning after 7:00 you can hear the staff speaking and spewing. Had to use the ass shower for washing my hands instead of the tab in the sink because it didn't work. Stains on the bedsheets but unfortunately very usual in India. Footmat infront of bathroom and a bin would be nice.

We had a really great time in Rumi’s guest house. They managed the tuktuk pickup when we arrived in the night and they organised a really good safari in the desert. All off the staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The guest house is close from everything (fort, citadel), you can do everything by walk which is comfortable. We highly recommend this place for everyone who want to stay in Jaisalmer. The room, the location, the staff, the rooftop… everything was perfect.

From a female, european solo traveller ;) Price-quality ratio is unmatched, I'd say. This is a very nice, budget-friendly place. It's clean and tidy. The host is there to advice for anything you might need and has some great local recommendations, for quality, local food, good views, shopping where the national tourists shop too (so at very reasonable prices) etc. etc. The location is great, as it's in walking distance (10-15 mins) from the centre and the fort, but it's far enough away from the main road to not have all of the noise of the traffic :D So, you can feel cozy and get some rest, but you're close to everything :) I also booked my desert camp with Ali and it was AMAZING!!!
