Sonia and her son, Juan, were so warm and gracious. They always made sure I had everything I needed and showed me around some of the highlights of Quindío. Although the recent earthquake was a tragedy, thankfully much of the region has not been affected and it is the perfect time to go to miss the crowds.

Ahhh, where can we even begin to describe the beauty of our days at Finca La Adelita? This is definitely a place where we truly came to appreciate the beauty of simple things. Our stay was far too short, but fortunately intense enough for us to experience what matters most when you are welcomed and hosted from the heart. To celebrate our upcoming wedding, Sonia kindly upgraded our room, and her welcome was so warm that we immediately felt at home. She also surprised us with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace to celebrate our special occasion. It never really felt like staying at a hotel or guesthouse; instead, we felt as though we were staying with family. Most of all, we had the privilege of spending an entire evening chatting with Sonia about absolutely everything—from our families to geopolitics, from food to our life experiences. The conversation was as meaningful as it was fun: a little Italian, a little Spanish, a little English… so many languages, yet one priceless memory that we will treasure forever. Unfortunately, because our schedules didn’t quite match, we didn’t get the chance to try Sonia’s legendary breakfast. But we are certain that when we return to Colombia, we will also return to the Finca… there’s no way we’re missing el desayuno de Sonia next time!! And as if that weren’t enough, Sonia was even kind enough to give us some guavas from her garden to take with us on our journey to the airport. What a wonderful person. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything, Sonia & team. We had the most wonderful time and truly hope to see you again soon! Nous avons absolument adoré notre séjour à la Finca Adelita ❤️ Sonia et son fils Juan nous ont accueillis dans leur magnifique maison avec une gentillesse incroyable. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous : un endroit plein de charme, chaleureux et paisible, où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Nous étions malheureusement à Salento lors du tremblement de terre du 10 août. Même s’ils étaient eux-mêmes très choqués par ce qui venait de se passer, Sonia et Juan ont tout fait pour nous aider et nous permettre de poursuivre notre voyage dans les meilleures conditions possibles, notamment en nous aidant à trouver un transport alors que la situation était particulièrement compliquée. Nous leur en sommes vraiment reconnaissants. Ce sont des personnes exceptionnelles : toujours disponibles, attentionnées, pleines de bons conseils et prêtes à rendre service. Juan parle également parfaitement français et organise des visites dans la magnifique vallée de Carbonera, qui est absolument splendide. Merci encore à Sonia et Juan pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et tous ces petits gestes qui ont rendu notre séjour si spécial. Une très belle rencontre et une adresse que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation. ❤️

Éste fue uno de los mejores alojamientos de nuestro viaje por Colombia. El alojamiento en sí era lo que buscábamos (una finca tranquila, con una habitación cómoda, bien decorada y muy grande, etc.), pero lo que más nos sorprendió fue el recibimiento y la acogida de Sonia, la dueña de la finca. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos nos atendió como a uno más de su familia, se preocupó por que estuviéramos bien, que tuviéramos algo que desayunar a pesar de salir muy temprano, etc. A pesar de que nosotros generalmente preferimos la soledad durante nuestras estancias, disfrutamos mucho hablando largo y tendido con ella, aprendiendo mucho de la situación en Colombia, y contando nuestras propias experiencias del viaje. Como info práctica, mencionar lo siguiente: en el alojamiento hay agua potable filtrada gratis, pudimos usar la piscina por las tardes (buena temperatura), el desayuno es muy completo, se aparca dentro de la finca y a 3 minutos andando hay un restaurante con platos bien elaborados y magnífica atención.

Sitio tranquilo y agradable. Los dueños de la finca un amor y te hacen sentir como en casa. Nos tocó vivir el terremoto aquí y nos cuidaron como si fuéramos familia. Además son autosuficientes y tuvimos luz, agua y wifi todo el rato. Totalmente recomendable. P.d: el pan del desayuno de masa madre y hecho por ellos… madre mía q delicia…

L’accueil de Sonia et JP était exceptionnel. Vous êtes réellement accueillis et vous sentez très vite « comme à la maison ». Merci à eux pour le temps passé et les discussions qui nous ont permis de faire plus que du tourisme et de rencontrer des personnes absolument charmantes. Nous recommandons vivement le tour à la Carbonara avec JP, qui est également guide professionnel.

We had a great time at Finca, The Owner Dona Sonia was outstanding. The breakfast was great. She entertained us with teaching us about her property her birds or chickens or fish farm or fruits. She was very attentive to all of our needs.

Lorsque nous avons perdu notre carte bleue, vous nous avez apporté une aide précieuse pour trouver rapidement une solution, ce qui nous a vraiment facilité la suite du voyage. Votre fils, guide sur le secteur, nous a emmenés découvrir les villages alentours : il a été très accueillant, bienveillant et d'excellents conseils. Muy buena ubicación para moverse entre Finlandia y Salento. Excelente desayuno. Cerca restaurantes. El estilo de una casa típica del campo colombiano.

Sonia und ihr Team sind unglaublich herzlich, zuvorkommend und stets gut gelaunt. Sonia hat uns bei der Planung unserer Aktivitäten mit wertvollen Tipps unterstützt und alles unkompliziert organisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig gelegen und dennoch nur etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto von Filandia und Salento entfernt – perfekt, um die Kaffeezone zu erkunden.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es gibt aus unserer Sicht nichts Negatives zu erwähnen. Vielen Dank!

She also made our kids beautiful pancakes for breakfast. Breakfast was all homemade with lovely fresh fruit salad, warm bread, eggs and the best coffee! Thank you so much for everything Sonia, we had a great stay! Highly recommended.

At the time of our stay the place was not crowded, so it was just ourselves and that was a big advantage. The property is nice, old fashioned, heritage style, the rooms were ok and clean, just like on the photos. Breakfast was really good and plenty. The biggest advantage is the staff. The owner Donna Sonia was really nice, took care of everything, treated us like family, other staff members, Hector and the girls looked after us and were really helpful.

From the second we arrived to the second we left we were treated like family. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and goes the extra mile to make your experience feel perfect. There were so many things to love about this amazing B&B. La finca was close to everything and Sonia made sure that everything that we could ever need an answer for was answered. Suggestions on places to go , Filandia, Salento, Quindio, Coffee tours, places to eat and a genuine caring for every experience we had. La finca was clean and beautiful and I would recommend this to anyone coming for an enchanting visit. Whether it is your first time in the country or you live here , I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. When I say how happy I am with our stay, I believe it is an understatement. I don't have the words to express my gratitude for Sonia and everyone at la Finca. There was not one thing that I could possibly say negatively about our stay. My wife and I are over the moon and when we return we will be calling Sonia first. Don't wait, book here immediately and you will feel like a part of the family. I truly believe I have family here after 2 days staying. THIS is how you run a business. This was a very quick trip for my wife and I. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Finca Campestre La Adelita, and it was genuinely one of the most heartwarming experiences we’ve had. The owner, Sonia, is an absolute gem—she welcomes you like you’re part of her family, which makes the whole experience feel incredibly homely. On the evening we arrived, Sonia hosted a little cheese and wine gathering for all the guests, and we spent the evening chatting in her sitting room, feeling utterly at home. She even gave us a brand new bedroom—it was the first time anyone had stayed in it—and it was absolutely lovely. The finca itself is a charming, traditional Colombian farmhouse, family-run, and full of character. Sonia makes her own cheese and butter, and breakfast is a homemade feast with fresh ingredients straight from the farm. You’ll find hens, goats, horses, parrots, and even a cow on the finca, all adding to that warm, rustic atmosphere. It’s a perfect place if you’re looking for a genuine, down-to-earth, and utterly charming Colombian experience. We couldn’t have felt more looked after or more at home, and I can’t recommend it enough if you want a cosy, farm-style stay with a truly personal touch.

Sonia is simply the best host you could ever find. She has a huge heart and makes you feel instantly at home. She goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable, offering the best tips and even arranging your transfers and excursions for you. The finca is pure paradise, and breakfast is just perfect. Tive uma experiência maravilhosa neste alojamento! Cheguei bastante mal disposta de Cartagena, e a Sónia, com uma simpatia enorme, preparou um cocktail delicioso que me fez recuperar rapidamente — um gesto que nunca vou esquecer. A limpeza do espaço é impecável e o pequeno-almoço, fresco e saboroso, foi o início perfeito para os meus dias em Salento. Recomendo vivamente!

Absolut herzliche Aufnahme von Sonia und ihrem Team, die einem von Anfang an das Gefühl geben hier zuhause zu sein. Morgens erwartet einen ein herrliches Frühstück mit einer Bowl voller frischer Früchte, selbstgemachtem Käse und Marmelade und abends, wenn es sich ergibt, ein Abend mit Käse und Wein am Kamin.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Finca etwas außerhalb liegt, aber mit Uber ist das ja heutzutage kein Problem mehr.

Notre séjour à la Finca Campestre La Adelita était génial. L’emplacement est super pour rayonner autour de la région du café mais ce que nous avons apprécié par dessus tout c’est la gentillesse , l’accueil et la générosité de l’hôte Sonia. Sonia vous fait sentir comme à la maison dès votre arrivée et c’est tellement appréciable quand vous êtes en voyage. Merci milles fois Sonia pour ton accueil , on n’oubliera pas notre passage chez toi et ton excellente recette du Guacamole 😍

Sin duda, un acierto Heber escogido La Adelita. El trato, el lugar… todo hace de esta finca el mejor alojamiento para pasar unos días en el Eje Cafetero.

Como todas las opiniones anteriores, lo mas destacado es el nivel de calidad humanda de todos los trabajadores, siempre dispuestos a satisfacer las necesidades que te puedan surgir. El establecimiento es muy pintoresco, una casa antigua que se mantiene intacta, posee una buena ubicación a media hora de los principales puntos de interés, el desayuno es abundante y de buena calidad. las camas confortables así como la ropa de cama.

De gastvrijheid van Sonia en haar collega’s was voortreffelijk. We voelden ons meteen thuis en zij hielpen ons met het organiseren van onze dagen, waaronder excursies naar een koffie- en een cacaoplantage. Het ontbijt, met heerlijk fruit en producten van eigen makelij, stond iedere ochtend buiten voor ons klaar. Sonia hielp ons graag met het oplossen van enkele problemen.

We absolutely loved our stay at Finca Campestre La Adelita—it felt like a little slice of paradise! Sonya is such a kind and thoughtful host, and her warmth truly made the experience special! She instantly made us feel like her family. Finca has such a calm, peaceful energy, surrounded by nature and filled with the sounds of birds and rustling trees. Mornings were our favourite—waking up to a delicious homemade breakfast and the chatter of the parrots. The food was full of flavour and made with so much love! The dogs roaming the property made us feel even more at home. Only 30 mins from Cocora Valley and a few restaurants and cafes around if you want a change! It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and connected. We didn’t want to leave!

Finca Adelita was an amazing experience. Our host, Sonia was extremely welcoming, gladly attending to all our needs and booking trips and excursions. The rooms themselves were comfortable, and the decor of the finca spoke of it's long history, something which Sonia was proud to share. We began each day with a delicious breakfast, which consisted of homemade ghee, jam, cheese and bread as well as fruit and double yoked eggs from the farm, as well as a special surprise of delicious homemade empanadas on our last day. Sonia and her team's hospitality and hard work made the experience extremely unique and enjoyable, and we would love to return in the future.

Una noche increíble al lado de la chimenea con unos excelentes vinos. el lugar muy acogedor y muy buena la atención, las habitaciones confortables.

My daughter and I had a lovely experience. Sonia, our host, is a bucket full of sunshine. She has a warm heart and clearly is invested in her guests. My daughter later told me, "Sonia is like my Columbian Grandmother. I love staying with her".

I understand that we traveled during the cool season, but some chairs by the pool would have been a nice touch to allow us to sit in the sun.

Viajamos con mi familia al Eje Cafetero, vivimos una gran experiencia, la atención del personal excelente, la Finca divina, los desayunos estuvieron excelentes y abundantes, nos encanto mucho cien por ciento recomendado

La atención de Sonia fue lo que más nos gustó, es un ambiente cálido y el desayuno espectacular.

Pasamos una excelente velada con mi pareja, un lugar muy acogedor, la atención del personal muy buena la habitación muy comoda, los desayunos muy ricos y variado.

Tuvimos una gran noche, nos recibieron de ultima hora y tenian la chimenea prendida con una taza de chocolate,, conversamos un buen rato. la habitación acogedora con excelentes mantas hicieron nuestro descanso increíble, agua caliente en la ducha, luego desayunamos delicioso, todo fresco en la mesa, nos dejaron guardar las maletas hasta la tarde por que vamos a una caminata, para luego pasar por ellas y continuar con nuestro viaje.Volveremos

Beautiful farm, clean and spacious rooms, amazing breakfast with delicious fruit, local eggs and freshly made cheese. Sonia was absolutely incredible and treated us like family. We loved our time in Salento. Sonia’s farm is a true gem if you want an authentic Colombian experience. 10/10

The best host! She not only has everything clean, she also cooks amazing and shared amazing tips for home cook meals. The place feels cozy and has a lot of history. Definitely a whole cultural experience that everyone should live if comes to Eje Cafetero.

La finca esta muy bien conservada, limpia y es sumamente acogedora. La atención fue excelente; nos consintieron con todo lo que pedimos y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Ademas, tiene un acceso facil. La comida tiene una sazón deliciosa, ademas de ser muy natural. Definitivamente vale la pena visitarla.

Un viaje super tranquilo, verme rodeada de tanta frescura en el ambiente y naturaleza, las habitaciones super cómodas y limpias, los desayunos increíbles.. Con ellos preparamos un queso crema delicioso..Volveremos

Una estancia absolutamente perfecta! Nuestra anfitriona fue increíble: llena de energía, amable y tan atenta que nos sentimos como en casa. Se encargó de todo con muchísimo cariño, nos lavó la ropa e incluso cocinó para nosotros. Cada momento en su alojamiento fue maravilloso. Su hospitalidad hizo que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. ¡Recomendamos este lugar sin ninguna duda y volveríamos encantados!

una finca spettacolare , il letto comodo cuscini comodi , doccia calda , la colazione ti viene offerta con tutti i prodotti fatti in casa , il caffe' spettacolare fatto con la cafferttiera di acciaio chirurgico , senti veramente il sapore del caffe , la casa e pulita , hanno piscina .... la ubicazione e' eccellente si dorme senza rumori risveglio in mezzo alla natura con il canto degli uccellini, l anfitrione e una persona molto amabile e il team della casa sempre disponibile e attenta ai dettagli !!!

El desayuno estuvo delicioso, nutritivo y variado, se sirvió a tiempo y con una excelente disposición. Este hotel cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada ya que esta cerca a la via principal y se pude ir a Salento y Filandia a pesar de estar cerca de la via principal es un sitio ideal para descansar. la atención es muy buena y me gustaría volver.Y mi perri-hija WANDA la paso delicioso. por que aqui son Pet Frendly.

We enjoyed staying at this Farm since it's a very pleasant place, the host is super friendly, welcoming and a great guide who recommended us good restaurants around the area, things to do and helped make our stay like at home. She also ensured that our rooms were comfortable for each of us, made our breakfast very special with her own recipe of feijoa and sesame seeds jam the first morning along with fresh farm-made cheese, the blueberry jam with ghee butter, fresh-made bread and the spectacular feijoa guava juice the second morning. The breakfast is very filling, they served us two double-yolk eggs every morning, coffee, milk, cheese, juice, jam, and butter. The farm is very relaxing and nicely decorated. We felt very well-treated and definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience tranquility, feel at home and interact with the friendly people of Quindio.

De ontvangst door en aanwezigheid van Sonía vormt de geweldige basis van dit verblijf. De warmte en positieve energie zijn onuitputtelijk en zorgen voor een zorgeloos verblijf in de accommodatie en voor een geweldige beleving van de omgeving. De finca is wat ouder, maar dat is juist de charme . Een fantastische plek, heerlijk vers en gezond ontbijt en op de vertrekdag zelfs huisgemaakte empanadas.

Un lugar hermoso, una casa patrimonial bellísima, rústica, en un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo , libre de ruidos , una amabilidad impresionante de su anfitriona , muy bellas sus instalaciones ..... da gusto ser recibido por su dueña , q te converse , tan amablemente, q te invite un delicioso café ☕️ 😋 , da gusto relacionarse y conocer personas así.

If you are comparing your options right now, stop and book this one! You will not regret it, promise! We chose to stay at „La Adelita“ after reading all these amazing reviews that seem almost too good to be true but now we know they are true!! We really wanted an authentic stay and this is as authentic as it gets. 💯 Sonia, the host, was like a mum, taking care of us so warmly, making us feel like being at a home away from home. We arrived and started our stay straight away with nice conversations and wine in front of the fireplace in her cozy shared living room. She made sure that we could make the most of the two days we had in the area, borrowing us cash, organizing rides, booking tickets for us, giving us recommendations, lending us water bottles for the day, even helping us out with medication, like a mum helping with whatever we needed. 💕 One night we came back at night, and she offered us a delicious Colombian dinner for free - a soup called „Ajiaco“ - it was heavenly and we enjoyed together with wine and other guests! 😍 uhhh and talking about delicious food… the breakfast is super super delicious as well with home-made products, like fresh fig and berry jam, their own butter, freshly baked bread, eggs as you want them, freshly pressed orange juice, coffee or tea from the own garden. Best way to start the day! And finally the Finca itself - „La Adelita“ is super beautifully decorated and you feel just like in the Encanto movie. The room had everything we needed, a big shower with hot water, a big bed, storage space, and opening the window we could see the farms birds. We could also refill our water bottles with filtered water any time we wanted and our room was serviced daily. Really, the only problem was, that we didn’t stay long enough (make sure to stay longer than 2 days in the area and with Sonia). But, we already said, we will be back! Muchas Gracias Sonia and Family for welcoming us so warmly and giving us a Colombian home! 💛💙♥️
