Beautiful view on ha long bay

Ich habe 2 Nächte in dem Hostel verbracht. Alles war super: es ist sauber, die Aussicht ist Top, entspannte Dachterrasse und super freundliches Personal. Ich habe dort eine Tour durch die Halong Bucht gebucht, die Vermittlung und der Transport zum Pier haben reibungslos geklappt. MR.Kien, der netteste Hostelmitarbeiter auf meiner Vietnam Reise, hat sich um alles gekümmert und immer geschaut dass es mir gut geht, lokale Restaurants empfohlen und für mich die Tour organisiert. Wenn ich mich mal wieder in der Gegend befinde, komme ich auf jeden Fall in das Hostel. PS: kostenloser Motorroller Parkplatz auch vorhanden.

Mr kien so kind and helpful me for everything

Nous avons adoré ce charmant hôtel bien situé sur la coline. Tout est propre, fonctionnel. L'accueil chaleureux du personnel a été agréable après des heures de route. Ils sont discrets et souriants. Même la cuisinière été très chouette avec nous . Les petits déjeuners sont riches et bons. On a même de l'eau filtrée à notre disposition. Moins de déchets plastiques à la mer 🥰 Grand merci à Mr . Kiên. Il a été arrangeant, sociable et très professionnel. Il nous a bien conseillées , assistées. Nous recommandons vivement Eco by May5 hôtel.

Nice social areas and the pool was nice to cool off. There were cards and games to play which was nice and the room was decent.

Not the fault of the property but a beach club nearby blasts music every night which was annoying when trying to sleep and chill - ruined the chill vibe of the homestay. Also blinds in the room are on a wonky branch making it hard to cover the full window. Laundry was quite expensive and we did struggle to check in early morning even after asking before.

Le personnel à la réception était sympa et était près à trouver des solutions lorsque les choses étaient compliquées.

Le petit déjeuner sans boisson j'ai trouvé cela pas très professionnel et pas beaucoup de choix au menu. L'équipe de nettoyage 0/10, je ne comprends pas comment on ne peut pas nettoyer une chambre en profondeur ! (poussière, cafards mort dernière les meubles c'est ahurissants. L’hygiène est une chose que tout le monde ne tolère pas. Depuis les chambres privées ont entend toutes les conversations dans le couloir et le hall d'entrée (clients, réception..)

El personal te ofrece actividades por la zona y las puedes contratar desde el propio alojamiento, aunque eran caras.

En general, la ciudad de Ha Long no presenta ningún atractivo. Buscaría alojamientos fuera de esta zona (isla de Cat Ba o Quang Ninh si buscas algo por este sitio)

The room was very nice and had a lovely balcony. The swimming pool was great, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Mr. Kien for his kindness and excellent service. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place.

Hoàn toàn không hài lòng với chất lượng. Đầu tiên, tôi bị chuyển chỗ ngồi mà không hề được báo trước. Khi tôi đến, chỗ ngồi của tôi đã có người chiếm. Như tôi đã nói, bộ sạc của tôi vẫn ở đó. Họ thuyết phục tôi rằng chỗ ngồi của tôi sẽ không bị chiếm, nhưng,Khi tôi đến vào buổi tối thì chỗ đó đã có người ở rồi.Thứ hai, nhân viên nhà bếp của quý khách không mấy lịch sự với khách, và thứ ba, không ai trả lại bộ sạc điện thoại cho tôi. Tôi có ấn tượng rất không tốt về khách sạn của quý khách.

Mr.Kien was very nice. We came at 3 in the morning and everything was ready for us. We stayed here one more night and we had really nice experience with calm neigberhood and relaxes oasis in the hotel.

Very quaint hotel, clean, comfortable room! Pool facilities were very nice. The staff was all friendly and accommodating, Mrkien was so helpful during our stay.

I had a great stay at Eco by May5 Hostel. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Mr. Kien at reception he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. His hospitality really made my stay even better. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Das Frühstück ist wirklich super und die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich!!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt über einem Hahn Gehege dadurch, dass die Wände sehr dünn sind hat man die Hähne den ganzen Morgen über gehört. Außerdem war das Zimmer direkt neben der Küche, dadurch hat man jeden Morgen ab 06:30 Uhr einen sehr lauten Lärmpägel gehabt. Mein Partner hatte sich eine Nacht sogar seine Airpods mit Geräuchsunterdrückung anziehen müssen, dass er den Lärm nicht mehr hört. Zudem war in der Zeit in der wir dort waren (29.06-01.07.2026) am Strand eine Art Techno Party, welche bis 2 Uhr morgens ging und die Musik über die ganze Stadt gehört hat. Allgemein kann man sagen, dass die Wände in dem Hotel sehr dünn sind und man sich darauf einstellen kann weniger schlaf zu haben. Ein kleiner Kritik Punkt ist, dass es kein warmes Wasser gab, welches ich gerne gehabt hätte, da es nur sehr kaltes Wasser gab.

Good breakfast, clean room and nice people. Specially Mr. Kien was very nice and helped us.

Mr Kien was great he helped me with the Ha Long Bay booking and really quick laundry service. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the property. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around Ha Long.

Le personnel est serviable et trouve toujours des solutions J ai eu un problème avec ma réservation pour la croisière, et le jeune réceptionniste a passé plusieurs coups de téléphone pour trouver une solution. Bravo Et après il m a organisé mon séjour comme une conciergerie 5 étoiles

Phòng và tiện nghi giống ảnh, phòng khá ổn, bể bơi không được trong lắm, nhưng bù lại thái độ anh lễ tân tên Kiên gánh tất cả, đồ ăn sáng khá ngon, nói chung là chưa được 10 nhưng cũng trên 8.5

The staff was nice, especially Kien was very helpfull. I would definitely come back. Only downside was that I’m 1,88 and the beds were a little short so my feet dangled of the end

I had a really nice time, highly and truly recommend this place to everybody. Special thanks to Kien and Trang. Both of them went beyond my expectations being super helpful and friendly. All staff keep this place well maintained but those two create the atmosphere. Those kind of employees are really rare nowadays. Take care of them any this place will be always run well. Cheers!

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Le staff est très sympa (Mr Kin et une dame très gentille) et très serviable pour les transferts et activités. Petit dej inclus très bon mais n’inclut malheureusement pas les boissons.

Le bruit. On entend les personnes monter les escaliers et parler le soir car les murs sont très fins. Pas de jus au petit dej. Uniquement du café et du thé.

Super nettes Personal am Empfang, der Preis für das Zimmer in gut und es gibt süße Katzen in der Unterkunft.

Das Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können. Der Kühlschrank hat geschimmelt und gestunken. Es gab keinen Fernseher, obwohl er auf den Bildern zu sehen war. Es gab nur eine sehr schmale Bettdecke, die für uns zwei Personen nicht gereicht hat. Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche waren frisch gewaschen, jedoch hatten sie einige Flecken. Es gab kein Shampoo oder Duschgel im Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war nicht gut, sehr einfach und der Kaffee kostete extra und hat nicht geschmeckt.

Отличный хостел с приятной дружественной атмосферой. Место настраивает на общение и новые знакомства , много уютных мест общего пользования. Персонал приветливый и готов придти на помощь по всем возникающим вопросам. Отдельное спасибо мистеру Киену 🙏🏽

Uns hat das Hostel super gefallen, wir hätten sogar noch eine Nacht verlängernt, wenn es nicht voll gewesen wer. Die Rezeptionistin war super hilfsbereit und hat uns am Abend innerhalb einer Stunde einen Bus organisiert, da unserer kurzfristig storniert wurde.

Ha Long Bay was very loud and not what we were expecting, but this home stay was like a safe haven! The vibes here were so lovely and chill, Mr Kien checked us in and checked on us throughout our stay along with the other staff. Cannot rave about this place enough! Really loved it!

Location was a bit away from the sea front but it was fine walking and locating everything

I had a great time, I extended a night without problem and the staff helped allot with everything from where to eat to getting a bus to my next location. Especially Kien was very helpful, he helped me with places I shouldn't miss in Ninh Binh and we had a great chat when i had to wait for the bus. He made my wait enjoyable!

I was here in may and it was very calm and confortable place to stay! The view is really nice and the hostel is on a quiet mountain so you can escape the noises 👍 the staff is really really nice and welcoming especially with Kien I had a couple interesting and informative conversations. He speaks really well English and makes you feel like at home thank you bro!

The cleanliness and staff are really 10/10
