Reviewed Jun 17, 2026Very close to the celebration we were attending, private, off-road parking, spacious, exceptionally clean and the hosts had turned on the heating before we arrived so our accomodation was beautifully warm and cosy when we arrived on a miserable winters day. It was very appreciated!

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026It was bigger than I thought it would be, also there was no photos of the bathroom so was a little worried what it would be like but it was really lovely, clean and tidy. The lounge, kitchen and dining room were perfectly set up with plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Plunger etc and lovely coffee and milk available. The host were so hospitably, very kind and also had fresh muffins for us.

Arrival into a very cold property. In the middle of winter, the heating could have been switched on a couple of hours before our scheduled arrival. The spoons did not match the contours of either set of bowls. The smoke alarm was too close to the oven door and went off whenever the oven door was opened.

Reviewed Sep 24, 2023It was a lovely apartment and the location was fairly good. It's easy to reach the central city by bus. It's not the cheapest stay if you are just looking for a simple place to stay, as it is a rather luxurious. However, the value for money is really good. I really recommend this place if you need to relax and is looking for a slight staycation.
The hill leading to the property is abit steep, but it's really a minor thing

A flashing light outside the window one night and a low humming (possibly a heat pump?) until around 10-11pm each night. Very minor issues though - overall a great place to stay.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2022I actually booked this apartment for my elderly parents - Location was beautiful and only 7 minutes drive from the venue of the birthday they were there for. My parents got lost and Ada and her husband went out of there way to get them they are amazing. My parents were very overwhelmed with there hospitality and the warm baked bread waiting for them on Saturday. Definitely recommend this home way from home and they will definitely be back again.
Maybe a dress mirror upstairs.
